Choc NYC Review - Inwood - New York - The Infatuation

"Choc NYC is a bakery so good that it’ll make you wish you lived next door (or at least in the neighborhood if you don’t already). This place bakes their own croissants, pastries, tarts, and cakes in the back, and it’s best to swing by first thing in the morning before the pastries start to thin out. Stop by for a latte and one of the must-try caramelized croissants (some even come dipped in chocolate), a muffin, or a pistachio eclair. With an excellent selection of desserts for a crowd - we like the classic chocolate layer cake and seasonal baked fruit tarts - keep this place in mind the next time a holiday or special occasion pops up. Food Rundown Caramelized Croissant We love caramelized anything, but this croissant tops our list. Large and buttery, it manages to be both crispy and a bit chewy, with a sweetness that isn’t cloying. If you want to go for broke, get the one that’s dipped in chocolate. Pistachio Eclair There’s a beautifully artisanal quality to the opaque green glaze and pistachio bits decorating this French pastry. The inside is no different—the crusty baked choux dough is bursting with fluffy pistachio cream, ensuring no bite goes without." - The Curious Uptowner

The Best Dishes Eater Editors Ate This Week, January 2022 - Eater NY

"As New Yorkers ogled the winter’s first snowfall last week, I was more enamored by the dusting of powdered sugar on this Viennese apple strudel ($4.75) from Chocnyc, by far my favorite neighborhood bakery. The crispy, tissue paper-thin strudel dough resembled an overstuffed burrito filled with tart apples that reminded me of the fall months that feels like forever ago. But the rum-soaked raisins, toasted cake crumbs, and walnuts brought back fresh memories of holiday celebrations in the past month and made a case for being an idyllic comforting winter dessert. It’s a no-frills pastry that’s familiar and timeless — like an American apple but more old world with with its European roots. Unlike the short window that a snowfall in NYC is actually appreciated, however, every bit of this strudel was savored to the last bite. 4996 Broadway, between West 212th and 211th streets, Inwood — Bao Ong, editor" - Eater Staff

Love this place! Everything is delicious here plus the staff is so friendly and welcoming. Few of our fave items are classic chocolate cake, red velvet cake, chocolate chip cookies, & vanilla cake!!! 🍰 🍪 🍫 😋💕

Google
Omg they are delicious! I highly recommend! I got my birthday cake here made ! I know they couldn’t make it into a heart shape but they did it with frosting and it was gorgeous and delicious!

Google
Best bakery in upper Manhattan, top quality, amazing staff. Has become a major neighborhood favorite for so many in our community. Forever grateful.

Google
We were craving for pastries from Chocnyc which was recommended by Yelp Top 100 Croissants. It’s kind of far from where we live but no one can stop us from eating. We were satisfied with their line up. We got their Plain Croissant, Caramelized Croissant, Pecan Sticky Bun and Savory Biscuit as first try. The portion was great with reasonable price. Our favorite was the Pecan Sticky Bun which was satisfying with soft and rich texture. Their croissant wasn’t our type but it’s still worth a visit.

Google
This place is amazing! Can’t imaging how famous it will be if they got a location closes to the city.. Based on some reviews here, I did skip their cake but had their caramel croissant and the pleasuredome (chocolate & hazelnut mousse, banana, peanut, and just a thin slice of cake underneath.) 🥐✨Croissant was a must! Really really flaky, thick and soft, chew and moist in the middle! 🍫The pleasuredome was also outstanding. It was a rich choice (I felt so full after finishing it..) but not overwhelming. Good for someone who loves various flavors all at once. But I did understand why people said the cake was slightly dry. The slice inside this dessert was the same and crumbling.. but the mousse saved it🤣 Definitely go back for more next time when visit Inwood!

Google
This bakery does an exceptional job at customer service, patient and kind to all its customers. I never tip cashiers, but I felt super welcomed and appreciative that the staff was patient with me so I tipped the cashier attending me! 🍪 Their food is also delicious. I tried their cookies and i liked the oatmeal raising over triple chocolate. The macaroons were also crunchy but soft on the inside. Quality is good and authentic. 🍰 Their signature chocolate cake didn’t taste artificial and overly sweet, so i am definitely coming back. Good food and good service. Give it a try !

Google
A MUST try in NYC. Never disappoints. Their cakes and savory treats are simply DELICIOUS, outstanding and carefully made to perfection. ✨️✨️✨️✨️

Google
What a gem. The pastries and cakes are superb but what took the cake ( no pun intended) was the rosemary olive bread roll. It was so amazing I had to call and compliment the chef. Thank you for giving our neighborhood such high quality treats.

Yelp
I don't often find myself in the northernmost hilly ranges of Manhattan, and when I do it's usually to enjoy the lively summertime atmosphere of Dyckman Street. But this unassuming bakery steps from the last stop of the A train is not just a neighborhood gathering spot, but rather a destination-worthy purveyor of some of the best cakes in the city. For a recent celebration we ordered a red velvet as well as the chocolate ganache cake. While I expected the red velvet to be my preferred option of the two, the chocolate ganache was absolutely stunning, with a decadent texture and richness. We received multiple comments from guests asking where we had sourced the cake, none of whom expected the answer to be Inwood.

Yelp
CHOCnyc has been a mainstay in the Inwood community for almost ten years and I finally brought myself to visit for the first time last week. I felt so welcome from the moment I walked in. I was greeted by Brad, half of the husband-husband team behind the bakery.I asked him about his favorite pastries because I was at a loss for what to order with all the options (fortunately you can't go wrong- it's all good!). I ended up getting the cranberry almond scone and jalapeño cheddar muffin - a bit of savory and a bit of sweet. I don't like spicy things but the jalapeño wasn't spicy at all. It was flavorful and savory but not too cheesy (which I personally prefer). It was delicious. The scone was a lot more rich and indulgent with the sugar coating and almonds but equally good. The pastries were both reasonably priced and super fresh. What I liked as much as their selection though was just the hospitality I felt . The bakery had the feel of a small town bakery. They seemed to know their customers by name and were more than willing to engage and chat. They were really pleasant and I will definitely be back soon!

Yelp
CHOCnyc has done it again!! The cheesecake WITH crust is my favorite!! It is baked to perfection, with the texture just right- smooth and creamy... and a crust that gives it a balanced taste! Will def be returning to try new/other items! I am so happy that they expanded their menu!!

Yelp
4.5/5 stars! Such an excellent bakeshop! Definitely one of the best in NYC and easily would've been a top bakeshop if in Manhattan. I went on Saturday morning and it wasn't too busy. Staff was friendly and service was quick! There isn't any seating but it's cute classic bakery feel. Pistachio eclair: 5/5 wait for the eclair to "defrost" and get soft. It was absolutely delicious with light airy cream inside. Not too overwhelming but I loved the pistachio flavor. Chocolate eclair: 4/5. Also really good but the pistachio eclair outdid the chocolate. The cream was a bit more thick than the pistachio. Pleasuredome: 2/5. Too much banana that overshadowed every other taste. I felt like I was eating mashed up bananas Croissants: 5/5. Prob the best croissants in NYC. Flaky and delicious. I got the chocolate and regular. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend to everyone!

Yelp
Wow, ChocNyc makes a great Apple strudel! Chock full of apples, wonderful texture, so delicious!

Yelp
Love this place! The cakes and cupcakes are delicious! I haven't tried the coffee but I heard it's good as well. Everything I have tried has been so good.

Yelp
Yummy Dessert! My boyfriend LOVES carrot cake. I called ahead to make sure they were still open as it was 5 minutes to closing. Luckily I was able to make it in time. The spot is very cozy but perfect size to place your orders and go. I was greeted by the friendly staff and the smell of yummy baked goods. I got him a slice a carrot cake. Before I could even take a picture of the cake he inhaled it. Safe to say he liked it! So happy I found a spot close to work where I can pick up yummy treats before going home.

Yelp
I really wanted to include a picture in my review, but I realized I ate my treats so fast I ended up forgetting! Everything from here is so rich & delicious. I looove their chocolate cakes, and I just got their pumpkin cupcake- it had cream cheese frosting and filling with sliced almonds & sea salt, literally tasted soooo yummy! It's rich but light at the same time. Their coffee is also great & at a decent price. I also got a cute doggy tote bag from there, which half the proceeds go to no kill shelters! With this place located right across Isham, I can't think of a better place to stop at before a nice walk in the park! 5/5

Yelp
Outstanding desserts. Really lovely pastry chefs with dirty coats which means they're making everything fresh. I've had the lemon tart which has a touch of sweetness from the white chocolate lined crust. Also enjoyed the Bourbon German Chocolate Cake. Moist, decadent, layers of chocolate and not too heavy on the coconut flakes. The service is like visiting a pastry shop in Europe. People talking about their desserts like a child they birth.

Yelp
This place is worth going out of your way for. If the case doesn't provoke you the open clean pro kitchen with serious white chef hat bakers key you in on its legitimacy. An article years ago led me here for their caramelized croissant dipped in chocolate - but everything is superior - and pricey. At the 207 street A train stop this is worth going out of your neighborhood for.

Deborah M.

Yelp
I found the service to be lacking. The servers on several occasions have been inhospitable, condescending, and unfriendly. As a customer, I waited for the server to complete in-house tasks, never acknowledging my presence until I brought it to his attention that I needed to be served in order to make a purchase. The atmosphere in this establishment is consistently icy.

Yelp
Cute little shop. Plenty of assortments to choose from. I'm a serious chocoholic so obviously I need to stop by here. I purposely made the trek over from NJ to curb my sweet tooth. Got the chocolate croissant and it was good! I really wished I ordered the plain one to compare. Loving their cupcakes too. The key is the filling and frosting. I got the red velvet and the chocolate and I'd give the former a slight edge. Lastly, I got the eclair. I wish the breading was a bit softer but the taste and cream filling was solid. All in all a good experience. Great pastries and sweets!
google avatar

Sandar S.

Yelp
It is a pleasant and quiet small bakery. Yet, they have broad range of pastries and coffees, one of the best in NYC. I would highly recommend to get caramelized croissant and pistachio eclair. Although they are a little pricey, you will be blown away how amazingly delicious and yummy those pastries are.

Yelp
How has this place not gone "viral" or had every foodie posting about this spot?! WOW! WOW! WOW! I'd like to start out by saying, this is a rare time I am giving a 5 star review based on a single visit! A few blocks from the 207 A train station stop, this little gem is located between a bodega and pharmacy. Little is quite literal in this case. Lol! I think there was maybe 2 seats? I absolutely LOVE the open concept! This is how you know it's next level. I believe I saw 2/3 people hard at work making pasties in chef uniforms. The young guy on register was polite and quick. I've attached a few pictures of the goodies available at 2pm on a Friday. I absolutely LOVE anything pistachio flavored. I opted for the pistachio eclair. I was so tempted to get the carrot cake since that's another fav, but opted to try the eclair first. I've never in my life regretted NOT getting something like I do right now, 3 hours later. Smh. Someone came in after me asking for sticky buns but it was sold out. I actually thought this was a good variety, so I can only imagine the few other goodies I missed! So here's where I was originally going to put 4 stars. I walked out and took a bite of the eclair. The outside was semi hard? Hard to explain. However the filling was bangin! Oh and if you notice, I've attached a pic after I bit into it. Bay-beeeee, this eclair was almost $6 but they were NOT stingy with the filling! Yep, filling all the way until the end. You know exactly why I'm saying this too! Doesn't it suck when you buy a delish pastry only for them to skimp out in fillings? Or the filling stops 3/4 of the way? Smh! So I ate most of it and left the 3 bites in my bag. Girrrrrl (or boy or gender neutral person reading this) I ate those last 3 bites a little over an hour later and it was PERFECT! Please listen to me on this tip: WAIT/let it defrost before eating the eclairs! I saw someone else comment something similar and Can bet she ate it right away like I did. I guess since they are refrigerated, that's what was causing the harder texture. Once it defrosted, you will experience eclair perfection! A texture sturdy enough to hold the filling but still "light". I can't wait to come back here! DEF getting the carrot cake & a few other goodies! I will def update my review to let you know if they remain at a 5 or knocked down to a 4. I do wish they had better hours but what can I do? I love when I find new & delicious places! My taste buds did a happy dance and I am grateful to CHOCNYC for that Amazing food, nice customer service, clean establishment...what more can you ask for?! GO!

Yelp
I have been eyeing this place on Instagram for over a year and never found the excuse to indulge myself. Well, I finally did it and it was worth it! If you are craving chocolate or baked goods, this is a top-tier place to go to in Inwood. Their signature chocolate cake is delicious. Is called the CHOCnyc Jubilation and I believe the owner said it was infused with rum! The chocolate-filled croissant was delicious on the inside and buttery on the outside! I also had the caramelized croissant, which is a croissant covered in caramelized brown sugar. They also had a chocolate-dipped croissant that I didn't get. Overall, you got options and can't go wrong with any of their goods!

Lucila P.

Yelp
Fantastic bakery in Upper Manhattan. Everything is beyond delicious -- cakes, pastries, drinks! And ice cream in the summer.

Yasmine T.

Yelp
The caramelized croissants and the sticky buns...simply divine. Best bakery uptown IMO.

Yelp
Are you kidding me? Easily top 5 NYC bakery. Consistently delivers mastery. Hot chocolate deserves to be short listed. Very grateful for Choc.
google avatar

Mathew S.

Yelp
Delicious! I've been here maybe 5 times now, and if I wasn't trying to cut back on sweets I'd be here every day. So far I've only tried the chocolate eclair and the carrot cake (two of my favorites) and both are fantastic. The chocolate eclair is BIG and has lots of the yummy vanilla pastry cream as the filling, and for the special touch there are crunchy little chocolate balls sprinkled on top that add a nice unique crunch. The carrot cake is nice big generous slice too. The only downside is the hours with closing time at 5 p.m. which means you need to go grab your treats before the end of the work day.

Caroline P.

Yelp
So delicious. The French toast croissant was to die for so crispy and fresh. The coffee was also pretty good too. A great bakery at the top of Manhattan
google avatar

Kadeem J.

Yelp
Best pastries in NY. Perfect treat for any event. My body is grateful that they are not walking distance!
google avatar

Jacob S.

Yelp
This is absolutely the best bakery in New York! If you are tired of the same old dried out pastries that most coffee shops in the city dole out day in and day out then you have to make the trek up to Inwood to visit Choc NYC. These are by far the most original pastries around, you won't be able to make a choice and will end up leaving with multiple sweet or savory items. While you wait you can watch the master bakers at work in their open kitchen concept. They also make amazing cakes. My favorite pastry is the caramelized croissant, I didn't even know that was a thing. It's basically a traditional French croissant, just as good as the kind in Paris, but caramelized. It's slightly crunchy but soft and fluffy on the inside. Please run, don't walk to ChocNYC. *How has this place not been nominated for a James Beard Award?!

Awilda M.

Yelp
This place is amazing. I cannot express how everything in here is so good and fresh! I have had many of their best croissants and all of them with the dipped in chocolate being the best! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something sweet. Oh and let's not forget their cappuccino! Absolutely amazing!
google avatar

Yelp
I just need to say thank you to the Yelper who got selected for the Review of the Day, for their review of CHOCnyc. I probably would have never found out about this place if it wasn't for them! I took a nice long walk over here yesterday so I could satisfy my sweet tooth and try out this 5-star bakery. CHOCnyc is a small bakery with friendly staff, a pretty big selection of baked goods, and no seating (indoors or outdoors). I suppose you can take your food and drink from here to the park across the street if you want to enjoy it close by. It was pretty overwhelming to any pick a few things to take back home with me, as everything looked and smelled delicious. I chose the caramelized croissant, a lemon bar, and the Pleasure Dome. The caramelized croissant is amazingly good. The inside is flaky and light, while the outside is crunchy and sweet. It's a beautiful combination and comes in a pretty big portion; perfect to share with someone else. The lemon bar was okay. It was packed with lemon flavor, but a bit too sweet for me to handle after just one or two bites. I doubt I'll order it again. The Pleasure Dome was just as it is accurately named: pleasurable!! It's a dome of chocolate filled with chocolate mousse, banana, soft cake, and crunchies on the inside. Its outer edge is surrounded by peanuts, and is topped with a piece of edible gold foil. The dessert is clearly meant for royalty. I could have this every day if I were much more irresponsible. I've read so many good things about their éclairs, muffins, hot chocolate, and slices of cake. I'll make it a mission to try everything on their menu!
google avatar

Joy G.

Yelp
Amazing baked goods, definitely a must-try if you are swinging through Fort Tryon or Inwood Hill Park. When we went on a Saturday afternoon, there was a constant line of customers; quite happy to see a small business doing so well. They have a ton of options, everything from cakes to muffins and cookies. We had a really hard time deciding what to get and ultimately went with the blueberry yogurt, the German chocolate cake, and the CHOC jubilation. Everything was delicious, not too heavy (well, okay, the chocolate cake kind of left me feeling like Bruce in Matilda but that's on me for eating so much of it in one go). Even better than the cakes and pastries is the story behind CHOCnyc. Really encourage you to check out the About page on their website. I'm so impressed by their commitment to employing and sourcing locally, including how the shop itself was built by local contractors. I'll definitely be back to try that epic blueberry muffin.

Yelp
I've always loved and appreciated this place but I recently went to a Dominique Ansel joint and while it was perfectly good I have to say it's got nothing on Inwood's own Choc bakery. Two words: CARAMELIZED CROISSANT.
google avatar

Carlie S.

Yelp
Where do I start with this hidden gem. Well I happen upon this place about 3 year ago or more ( covid warped my time comprehension lol). After leaving Mimosa filled brunch, I was craving some coffee and sweets. Walk about three block and my prayers were answers. Walk into pastry heaven! Between there caramelize croissants, oatmeal cookie, truffles and baguette. Pair with salted caramel latte, I was hooked!
google avatar

Paul H.

Yelp
Thank god for this bakery. I am new to Inwood (yesss, finally living alone) and was feeling bummed because all of my Williamsburg bakeries are no longer accessible to me. I stumbled on this bakery on my way to signing my lease and I'm super happy I did. This bakery rivals all the bakeries I've been to in Brooklyn and then some. Not only are the portions huge but the quality is A class. Buttery, flavorful, and decadent. I'll be a regular here for sure. Cannot wait to try the layer cakes.
google avatar

Rod P.

Yelp
Loved the friendly service. You can see the kitchen and staff working on baked goods. And lastly, great tasting cake. My brother loved it
google avatar

Devin L.

Yelp
Cute and tasty little spot on Broadway in Inwood. I stopped in for a nice cappuccino and a croissant to get me through the morning and they were totally on the mark. I was helped as soon as I walked in. My cappuccino took no time at all and it was delicious. The croissant was lite, flaky and had a delicious buttery taste. Nice little gem in the area. The pastries look amazing as well. Completely dying to try a pistachio eclair.
google avatar

Yelp
If you've been with me for some time now, you'll know about my infatuation with, ChocNYC. Right around the block from the last stop on the A, 207th Street (take 211th exit and it right around the corner!), these guys have been baking delightful chocolate treats. The S'mores they make here have been a massive favorite of mine since. And not to mention the cupcakes, cakes and Ice cream sandwiches and ice cream during the summer! Recently, for my kidneyversary, they made this vanilla cake, nicely topped with big ole chocolate shaped kidney bean. I do my best to support local shops, @chocnyc will always be one. More content. https://www.instagram.com/marcoskicks/?hl=en

Yelp
I believe the review saying "the best pastry shop in the neighborhood, which isn't really saying that much." Based on my experience I wouldn't recommend going out of your way just to come here. I had very very high expectations after reading the reviews, but after making the hour+ trip here I was quite disappointed. The three croissants I've tried were expensive and not great, and the coffee is very average. If bakery were in a more central location this review would be a 2/5. The plain croissant ($3.50) is like a crunchy bread with a very buttery taste. The chocolate croissant ($4.25) is a little better - the chocolate is high quality, but the texture is still very breadlike and buttery and greasy. The caramelized croissant ($4.25) is a smallish kouign amann. Mine didn't have much sugar or caramelization inside, and there were dry patches. I have heard that the more decadent items here are better though, especially the chocolate cherry torte.

Lizzy V.

Yelp
Choc is an absolute Inwood gem. This is my favorite bakery in all of NYC. Every single thing there is to die for. My particular favorites are the pistachio eclair, lemon bar, any croissant or special savory pastry, and also the homemade salted caramel syrup & that I get in a latte. I'm drooling.
google avatar

Yodalis M.

Yelp
You can't go wrong with Choc. Quality, precision, attention to detail and flavor is A++. I have the worst sweet tooth (I specifically have an attachment to chocolate) so Choc is a dangerous place for me. I've managed to contain myself by zeroing in on the savory stuff when I go there (a few times a month!). My favorite items are the the quiche (sold weekends only), savory tarts (varies by season, surprisingly filling), all croissants, chocolate chip cookies and ice cream/gelato in the summer. I am not a coffee drinker so wish they had chai though they do have a small selection of teas. The staff is sweet. Watching them work on on their craft is a treat. They used to have indoor seating but covid has taken that away. I have fond memories gathering with a small group of friends here and hope the chairs will come back at some point. Thank you Choc for making Uptown your home.
google avatar

Prashant R.

Yelp
They have the best bakery items in the Bronx. We love all the items and are of very high quality. The Chef seems to not compromise with quality. The staffs are super friendly and wonderful atmosphere.

Anne C.

Yelp
Best red velvet chocolate cake w cream cheese frosting ever. Everything about this delicious cake was perfectly balanced: flavor, consistency, moisture, sweetness. Our party guest ate their entire piece of cake served too then. (Sometimes people eat around the icing bc it's too sweet.) The service was outstanding. Can't wait to return for all of my bakery needs.
google avatar

Angelica C.

Yelp
Worth the trip if you like chocolate stop what you're doing a go; their chocolate croissant is scrumptious

Yelp
Me & my bf had a sweet craving after lunch so decided to stop inside we were able to get seating as the place is not so big. What we ordered came out to be around $30 lol however let me tell you what we ordered. 1. Triple-Triple cookie- 2.Pleasuredome 3.SPICED PUMPKIN CAKE 4.APPLE CRUMB TART 5. Black coffee 6.Hot chocolate ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Everything was delicious I think my Fav would be the pleasure dome Although it was more than what i usually pay for pastries its not like any of the pastries I've tasted quality is good & different so i'm glad they are right by my neighborhood & service is very good and welcoming I love the traditional white chef uniform.
google avatar

Yelp
Loved it! Nice atmosphere, awesome staff, good food and an AMAZING chocolate martini. I look forward to returning!

Yelp
Everything in this bakery is amazingly delicious! Plus - the smell alone is enough to draw you in. The service was courteous and fast.

Yelp
Lovely goodies and lovely staff. The chocolate cakes are varied and delicious. Imagine chocolate croissants they are here, hand dipped. The iced chocolate cherry liqueur cakes are to die for. I only wish they also had some lighter sweets.

Yelp
BEST. BAKERY. IN THE HEIGHTS (and my favorite bakery north of Columbia). I've gone here 5 times in the past 2 months, and each time the pastries hit the spot! My go-to order is the mixed berry flakey pastry, white chocolate biscotti, caramelized chocolate dipped croissant and the cold brew black tea. I get enough to share and every person I've brought with me ( I've gone with 4ppl so far) to this gem has fallen in love. The service is wonderful and Brad, one of the owners, is such a kind soul and pleasure to chat with. This establishment has quickly become my favorite Saturday treat for me and the fam. 10/10 would recommend!
google avatar

Shirley N.

Yelp
Desserts were delicious! The cashier person was nice but not very helpful. Our cashier did not include forks or spoons in our takeout bag. It would be helpful if he did. We had to eat our desserts later. Thankfully, we didn't order a pastry or cake that was perishable and needed to be eaten right away as we had no silverware.
google avatar

Jules P.

Yelp
Good lord these sweet treats are SO good! Every time I walk into this place I salivate because the smell is divine. The pistachio eclair is off the charts, and really every single item is a party in your mouth. I also really love their coffee, whatever brand they use is strong and delicious, a must-have for me!
google avatar

Paige P.

Yelp
The pastry's are unbelievable. I recommend the pistachio eclair. Always quick service and the cutest little spot. A MUST VISIT in NYC.

Monika D.

Yelp
It was our first time coming to this bakery and it definitely won't be our last! First of all, due to COVID there is a sign on the door that only 5 customers can enter at most, all staff is wearing masks including those preparing cakes in the back. One person took our order, another placed them in bags/boxes and a different person dealt with the payment, which meant no one used their gloves to touch both food and money (which I have seen in other places). Everything was super organized, clean and everyone was very pleasant. The hardest part was choosing what items to get! I saw their Instagram which showed there were fresh baguettes made at noon so I was sure to grab one ($3.50) and I love pecan sticky buns and saw some Yelp reviews saying they were good so made sure to order one- it was the last one there so I know that is a good sign (I believe it was $4.25) and then I made sure to order the Jubilation chocolate cake which I heard is one of their most popular ($6.50 or so). Their website seems up to date with current items and prices. We tried it all at home and hands down I will get the sourdough baguette again! It was so fresh and delicious. The pecan bun was amazing and I warmed it up at home in the toaster oven. The Jubilation cake was good as well, although the frosting was slightly more sweet than I am used to. I can't wait to come back and try the German chocolate cake, lemon bars and basically everything else there!

Yelp
Going in there the smell is invigorating! It reminds me of a Italian bakery that use to be on the same side of Good shepherd church when I was little. It's just Buttery doughy and sweetness baking in that little shop. Just the aroma that emanates from the shop and intensifies when someone enters or exits the shop

Yelp
I'm on a mission to try everything on their menu. This place is AMAZING. They have a great selection and I love ALL their savory stuff. Today I tried the rosemary and olive focaccia and the salted caramel latte for the first time. Wow so good, I wasn't planning to write a review but 1/2 way through my breakfast I decided I'd have to share this with you guys.

Yelp
This place not only makes the best salted caramel latte I've had, this side of Manhattan, their savory biscuits and croissants are absolutely divine!! Of course, they are known for their desserts, but you really must try their savory goods. You won't be disappointed. Oh, and the pleasure dome is truly that - Need to take more photos before I dig in!
