You cannot eat alone here!!! It’s two people at a minimum. This is a self service all you can eat. You get up to get your own meats and side dishes. The items were fresh, but some the side dishes were questionable on how long it’s been out. Service, food and atmosphere overall were great. The parking lot is small and finding parking during lunch hour was a struggle.

Google
We love this place! The food choices, the customer service, especially the price (it ain't bad). Everything is excellent for me and my family. Highly recommend this kbbq spot 🤟🏼 shout out to Ate! ✌🏼

Google
Cham Garden is a very great Korean All-you-can eat spot to try out! The parking is kinda a pain, but it's completely worth it. The restaurant is pretty small compared to a normal Korean BBQ spot, so reservations are a must! Once you are seated, you are given a little slip that you fill out, and the staff picks up at your table, which includes soft drinks, tea, water, and alcohol. You mark what drinks you want and they bring it to your table. The slip also has rice bowls and veggies you can not get from the self-serve area so please mark what you want and the quantity requested. The side dishes and meats are all self-serve the drinks are not. The staff will always make sure your drinks are full and if you need anything else (Grill change, more rice, and veggies) they're is a very wild selection of sides and meats all range from Pork, Beef, and chicken. Their is also a ton of sides Kimchee, Fish cakes, bean sprout, kimchee radishes and cucumbers, and much more! For two people around the lunch special we've paid around $60 for two so it's a bit expensive to be honest but worth every penny. But remember, please be mindful of the food you take because wasting food, including side dishes, will cost extra. If you're around the lakewood area and don't wanna drive too far, Give Cham Garden a try they won't let you down! Will surely be coming back!

Google
Great local spot. Can’t beat self serve all you can eat. It is a small restaurant so make reservations if you can.

Google
I came here with family that hadn't experienced Korean BBQ and the staff was super friendly explaining the process to us. I would also recommend stopping by next door for delicious Filipino desserts!

Google
Pretty tiny place with only 7 booths, and there must be a minimum of 2 diners. Highly recommend making a reservation during peak dinner hours. Service was good and fast, place was pretty clean. About $30 per person for all you can eat bbq. The meats were pretty decent, but the banchan sidedishes definitely lacked in flavor and quality. More of a Korean bbq catering towards non-Koreans in my opinion

Google
Food is 10/10 every time. Unfortunately every single time we go in, I feel like we’re not wanted there. I’m Polynesian so I don’t know if it’s a race thing but it never ever fails. The staff always seems to give off “hurry up & go” vibes. They’re extremely rude. No smiles, no warm welcomes. It’s a buffet but we can’t get our own drinks. We have to wait on them to get it. Even though it’s a small restaurant where they don’t fit maybe more than 20 ppl at a time yet they take forever to refill a simple drink. One day, my husband and I went in the middle of the day, asked for more rice and was told they were done serving rice for the day. REALLY? A FREAKIN BUFFET. Some people only eat rice with their meat. I had already ordered a kimchee fried rice to go for my sister & the woman that was “helping” me suggested I should use the fried rice that I ordered. She kinda laughed it off too. It wasn’t funny. And I made sure she knew. I was pissed. Now, every time we crave Korean bbq, as much as no one has topped their food, we’ll look elsewhere; we won’t go back simply because they need new people working there. Very unfortunate.

Google
Great KBBQ spot with lots of fresh options. Grab what you want, grill it up, and eat until you’re full. Staff keeps everything stocked and the vibe is easy and fun.

Yelp
Food is very good... price is reasonable for the quality but I did spend $25 for lunch which is $10 more than my budget.

Yelp
Decent place to satisfy a kbbq craving for a reasonable price. It is a pretty small restaurant, so I've heard reservations are recommended but we walked in as a party of 2 outside of regular lunch/dinner hours and were able to be seated. Unlucky that our table was one of the two without a vent. This is a self serve AYCE place, which I had personally never been to. The banchan selection was quite small but they had the classics: cabbage kimchi, radish and cucumber kimchi, fish cake, and beansprouts. The japchae noodles were a nice bonus. The banchan was alright, nothing really stood out to me but it wasn't bad either. There was a decent selection of meat - approximately half were marinated and the other half not. I thought that some of the brisket was tough. The cuts of the pork belly and beef chuck were odd to me, they were cut really thin, but not bad. All the meat seemed fresh overall. For the radish wraps, garlic, and jalepeño they give so little so I felt bad always having to ask the server for more refills.

Yelp
Our family was craving Korean BBQ, so we decided to check this place out based on a Yelp Elite recommendation--and it didn't disappoint. Important tip: Make a reservation! They strictly enforce it and will turn walk-ins away. The restaurant only seats 7 tables (up to 6 people each) with a 90-minute dining limit. Also note: no kids under 12 are allowed, and you need a minimum party of two to dine. It's an all-you-can-eat, self-serve concept when it comes to meats and banchan. There's also a soda fountain and pitchers of water nearby--but these are not self-serve, so you'll need to ask staff. Beyond the basics, they offer additional menu AYCE items like rice, sauces, garlic, daikon slices, etc., plus a la carte options like fried rice, noodles, and premium meats for an extra charge. The banchan selection was a bit underwhelming, but they did have our favorites: fish cake and japchae. The meat station was excellent--well-stocked and frequently replenished, so nothing sat out too long. The selection was a nice mix of 50% marinated and 50% unmarinated cuts. Our favorites were the spicy and mild bulgogi. The thin-sliced pork belly crisped up beautifully, almost like bacon--delicious! One small gripe: I wish lettuce wraps were included instead of being $1.99 per serving. Despite the stagnant air (they really could use more fans or ventilation), this is definitely one of the better Korean BBQ spots in the area. We'll be back!
google avatar

Edenielle A.

Yelp
Food: the food was good but the sides and the intestine was a little too sweet. I enjoyed the spicy pork and the beef bulgogi. Service: the service was great. The staff is very attentive and nice. Ambiance: it's very casual. It's also a smaller restaurant so it's very cozy. They play kpop which is a plus!

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday night and it was packed so make sure to use the waitlist on the website! We were seated quickly and everything was explained well. We only tried the beef bulgogi, brisket and chuck steak and they were all good! The brisket and chuck steak were frozen but cooked quickly. Service was very fast and it was clean and well ventilated inside. The restaurant is relatively small so I wouldn't recommend for large parties compared to chains like Gen or Gyu-Kaku. The meats were limited and kalbi was an additional cost. The sides were decent but none really stood out. I wasn't a huge fan of the apple potato salad and the japchae and fishcake tasted a bit undercooked. The cucumber and radish kimchi was good. They also offer canned peaches and pineapples as well as mushrooms, onions and zucchini that you can grill. They do also have unlimited salad, rice, radish wraps and sauces include ssamjjang, sesame oil, brisket house sauce and soy sauce along with salt and pepper. It was $30.99 per person for the weekend price which isn't bad for the area! Overall a nice, cozy local spot whenever the craving for kbbq hits!

Yelp
The food was pricey so I have to give it 4 stars. However, the food was 10/10. The kimchi fried rice was amazing!!! My 2 year old loved the bulgogi.
google avatar

Ali D.

Yelp
Today was not like the rest, service was not the same. We waited about 20 minutes into our visit after we sat down for rice and water. Ambiance is the same. Self serve meat and veggies. It seemed like they had special guest at their establishment that took up majority of their attention instead of checking on all guest. I come here all the time, today was just not the same.
google avatar

Chris H.

Yelp
Limited selection of meats but the staples were all there and the marinated meats were on point! Can't say enough about the cucumber kimchi, I could destroy an entire tub! We were a group of 5 and the seating was a bit cramped. The service was good although I think we gave the server PTSD from over loading the grill with multiple types of meat. Overall I'd come back but definitely with a smaller group

Yelp
So good! My husband and I came here for the first time and we absolutely loved it. There are so many options! We tried the beef bulgogi, pork bulgogi, pork belly, and brisket. Everything was really good and it was a fun bonding night for my husband and I. We will definitely be back for a date night in the future! Everyone at the restaurant was friendly, but it is mostly a self-service kind of thing. They will bring you certain sides and drinks if you ask for it, though!

Pat T.

Yelp
First time here and it was very good! I liked that the meat and Ban Chan were a buffet so you could pick and choose what you wanted and how much. Staff was very personable and responsive. Will definitely be back. Give this place a try!

Scott B.

Yelp
Can't dine alone here- was offered a to go menu but not seated. Can't comment on the food because I didn't want to eat in my car.
google avatar

Nathan E.

Yelp
I'd never had Korean BBQ before coming here, but always wanted to try. All of my expectations were blown out of the water. The staff was friendly and attentive, the price was fair, the restaurant was very clean, and the food was incredibly high quality and fresh. I can't imagine a better experience than I had here. I will certainly be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here with a group for my birthday. The place is quite small and there was a wait but it was well worth it! The food was amazing and the service was great. I loved the all you can eat buffet style where you go and get whatever food you want to throw on the grill. Will be back for sure! (Forgot to take pictures lol)

Yelp
Went in the late evening with a group of friends and vibe was great. It's a nice little spot with friendly staff that checked in on us every 10-15 minutes but not in a "hurry up and eat" kind of way. They would ask us if we needed anything and if the food was good. The food is what you would expect at any Korean bbq restaurant: you cook your own food on the grill, order one two trays at a time, etc. portions were good, their meats, sides, and seasonings were good and I would recommend you try it out if you're okay with spending a little more than other kbbq places in the area.

Valerie G.

Yelp
BEST AYCE ever!! The two younger gals that usually work when I'm there are amazing and super attentive! The food is so good and I dream about the sides ... Tbh the price isn't the worst either. Def adds up but compared to other places this is a good deal and it's worth it.
google avatar

Kim T.

Yelp
The staff were nice and apologized as they couldn't serve me as they required 2 customers. They explained there was limited seating and they needed to make more money so hopefully i understood. I can eat if I paid the price of 2 people. They handed me a to-go menu for me to order food to-go but i just thanked them and left. I came at 11am right when they opened so it wasnt busy, but was beginning to get busy. Sometimes i like eating alone or to satisfy a craving so maybe they can expand the store or something and allow more seating and also serve single people. They dont have the 2 ppl policy online anywhere but I guess I should have known. I'll try coming again another time with a friend but its quite upsetting finding out about that.
google avatar

Evan N.

Yelp
Philippine manager wasn't nice and seemed more concerned about money. Didn't like the cost because you're paying for basic items from a Korean bbq. It's extra charge for premium meats like Galbi and pork belly.
google avatar

Yelp
Took a trip out to Washington with a group of friends. Went to this place to celebrate my friend's 30th birthday. It was our first time in Washington, and we wanted to eat some good food and have a good time. Unfortunately, that's not the experience we got. Arrived at 6:30, mind you they close at 8. From the start, the manager/boss was rude, we felt rushed from the very beginning. We were all trickling inside the restaurant, and she made a comment rudely and asked if our entire party was here multiple times. Wasn't a lot of sides and meats. Felt restricted. Not sure if they didn't want to serve us or they actually ran out like they said. Food wasn't terrible but super limited so added a star to be fair. Overall, felt like she was only nice when we had to pay the bill, like they wanted to make quick money for less service.
google avatar

Duc T.

Yelp
Owner embarrassed me cause she raised her voice across the room when I accidentally self served myself water. Wasn't sure to dump it out or keep the water. Food was only okay. I've had better. The lady with a cross on her neck was pretty mean when we asked for another table.

Richard V.

Yelp
Good service, the food was not too bad, perhaps adding seafood items to the mix would be nice and adds value!
google avatar

Tricia M.

Yelp
This was my first time having Korean BBQ and my neighbors took me to Cham Garden for a very late birthday dinner. The place is very small and I would not recommend large groups. There were so many options for meats and sides. When requesting some things from staff, there definitely could be a delay in getting assistance. But, overall this was a pretty good first experience in Korean BBQ. However, when you leave... you'll definitely be smelling of cooked meat and smoke.

Morgan T.

Yelp
Nice little place to eat. It's always clean and the employees are always so nice. Downfall is there is no large tables for large families.
google avatar

Lauren S.

Yelp
Super nice helpful staff, easy to put yourself on the waitlist online, great Banchan (I dream of the japchae) meat is always fresh and they replace grills often for ayce! Go more than we would like to admit probably ha ha
google avatar

Oumuamua S.

Yelp
Favorite KBBQ on the way up to Seattle. No fuss, buffet style AYCE. No waiting. Just grab your meats and go grill them. Be thoughtful and don't overload your plates or you'll end up paying for uneaten food.
google avatar

Belldandy O.

Yelp
This was my first time visiting this all you can eat Korean bbq restaurant. I was really craving Korean bbq and luckily this place is not too far from where I live. We made a reservation ahead of time to prevent any wait since we were hungry. We had a group of 5 and I highly recommend not coming in large groups. This restaurant is quite small and compact. It is hard to go in and out of the booths with larger groups, especially since the space between other tables is very narrow.

Jeremy E.

Yelp
Love this place. The meat selection is great and the side dishes are amazing as well. Very small so you need to make a reservation, or you may not get a table. The self serve buffet style KBBQ is great. Thank you Cham Garden for a great dinner.
google avatar

Alan L.

Yelp
The best way to do kbbq is to do it yourself, and Cham Garden enables you to do it all: self-serve meat bar, banchan bar, refill station, and utensils. At the table, you have all the appliances and spices you could possibly need: salt grinder, pepper grinder, soy sauce, and sesame oil. With quality meat, flavorful sides, and helpful tools, I couldn't have asked for better amenities to a great kbbq experience.
google avatar

Eric S.

Yelp
Hands down the BEST Korean BBQ around! We've tried EVERYWHERE, and nothing comes close. Amazing food, Incredible service, owners are the best, won't go anywhere else, Cham Garden is the #1 KBBQ there is!

Christina P.

Yelp
My friends and I came from a hike and we were hungry. All of us are kind people looking to just eat after a long day. Immediately felt rushed and it did not feel welcoming. Made us feel like we were inconveniencing them when there was an 1hr 20min before closing. Not sure why they took us in if they were going to rush us from the start. . Didn't like how they squeeze 6 of us into a small booth. They seemed irritated and hesitant that we asked when it was not busy. Grill was never changed. Felt like they were holding back on the meat and was trying to get us out as soon as possible. Philipino lady spoke to us in a bossy, irritated tone. Rushed us to fill out the menus with sides, but I couldn't understand the rush after being informed to hurry and get our meats. Galby (which is my favorite meat), was an extra charge. It is not included in all you can eat. Other places do not give extra charge for this, so you can save ur money and go somewhere else. I enjoy all you can eat Korean bbq. Their are other places that will give you a great and friendly experience with the same cost. This business model did not work for me and honestly felt robed. Will be a first and last for me. No pictures cause we were asked to quickly eat.

Lou T.

Yelp
We came from hiking. We were rushed eating our food. We felt neglected. The food itself was decent. Disappointed that the short was not part of the all you can eat. A good business should have good product and excellent service. Unfortunately, the service fell short here.

Yelp
Our Tacoma friends took us to their favorite Korean BBQ restaurant, and I'm always up for All You Can Eat places. I think it's important to note the dining rules, so I took a picture of it (minimum of 2 people to dine-in, all guests need to be present, no waiting inside, no leftovers, 75-90 time limit, etc). Also, the restaurant is fairly small, with about 7 booth-style tables. When we walked in at about 6pm on a Wednesday, our party of 5 got seated right away. There were two other parties already seated. Afterwards, we were given a paper to fill out. I forgot to take a picture of it, but we could write our choice of drink (water, soft drinks), how many rice bowls, sauces, etc. It was my first-time seeing a self-serve stand for meats. At all the other AYCE BBQ places I've been to, you write it on a piece of paper and you can order more later through your waiter/waitress. I actually like it this way because you can choose the type as well as the quantity of meat you want, and the same goes for the side dishes. Just a note for the soft drinks machine, it's not self-serve and you need to get it through your waiter/waitress. I thought the meal was a bit pricey, and because I didn't want to eat too much before our flight, I felt like I didn't get my money's worth. However, the meat was good-quality and the side dishes were yummy. Also, the staff was friendly and came by frequently to see if we needed anything and to refill our water. They also noticed when our grill became black/burned, so they changed it for us. The next time I visit Seattle/Tacoma and come here again with my friends, I'll make sure to get my money's worth of Korean BBQ. Lol. ;)

Yelp
Small local and amazing food! Such a fu Experience you have to try! I went on my birthday and was unforgettable.

Yelp
JBLM's Airshow was going on and we got caught up in that SB I-5 traffic. Being the passenger, it was pretty cool watching those crazy aerobatic maneuvers and airplanes I normally don't see on a daily basis. No surprise the restaurant was busy because the SR-512 Park & Ride special event bus shuttle pick-up/drop off was across the street. We got put on a wait list but they had a pretty good system to notify you when your table was ready. The restaurant is a small mom and pop shop. The employees were super nice. They were really good about cleaning tables and making sure we were taken care of. They had a nice selection of AYCE meats and banchan and they were on point with replenishment of food, plates, and utensils at the buffet area. They're kinda out of my way, no fault on their part. The KBBQ joints in Federal Way are a lot closer to me but if I make my way down south again, I'll probably stop by again.

M C.

Yelp
We've been here three times for the barbecue buffet. I highly recommend Reservations. We have tried all the meat items and we're happy with them. The Bonchon is limited. The staff are attentive and helpful. I have also used them for lunch takeout and everybody has been happy. We have tried the bowls, noodles, and fried rice. If you have a party of more than four, it does get tight in the smaller booths and you may need to split up.
google avatar

Heather R.

Yelp
Decent KBBQ spot in Lakewood. I'd say service was excellent--our server was prompt and friendly. She and the other staff members were awesome. As other reviewers have pointed out, the place is small so we got there early on a Saturday. This is AYCE and there were decent options at the price point, though I would have liked to have a few more meat options. It feels like the right level of quality for AYCE but personally I would be willing to pay more for higher quality. Our grill seemed to be at a lower setting and it was different than the other tables--no controls. Overall 3.5 stars.
google avatar

Yelp
Found this little gem after visiting Joint Base Lewis-McChord. We were very impressed! You get to pick your own meats then cook at your table grill. Brisket, bulgogi, spicy pork, soy glazed and spicy glazed chicken and more. Cucumber and radish kimchis and delicious chap chae. Kimchi soup and some other salads. The service was great and the owners/staff were very nice and friendly. We will definitely go back when we're in the area again! Yum!
google avatar

Cate K.

Yelp
Self service with the meats you get to choose, and as much as you want. This place seems quite decent and clean compared to many other restaurants. The prices for lunch aren't bad either.
google avatar

Tornadoroo K.

Yelp
First Korean food for me and I love it! We had the buffet and it was delicious. I thought I was going to order ribs and rice but when we arrived we found a small but wonderful smelling restaurant with a buffet of items you select to eat and cook at table. So I tried everything but the Kimchi as it was the only item I knew. Surprised by the potato salad that had fruit and was sweet - Yum! And fell in love with the pork Bulgogi. Everything was wonderful. We told the wait staff we had no idea what we were doing and they guided us through the process enthusiastically and kindly. Great food, great service and worth the $$ and the calories. Service: above average Cleanliness: above average Beverages: Pepsi products, beer, other Kids menu: no you can choose items for your child but no nuggets or hot dogs here. MyFitnessPal: No but worth the calories- choose wisely

Yelp
Been here multiple times. Staff is always friendly. Great options to choose from for the ayce bbq options. the galbi is also delicious.

Yelp
Went for the lunch buffet, it didn't disappoint!! Food is fresh and delicious, friendly service and overall great customer service.

Yelp
Best Korean bbq overall. Why, u can't beat this place unless u go to gangnam during happy hour. Good prices, good meat selection for prices. Unreal Banchan for price. It's frigging buffet style so u can get what you want at will.... probably not ideal for people who want to avoid others or people who struggle with mobility. I came with my family and we had a blast. The place was packed and we still got seated within 20 minutes. We will be coming back. Do your best to keep the prices right and we will keep you in rotation. Only one wish, seafood option would have been really cool. They make up for it with the sides. Ahh, maybe more seating. I can see this place being full often.
google avatar

Tone B.

Yelp
This place is so good most sides and all meat are available for you to get yourself no waiting other then other customers you can get the meats to go premarinated top notch great service reservations recommended

Kim A.

Yelp
My daughter was coming from out of town so of course we needed to have Korean barbecue as the area she is from. It is not available. Cham Gardens did not disappoint.Really enjoyed that it was self service-meaning you select the amount and variety of meat and vegetables. Delightful staff and cozy atmosphere.

James S.

Yelp
Based on some of the reviews I read, I was discouraged from going here. I was decently surprised this place wasn't anything I thought it was going to be. Got to be one of the cleanest Korean BBQ place. If you want an eat and go buffet, this is the place. Meats and sides are available for taking to your table from the buffet area. The hostess was nice and attentive. Only negative thing I would say is not as much selection of meats and sides as other BBQ but you will get full. I didn't think I would leave this place feeling full but I was pleasantly surprised I was.
google avatar

Yelp
Many varieties of food to choose from. Marinade was good and our server was a very nice lady.
google avatar

Yelp
The beef brisket was ran out early on and I give the side dishes a 2.5/5 in terms of taste. Small restaurant overall, but the staff were polite & readily available for customers at all times

Yelp
Wish I could say Cham Garden BBQ Buffet hit the spot, but we left missing some of our faves. Overall, the food, service, and ambiance were decent. To begin, there's about 7 tables in the restaurant but when we arrived there were open tables so we were seated immediately. The person who seated us asked if we had been there before, we said no, and she explained how it worked. You basically write on the form what you want and they bring drinks, rice, lettuce wraps/tortilla wraps, sesame oil, and house sauce (some at an extra charge). The buffet had a decent number of options of meat, the star of the meal was probably the marinated pork, which is surprising since we love our pork jowl. When we've had pork jowl in the past, it's typically much thicker, we were surprised to see that it was thin like bacon. Be aware that if you're looking for kalbi or shrimp, you won't find it here. The banchan was also alright and it was serve yourself, which I like so I didn't have to request refills often. It was also a plus to see that they had mushrooms, onions, and garlics since sometimes other places won't have them.

Brian N.

Yelp
Food was decent. Time was not. They gave us 40 minutes to eat. They shouldn't have let us in if they were going to rush.

Yelp
Came here tonight, 11/12/2021 with a friend. Half way through eating, my friend started to back up to the edge of the seat. Lo and behold there's a cockroach roaming round the wall near the table. We politely flag our server and point to the bug (we were trying to be discreet to not scare other customers). The server just said "Oh, sorry". Takes a minute to decide who will kill the bug...moments later she comes back and reaches over the table with a tissue and kills the cockroach. Yes, reaching over the table near our food! We were trying to ask if she could kill the bug from the other side of the partition as we didn't want her reaching over the grill and our food to kill this roach. Left feeling really disappointed because the staff didn't seem to care and may know this is an ongoing issue . Didn't comp our meal nor provide any discount as an apology for the experience. If you want to eat with the roaches, come here.
