"Ciao opened in Chelsea in 2015, and like its crust, has quickly risen to the top of Boston’s pizza echelon for outstanding wood-fired, Neapolitan-style pizza. It’s a tiny storefront, but there’s a bit of counter seating inside and a few seats outdoors in warmer seasons. Try a Nutella pizza for dessert because why not?" - Nathan Tavares, Tommy Ranucci, Eater Staff

"Since it’s hidden in the shadow of Tobin Bridge in Chelsea, Ciao wins the award for the best Boston pizzeria you probably haven’t heard about. If this place were in the North End, though, there would be a line of golf-shirt-wearing tourists from Ohio outside it every day at noon. The crust is chewy and soft, and it comes out of the wood-fired oven really quickly. The best option is the ‘nduja pie, with that spreadable spicy pork sausage, squash puree, shallots, gorgonzola, and mozzarella." - tanya edwards

Google
Food is fantastic. Not many places here in Massachusetts to get an authentic Neapolitan pizza. This was very good. The sauce was absolutely fantastic, super fresh and rich with flavor, the mozzarella was also very good. Very rich. It’s a Must try. As many fresh Neapolitan pizzas you gotta eat them fresh. The pasta was fresh and the beef was cooked perfectly. The flavor of the wine with the beef was absolutely a star with this dish. Highly recommend that dish. The fresh cannoli was the perfect way to end.

Google
One of the best pies I have had in a while. Reminds me of Pizza in Naples. The crust is perfectly cooked with right amount wood oven char. The ingredients are fresh simple and delicious. This place uses real olive oil and what seems to be hand picked meats. One pie is enough to share. Hard to find places like this anymore. Loved it!

Google
Pizza is great, definitely the best I've had in greater Boston. The place was a bit hard to find and doesn't look fancy at all, but so well worth a visit!

Eric Eakin

Google
Incredible flavors with fresh ingredients and the dough is amazing - light & fluffy with a crispy undercarriage if you ask for a slightly longer cook. The people working there are wicked awesome!

Google
You can TASTE the love!!! 20/10 on ALL of the dishes we got!! (Funghi pizza, pollo arrosto panino, and gnocchetti) We were greeted with a huge smile and warm welcome from the start!! The food came out super fast and the staff was so kind!! I would DEFINITELY recommend, and will be returning!! (Food for 3 was about $75 after tips!!)

Karyn Colella

Google
What a terrific find! So authentic and fresh! The pasta is hand-crafted, and the sauces are so light and fresh, more brothy than heavy tomato sauce. And don't forget to try the tirramisu which is made in Milan! 😋

Google
Very authentic Neapolitan pizza. Happy to have a place like this in Boston. We made the decision to go one day before Valentine’s, probably a good idea since they have limited seating. Definitely plan your visits if you want to go on busy days. The staff is also really friendly and knowledgeable, we struck up a nice conversation with one of them about Italy.

Google
Pick this place on a whim and we were really impressed. The pizza was excellent. The crust was very tasty with just the right amount of chew. The pasta that we got as an extra plate was unnecessary but we finished it anyway! The parking lot is small but serviceable they do share it with a few other businesses. The seating is all outside except for some counter spots. Food was ready on time and they made the cannoli right in front of me! Stoked we found this place would go again and again!

Yelp
We came here to kill time before catching a flight @BOS (10 minutes away) and could not believe how good this place is! It's tiny and easy to miss (there's a tree blocking the sign over the door) but it's worth searching out. Amazing wood fired pizza, reasonably priced, and the service could not have been better. Definitely will be on our itinerary the next time we fly out of Boston!

Yelp
"I am visiting the Pizza and Pasta Gods ". Don't sleep on the Cannolis they give Mikes Pastry a bad name . How exactly , I look forward to Sundays here. They don't disappoint. 'My tastebuds are sent on an adventure, to optical Nirvana . We dined in and had the "Di Parma Pizza" the picture is below . My friend ordered the "Carbonara Spaghetti" , the picture is below . He didn't speak its whole consumption . I can say on his behalf he found it delicious. Today I Officially ordered every pizza on the menu . Please visit my google review on the 9x pizzas we took home for our Labor Day festivities . Our waiter Alessandro was magnificent. The " CHIPS " they make in house , amazing . The cannolis are good , don't sleep on those . They have a parking lot with plenty of parking . If not they also have street meter parking. The prices are good for the quality, freshness and portion size . The vibe is welcoming , authentic, and fun . The music makes the place more fun .

Yelp
Parking Small parking lot of five spots available Seating Small bar top table inside, outdoor seating available Service Incredible, staff were so nice and welcoming! Food Absolutely delicious: Margherita and Sopressata pizza 9.2/10 Spaghetti Scampi w/ extra order of shrimp 8.8/10 Ambiance Relaxed outdoor seating with great music - next to busy road - totally worth the food especially when parking is available. I couldn't be happier with the service and food - thank you for having us!

Yelp
Awesome. I drove by this location hundreds of times and never stopped in until I read the "Yelp Best In.."designation and saw the award recognization outside. Since that time I'm in at least once a month and I live part time in Las Vegas. The plain cheese pizza is certainly one of the best I've had in the country. It's light, crispy and very flavorful. It's cooked in an old school Neapolitan wood fire oven. I've also had each of the topping options - all excellent. I don't have a favorite because each of my go to dishes is exceptionally awesome. The Prima Vera is popping and exploding with fresh flavor. The SPAGHETTI CARBONARA comes with the raw egg on top. The Black Truffle pasta is rich and lip smacking good. Seating is limited but I've never had a problem. Outside sidewalk seating is available in the summer.

Renee H.

Yelp
They genuinely deserve 5 stars. Previously gave it 4 based on location. This place is truly a gem, not just in Chelsea but in MA.

Jose B.

Yelp
Easy five stars plus. The owner and the waiter were super kind and available, the pizza was the best I've had in Boston, the dough was soft and chewy the sauce quenched my pizza thirst and the mozzarella fuggidaboutit super duper good and tasty. Now let's talk about that home made sausage omg too good all that fennel that you rarely perceive in most pizzerias awesome. The ingredients in this Salsiccia pie complemented each other perfectly kudos to the chef. I shall return. Edson you guys Rock!

Yelp
This place is not near downtown Boston, but it's somewhere that you should check out if you have the opportunity to do so! We went here on the recommendation of a family member who lives in Boston. The place is small. Not many places for seating, but thankfully, we got here when there wasn't anyone here. The server was nice and told us the popular dishes. The mushroom pizza, the margherita pizza, and the short rib pasta dish. We also got a salad because well... gotta eat healthy, right?? Anyways, the pizza was delicious! The ingredients were top notch and the flavors were excellent! Can't say which one I liked more because they're both so different. The pasta dish was rich and hearty. Nice depth of flavor and the short ribs were tender. Price is moderately priced. Think of a fancy pizza place. Around $20 ish per pizza with the pasta being closer to $25. However, this place is worth checking out if you love Neapolitan style pizza. Cheers!

Rachel M.

Yelp
Hole in the wall restaurant with out of this world food! Staff was so friendly and helpful. You can tell this is a neighborhood spot. The gnochetti had so much short rib it was delicious and even better the next day. The dog prosciutto pizza was a great combination of salty and sweet. Four stars for the very minimal seating that was primarily outdoors. Tables and chairs were definitely old and a little wobbly but food made up for the lack of frills!

Sean W.

Yelp
Definitely the best pizza we had in Boston. I mean the crust, sauce, toppings everything was fresh and delicious. The manager met us at the door and sat us down, got us some drinks, and even stayed for a bit to just chat. In the outside area they definitely have a mosquito problem because my arm and neck were TORE up. Still don't let that be a reason you don't stop at this shop. I see why they have been voted best pizza in Boston!

Zeinab G.

Yelp
Everything was delish at this restaurant! Our waiter was intelligent about the menu and was quick to serves us. He even treated us to a few cannolis! Loved the ambiance, not pretentious but quaint!

Pete D.

Yelp
Really tasty pizza. Dough was delicious as well as the toppings on the funghi. Mostly a takeout restaurant and pizza was made quickly (15 mins). Parking lot is small, but there was parking available when I picked up my food. If you're looking for super crispy / burnt pizza, this may not be your place. Dough was cooked perfectly but I would describe it as soft vs crunchy/well done.

Dody E.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic homemade pizza and pasta. It's a must try if you're in Boston! Believe the hype. Go. Now.

Linda E.

Yelp
Wait staff was great. Food pizza and arugula pear salad is excellent. Definitely recommend

Jennifer R.

Yelp
My partner and I had a great time when we visited on Friday. We have been here plenty of times and never fail to have a great time and enjoy our meals. I had the shrimp scampi, and my partner the Campanella, accompanied by sangria and an Allagash. The flavors of my scampi were perfect, with a delicious blend that pleased every corner of my mouth. The owner was attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place for pizza and pasta lovers! Lastly for dessert, the owner brought over cannolis and wow! They were so good. The filing was very creamy and tasty. I'm not sure if they are on the menu, but definitely try the cannolis. Our total was roughly ~$60.00 *For parking we parked at a meter near by, but they do have a small lot. *We stopped by around 1pm- there was no wait time and wasn't busy.

Ray A.

Yelp
Great food, excellent service! The location is quite small and parking could be an issue. Overall, this place is a gem!!!

Robert M.

Yelp
I flew in from Chicago a week ago and drove straight here (based on what I'd read). Sat inside and watched the cooks do their thing while chatting with the lovely and extremely friendly woman working the counter. She was great and the pizza was absolutely outstanding. Simple and delicious. As good a (crumble) sausage as I have ever had anywhere. Can't wait to come back! 5 BIG STARS!

Kasey H.

Yelp
We've eaten a lot of pizza around the city over the last few years. Since discovering this restaurant, it has quickly become one of our favorites! Great for a casual weekday dinner or when you're just craving some quality, fresh pizza and pasta. We've dined here multiple times and are slowly working our way through the whole menu. First of all, the pizzas here are excellent. They have wood-fired pizzas with traditional flavors (such as Margherita) and creative flavors as well. Our favorites so far have been the Funghi, with mushrooms, ricotta, and truffle oil so savory that I didn't mind the lack of meat, and the Salsiccia, which had the perfect spicy kick from fennel sausage and cherry peppers. The dough is always crispy, aromatic, and chewy in the best way possible. I personally like to dip the pizza crust in their pasta sauce. For pasta, we've tried the Carbonara, Fettuccine, Campanelle, and Gnocchetti. The Gnocchetti has been our favorite, with rich red wine braised short ribs and parmesan wonderfully mixed together. Great for those who like creamier, more decadent pastas. The Campanelle comes in close second, with an al dente texture to the noodles that the bolognese sauce coats perfectly. This place is small, they don't take reservations, and there's limited parking, but it's definitely worth dining in for. Customer service is great, the staff are friendly and fun, and nothing beats fresh pizza straight from the oven. Hands down deserving of 5 stars.

Katie E.

Yelp
The reviews don't lie - this place is 100% as good as everyone says. It's a bit of a hike outside the city, and it doesn't deliver (even on any apps) or take reservations, but it's well worth the trip to Chelsea. The place is pretty small, but there's seating available and it's never been super crowded when I stop by on the weekends. I've tried both the pizza and pasta from here and both are sooo delicious. The pastas are a bit more traditional while the specialty pizzas can get pretty creative. The pizzas are 11' pies, so they're on the smaller side, but I'm all for it because it means you get to try a few different varieties with each visit. This time, we went for the Nduja and Pollo Arrosto pizzas and loved both. The Nduja is one of the more interesting pies I've tried from here, it's the perfect balance of spicy and sweet with sausage on top and squash puree as the base. We rounded out the order with the arugula and pear salad and the acclaimed Gnocchetti, which I'll be dreaming about for weeks--it's sooo creamy and cozy, it's the perfect winter comfort food. I've literally never been disappointed with anything I order here, and some of the pizzas change seasonally which helps keep things fresh. I will say the prices are a bit high for a pizza joint, but you really get what you pay for. No complaints on my end. All that to say: Trust the reviews, this place is a must try.

Joy G.

Yelp
Joining in the chorus of 5* star reviews to say this is, according to my research, the best pizza in Boston. The pies are 11-inch Neapolitan style, big enough for one person to hose down and for two people to share if you want to try other dishes on the menu (which consists of pizza, pastas, salads, and paninis). Let's just say - the Margherita pizza made me homesick for New York. It comes the closest to the NYC gold standard out of all the pizzas I've tried so far. We came during an off-hour in the afternoon to find the place pretty empty. The music on the inside was turned up pretty loud so we opted for a table in the patio. I love my veggies but decided to save more room for pizza - we ended up going with the Margherita and the Sopressata, as well as the gnocchetti. The Margherita was my favorite of our order, with the pasta coming in at a close second. The Margherita, at its core, is a study in simplicity, nothing more than creamy mozz, San Marzano tomatoes, basil, topped off with a drizzle of olive oil. *CHEF'S KISS* I loved the gnocchetti, particularly the braised short ribs, but it is extremely rich and I was good and stuffed after a few bites. I probably wouldn't order the Sopressata again, as I wasn't a huge fan of the cherry peppers. The prosciutto di parma was definitely calling my name. The only downside: it's a bit of a trek to get to and the parking situation is not easy. They have a parking lot of 5 or so spots and I spied two or three 30-minute spots near the intersection of Chestnut and Williams, but otherwise everything else seemed to be permit only. If we come here next time, Uber may be the way to go. I'm so sad this isn't right in my neighborhood. Absolutely worth a stop if you're in Boston.

Eugene W.

Yelp
Holy moly this place is great. When we sat down, we met this other couple who said they drove 1.5 hours from New Hampshire just to have the pizza. Another person came in and was super excited to try this top-rated pizza spot. I was surprised that the #2 ranked pizza spot on Yelp's top 100 was in the Boston area. It did live up to the hype. The salsiccia was so delicious. The fennel sausage is really aromatic and rich. I loved the cherry peppers - they added a really nice kick to it. The Americana was more average. Nothing too noteworthy about it. The prosciutto di parma was also delicious. The gorgonzola was definitely a key player, but not too overpowering. The fig jam counteracted the funkiness of the blue cheese very well. The balsamic added a nice splash of acidity. The arugula added some nice bitterness. All of the flavors in perfect harmony! For all of their pizzas, the crust was so delicious. Aromatic and bready. Service was great. They don't have a lot of seating, but it wasn't too crowded for Saturday lunch. Parking is also limited on-site, but you can find street parking on the nearby roads.

Ernest S.

Yelp
Yes, we did. They don't open until 4 o'clock, but we did get the pizzas and we got a couple of appetizers. I believe my wife had a sangria would've been a Diet Coke but we enjoyed ourselves and the staff was however you like it if you wanted something they were there if you wanted to be left alone well they just stood by All time the food was delicious

Kelly P.

Yelp
I'm pretty sure this is the best pizza I've ever had! My best friend and I are visiting Boston for the first time and saw this place had good reviews... don't walk, run! Such a cute cozy restaurant. The pizza here is divine! The flavors exploding in your mouth is an experience to truly savor. So good, we got another pizza to go! Also really enjoyed their chopped salad. Fast service and the staff are friendly.

Eric D.

Yelp
Some fantastic pizza here. Even the paninis were awesome. The sauce on the pizzas was sweet and the dough of both the pizzas and paninis was moist with the perfect amount of crisp. Everything was so flavorful. They have parking but very limited. Seating is available but minimal. Most folks visit here to do takeout. If you're a pizza lover, get yourself a hot bag. These pies are worth bringing home nice and toasty. Cheers

Lauren R.

Yelp
Stopped by Ciao because I was in the area and I've heard a lot about it, clearly for good reason!! This pizza tastes like nothing else i've had in the US, exactly how pizza in Italy tastes. The garlic bread was also probably the best i've ever had! The place is super small with very limited parking, we came at 12:30pm on a Monday and the lot was full, so I'd recommend take out if you can! Also, the pizza's are all 11inches so keep that in mind if you're ordering for a big party. I can't wait to go back and try more pizzas!

Monica K.

Yelp
The best pizza and pasta I had while in Boston. We enjoyed lunch here on a Saturday shortly after they had opened. We were able to sit at the window bar inside. Please keep in mind that most of the seating is outside, but it is heated during the winter months. The service was top tier. We received our food fast. The pizza was full of flavor and plentiful sauce like I like it. The Campanella had hint of spice and the noodles were cooked perfect.

Mark L.

Yelp
Having been here before, I expected very good pizza and pasta and still was surprised how good it was. Carbonara - It's actually not that creamy at all. If you worry about too heavy, not to worry. It's not that much cream. The pasta is very al dente. Pretty impressive. Fettuccini - Again very al dente and sauce is pretty light. Did enjoy the truffle flavor. Fungi pizza - great dough. Fresh made dough taste different. I saw the sausage pizza and that looks really good. This place unfortunately doesn't have a lot of seating place. Mostly take out but if you come early, nice to enjoy a fresh baked pizza and al dente pasta. Take out might make the the pasta soggy.

Echo L.

Yelp
This is a pizza paradise! We ordered funghi pizza and gnocchetti, enough to feed a couple with leftovers to spare. But let me tell you, that pizza dough was out-of-this-world amazing! And as a big fan of mushroom, the perfect texture and flavor made each bite a delight. While the gnocchetti was well-flavored, I found it a tad too heavy and cheesy for my personal taste. The service was lightning-fast, and they've got outdoor seating. It's challenging to find such a gem in Boston, where great food is offered without the need for reservations or enduring long waits. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and would definitely come back again

Hanna H.

Yelp
The best pizza and gnocchi! After visiting this restaurant for takeout, I cannot wait for the next time I can take a trip out to this restaurant for dine-in! I still find it quite amazing that a restaurant like this exists just a bit outside of Boston, especially with 5 stars on yelp averaged from over 1,000 reviews which is just unheard of! I definitely think this spot deserves the hype from the consistency to their customer service, to simply very tasty and high quality food. It was my first time trying Neapolitan pizza with both fig and prosciutto which was surprisingly a great combination. The gnocchi short rib dish was also surprisingly very creamy and tasty with just the right amount of flavors and texture in one bite. Whenever people ask me for my favorite pizza around Boston, this is a spot I often think of! What we ordered: - Prosciutto Di Parma Pizza - Gnocchetti

Shawn M.

Yelp
Amazing shrimp Diablo off the menu and pasta. My wife had Cavettii awesome better than mine, always . Sat at the bar. Bread with the sauce the key.

Ashley B.

Yelp
Not sure why there is so much hype about this spot. I was very excited to try it but my experience was a letdown. The pizza was decent at best and the service staff was quite rude. Won't be a return spot for me unfortunately.

Alice N.

Yelp
Been wanting to check Ciao out after seeing the raving reviews and hype! The Campanelle pasta ($21) WAS SO GOOD loved how creamy the bolognese pasta tasted since I'm just use to it being in a red sauce. We devoured this between the two of us it was definitely our favorite. I had really high expectations for the pizza but I wasn't sure what to expect. We got the Salsiccia pizza and everything was super flavorful but we wish the pizza's undercarriage was crispy or had more give it to it as it was a little floppy. Other than that, everything from the sauce to the sausage was super yummy! I like having different textures when eating a pizza so maybe I'll have to come try the pizza again!

Kenisha H.

Yelp
Food was fantastic and service was top notch. I was in town for work for 4 days. I was literally there 3 out of the 4 days. Met the owner and he was so kind, humble and appreciative. Will definitely be back!

Frances L.

Yelp
Yummy!! What a great find as I love pizza!! Ciao is number two on Yelp's top 100 pizza spots in USA and Canada. It's a tiny restaurant with some seating inside and a few tables in a covered patio area. We were welcomed in and service was so friendly. We ordered two pizzas, a pasta and a salad to share. Their pizzas reminded me of pizzas we had in Naples. The crust was airy and chewy with a slight crisp. The sausage on the Salcissia was so flavorful. I was also impressed that the pizza wasn't oily. Our Campanelle pasta was delicious as well. Al dente pasta with a meaty sauce. My chopped salad was fresh and perfectly dressed. Delicious dinner and I highly recommend Ciao!!

Specter E.

Yelp
Great pies ,service etc... Pizza solid beers great good in winter as pizza oven is outside so can be hot in summer

Deb W.

Yelp
After hearing many rave reviews about ciao pizza, I finally had an opportunity to try it for myself. The 11inch pizza can likely feed 1.5 people, so order 2 if you're going with a friend. My husband and I shared two pizzas and had half a pizza left over. We ordered the funghi and the margarita pizza. The funghi was definitely the highlight. It was flavorful and the ingredients blended very well together! I highly recommend this pizza. The margarita pizza on the other hand was just okay. It didn't stand out as much as the funghi did. There was plenty of mozerella cheese which was great, but very limited basil. I also liked that the pizzas made here are very thinly sliced. Overall the pizza was decent and if I was in the area, I may get it again but I likely won't go out of my way to come back.

Katie C.

Yelp
Perfect Napoli crust, spot on texture and chew cooked to perfection. Incredible sauce and great variety of flavors. Even our next day leftovers warmed up in the oven perfectly! Mmmmm!!!

Ricardo P.

Yelp
Decided to takeout pizza from here on my most recent trip to Boston. Parking situation is limited. Easy to place order online. Margherita Pizza was good but not unique.

Daniel W.

Yelp
best short rib gnocchi ever! This is probably top 3 of all pasta dishes I've eaten in my life, and I frequent North End on a regular.

Whitney F.

Yelp
I honestly expected the food to over-hyped... all I can say is it wasn't. Best pizza me and my husband have ever had.

Vinisha K.

Yelp
Ciao!'s Margherita and Nutella Pizzas were really really good! We went an hour before closing on a Friday evening, and they didn't have enough seating so we had to sit at the window bar. But the menu is well priced and the food is delicious!! We're definitely coming here again!

Reeven S.

Yelp
5 STARS WITH ALMOST 1K REVIEWS?! A RARE GEM IN YELP! Ciao! is easily one of my favorite restaurants I have visited in my life. My friends and I just arrived in Boston and a specific restaurant for dinner was not on our itinerary that day, but we stumbled upon this place through Yelp. Pizza and pasta? What a typical American-Italian restaurant. But I was wrong! This place was voted Yelp's Top 100 in the USA for a reason! We enjoyed our first time here so much that we went for a second time before we left. When I am traveling, I typically like to try as many restaurants as I could, and going here for a second time in one vacation should say a lot about how much I love this restaurant. Both their pizza and pasta were very delicious! On the first night, we ordered the Funghi and Salciccia pizza and the Spaghetti Scampi and Gnochetti. The second time we ordered the Prosciutto di Parma pizza and the Salciccia Pizza and Gnochetti again. The Gnochetti was my absolute favorite pasta, but the scampi was also very delicious. My friends enjoyed the Salciccia very much, but I liked the Funghi pizza the most. Overall, all of their food was delicious - probably the best pizza and pasta I've ever had! The customer service was excellent as well! Because we did not want to wait, we were seated at the bar stools right in front of the cash register. We had some really great conversations with the staff and they recommended a few great places for us to visit in Boston. We watched the cooks prepare the pizza and pasta by hand, which truly added to our experience. I really enjoyed my time here and I highly recommend this place to everyone that visits Boston! It may not be in the central location, but I think it's worth the trip!

Bernard S.

Yelp
I've been back and will happily say I was wrong. Ciao! is five stars for sure. The pizzas are delicious, especially the prosciutto di parma and the salsiccia (which is quite spicy!). The pastas are great too: our favorites are the gnocchetti and the campanelle (a bolognese-style sauce). The tent on the side of the building is cozy and well heated in the winter. Snow was falling while we ate and it created a lovely atmosphere.

Amy Z.

Yelp
Ordered weeknight takeout from Ciao! Pizza & Pasta after seeing the incredible reviews. It's an unassuming restaurant in Chelsea on a busy street with a small parking lot. When you enter, there's a counter where you can place and pickup orders. There also appeared to be a spacious interior for dine-in. The staff were very friendly and had my order ready to go. The pizza and pasta were both delicious, though the only disappointment was the pizza was cold (not Ciao's fault, but perhaps a reason to dine-in). The pizza had a well-textured dough and good amount of toppings. The pasta was chewy and packed full of flavor -- it was definitely a highlight! Food: 1. Pollo Arrosto Pizza (4/5 - but likely better dine-in) 2. Fettuccine with wood-fired roasted mushrooms, asparagus, pearl onions, black truffle butte (4.5/5)

Maury N.

Yelp
outstanding like no other. This pizza if you close your eyes you would swear you were in Italy

Jason R.

Yelp
Small unsuspecting place on a side street in Chelsea. The food here is absolutely phenomenal! All the pastas and pizzas are made by hand and everything we had tasted homemade. The dining area is small but great for a date night or a few friends getting together for dinner and drinks. The service is top notch with everyone treating you like family as soon as you walk through the door. Definitely will be back!

Vish P.

Yelp
Top 3 pizzas for me in Boston! We went to this place for date night and because it was super early- it was just us the place. We got the pepperoni pizza with sauce on the side and the fresh made fettuccini. The food came out quick and the pizza was just amazing- not doughy at all, light and airy and the combination of pepperoni and onions+ peppers was just perfect. Favorite little local gem, can't wait to go back!

Mike H.

Yelp
Okay... in from out of town, haven't eaten all day, it is Friday night 7PM, and I need food. Walk into this very small place, and a very nice young lady seats us at the window bar seats, and hands us a menu and I order a salad and a pizza, and a hazy ipa.... Simple right? Busiest time of the week week Small place tons of people probably gonna take a while right? And then it happened what puzzled and baffled me beyond my own imagination, within a minute and a half a beer was in front of me with a fresh picture of water to clean glasses plates literally 35 seconds later a salad that we had just ordered a pears in front of me, cold crisp, not overdressed, And I dig in, and I got to be honest now I was hungry, but one of the best amazing salads I've ever had. Everything was fresh and cold and just lovely, sucking down my beer and probably four minutes later a steaming hot. Pizza appears before me with sausage, pepperoni, all kinds of really good stuff and a dough that literally floated down from heaven, chewy and soft and crispy somehow. I can say this place is fantastic, the crew was amazing. Everyone checked on us as to how our meal was, where we were from the whole 9 yards, these kids were so pleasant, this business is so lucky to have a staff. That is this good,. I would highly recommend this establishment to just about anybody, unless you're just allergic to really great food, wonderful staff and good beer, then go to McDonald's. LOVE iT!!

Yelp
Best pizza in Boston, great service. Small and nice restaurant - definitely worth visiting

Yelp
This is it. This is easily the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to. The pizza is SO delicious; the crust is crispy and airy from the bubbles that form within, the sauce is flavorful without being acidic, and the cheese is high quality. I've tried multiple places in the greater Boston area but I find myself always craving the margherita from Ciao. The same goes for the gnochetti, which I think is the definition of a "hug for your mouth." It blends the flavors of a hearty pot roast with a cream pasta, creating the ultimate comfort food. Without a doubt, this place is worth a visit and I know I'll be coming back as long as I'm in Boston.
