"Ask for a seat on the patio at this Thrive City pizza spot (an offshoot of the original Che Fico in NoPa) for an unobstructed view of Bayfront Park. There’s no wrong time to visit. Arrive at 5pm when doors open to watch the water glisten while sipping on an aptly named Good View Manhattan (it’s what you’d expect, plus coffee cordial) or stop by a couple of hours later. Plan to close out the night by watching the blinking lights on the Bay Bridge and munching on a solid pineapple pizza and a precariously tall cup of strawberry soft serve." - julia chen 1, patrick wong, ricky rodriguez

"First there was Che Fico, then Che Fico Alimentari came and went, and now there’s Che Fico Pizzeria. Like its predecessors, Pizzeria is a casual sit-down but with the addition of a gigantic patio overlooking the water. Unfortunately, unlike its sister restaurants, Che Fico Pizzeria hasn’t mastered turning dough and cheese into something worth ordering. The crust of the pepperoni pizza is soggy and cheese sloughs off onto your plate in between bites, taking the meat—the best part of this pie—with it. Ironically, the non-pizza dishes of the menu are a lot better. The caesar salad has a thick dusting of parmesan, sturdy croutons that don’t cut open the roof of your mouth, and a tangy vegetarian dressing that you’ll want to explore adoption opportunities with. The parmigiana sandwich with a fried chicken cutlet and a thick blanket of mozzarella is solid. The only downside is that you’ll need to inhale it within minutes before the marinara-laden bread disintegrates in your hands. Soft serve is the only option for dessert, and it’s a good one. The strawberry flavor tastes like the actual fruit and has a hint of salt to balance it out. Would we come back for a full meal? Not right now. But, would we stop by for some soft serve from their to-go window or a glass of wine outside while admiring the view of Bay Front Park? Definitely. Food Rundown photo credit: Patrick Wong Caesar Salad The highlight of the meal. Parmesan covers every shred of little gem and we don't miss the anchovies in the dressing one bit. If you only have space for one salad on your table, get this one. photo credit: Patrick Wong Chopped Salad This gluten-free salami and provolone-heavy dish tastes like a deconstructed Italian sub. The pepperonici and olives make some bites too salty, but the radicchio and chickpeas help. photo credit: Patrick Wong OG Pepperoni The pepperoni are done right on this pie. Crispy, slightly curled at the edges, and just salty enough. Sadly, that’s where the pros on this pizza end. The cheese is stringy and barely attached to a soggy crust. photo credit: Patrick Wong Pineapple and Chili We like a firm stance on pineapple on pizza. Unlike the OG, the thin slices of the fruit and onion adhere to a puffy, chewy crust. Without anything salty to counter the pineapple, this pizza eats a tad too sweet and misses any kind of spice from the chili. photo credit: Taylor Gomez Suppli Just fine. Fried mini-footballs of cheesy rice never hurt a meal, but these are completely skippable. photo credit: Taylor Gomez Parmigiana Ready some napkins for this one. This thing’s got plenty of sauce and cheese, but the fried chicken manages to cling onto some crispiness. For those not wanting to take a chance on pizza or want a shareable entree, this is a good choice. Strawberry Soft Serve Everything we want out of a good soft serve is here. Creamy, thick, and tastes like there’s real fruit in it. A vegan flavor is also on rotation if you’ve had enough dairy for the day." - Patrick Wong

Gorgeous space with amazing patio views of the bay just feet away from the entrance to the Chase Center! Staff was friendly & courteous. The QR code on the table links to the full menu and ordering is a breeze, but it really helps with closing out the tab when you gotta hurry for a game or a show. The chop, caesar, and heirloom tomato salads were worthy of the Che Fico name and more than enough for 3-4 adults. Wings came out super quick and the sauce is delicious without being too spicy. The 20" pepperoni pie was great & perfectly cooked, but the pineapple pizza is the absolute realest of deals. It's worth a trip even if you're not going into Chase, easily the best pregame bite at Thrive City!

“This is a personal perspective based on my experience there: the view is great! The current employees are very nice, but the food was not what I expected from a place built in that area. I was hoping for more unique or Italian flavors. The pizza was okay but not extraordinary or outstanding, and I couldn’t believe they were selling average baguettes. I also found it strange that they served wine in a small, unexpected glass—not a great experience. I really hope the business succeeds because the area is nice enough! SFO needs more investment, but they could definitely improve the menu to make me want to come back. I think the pizza I ordered might be the only one that stands out from the ‘average.’”

Pizza, sandwiches, snacks, salads, gelato... they've got it all. It's the same great Che Fico pizza but re-tooled for a game day crowd - pizzas come in 14" and 20" sizes. Fun cocktail menu - "Feelin' Mai Self" is an especially great name for the Bay. Friendly staff, great bay views. The perfect pre-game to any Chase Center event!

I love that this opened in Thrive City. This is my favorite pizza in the city plus they splashed out for Amazon so they had Thursday night football (unlike everyone else in the area). Amazing Che Fico food, dope outdoor venue. I brought my kids, which is dope, but this would be perfect post work happy hour spot too. Game days and concerts will be nuts (in a good way). Perfect addition by the Warriors 🔥. Oh, the chopped salad is the best in the bay and a great wine list to go with it. Also, pizza is amazing.

This place just opened. If you like the food at Che Fico, you’ll love it here. The pizzas are very familiar with tasty sourdough crust. Besides the food, the outdoor dining is the real star. You’re looking out over the bay, and it’s a pretty amazing spot to have a drink or eat dinner. Service is brisk and efficient, but there were plenty of servers if we needed anything. Look forward to coming back before a game or concert!

Had to try multiple items and was not disappointed at all. Pizza, salad, wings, sandwiches, etc..... were all delicious. Drinks were also filled up generously. Temp was slightly chili, but overhead heaters provided comfort. Worth the wait if you're in the area. Thanks Che Fico for bringing your business from Divisadero, to Menlo Park, and now to where the champs play!

Fabulous space. Calamari was the best I’ve had in years, white pizza delicous! Can’t wait to go back!
