Food was just fine, but not worth the prices to be honest. Much better restaurants at this price point. The short rib quesadilla was good, but could have used more balanced flavors as the short rib and greasy cheese over powered each other. The tostada was ok, I didn't taste any crab but it was good. The steak, intended to be shared was barely enough for 1 person, but it was flavored nicely. The fish was rich and balanced, also a good portion but disappointed it wasn't deboned for us by the waitstaff. For $75 it should have been. The arroz chaufa was the best thing I ate, great flavor, definitely meant to be shared. The salcipapa was tasty but not truly a salcipapa, just crumbles of chorizo with a mayo, ketchup dressing. The guac was fine, nothing special. The tostones and maduros were perfect. For cocktails, I had the Meloncito which I thought was too tart to enjoy any of the other ingredients, I switched to the Pina con Coco, added rum, and it was really good. Service was good but a little slow. The waitress and bus boy were very sweet. The vibe and decor of the place was very cool, good music and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The live music was cool.
