"Please do not sing the babyback — okay, you’re already doing it. Fine. Yes, Chili’s South Indian Cuisine has a definite SEO problem, so let us say now that what you want at this Chili’s is the dosa. The crepe-like street food made from a fermented rice and white lentil batter is labor-intensive and still difficult to find in Seattle proper, but it’s been available here, and at the restaurant’s original location on the corner of 50th Street since 2008. It’s most succulent with curried lamb, but the paneer and spiced potato version is satisfying, too." - Mark DeJoy, Eater Staff

Great Indian food!! The service was exceptional and all the dishes were amazing. We had a group of 7 who dined in and everyone was raving about it. Some of the best Indian food I’ve had on the west coast! Highly recommend the butter chicken.

This place will transform your taste buds to new places. I can’t say I know a lot about Indian food, but I’ve had it a few times. The butter chicken here at a best level of 2 was exceptional. It is easily the best I’ve ever had. Walked here from the Huskies game and it was worth the 20-25 minute wait for them to make it. The Paratha was so delicious. I shared one order with a friend and jt was plenty of food. I’m glad it was because the prices are bit high, though the portion size makes it reasonable.

Reading some of the reviews, I feel this place is under appreciated. Maybe dinner (which I had) is better than lunch (which I didn’t)? I don’t know. But my appetizer and my lamb curry were both excellent - fresh tasting, nice flavor blends, just the right spice levels, good meat (not the tough lamb some places serve in curry), and well cooked. Service was very friendly and timely. Give it a try!

Overall good flavorful food. Service is slow. The atmosphere is nice since it's along a buzzing street near University. The mutton thali was really good. Chettinad chicken was delicious. Fish thali was okay, fish curry served could be fried fish instead.

Worst service i ever had. We entered the restaurant at 8:15pm. The waitress was a bit rude rushing us to order. We had couple of items to go and asked for a to-go box. she denied giving one to-go box and mentioned all they offer for a carryout order are napkins and spoons. The curry is all leaked and spoons and napkins got all dirty. They missed adding salt to the curry we ordered. Never experienced such a rude behavior anytime before. I never wrote a bad review before. This place is NOT RECOMMENDED .

Forever a loyal customer. Love eating here and also at Deli Mart. Delicious food from their cuisine. The owner of the restaurant ensures everyone get dishes to satisfy their savory needs and feeding with love. I have been coming here for last 3 years or so. Authentic resturant with champ home food that reminds you of your mother's cooking. Come to the restaurant and Deli Mart! You won't regret.

So not the best i have had, I ordered mysore masala dosa here, and was mostly disappointed by what was served. A tiny bowl of sambhar, and 2 chutneys. The dosa shell itself was bad, served broken. Never ate a broken shell dosa in a restaurant back home. The staff, one of them is very rude. The taste was not that good either.

Got delivery from here via doordash and had to come over to Google to leave a review bc it was just that good 😩💗 they threw in a free lentil soup and a coconut juice with our order which was so sweet!! the food was all delicious (malabar curry was too spicy for me but my partner loved it). the tilapia fry was PERFECTLY cooked and sooo delicious, probably my favorite item. really solid, standard butter chicken and samosas with good chutney. our masala dosa was wrapped in foil so it was a lil soggy when it arrived but we tossed it in the air fryer for a couple of minutes and it was perfect! also, they included approximately 1000 lbs of rice for all the goodies which was great highly recommend, we can’t wait to go sit down to eat here ☺️
