Chuko Ramen LaGuardia Review - LaGuardia Airport - New York - The Infatuation

"The Poppy’s space converts into Chuko Ramen for lunch at 10:30am. And if you’re there when the switch happens, you’ll get to watch the marquee and menu displays all flip and rotate like an old-timey destination board. Chuko is one of our favorite ramen spots in all of New York City, so naturally, the LGA counterpart is a solid option. A bowl of classic sesame garlic is always a good decision, but they also have great handrolls if you don’t want to commit to slurping broth in an airport." - Anne Cruz

A really cute food court but definitely overpriced. This simple, small portion food court quality ramen was $15 and change. Soup was very salty but the noodles were great. Each side is $1.5 so if you want a decent ramen with your egg and pork belly it’ll be well over $20 for a food court food.

Good ramen, I like the style of the menu where you order a base and then choose your extras, but it's also very expensive for ramen. $14 for just your base broth, ingredients, and noodles with no meat included, meanwhile you can get ramen with meat and egg in it for much less elsewhere. So the customozation and selection was awesome but it came out very pricey in the end. $160 out the door for 2 wings, 5 ramen dishes, 3 drinks. Servers were attentive and kind. Every time we had a phone out to take a group photo the nearest waiter came over immediately to take the photo for us. The atmosphere was great, some ramen places only have the bar, but Chuko had tables to accommodate larger groups which made the meal better.

Such a rip off!! I ordered to go from here and legit it was $15 for a bowl a ramen for nothing but noodles and 2 ingredients (bamboo and scallions for the soy ramen which I got) you want anything else in the bowl it’s $1.50-$2 extra so a basic ramen (with pork, egg, nori) suddenly becomes $20. That’s outrageously expensive for a bowl of ramen and it’s not even that good. Not to mention $6 for a single bao bun, everything’s so overpriced. Also what’s misleading is all the pictures on Caviar shows most of the ramens with soft eggs and in the ingredients list it says all bowls contain wheat and eggs. Anyway this place is overly priced and not even that good so save your money for some real decent ramen.

Solid ramen place hidden away from the neighborhood in the food hall! Loved sitting behind the flags and escaping into the charm of the little ramen booth. I have had both the spicy miso and the ginger sesame ramen bowls, and highly recommend them both. The flavor of the broth was especially good, really good depth of flavor.

Great veggie broth! Garlic chili has a kick but not too much. Good bowl of ramen for where it’s coming from this nook. Left satisfied and not too heavy and down for the rest of the day

Ramen lovers, go your way. The most expensive and stingy ingredients I’ve ever tested. If you like industrial noodles, go buying cup noodles, it’s cheaper. a scam !

Used to be decent for Wburg. Last experience the broth tasted like tepid dishwater.
