The recent renovation has completely elevated this restaurant! The new owners have done a fantastic job refreshing the space—it’s warm, welcoming, and beautifully updated without losing its original charm. Even better, the food and service are just as good, if not better, than before. Every dish we had was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout our visit, Mike was great! It’s wonderful to see a local favorite not only preserved but taken to the next level. Highly recommend checking it out!

Choice City is the BEST dining experience we’ve had in Fort Collins. The pork shank was fall-off-the-bone tender, the mashed potatoes were creamy, and every dish, including the NY strip, was packed with flavor. Our group of eight had cocktails, wine, apps, entrées, and dessert, and everything was incredible. This was our fourth visit to Choice City, and it is exceptional every single time! Our server was next level. They all have a gift for hospitality and make us feel right at home. We had the most delicious cocktails — they offer a great variety, and their wine list is both well-curated and special. Cab franc? Yes, please. And the gluten-free bananas foster cheesecake? Unreal. One of the best desserts I’ve ever had. We’ve tried them all, and Choice City is hands down the best restaurant in Fort Collins. Highly, highly recommend!

Choice city was an amazing experience! The atmosphere is upscale and makes you feel like you’re in a fancy city. First off, the popcorn! Oh my goodness. It’s sweet, salty, with a tangy kick! I could eat an entire bucket! Then we ordered Collins curds as an appetizer and let me tell you, YOU NEED TO ORDER THESE! Your taste buds will explode with flavor. We had amazing drinks and an amazing burger and will definitely be back and spread the word ❤️

The newly remodeled Choice City looks incredible and the new ownership has really brought fresh energy to the place. The space feels more welcoming and modern while still keeping that local charm we’ve always loved. The food is delicious and the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. You can tell they’ve put a lot of care into every detail, from the layout to the new menu. Easily one of the best small restaurants in Fort Collins—highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t been in a while!

Lovely evening! We went here for a Friday night couples evening and everything was just perfect. Great cocktails and mocktails! Appetizers looked like artwork and the entrees were delicious. No room for dessert! 😂 Our favorites were the prosciutto appetizer and the hamburger. Yes.... The hamburger itself was just amazing. Not like any other I've had. So tender and beefy! As far as the service goes.... The staff spoiled us!

The house made veggie burger was amazing! The service was top notch, we felt so welcomed. The fries and mashed potato were also delicious. The surprise stand out was the rose cardamom cake. Highly recommend!

WOW! My family and I were blown away, what a gem in the heart of town. I cannot believe how beautiful this experience was. We had been to choice city before when it was a butcher shop and it was good. The place had a very grimy bar feel to it. It was never a spot we would go before, especially not for a joyous occasion. But I must say the last night the whole vibe changed. We heard the buzz around town that old butcher has closed and now there’s a new “choice city” in town. So we decided to come check it out. I’m so glad that we didi! We came for dinner since the place before was only open for lunch and sure you can get a good sandwich anywhere but dinner is always something special. Jordan was our server, she was super kind and thoughtful. We started with the beef croquettes, my husband had the fillet and I had the pork shank. We also tried their cocktails to start and an excellent bottle of a red with our dinner. The food was outstanding. I am already dreaming out coming back. The meat was succulent and melted in my mouth. Alpenglow & amore cocktail was the perfect end to the night with a smoky salted brownie. The manager checked on us personally ( I mean how often does that happen anymore) and he was a delight! I think everyone who worked there stopped by at our table to smile and check on us. I mean the service might had been some of the best we have ever had and we are foodie snobs that live at restaurants all over Colorado! All in 10/10 deserved by Choice city! I am thrilled this place sold and the new ownership has a phenomenal sense of hospitality. Clearly they care and know what they are doing. We will for sure be regulars now that it’s a whole new space. Clean, delicious and mention worthy!

New owners are wonderful! They’ve made the place sparkle and kept the charm of the old place. Staff is kind and helpful and food is DELICIOUS!! The blondie brownie is something of my dreams! 😍 I’ll definitely be going back!

Choice City is back!! And we will be going back! We went on a Saturday evening and we were pleasantly surprised with the new renovation and new menu! We both had the beef filet and sides! I can honestly say it rivaled the old Choice City Butcher! The filet was done to our liking and was very tender! We both had the wine demi-glaze sauce with it-excellent! Nice ambiance and music with great service! Keep up the great work! We will be back.

Great ambiance and friendly helpful staff. I was just there for drinks and apps but will be coming back for lunch and dinner. The chili-glazed cheese curds and mocktails were inventive and delicious.

Really enjoyed the veggie sandwich I had here. The ingredients were fresh and I appreciated how toasted the bread was. The addition of a red pepper pesto was recommended to me and I'm glad I agreed as it rounded out the sandwich nicely. Would recommend if you're looking for a quick and satisfying lunch.

We've been long time patrons of Choice City and couldn't be more impressed with the remodel and new menu. THEY DID NOT MISS!! A must try, in Fort Collins. We had the filet and caprese burger on the dinner menu. The meat was cooked to perfection, and the homemade sauce added the perfect zhuzh! A locally owned gem. Go Rams!

Great service and food. The food has great flavor. Prices are very reasonable. Parking is a little hard to figure out but just have patience.

Wow. Everything was a 10/10. Food, service, ambience. We had a group of 12 during CSU graduation and Choice City far exceeded our expectations. We had everything from appetizers, salads, and mains. Plus after dinner drinks and dessert. The Pork Shank was outstanding as was the filet. For drinks we had several of their craft drinks, wine, mixed drinks, and ice tea. The Mule was a favorite! For a special occasion dinner the price point was excellent. The service was maybe the best I've ever encountered. We were waited on by the owner and she was the most kind and gracious host. We sat on the patio and it was a beautiful evening. Or age group ranged from college age to 80 years young. A meal to remember.

We had others recommend we try this place. We were in the area and decided to pop in for an early dinner. We were in before their snazzy dinner service and chose from their all day menu. Ordering takes place at the counter. The person helping us was pleasant. We ordered our food and beverages then picked out a spot to sit. We were both in the mood for hot sandwiches. My husband got the BLT. He was intrigued because it mentioned horseradish sauce in the description. I saw they had a hot Italian sandwich and was sold. They weren't very busy at the time of day we were in so it did not take long. The BLT was a tasty choice according to my hubby. I had a bite of the bacon and it was wonderful. When is bacon not wonderful?? My hot Italian was full of flavors. It had all the usual subjects: capicola, ham, salami, and provolone. Then a burst of fresh with lettuce, tomato, onion and banana peppers. It hit the spot. For beverages I had ordered their nitro selection however the person helping us was not aware that keg had kicked. I made another selection Fremont Lush IPA. This went well with my sandwich. My husband was excited because they had Chimay on tap. He loves Belgian beers. It may be that this beer had not been ordered in some time or some other circumstance but it had a stale flavor as if it had been sitting in the line for a while. He could not finish it and opted for water instead. Overall the experience was good. Hope to return.

Well, this place is super lame now. Not only did they remodel it for the boujee Sunday brunch crowd, but they totally ruined their menu and no longer have ANY beers on draft. Instead they now have a gaudy cocktail bar. I ordered the Cubano thinking they wouldn't have changed a classic sandwich like that, right?? I was wrong. When the server put it down in front of me I thought they had served me a burger by mistake but no, this was their NEW Cubano and it was terrible. Not only was the mustard way too hot for human consumption but the pork was cubed instead of pulled and it was served on a damn ciabatta bread. It's really sad to see this place go this way. I'm glad I got to experience it prior to the remodel because I will not be back.

Such a great experience at Choice City! Great atmosphere and delicious cocktails. They are also vegetarian friendly. We wanted the prosciutto burrata and they suggested a prosciutto alternative of arugula which was delicious. The owner, I think, or GM, Lovie or Lovey (or I am completely mis-spelling!!) was incredibly nice and came up and chatted to us for awhile, as were the servers. I can't remember the young gentleman working there this evening, but he chatted with us and gave us great recs for cocktail bars. :) Definitely go for a nice date night or fun night for some great cocktails with friends!!

Choice City is amazing! I can't recommend it enough. We were just walking around when we found it and had to go in. The whole feel of th place is so warm and inviting. We got cocktails and the bartender Lavi was incredible! She made each of us a cocktail based on us and they were perfect. The food was incredible. We will be regulars from now on. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. If you haven't been here check it out!

I thought I would try out choice city. I have been hearing good things. At first glance the restaurant is beautifully decorated. We were immediately greeted and taken to our seats. The menu was full of variety for a small menu. We had the short rib croquettes and cheese curds for appetizers. DELICIOUS!!!! For dinner some our party had the mushroom burgers they ranted and raved about how delicious they were. So delicious they would not share. I had the New York strip and mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked to perfection it was juicy and delicious. I would recommend everyone in Ft Collins checks it out. Great service from super friendly staff. Perfectly prepared food.

Food was good, however, if you like the idea of a pool of servers fighting for your table and giving you very little time to have a conversation of any depth due to the constant interruptions, then this may be a place for you. We literally didn't get a chance to talk until 20 minutes after we got seated. When we asked why this happened (2 servers competing for giving us water, taking a drink order, main meal order and at least 3 or 4 more times asking how we're doing (each) - we were told that is because they have a pool of servers. So it can happen again... no thank you! And their wine prices per glass are very expensive. Not going to do this to ourselves again! We were interrupted one more time at the end with a male server who may have a management position taking up more of our time trying to explain about the "pool" system and on and on and then shared that they were most likely going to meet and talk about this. I only wish I could go to their meeting and interrupt them every min for about 20 minutes!

Choice City Cafe is a new reincarnation of Choice City Butcher. The Boss Lady, Lavee (sp?), has remodeled, created a new menu, and hired a wonderful staff! She is a rock star! It's a beautiful, casual room. We have only tried the lunch menu. The salads and sandwiches were very good. The drink menu was interesting, lots of alcohol and non-alcoholic creations. Our server, Hazie, was friendly and efficient. There is a separate dinner menu. We will be back! Check it out!

Used to be my favorite spot in town for a great Sandwich. The Rueben was delicious, piled high with perfect proportions of ingredients. Then everything changed with the recent remodel. It went from a cozy spot that was somewhat pricey but well worth it, to a sterile, characterless place that was even more pricey but worse quality. They cut the menu in half, cut the portion size in half, meanwhile increased the prices by at least a dollar for everything on the menu. A Diet Coke was 4 dollars, from a soda fountain. Service was alright but the trend of ordering at a counter and being asked for a 15% tip is getting ridiculous. Owners need to stop with this and pay their workers, not shift the responsibility to the patrons in the form of a tip. It's disappointing as this was my go to spot for a good sandwich and beer, now I do not think I will return.

We have been waiting for the new version of Choice City to open and we dined there Friday, May 30th. What a difference from the old Choice City Butchers! Interior is completely redone and done well. The menu still has "your Burgers" but also features some very enticing main entrees. The bar and wine menu has some very interesting drink suggestions and the owner is ready to make any cocktail of your choice...hint "Lemon Drop Martini." The wine list is not that big but there are also wines available that are not on the menu. Ask the server or owner for a suggestion for a wine pairing. We had the Cab Franc, listed on the menu, and it was marvelous. Now, to the food..we shared the Proscuito Barrata appetizer - delicious (three pieces) and we both had the Pork Shank entree with mashed potatoes and either the Tamarind Carrots or the Broccolini. Both sides were excellent but the Pork Shank was incredible! They offer a couple of different steak choices and a vegetarian option, as well. This is a hidden gem! We met the new owner and she is dedicated to making this your go-to restaurant. As before, they are open for lunch with burgers and sandwiches and a large beer menu. Go there - EAT!

Love Choice City! The food, service and atmosphere is awesome a great place for patio seating and dinner dining. Even the kids loved it!

We came to Fort Collins with 12 family members to celebrate my cousin's graduation, without a reservation and expecting to be turned away. Instead, the owner personally welcomed us, found us a table, and waited on us herself. She brought out several incredible dishes for free and treated us like family. Her generosity and the amazing food made it an unforgettable night we'll always remember.

Came here for lunch while visiting Fort Collins and my friends and I all got sandwiches and they were so good! I opted for the Cubano and it was delicious. Really filling sandwich and a great mixture of ingredients. My friend had the Philly dip and it was also very good. We opted for some beer on tap and wine and it made for a great afternoon. Workers were really friendly, and the place had a nice vibe to it. Would be back if in the area.

Best sandwiches and beer selection around! I've been here several times for lunch and every time they impress. They truly care about quality meats, service, and beer. The burgers are some of the best anywhere and the sandwiches are always amazing. I'm a huge beer guy and the line of taps they get here is seriously impressive. The rare beer options leave you with a great beer to pair with whatever you are having. My favorite sandwich is the Philly and I dream about this sandwich for a few days after I get it each time. The wait can sometimes be a little long if you are here when it is busy, but you won't be disappointed. Just get a beer to drink while you wait! I was recently here for one of their famous Beer Dinners and that was so fun! I didn't love all the food courses, but it was still so fun to try different beers and have interesting food prepared by some of the talented people we have in the area. I will be planning to attend another one soon and so should you!

My partner and I stopped by recently and discovered Choice City has reopened and is under new ownership! It definitely has a different vibe, but never fear! The food is as delicious as ever, the space is beautifully decorated, and the new owner and her employees go above and beyond to provide amazing and genuine service. Try it out and see for yourself!

Wonderful! Delicious sandwiches, burgers, and sides. The cake was delicious. Huge improvement over previous decor-very comfortable decor inside and nice outdoor seating as well.

Unfortunately the food is so incredibly good I won't want to eat anywhere else! My husband's words"The new owner hit a home run, this food is insane" - amazing staff, beautifully remodeled, and the owner is so welcoming. And to anyone criticizing because it is not the same Choice City - they are correct, it is 200x better. Cant wait to come back.

Best deli in town. Really gives that bigger city vibe... but has small town employees and feels friendly. Lots of beer. And whiskeys. Both Reubens - Turkey and Regular. Gluten free bread available and it's pretty good!! Their burgers I would highly recommend. They know breads. They know pickles. Choice City knows good food and knows our town.

The remodel is amazing! So classy! Food is so fresh and delicious! Service is amazing! Their popcorn is the bomb!

What happened!! The Philly cheese steak sandwich is gone? No more aju? No more gluten free sandwich rolls? The ambience is ruined. There is brass vases and velvet chairs? The restaurant went from having a wonderful environment, amazing music, and character. Come enjoy if you went crappy music, OVERLY boujee atmosphere, and a small expensive meal. Not to mention for steak it is an extra 3 dollars now! This was my family's favorite place in Fort Collins. Super disappointed!! Old choice city come back!

I have eaten here twice and both times the main part of my meal was spectacular, a Reuben the first time and the Black and Blue burger the second. Service was good also. This is not getting five stars because both times I've ordered the potato salad as my side and both times it's been weird. I didn't hate it but I didn't like it. Not sure what's going on with the potato salad there, but I wish it was better.

We came into Choice City the day they reopened. The sandwiches are even better than they used to be if you could believe that! We came back again last night for a friend's birthday dinner. Again the food was great. I highly recommend the pork shank and the prosciutto appetizer. Great service and ambience as well. Highly recommend!

I loved my Rueben but the others got a burger that was to be medium but it was raw, we had to send it back. After that the burger was good.

Dynamite sandwich. Quickly made and the beer was cold. Who could ask for anything more on a 90 degree day?

Wednesday night is date night for us and we go to Choice City for their BOGO burgers. For those who imbibe, the appear to have a great beer selection but I love their house made root beer.

The food was alright, we got 4 burgers and it ended up being around 100$. for the price there is definitely better food for a lot cheaper. the menu also did not have very many options at all. the service wasn't very good at all. we waited around an hour for our food to be made. and the employees were pretty rude. the ambiance of the place was like being at a garage party. it was also very cold in the place. but it was decorated pretty cool. overall i would not recommend.

You must try this place. It's a butcher shop and a restaurant, and they serve craft beer. There is an extensive offering of local exotic meats depending on the season (from elk to snake).

I left Fort Collins ten years ago and am back in town for a week. One of my first stops was Choice City Butcher and Deli. When I left, it was a superb shop, overflowing with high quality, well curated meats and delicious sandwiches. Very sadly, this is no longer the case. I paid nearly $20 for a perfectly mediocre burger. Not bad, exactly, but the kind of burger you can get anywhere, and for less money. I suspect the last pandemic claimed yet another victim. Despite the name, Choice City is no longer a butcher; it's been reduced to just another average sandwich shop. The service is still great, The shop itself is beautiful and welcoming, and the beer selection remains excellent. But the food is a massive disappointment. I'm gutted. Choice City Butcher and Deli was my favorite spot in the city, and now I realize I'll never want to return.

Choice city is a staple in our household and a hidden gem in old town. We love coming here for a casual lunch, boozy brunch, or date night. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu but we love the black & blue burger and the classic burger. The staff is always super welcoming and attentive. We have never had a bad experience here and recommend it to anyone visiting Fort Collins. You can tell the owners really put their heart into this place!

The food was fairly good here but definitely had better. We came here for breakfast, however their lunch and dinner is probably even better, so ive heard. In my opinion the meat should've been marinaded in the gravy so that all the fats render into the sauce. Overall I had a decent experience. I wish the customer service was a bit better but im happy we tried this place. Pros: -Fair amount of food -Good amount of options to pick from Cons: -Fairly pricey -Wish the waiter checked in on us more so that we know how to pay or order -Seated ourselves -Waiter closed the wrong account so we paid for someone elses meal but he caught that mistake before we left Tips: -You refill your own water at the station next to the door you enter -Order at the table, waiter should come to give you the check

Hit or miss. Quality is always great, but my order isn't right about 50% of the time. I don't like to cause a fuss, so I after about the third time it happened, I just started to always eat whatever I got, but wanted to give a heads up to those that are more sensible to that. Example: Today I ordered a patty melt with an impossible burger instead of a patty. I got a meat patty and my onions weren't caramelized like the menu specifies. I don't really eat much meat, but ate it anyways because I was so hungry and didn't want to bother for a remake. It was still good, just not what I ordered which was a bit of a bummer. I'll still eat here when my friends want to because whatever I end up getting is always good, I just don't get my hopes up my food will be 100% what I actually ordered.

Wow! Stumbled upon this deli - the people are so friendly and the food is AMAZING! Can't wait to come back to try the famous burgers!

If you haven't been here, now is your time to go! Right in the heart of Old Town with great seating. I cannot begin to rave about how delicious and how fresh everything here was. My only regret is not coming sooner! They have an exceptional menu, and I truly do not think you can go wrong with any of their choices. Had some family come into town and this was one of the places I had to take them to. The corned beef hash came with a very generous amount of hash that sat on top of two potato cakes. The hash was very fresh, but the potato cakes somehow stole the show! I could have eaten 10 of them alone. The order did not come with bread, but the waiter was kind enough to add some for free to my order. Just keep that in mind if you do order this. The duck Benedict was phenomenal. Duck for breakfast? Don't even question it! Steak and eggs of course are a staple. They cooked the steak perfectly too! We ordered a few other items that i unfortunately did not get the chance to snap any pictures of, but i can guarantee that it was all very delicious. I will be coming back here to eat again!

Went to Choice City Butcher & Deli for lunch when we were on vacation in Fort Collins. We tried the hot Italian sandwich and Philly Dip and both were very good, the Philly was probably the best I've ever had! Service was very good. The place was quite busy on a Thursday around 1pm so be prepared to wait, but the wait is definitely worth it.

Choice City is a good place to go for good sandwiches and yummy burgers!! My husband is in love with The Choice City Burger. My BLT was really great! Always unique beers on tap! Family friendly and a great place to take out of town guest for lunch!
