Chef Art Smith's Homecomin'

We met our daughter in Orlando yesterday when she flew in for the weekend. She had never been to Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ so we went there for a late lunch/early dinner. Since it was Valentine’s Day Disney Springs was packed, this restaurant is uber popular on a normal day so a 30 min wait was not long especially at Disney Springs where it’s easy to kill time and they text you when it’s ready. The hosts and wait staff are great there. It’s known for their fried chicken but they have a lot of southern comfort food options. The prices are a little high but it is Disney Springs and the quality and quantity of food are definitely worth it. My daughter had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese, for me the CFS was just OK since it’s one of my favorite dishes and I’ve tried many in my years. Her mashed potatoes and mac n cheese were both delicious. My wife got cheese grits since we are sharing a Arts fried chicken plate which is huge, it came with mashed potatoes and a biscuit. The grits are really good, a little salty but not too much. The fried chicken was amazing and we couldn’t finish them all so we had leftovers. We definitely recommend coming here but you just need to be aware of the portion sizes especially if you have kids or someone who doesn’t eat a lot.

We have eaten here a number of times and have always enjoyed the experience- today was no exception. We don’t bother to try to get a reservation as invariably you can’t get one! If you are a couple and happy to sit at the bar there are around d 39 seats available- just go in and sit down and the bar staff will look after you. Sat at the bar again today and had great service. Ordered sodas, which were regularly refilled, and after the usual deliberation over what to order to eat we were soon tucking into some excellent cooking. I had the Chefs Arts fried chicken and my wife the Cuban sandwich. I know most people say this but the chicken is superb - nice crispy batter and succulent chicken. My wife thought her Cuban sandwich was very good though felt it could have been crispier bread on the tip side of the sandwich. Overall a great lunch - will be back - soon!

My wife and I decided to try this place out since she has seen and heard great things. She started with the hush puppies, which were delicious. I on the other hand, started with the Deviled Eggs, which was honestly a waste of stomach place as it was mediocre at best. For the entree, she had the Pot Roast and I had the Famous Fried Chicken, so we could share and they were delicious. Great flavor and even greater portion sizes. We both had enough to bring back to the resort. For dessert, we did the Everglazed Doughnuts, which were good too. Overall, great experience with tasty food. Only thing that was really lackluster were the deviled eggs. Obviously, give it a try for yourself, but as a person who always get deviled eggs everywhere he goes, it was subpar.

Everything is always great every single time we eat here. The service is aweaome. The servers are friendly, fun, and helpful. Every dish has been delicious. Nothing has disappointed us so far. The drinks alcoholic and non-alcoholic are always good. It's nice sitting inside. It's even nice sitting outside when the weather is nice. (Warning: Don't get honey sauce if you sit outside. A bee/yellow jacket will appear out of nowhere and not give up until it is swimming in that honey. Lol.) Highly recommend and we will definitely return. It's our favorite restaurant in Disney Springs and one of our Top 5 on Disney property.

The food in this place is DELICIOUS, yes, capital letters needed! From the appetizer to the dessert, everything deserves a chef’s kiss. We had the Key West Shrimp Cocktail to start and it was served with some sort of sesame chips that I even had to take home for the next day because of how good they were. The shrimp cocktail was exquisite, the flavors were amazing. My mom had the Skillet Fried Chicken Paillard and it was also delicious, she definitely enjoyed it. I had the Art’s Famous Fried Chicken and let me tell you all… I don’t like fried chicken breasts because they’re always dry, but this one right here, I couldn’t stop eating it! It was so juicy and full of flavor. Fried perfectly! The mashed potatoes and cheese biscuit were good as well. My son and I also shared an adults mac and cheese and it was definitely cheesy, so good. We finished our dinner with the Chocolate Pecan Pie and it was to die for, a true suggestions from our server. The food was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, exquisite, delicious and super tasty! The service was A1 from the host to the server, the manager also stopped by our table to check how everything was going and see if we needed anything. Out of all places in Disney Springs, if you’re looking to have an amazing experience with comfort food, this is the place to visit. 100% recommended!

One of the best dining options in Disney Springs by far! Definitely order the fried chicken, it’s stellar. I highly recommend the deviled eggs as well, but all the food we ordered was fantastic. The moonshine flight was delicious and SO fun (all the drinks had a kick to them but weren’t overly strong)! Service was fantastic too, will definitely be back. Possibly helpful note - on the Disney app it said it was fully booked all day, but we walked up as a party of two and didn’t wait at all for a table. Depends on the day and time I’m sure, this was on a weekday during lunch, but try your luck!

4.75 Ambiance is great Service was amazing! The food was fantastic! This was our first time, and in glad it was a great one! The peach sangria is strong and delicious ! My mom and sister shared the pot roast and loved it. Two guys got the country fried steak. (Now they did complain there was a lot of breading but it was still good) The other guy got the fried chicken sandwich, he said it was yummy! I got the fried chicken with mash and green beans. Now, I loved the green beans but everyone else said they were too Smokey and didn’t like them. Altogether, would definitely go back!

Everything about this place is amazing! We had the sweetest server who seemed proud to tell us about the craft that goes on in the kitchen. That tells you everyone from the chef to the servers are happy about what they do. The food was amazing! Probably the best fried chicken I’ve ever had in Florida. We had the fried chicken and the Mac and cheese and the green beans. The portions are huge, but we were able to split this much between 2 people, and you’ll need to go there on an empty stomach to make space for dessert too. We would love to come here next time we’re in Orlando. 10/10 wonderful place!

If you do have to wait for a table I'd highly recommend the wait. The staff is incredible. Friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and even made accommodations for my child who has food allergies. The food *chefs kiss*. I dine at restaurants often and I've never felt this level of detail. I do recommend this place! 5 Stars all across the board!

Sometimes I wish YELP had half stars or percentage point reviews! Chef Art Smith would have earned less of a rating but I won't detract for a Few Flaws. Mostly the Menu was composed of Chicken meals and most were fried! I was actually looking Forward to ART's Famous Fried Chicken which I ordered. Here's where the deduction would be The first bite was really oily! This confused me because of the mostly fried chicken menu, was wondering if they didn't let it hang to get the oil drip off or something else! Anyways we had extra napkins so I blotted it! The Chicken was actually very moist & had a good taste! My wife had the Skillet Fried Chicken Paillard Which she said was outstanding! My son Had the Fried Chicken & Donuts which he said was unbelievably a fantastic combo. My DIL went with Kitchen Plate which is a sampling of three sides! Deserts here were Fantastic especially the Hot Fudge Bourbon Brownie & The Chocolate Pecan Pie coming in 3rd Was the Hummingbird Cake. Overall things were very good our server did an outstanding job! If you're traveling to Disney Springs Chef Art Smith's Homecoming does honor the food plans but they also run it a little different so ask! My overall deduction would have been a .5 for oily chicken.

Our group of five arrived without reservations and was pleasantly surprised to be seated within 10 minutes. The restaurant's aesthetic exudes a cozy farmhouse charm, and we were lucky to snag a beautiful table in the back corner with a serene view of the water. Watching the ducks swim together added a peaceful touch to the dining experience. Our waiter was fantastic! Charismatic and attentive. He was quick to bring us waters. He gave us ample time to browse the menu while offering helpful suggestions and highlighting popular dishes. I opted for the fried chicken sandwich with a side of mac and cheese, substituting the standard BBQ chips. To drink, I had a refreshing sweet tea. One unique detail is that the restaurant uses plant-based straws. While their design might look a little "dirty," rest assured, it's just how they're made. The chicken sandwich was decent but fell a little short of expectations. I anticipated a spicier kick and more depth of flavor. The bun, unfortunately, was cold and would have been much better toasted. On the positive side, the chicken was fried perfectly, and the aioli had a nice flavor, though it was quite subtle. A buffalo dipping sauce would have taken it to the next level. The mac and cheese, however, was a standout! Creamy, flavorful, and topped with a crispy layer, it was every bit as delicious as promised. I can see why it's their #1 side, definitely worth ordering.

Popped in for lunch yesterday and was so happy to be back at Homecomin'! Lunch and service were phenomenal as always. This time, we sat outside and it was fun to people watch as we enjoyed our meals. I had the Fried Chicken Salad, my goto, and it was light and refreshing! Delightful! Although, after having a bite of the Mac and cheese, I might venture to something else next time! Dad said his green beans reminded him of his childhood and brought back happy memories. The fried chicken is out of this world! I wish we would've had leftovers because writing this review makes me want to go back now!

BEST deviled/stuffed eggs, superb! The grits were really good, $1 extra for cheddar cheese. I just ordered a side of grits to go with the eggs. They also offer a half order of the eggs, but the full order is a better value. They're so good, decadent, & had to take 3 to go. I had a hot coffee peanut brittle drink that was so, so delicious! Everything was excellent. Service was perfect also.

We had brunch here on Sunday, and it was an absolutely amazing weather day to eat outside! We were checked in at our reservation time, and we were able to use our refillable drink cups to get their amazing sweet tea and make an Arnold Palmer. I had the spicy chicken sandwich with mac and cheese. The sandwich was very saucy and delicious, and the mac and cheese was honestly the top mac and cheese I ever had. It was very rich and filling. My wife had the chicken salad which looked amazing as well. If you're able to try Homecomin' at Disney Springs, I'd recommend it because the portion sizes are generous, along with the great quality and taste of their menu options!

Pretty disappointed at this place mainly for the fact that they don't accommodate allergies. Unfortunately, they have cross contamination with shellfish/seafood & I wasn't as comfortable eating here. Unfortunately, I made a reservation & included my allergy. I was also asked by the hostess & also told her of the allergy. It wasn't until we sat down that our waiter said we will have someone speak to you. Had I known this prior, we wouldn't have ate here but it was during dinner rush and we had no where else to go. Now, I do look at the menu prior and for the most part I'd thought I'd be safe since 1. We are on Disney property and 2. They're known for the chicken. Everyone else at the table ordered what looked to be delicious food. They enjoyed their meal. I had some Mac & cheese. It was good but a bit salty.

When I think of Disney world I always think of homecoming and their cheddar biscuits!! SO GOOD. AND A MUST GET if you're in Disney springs. You can get them at the walk up bar or call in a to go order! You can also get a refillable cup for $10 and get free refills all day long every as long as you bring the cup. It's an amazing deal. The service is great. The food is phenomenal. I love the thigh high chicken biscuits. It's not too loud. The seats are comfortable. It's well maintained! You gotta go

I came here with high expectations. With all these high reviews and social media recommendations this was one of the top of tops. Many sites says they're all booked up with reservations. We did a walk in and got a 15 min wait time. We got seated by the open kitchen which was a bonus for me cause I always love watching chefs doing their thing. We ordered the OG Fried Chicken, mac n cheese, and some greens. For the appetizer we had the Key West Shrimp Cocktail. The Key West Shrimp Cocktail was interesting.. with a bedded of slaw and sauce on the bottom. The Shrimp was a bit more on the donesss side. The texture seemed like it was in a ice bath water for a bit too long. As for the slaw it didn't have much flavor as it was doused in cocktail sauce where the mango and cucumber lost its freshness or compliments the dish. The Crackers was appealing to the eye but tasted stale. As for the main course the chicken was under seasoned but the crisp factor was there. Definitely has that southern style touch to it. The mac and cheese was sadly a brick. Where the cheese has been solidified. No pull factor or softness to it. As you scoop it it comes in chunks. The flavor for it is standard to any mac and cheese. The greens are greens. Not much to say on that. The mash potato and biscuit was the bread winner of it all. Smooth buttery texture of the mash. As for the biscuit. It came out warm and soft and the aroma would attract your attention. I wish to have had a better experience but it came out a bit of a dissapointment. Hopefully next time around we can have a better experience. Still rooting for this place! Side note. Service is top notch!

This place comes up a lot on searches for brunch/lunch in Disney Springs and we finally had time to come through. The walk up wait was only 15 minutes for an inside table but outside was immediate (hot day though). We were starving but we might've ordered a little too much. To start, we got the Bunch of Puppies (their house made hush puppies) and to drink we got the Tropical Itch (which my server warned me about) and the Strawberry Ranch Water. For our entrees we were really sold on the fried chicken. I got Art's Famous Fried Chicken (came with a cheddar drop biscuit and mashed potatoes) and my wife got the Fried Chicken Sandwich (with house made barbecue chips). The hush puppies were so good with the pimento and hot honey dips. Fried perfectly. The Tropical Itch was STRONG. I can usual handle the "strong drinks" and it might be because we didn't eat too much yet but it got me. The Strawberry Ranch Water was also pretty strong but not like the itch. The entrees were huge! The fried chicken pieces were very big and were fried ok. Coating wasn't even. Mashed potatoes and biscuit were solid. The sandwich was much better. An enormous sandwich with very good chips. If you are hungry and want a strong drink, this is the place for you and your family. Lots of tipsy, full, happy people in this place.

First off...Make the reservation early for the restaurant! Walking in will have you waiting for a minimum of an hour depending on the season and time! Definitely one of the staple restaurants at Disney Springs. I took one of my close friends for her birthday and it did not disappoint. From checking in for our reservation to the customer service thru our time there it was a 10 out of 10! Ambiance literally feels like a southern restaurant with good food. We ordered the Chef Art Smiths Chicken and changed out the sides for mac and cheese and kale and collard greens! Everything was seasoned very well. Serving sizes are enough to share. Try it out if you're out at Disney Springs!

Everything sounds amazing so make sure you come hungry because that was the one mistake I made. Ate all day at the parks and by the time dinner came around I wasn't able to truly feast and appreciate the options as much as I'd have liked. Based on what I did try and order, I was more than pleased and am looking forward to returning with a more ready and able body to stuff!

While my mom was in town, I knew I had to take this sweet southern lady RIGHT HERE for some good food. This was my second visit here and my first time sitting inside. We waited maybe 5 minutes and got seated inside with a good view of the kitchen. The interior definitely adds to the southern vibe. It's impressive to see the works of art, food, leaving the kitchen, and the time given to detail before each server grabs the plates. I ordered the Muleshine cocktail. It was refreshing and packed a punch. The deviled eggs were the chosen starter. It's so cute how they are served in the 6 pack crate. They were good but needed more seasoning. I added a bit of salt to mine. My mom ordered the fried chicken salad, and we were shocked at the amount of chicken loaded on top. She said it was fresh and liked the biscuit croutons. I tried one, and yep, they are yummy. She took half to go and made a 2nd meal out of it. I ordered The Country Club but subbed the grilled chicken our for fried. This was by far the best fried chicken sandwich I've ever had! The jalapeño jelly adds the right amount of flare. For dessert, we enjoyed a slice of the hummingbird cake. It was tasty but could have been a little more moist. Overall we had a delicious meal and left very satisfied.

The menu states St Augustine Mahi Mahi but I live there and that fish is not local. Mahi is a south Florida fish. We were a party of 7 with 2 high chairs for toddlers and a 5 year old. We ordered deviled eggs and drinks at 7. It took the server about 10 minutes to come back with drinks. Food came out probably another 15 minutes after that. My brother-in-law ordered the homemade chips and he said they were horrible. Funny enough. The manager said he didn't like them either and he did an awesome job. Bringing us a fresh mac & cheese to replace it on the side within a couple of minutes. He was super nice and wanted how we got the chips replaced is that he was walking by and asked how we were doing. I did find it odd that the server did not stop by after a few minutes to see how our food was. I ordered the 3 veggie entree. I found the collards were very sweet and were braised/sautéed. There was no pot liquor in the bottom of my cup so they were dry to me. Will not order them again. The Mac and cheese comes in its own cast iron skillet and was incredibly done with the baked cheese on top. The green beans were done like Cracker Barrel but way less ham flavoring so it was well balanced on the flavoring. My hubby ordered the famous fried chicken dinner and subbed the breast piece for the thigh piece. Instead of 3 pieces like the menu said -he got 4 boneless thighs. This was a generous swap to match the ounces of total meat. His chicken was perfection and no grease at all in his crust. He was very happy with his meal and mashed potatoes. Another person ordered the fish strips kids meal for their child and the cornmeal batter was just the right amount of thickness. The chicken tenders were great too. Someone else got the meatloaf and they loved their dish too. The deviled eggs were insanely delicious and this is coming from true southerners! They had a good amount of pickle flavor end the real in the yolks was delicious. The best I have ever eaten. We sat outside so the kids would not bother people and be able to walk around. We loved that the restaurant faced the Disney balloon so you can see it from the front of the restaurant as well as the outside dining area. Out server did a wonderful job and was very accommodating. She brought full drinks as we needed more refills without asking after the food was dropped. We had a party of 7 and gratuity is auto added at 18%. We went the day before Thanksgiving and they were not as busy as we thought we would be. We only waited 20 min for a table. The inside had a great Christmas tree but could be seen outside from our view. Our server said they were sold out for Thanksgiving meals all day -serving 700 people. We will be back!

During my annual trip to Florida, my cousins and I decided to try something new at Disney Springs and stopped by Chef Art Smith's Homecomin'. It was such a great choice! We were seated outside, where we could enjoy the gorgeous weather with a perfect view of the palm trees, water, and lively ambiance. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, taking the time to ask if it was our first visit and offering fantastic suggestions from different parts of the menu. The highlight of the experience was when Chef Art Smith himself came to our table to introduce himself! He made sure everything was going smoothly and even gave us his card--a truly personal and memorable touch that made us feel like family. As for the food, the sweet tea was absolutely delicious, perfectly sweetened with just the right amount of flavor. We shared the Thigh High Chicken Biscuits, which were tasty, though the biscuits were a bit crumbly and messy. I personally had the fried chicken sandwich, which was flavorful and paired perfectly with the buttery pickles, though I didn't find it spicy. However, I wasn't a fan of the side of hot honey--it didn't taste good and wasn't what I expected. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I'm looking forward to trying other menu items next time, especially the moonshine flights! Highly recommend stopping here if you're in Disney Springs!

Homecomin' is serving up some seriously delicious comfort food. We ordered deviled eggs for the table, and I tried the famous fried chicken plate. The flavors and seasonings are all on point, the chicken is perfectly crispy (and was mostly boneless), the mashed potatoes are perfection, and the mac and cheese was honestly some of my favorite that I've ever had. The portions are HUGE, and my only regret was not saving room for dessert- next time! The atmosphere is lively and the service is great. We placed our toddler's kids meal order first, and no exaggeration it came out in 2 minutes. Much appreciated to keep a hangry child at bay! We will definitely be back to try more of Chef Art's fantastic food.

Outstanding cocktails; crunchy, briny fried chicken; and a happy atmosphere come together at Homecomin'. If you're up for fried chicken or Southern food, Homecomin' should be Plan A. Tricia, our excellent, attentive, yet not overbearing server, knowledgeably and jovially walked us through the menu. I took the very drinkable Woodford Blues cocktail, which taught me that blueberry really does work with bourbon. My friend opted for the Moonshine Mash, which disappeared quickly too. I demolished my chicken sandwich, and wish I were eating it right now. We were enjoying ourselves enough that I ordered a hot fudge brownie, which was just right: warm, molten brownie crumb; melting, cold ice cream; caramel on the side to add to taste. On a busy Friday at 7p in Disney Springs, other restaurants were quoting 1.5 h wait times. At Homecomin' we sat in 5 minutes.

Sherod was our server for my 4th birthday visit to Homecoming. Excellent service and food as usual and as expected. Our photograph last year got over 20,000 reviews of Art's hummingbird cake. God willing I'll be there for the fifth time on my next birthday. Thanks again for wonderful memories great food, and awesome service.

Like-ishh this place? Ambience is good down home vibes. But I do think it's over-hyped based on what we ordered and what the other dishes looked like. For food, we were amidst our appetizer and drinks Springs crawl, so just ordered two items. Church Lady Deviled Eggs: If you like deviled eggs, get these. They aren't anything unique but they are piled high with piped filling and served in one of those cute deviled egg cartons which I kind of want to buy. 4\5 Fried Green Tomatoes: Really really didn't like this and neither did my husband. I absolutely love fried green tomatoes and they are a standard sort of dish. Aquire green tomatoes. Batter. Deep fry. Homecomin's version were cut way too thin and were, even further affronting to this Southern delicacy, mushy. They were also topped with an enormous amount of smoked country ham which was unwanted and really really salty. Like really really. We pushed all the meat aside and just left it this was so bad. That being said, if you're on a budget this could easily be a meal for 1-2 people if you ate the meat. 1/5 on taste and regretted not returning it. Would consider coming back for brunch or to try one of the fried chicken items but meh. It looked a little dry. Maybe sit at the bar, get a bloody and the fun eggs in the fun container, and save the rest of your appetite for someplace else.

Homecoming is a special place at Disney Springs in Florida. They're known for southern comfort food and, if you want a drink, they have several flavored moonshine options. When my wife and I ate here, we overordered and underestimated the generous portion sizes. We ended up taking our leftovers and finishing them for dinner. I'll leave the fine detail to the other reviewers who may have been here multiple times, but I have to say that their "thigh high chicken biscuits" are not to be missed. The chicken thighs drizzled with hot honey over their biscuits were a showstopper.

Been waiting years to get to Chef Art Smith's! And wow it did not disappoint. Our server was amazing always checking in, refilling drinks, and offered up some hot sauce (more later). We both got the fried chicken which was a mistake. Why? Because the portions are HUGE. We could have easily gotten one order with an extra side and maybe we would have finished it. Each plate came with 3 mostly boneless pieces of fried chicken. It wasn't crispy like KFC. It seemed pan fried and more juicy. Either way it was fantastic. The server offered up some of Chef Art Smith's hot sauce and dang it's good. Not very hot but it's got a tang and sweetness to it. Did you see those pickles in the pic? Yes, they are amazing. Tart and sweet and perfect to cut through the heaviness of chicken, potatoes, and mac and cheese. The Mac was super gooey with a bit of a crust on the top. Simply delicious. And huge as well! You could get 2 of them and it would be a meal on its own. The mashed potatoes were good but honestly would have been better with some gravy on top. Lastly there were the huge biscuits. They were good, buttery and yet a bit dry like most biscuits. And again, it's huge. Overall, a fantastic place with great food. I'm sure the rest of the menu is great as well. Can't wait to go back!

We went without a reservation and they were able to seat us within 15 mins at lunch. We got a nice table by the bar. It was a very lively though not too loud, atmosphere. The server was very down to earth and welcoming, telling us everything is made from scratch and that we're meant to feel at home. When our drinks arrived, the server slapped the straws onto the table from behind me. I said we didn't need straws and she flippantly replied that they'd already touched the table and besides they were biodegradable. I'm used to places either not providing straws unless asked or asking so I found the throwing of straws onto the table without asking to be rude. I think our server had too many tables because trying to order dessert etc. seemed to take longer than expected to get her. We had the fried chicken salads which were excellent. The fried chicken was crunchy and flavorful. The veggies crisp and fresh and the dressing was light and refreshing. I'd seen good reviews for the hummingbird cake. I've never had one so figured this was a good place to try it. I found it much denser than I expected which I'm sure is how it's supposed to be made but wasn't what I was in the mood for. We tried to explain that since we're tourists we can't take anything with us because we'll be walking around all day, it the server was insistent that we had tot take it to go because it would keep. The issue was not how long it would stay fresh but that I didn't feel like lugging leftovers all day just to put in the hotel fridge and never eat because we'd be getting dinner out at other places. Besides I didn't even like the cake. But the woman was so insistent that we had to take it to go that we acquiesced, wasting not only the cake but also the to go containers. The server was trying to be helpful and friendly. It simply didn't work for me. She gave us three free donuts for our anniversary but again without asking. So then we had cake and donuts to carry. I'm sure others would love her kindness and the free dessert.

Wowwwww there's a reason why they're rated so high. Proces are reasonable for Disney and you get a bug portion. Inside has a nice view of the water. We came for the brunch and the food was amazing. I like that they have vegetarian options (they even have vegan chicken patty if you want) the avocado toast was so bright and fresh. I got the gratin potatoes which were sort of like mashed potatoes I like that they were able to make me a mocktail. I got the watermelon and it tasted like I stuck a straw into a fresh juicy watermelon. My favorite was the biscuits. OMG I could eat a tray of those. Service was also good they asked If we had any allergies, very friendly. Would definitely come back

I basically go to chef arts each and every time I go to Disney springs. I almost always order the fried chicken because it's their signature item. Typically I get it with the Mac and cheese and the mashed potatoes. I can't even finish the Mac because it's the biggest richest portion ever. Their biscuits are delicious and the fried green tomato's are a good item to order if you haven't had them. They feature some delicious cocktails and the food is always plated so well. One of the best things there is the service. Every single waiter or waitress I've had has been top tier level wonderful. They are funny and welcoming and kind. I just love it there so much.

What a great dinner had at Chef Art Smith's Homecomin'. The flavors, batter, crunch...all of it! The eggs were a little too boiled on the white but overall good flavor. Nothing like extra protein. It was the best fried chicken. The gravy with bacon smothered on chicken breast was phenomenal. The plates are large! You can absolutely share these portions. Waitress was so sweet. A mgm came by to check on us as well. It's worth the wait!!!

Our group of 6 enjoyed a late night dinner at Chef Art. The place is buzzing with a lot of people but service was not compromised. We ordered deviled eggs, of course the fired chicken and cauliflower appetizer which was really good. I'm not a big fan of fried chicken but this one is fantastic. Next time I'm in Disney Springs, I will definitely be back.

Flavor, flavor, Flavor! Every dish we tried was outstanding! You know the food is good when your picky little eaters get real quiet and devour their meals. Our kids had chicken tenders w/ Mac & cheese and a Cheeseburger. I had meatloaf and my husband had the catfish. Our server Gary was super cool and made great drink recommendations! We will definitely return to try the famous fried chicken.

We went here for brunch and it is easily one of our favorite Disney experiences. The service was superb from Taylor and the food came out lightning fast. Chicken and doughnuts were so gooooood, great portions! My husband had the traditional fried chicken with mac and cheese. It was excellent all around!

We had an amazing experience at Chef Art Smith's Homecoming. Our server was wonderful, he was very helpful, attentive and kind. The food and drinks were delicious! Everyone in our group loved their food and next time I'm at Disney Springs it will be at the top of my list to revisit.

Stopped by for the Hummingbird Cake and a few cocktails. We loved the vibe, very relaxed feeling and super friendly staff.

We Frequent homecomin' often when we visit Disney springs. This visit there was a meatloaf sandwich NEW-menu item. Gave it a go pretty decent overall-might have needed a nap afterwards lol. Anything that's fried sauced up and on a biscuit or in slider form is a winner winner chicken dinner. Drinks are seasonal always something new and fresh to get a good buzz on! Service dependent on how busy or time of day. Be patient grab a drink relax and enjoy! Always a vibe here, after all you are in Disney Springs.

Location is always great. Deviled eggs are always delicious. Friend chicken salad was huge, yummy and very filling. Good overall salad at a great price. Service is always good. A little disappointed our timing was off and we couldn't enjoy the excellent brunch menu. Over all always a great experience regardless. We be back for brunch!!!! On the right day! lol

We came here during our recent visit to WDW. My husband and I were able to sneak away for a date night. We didn't have reservations but we were able to find seats at the bar with no issue. We ordered drinks and they were great. I loved my Spicy Watermelon Margarita. We definitely overordered on food but that's what we always do. - Asian Cauliflower - so good! Would definitely order again - Fried Pickles - these were good too. Surprisingly crunchy for a fried pickle. - Short Rib - this was delicious. I wish I wasn't so full by the time it came (thanks to the appetizers) but it was so good. Definitely flavorful. I didn't care for the carrots, they were a little too crunchy for me. My husband got a chicken dish (i cant remember the name) but he enjoyed it. Overall we had a great dinner, our waitress (aka bartender) was great as well. If we visit WDW again, we will be back!

What a gem!!! I'm a sucker for southern food and this spot did not disappoint! our server took care of us & provided complementary assorted moonshine shots for my gf's bachelorette party! Would absolutely come back!

I didn't realize this place was in Disney Springs :) uhh, getting that out of the way, I truly enjoyed what Walt would consider a magical dining experience! Excellent wait staff, service and the food was pretty darn good! You get what it says on the can. Huge portions that I ate from twice after taking my entree home.

Came here to refill our drink, we love getting a Blue Hootch and walking around to shop. It is strong, the two of us share one and can get a buzz. We brought my mom and brother for the first time who also got a blue hootch and a white sangria to go. The white sangria was delicious, highly recommend to anyone looking for a sweet yet light beverage. The server was very friendly and I appreciated her efficiency in making the drink. Looking forward to my next visit!

Great restaurant in Disney Springs. The portions are huge, the service is fantastic, and we sat next to a window so the view was nice. Would recommend the Key west shrimp cocktail which was fresh and moonshine flight which is enough to share for two.

I had seen this restaurant on a few lists of good places to eat at Disney Springs. Today I was in town so I decided to give it a try. I didn't have a reservation but was quickly seated when they opened at 11. The place filled up pretty quickly. Service was quick and professional from my waiter, Anthony. He made some recommendations and gave an explanation of some of the items. I decided to go with a chicken sandwich, which came with homemade barbecue potato chips. Both the sandwich and the chips were delicious. Two managers also stopped by my table to make sure everything was okay. Highly recommend this place.

Hush puppies were the family favorite starter, especially with their red jalapeño jelly. Their jalapeño jelly wasn't that spicy and almost tasted like sweet and sour sauce. Also enjoyed their fried green tomatoes with ham. Probably would've been better if the ham was sliced thinner, since it was salty and overpowered the tomatoes. Could pass on the deviled eggs next time. Not bad, but not that memorable either. Delicious fried chicken for our main, which was definitely big enough for 2 people to share. Their cheddar cheese biscuits were seasoned well, but a bit dry. Didn't love the thick layer of cheese on the top of their mac and cheese, but otherwise, it was good.

Always a 5 star experience here! This is a tough reservation to get, but they do have a walk-up list and the bar seating is first come first serve. The portions here are large and delicious! There truly is an option for everyone! Our server was super friendly and offered great recommendations. I tried her suggestion of the strawberry burrata salad with the addition of fried chicken. OMG was it amazing! Probably the best salad I have ever had. The crispy prosciutto added great texture and salt. The fried chicken made it really feel like an entree! We also split the side of mac and cheese. I loved the layer of melted cheese on the top. If you are a baked mac and cheese fan, you will love this! To drink, I had the strawberry lemonade moonshine. I had the 16 oz and thought it wasn't too strong and a good choice for a daytime drink! I can't wait to come again and try more things on this awesome menu!

Party of 2 and we ordered the thigh high chicken which was great and came out pretty quick. Loved the biscuits and chicken plus the fried chicken which they are known for was truly delicious and I could not stop enjoying every bite. Our server was very fast to respond to our needs and the service staff were very nice seating us. They knew the menu back and forth and made the process easier. 10/10 would love to come back.

This is our second time here and we'll continue to come back. We waited about 30 minutes without reservations. Once we were inside, we were sat by the bar area, which I actually liked better than where we sat last time in the regular dining area. We were immediately greeted by our waiter and ordered our drinks and then our food. We ordered the country fried steak and Art's famous chicken. It was delicious. Both plates were shareable, and we took the rest home for leftovers. We liked being around the bar as we felt that people are more fun to be around and the staff was great.

As locals, we're always on the lookout for those elusive Disney Dining reservations. When we spot one, it's a moment of pure excitement. Yes, you read it right--these are the reservations that everyone wants, but few can snag! Let me tell you, every single item on the menu here is a treat for the taste buds. But if you're watching your waistline, this might not be the place for you. I usually opt for the Fried Chicken salad-a compromise that lets me enjoy the famous chicken with a little less guilt. During my last visit, I decided to try something new-the Cucumber Cooler. And let me tell you, it was a revelation. Light, refreshing, and the perfect companion for a hot Florida day. I've found a new favorite! If you can't get a reservation, you can try to snag a spot at the bar, but you can always take drinks to go from the walk-up outdoor bar!

WOW!!!!! I wasn't expecting deliciousness coming out of Chef Art, the wait was worth it. Every item we had order was cooked to perfection and was so flavorful. For our app we ordered the Bunch of Puppies which are hushpuppies served with pimento cheese and red jalapeño jelly. Loved the Thigh High Chicken Biscuits, they were moist and drizzled with hot honey. And OMG Shrimp & Grits, the shrimp is pan seared with tomato gravy and Tasso ham served over creamy grits with a cheddar drop biscuit. Highly recommend coming here. I can't wait to make the trip for Miami to eat here again.

Grant and Erica are the best. Hard to get a reservation but inside and outside bar seating is open. The food is perfect comfort food and the moonshine is undisputed. I love a purple lambo to drink with fried pickles. The Mac and cheese is great, but adding bacon makes it perfect. You can be full on sides, or get a meal and prepare to take some home.

My family of 4 enjoyed our first trip to Chef Art's on a recent Sunday afternoon. Good service and each person enjoyed their meal thoroughly. My Shrimp 'n Grits were tasty-not the biggest ham fan but the Tasso was sliced thin and cooked through while the tomato-based sauce was accompanied by a tasty pesto on the outer rim and the grits. The Thigh High Chicken Biscuits appetizer was enjoyed as a meal, while the Braised Short Ribs were a hit for my son-carrots, mashed potatoes and biscuit made it a full meal. A place to visit whenever in the area!

Dropping some stars on my previous review. I have been here three times and the first time was fantastic. Since then the main reason I good because online the item I want is still listed as on the menu. Sadly it is not. The item in question is the pork chop. On my most recent visit I asked why this item exists online but not at the location. I was then told that the item hasn't been on the menu for a year. And I know that is not true because my first time having it was in September of 2023. Overall that one item is reason to come. The other items on the menu are okay but no where near as impressive as the pork chop. Looks like I continue my days asking if this item is on the menu before booking a reservation. Middle disappointed.

I heard so many raving reviews about this place and wanted to try it out. First of all, it's super hard to get a reservation. You could do a walk up but the wait is long. Anyway we waited long enough and we're fortunate enough to get called for a table. We got the Art's Famous Fried Chicken and Chopped Pork Barbecue Plates. The cheddar drop biscuits and Momma's Mac and Cheese sides were good. The Art's Famous Fried Chicken was good, but it tasted like any other fried chicken so there wasn't anything that was particularly special about it. The Pork Barbecue just tasted like sloppy Joe so again it was ok but nothing spectacular.

we had an amazing time at Chef arts Homecoming! The food was amazing. The service was great. due to check-in we ended up being late for our reservation and they were still so accommodating. My first set of fries that came out was cold and they made me a new one with no issues. They even gave me a slice of cake for my birthday unfortunately none of us like the cake so I would say skip that on your trip. Overall, Chef Arts was a win as a welcome dinner on our trip.
