Discovered this amazing hidden gem on the way home after a long day at a job site. Food, alcohol, and overall ambience is totally worth the visit for night of Spanish fusion cuisine that will leave you full and big smile on your face. Also shout out the very awesome wait staff here. Looking forward to returning!

Excellent authentic Mexican food. The sauces are amazing . Nice atmosphere and great service . We moved from Houston, Texas and have been looking for a great Mexican restaurant. We may have found it. Limited parking as is the case with many Denver restaurants. There is some parking behind the restaurant.

Had dinner here on a whim and really glad I did! Service was exceptional - I'm always a little hesitant when asking for mocktails if they're not on the menu bc some bartenders act put out about it (still!) Instead, these folks were happy to make me a lovely fancy mocktail. I ordered the sea food rellenos bc I was very curious about the combo of items in the stuffing (included peaches, raisins, walnut and various seafood) and it was really tasty, much more complex flavors than the usual texmex rellenos we get around here. Glad I took a chance on something more novel sounding.

Love this place. AUTHENTIC comida de Puebla México. I love the Chile en nogada so much. It’s usually most commonly had around Mexican Independence- but here you can have it any time! Everything on the menu is great. Normally, the service is great( the mother of the owners is A GEM- love her) but it seems the server was new- not attentive at all. But that won’t keep me from going back over…and over again.

Everything I’ve tried here has been amazing. Upscale Mexican food, very different than your average Mexican restaurant. Small portions for the price would be my only complaint. Food is so delicious and I feel like you get about half of what other restaurants give you. Still worth going because it really is outstanding cooking. Edit: Went a few more times and enjoyed the food less. Will probably still be back.

Chile en nogado was the star of the table - a savory concoction of poblano, fruits, nuts in an amazing creamy, sweet sauce - a real taste treat! Chicken poblano mole was rich, dark and delicious - chicken was tender and mole was flavorful and perfectly balanced. Our favorite with the chips was a tasty, mildly flavored bean/chorizo dip. House marg was smooth and boozy, a real value at $6! Service was attentive and helpful. Overall, Chile Verde is a satisfying and delicious dining experience, an excellent value and we will return.

We sat at the bar. I understand the bartender was busy but it took forever for her to even acknowledge us. Then it took another forever to get napkins. She barely paid any attention to us. We wanted to order food and had to flag her down to tell her we wanted to order food. The calamari was cold, rubbery and very greasy. I will not be back.

We took my mom, who is pretty cognitively impaired, here for Mother's day and had an amazing time. Our server, who I believe is the owner, was absolutely amazing with her. He played along with her stories, was patient, and exceptionally friendly. Even if the food wasn't the best Mexican we have had in Denver, which it most certainly was, we would be back. When you can have great service (less common these days it seems) and great food....big win!
