Very cute atmosphere, the food was amazing, huge portions, reasonable prices and outstanding service. We were very surprised by a quality of service and a food for such place. We will definitely come back here to try out other dishes. The only point I want to mention is that, they don’t have a kids menu but, I think it shouldn’t be an issue, you can order some sides or share your meal with your little one. The portions are huge.

If you do NOT mind waiting for 10+ mins in front when you already reserved table for 5 people days ago and the restaurant is 70% empty, do Not mind sitting by the table another 10+ minutes with No menus handed to you, do NOT mind asking 3 times before the water comes, asking 4 times before the complimentary bread basket comes, 35 minutes after you order everything and finally first appetizer comes, asking 4 times before the check comes, then by all means come to this restaurant and eat the food because the food we ordered were decently delicious. We came for mother's day celebration with our 93 year old mom, and the restaurant was obviously understaffed. If you only care about the food but NOTHING else, this is a pretty good Italian restaurant.

The appetizer calamari is very crispy and tender, love it. The food is slightly above average but not that amazing. But our waitress Madison is just amazing. She make the whole meal more enjoyable.

Wife found this new gem in North Plano. We have been waiting for a good Italian restaurant in our neighborhood. We found it! The restaurant has been open about a month they said. The place is in a shopping strip on Preston and 121 by Pei Wei. The place is charming and nicely decorated. Our server, Nick, was very attentive and helpful when asking about dish suggestions. Truthfully I didn’t have big expectations going in. I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. We started with the Italian salad and calamari. The Italian salad was large enough to share for three of us and really good. Presentation was nice as well. The calamari was lightly breaded and plentiful. Our main dishes were all so good. My daughter ordered the Chef’s Pasta, wife the Cibo (pronounced Chi-Bo) Rigatoni, and I ordered the Seafood Spaghetti. All three dishes were cooked perfectly al dente like we like. The sauces were all fabulous as well. My daughter and my dishes were asked to kick it up spicy. It wasn’t as spicy as we would have liked, but overall still fantastic. The portions are very large as well. Literally we asked to pack all three dishes up after eating 1/3 each. Leftovers, love it! We were in a rush so we ordered dessert to go. Got the vanilla bean cheesecake and tiramisu. Tiramisu was my favorite. Overall, we are excited this place is close to the house and the quality and service was so good. If you are looking for a really good small Italian restaurant in the Plano/Frisco area, heck in North Dallas, come give this place a try. Ask for Nick. You won’t be disappointed.

All I can say is WOW! My new favorite restaurant by far. I came in here with my Mom Saturday at about lunch time. We ordered the Fresca Salad to split, then the Lasagna, the Lobster Ravioli, and the Tiramisu for desert with an Espresso and Cappuccino. Maybe is just worked out how we ordered, with the salad first and our main course after, but everything came out so quickly, with the most beautiful presentation. Everything was delicious, but I’ll go over every dish; the Fresca salad was light, with delicious bold flavors, the goat cheese was nice and warm and was such a delicious note in an otherwise cold dish. The lasagna was so creamy and delicious, the pasta inside was rolled out very thin so the dish felt so light yet the portion was perfect to feel full. Saving the best two for last; the Lobster Ravioli was the bomb, if you’re not a fan of seafood I wouldn’t recommend though, but for us it was delicious. And for desert the Tiramisu was beautifully presented with a fantastic taste. The coffee to pair was perhaps some of the best coffee I’ve had, I’m not huge on black coffee but after a sip from my moms cup I decided next time it’d definitely be what I ordered, it wasn’t the usual bitter black coffee taste but smooth and bold. Price wise for such beautiful tableware, atmosphere and absolutely bomb food it was more than worth it, for all we ordered we ended up paying about $90 after tips. All in all, we decided my soon to be birthday dinner would definitely be here 😉

Google
A great find and value. This place has great food and priced right. Ordered the calamari. Best I've had in a long time. FRESH calamari folks. Had the seafood pasta in garlic, oil, and light cream. Wifey had sausage rigatoni. Both dishes were solid and tasteful. Bottles of wine on a Sat night priced at $36.00. That's value. Atmosphere was cute! Clean and attentive service. Good job Cibo I will be returning.

As soon as you enter through the doors of Cibo Cucina Italiana, just know that you are in for a treat. We were greeted and seated by Dilayda - the owner - and a beautiful person with an equally magnetic energy. So attentive, friendly, professional, and engaging. An inviting/charming energy and ambiance awaits you with the most intricate design elements and detail that lend aesthetic value to the intimate dining space. It was reminiscent of a farm-to-table restaurant we went to in the Tuscan Countryside in the spring of 2016. We are first-time visitors here and are already aware about how busy this place tends to get, so we decided to come for lunch at an off-peak time. We were absolutely blown away by the food, service, and ambiance. Dilayda is an absolute rockstar - she made sure we had everything we needed during our meal and checked on us in intervals. She clearly cares about her guests, welcomes their feedback, and works efficiently and closely with her team behind the scenes in order to provide stellar customer service. Our culinary journey began with two glasses of bubbly, crisp, and refreshing Ruffino Prosecco. Perfectly paired with a series of authentic Italian Dishes, you really can't go wrong with just about any wine on the Menu. Next came the Olive Oil Dip and Bread, which achieved just the right balance of flavor as it gently coated the tongue with fruitiness and lightly cleansed the palate. The olive oil dip is Dilayda's recipe - she created it herself. Yum! We also ordered the Cozze Marinara (followed by Lobster Ravioli for me and Lasagna for Mom). All excellent! The Garlic Lemon White Wine Sauce needs to be bottled and sold! The Mussels were small, but mighty, and just the right temperature. From the creamy, saucy consistency of the pillowy pockets of goodness to the savory, smoky tomato flavor and chopped shrimp with just a hint of sweetness, it honestly left me wanting more. I have never had a Lobster Ravioli quite like this. I loved it, but you will just have to try it and judge for yourself. Mom mentioned that she loved her Lasagna and that it reminded her of dining at a sidewalk cafe in Italy. I also stole a bite from her plate and I concur! These are generous portions at reasonable prices. It is clear that only the best, freshest, and highest quality ingredients are utilized in house. The Chef is from Italy and having worked in some of the most prestigious kitchens in the world, it's no wonder that you will face a wait here on any day of the week. Highly recommend reservations or else you will be waiting or leave very disappointed. For Dessert, we ordered Tiramisu alongside Turkish Tea. With its sinfully good coffee-soaked layers of ladyfingers and cream, who could resist? Most places make it too dry and almost cracker-like and for me, it's a texture thing. This Tiramisu was a true standout because it was spongy and flavorful. It was beautifully presented on a plate that read, "Welcome to Cibo." The Turkish Tea was delightful - somewhat reminiscent of a faint apple spice with undertones of clove and cinnamon and a punch of intensity. Just delicious! From the countless Google and Yelp! reviews this place has, I was expecting to box any Entrée or Dessert leftovers and take them home for the next day. Not so. We engaged in conversation with both Dilayda and Madison and just loved their vibe and energy. I'm not sure I understand some of the low reviews on this establishment, but then again, you can't please everyone and it is possible that some Yelpers and Googlers clearly don't know authentic Italian or how it should taste. We plan to return and can definitely see ourselves being regulars here going forward. We have already made reservations for Dinner on another night in a few weeks - thank you Madison for your assistance. Thank you Dilayda and Madison and Chef for a wonderful meal! Mom and I will see you again soon!

Google
Double date night with our friend, wife chose Italian knowing I'm very critical when it come to Italian. Grew up managing and being part of an award wining italian restaurant its very hard for.me to like any to date. Well until tonight. Cibo hit all the mark. From the top notch service by Louis, to the Michelin ward winner Chef, everything was just amazing. Visually and mouth watering flavor was on point. Just look at the pics... I will be coming back here again and again to try everything they offer.

Yelp
I have never been to be better Italian restaurant before. The food was amazing. The kitchen was made a custom dish due to dietary needs and along with that Madison was absolutely amazing. She was so nice and accommodating to what I wanted. The selection of wine and liquor is going to make anyone fulfilled. The ambiance is absolutely amazing and peaceful. I fully recommend this restaurant!!!!

Yelp
Apparently the secret is out about this hidden gem. The wife and I have been going here for approximately 6 months & make Cibo a weekly stop. The food is amazing & the friendly staff always make us feel at home. Prices are very reasonable & the portions are perfect size. During the spring & fall months, be sure to enjoy their patio! Very romantic & cozy! Can't go wrong!

Harvey S.

Yelp
A very nice interior doesn't make up for the fact that the food has no flavor. Have they never heard of seasoning? Spices? Herbs? We won't be back.

Yelp
Armando and Salvador were the true standouts on this visit. Upon entering, my Mom and I were greeted by these two young men, shown to our table, seated, handed Menus, and given water. They have a new drink menu consisting of cocktails and mocktails which we will need to try on our next visit. What sets Cibo Cucina Italiana apart from all the others: 1.) the balance that is struck between impeccable service, ambiance, and phenomenal food. and 2.) the fact that this establishment can pride themselves on the premise of being legit Italian Cuisine I love what Dilayda - the owner - has created. She knows, appreciates, and interacts with her customers and asks for their feedback. There is a noticeable welcoming vibe and a highly magnetic, inviting energy about this space that is synonymous with comfort, joy, and contentment. The modern, upscale vibe is achieved through its aesthetics - from the bright color palette to the dazzling chandeliers. When you have a team with the culinary skills, experience, knowledge, and expertise to efficiently prepare and serve, you know you have the tools necessary to run a restaurant of this caliber. We will continue to be regulars here and return for future visits as frequently as we can. Mom ordered the Margherita Pizza and I ordered the Seafood Spaghetti. We tried each other's entrées and I think the silence spoke for itself. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. This is honestly the first time we have come to a restaurant and finished everything on our plate. No leftovers to speak of. The ingredients are clearly authentic and of high quality. Armando was our attentive, intuitive, polite, friendly, professional, and respectful server. I liked his energy and personality - it pretty much set the tone for the rest of the evening as he engaged in conversation with us and made us feel welcome. We perused the wine list and could not decide what we wanted, so he offered us a sample of a couple of white Italian wines. We decided on a glass each of the Barone Fini Pinot Grigio which lent palate-pleasing, fruity undertones and paired perfectly with the Seafood Spaghetti. I enjoyed every bite of the seafood spaghetti. The tender, yet firm and ideal al dente perfectly balanced texture with just the right amount of chew, and portions of succulent shrimp, mussels, and calamari in a light, delicate, magical, delectable white wine lemon sauce made for a delicious meal reminiscent of farm-to-table dining in Tuscany. My Mom enjoyed the Margherita Pizza - it arrived hot and fresh out of the oven and straight to the table. From the texture, chew, and dough/crust ratio with pops of rich mozzarella, the acidity of the crushed tomatoes, and fresh basil right up to the edge, you cannot go wrong with either of these two dishes. The flavor was a combination of creaminess and acidity and was giving us authentic Neapolitan Vibes from start to finish. To conclude our meal, we decided on the Vanilla Bean Cheesecake. It is a perfect size for 2 to share and is made fresh in-house! You can certainly tell the difference as it is not very sweet and made with real/high-quality ingredients. Most noteworthy are the cream cheese and melted butter for texture, and graham cracker crust for the perfect bite. What truly bothers me are filterless fellow judgmental patrons - the ones who seem to get pleasure (whether they take-out or dine-in)out of complaining, denigrating and/or trashing a business as they describe the lack of service, food quality, or that no one acknowledged them when they entered and begin recalling events that most likely never happened and spewing untrue nonsense which is not accurate or at all reflective of their dining experience. I'm still not sure I understand some of the low reviews on this establishment, but then again, you can't please everyone and it is possible that some Yelpers and Googlers clearly either don't have a discerning palate or truthfully don't know authentic Italian Cuisine or how it should taste.‍

Yelp
Pesto gnocchi was amazing! It was our favorite out of the 3 dishes we ordered. The lobster ravioli was so good as well. Our last choice was seafood spaghetti and it was very good but the sauce was missing something. Service was absolutely amazing! Dawson was so nice and made great recommendations! Only reason it did not get a 5 star is the host sat us in the middle of the restaurant at a table and said all the booths were for reservations and yet when we left multiple were still open. So while it did not ruin our night it was just annoying.

Abhijit R.

Yelp
Went there over the holidays... The place was not very busy, but the service could really be improved. We had a 7:30 reservation and only started eating dinner at 8:40. Had to engage the manager to be catered to. We were just 7 of us, so not quite a large party. Food was not bad. To be fair, we did get complementary desert for the lack of service. Will have to give it another shot sometime later.

Yelp
Came here for lunch last week on a whim while driving by. I was pleasantly happy with how great it was. I ordered the chicken parm, and the server told me it was really big and would be almost 2 meals. SHE WAS RIGHT! It was awesome the next day. Service was great, kept checking in on me. Even gave me a piece of Tiramisu for my 50th birthday! :). Really liked this place and you should try it.

Jason R.

Yelp
Well, by chance we came here and it was there first night open. So I'm going to really be light on this review. I think the main thing I can say is that the food was good, I really didn't have to much of a compliant about that, they did a fresh olive and bread platter and pickles, that was a nice touch. The service, was a bit lacking.. we spent a bit of time just waiting for someone to come over and get our order going and they were not at all busy, so I dunno opening day jitters? I'm going to go 3 star's on this, knowing that it was likely issues they will work out after being open for a bit. So I hope you go and try it and perhaps rate them higher than I did (which, is what should happen if indeed the place improves after there first few weeks of getting there footing and finding there rythem)

Anise S.

Yelp
Such an incredible night celebrating with my friends and family the owner Dilayda made my birthday so special! Armando was an amazing waiter taking care of all 14 of us! The food was delicious, beautifully presented and all the flavors were balanced and delightful!! Can not wait to return! 10/10!!!

Yelp
This is a beautiful restaurant with quality food. Service was on the slow side but we were not in a hurry. What will prevent me from dining here again is when the restaurant was asked by a solicitor if he could enter they allowed him to. In the middle of people eating their meals this man approached each table asking if they wanted to buy baked goods.

Yelp
I was craving Italian food and asked hubby if he wanted to go to Olive Garden, we had just been there a few weeks ago prior. So he suggested trying somewhere new, of course I went on Yelp and found this new restaurant that's only been open for a couple months. I'm so glad we decided to dine here instead! We walked in and were seated right away. The ambiance and decor were really nice! Very cute spot for date nights! Our waiter was really nice and offered to let me sample a few wines, I went with the pino Grigio, hubby had a do esquis. They give complimentary bread with an olive oil herb sauce, it was so good. For our appetizer we got the mussels in the garlic butter white wine sauce, they were amazing I was being greedy and almost eat all of them on my own lol. For our main course I had the veal Marsala and hubby had the lobster ravioli. The veal was soggy and lacking flavor. I asked for salt and pepper and tried to enjoy it but it just wasn't good at all. I hate sending my food back but I had to. I opted for the chicken Parmesan instead and it was a hit! Between that and the lobster ravioli we were both happy and satisfied. The portions are huge, I had to ask for a to go box. Everything was great, the food, the wine and the service. Can't wait to come back for the mussels again!

John L.

Yelp
I wanted to love this place. The decor is nice-- good place for a date night. Server was warm and kind. There happened to be a huge prom party when we were there, so I'm willing to forgive the hour it took for our entrees to arrive. But the food was... not good. The antipasto platter was a bright spot. Otherwise, the chicken in the chef's pasta and the veal in the Marsala were inedible (I HATE typing that). The salmon and Caesar salad were ok. The waiter took the gnocchi off the bill without our mentioning it because it went uneaten. Slow is ok if the food is good. But the quality of the vibe can't outweigh slow service AND bad food, unfortunately.

Yelp
Very pleasant restaurant start to finish, we requested to sit outside and they prepared a tablecloth for us, outside patio is actually quite large, perfect for a beautiful weather day. Italian Wines are offered and they were all fantastic, House salad was a beautiful presentation and light not he dressing, We got the Rigatoni pasta and the prosciutto pizza which were both tasty, they have happy hour every day, definitely worth a try in the North dallas neighborhood!

Yelp
Love love love this restaurant! I'm so tired of the Napoli's in the area! This is so refreshing and delicious! Fresh ingredients excellently prepared by a superb chef! Wonderful staff, friendly restaurant owner and great ambiance. Clean bathrooms! Sat in a comfortable booth. Greeted warmly. When I called to see if they were open this evening, the woman who answered was very friendly! We tried the fried calamari and mussels in white wine sauce. The salmon with Caesar salad was deliciously prepared. My husband loved the lasagna. The cannoli is house made and fresh! Can't say enough good things! We have a new Italian restaurant for date night!!! Great music too!!! Thank you!!!!

Yelp
Congrats on a destination spot's new opening. It's only been a few months but the Michelins Chef ran restaurant has earned its bragging rights. I found it per positive yelp reviews in its zip code (shout out to the Yelpers!!!!) The Chicken Parm was Texas-size servings and could prob use a lil more seasoning but was beyond its value for its cost. When I went they had a featured pastacchoi cheesecake desert and I commend the experimentation. It actually rang more fruity than nutty but delish just the same. At the least check out the happy hours. At most, prepare for The BEST customer service, ever! My waiter, Jonathan was extremely attentive and wouldn't even let me read from an unpolished menu or pour my own wine refills. Such a clean setting with great chill-versions of pop songs for the setting, that I'll easily go back there for a mom "get-away" again. Highly recommend.

Susana S.

Yelp
Exquisite food from the appetizers to the dessert Great ambiance above and beyond service my son got French toast and pepperoni pizza my husband had Italian lamb chops I got carbonara my mother in law got lasagna and to finish up the best tiramisu ever .

Michaele H.

Yelp
We were in from out of town and wanted Italian food. And boy did we find a gem! We were eating mid afternoon, so basically had the place to ourselves. However, even at this time the ambiance, and attentiveness of our server Dilayda made our experience one to remember. The food is FANTASTIC!! Don't sleep on this new place.

George S.

Yelp
Our first visit was great. Haven't found many Italian restaurants I really love in the vicinity, but this one has a lot of promise! They brought out bread with olive tapenade for a great start. Loved the calamari- especially the sauce - a bit of kick. We ordered the chef's pasta and seafood spaghetti- the former was my favorite, but pasta in both was cooked perfectly. The cannoli (the ricotta kind - my favorite) and tiramisu were very good. Service was great- very friendly and attentive, and gave good advice in helping us decide what to try first. We will be back to try more and I'll update review.

Jessie S.

Yelp
Excellent food and very classy service. Our waiter was acceptionally attentive and made us feel special Minestrone soup Excellent flavor Lobster ravioli flavorful Sausage and pepper pasty very nicely prepared We will be back soon Grazzi

Jeff H.

Yelp
Ambiance was really nice. Took my gf for an early valentine's day dinner and it was a nice atmosphere for that. The calamari was tbe worst ive ever tasted and ive had it at a lot of different places. This calamari was hardly cooked at all. When i was asked how we liked it we both said it was awful. The waitress asked if we wanted something else instead but our main entrees had just been delivered, so no. Would prefer it just be taken off our bill. My gf got the lobster ravioli which was good. Tasted similar to that from Mio nonno but not quite as good. My lasagna was very average at best. Then the waitress decided to bring us out a free dessert (tira misu) which i am sure she had good intentions but a) my gf and i dont really eat much dessert, b) we dont like tira misu and never said we did, c) preferred the awful calamari to be taken off our bill instead but she kept it on there. The service was confusing and also very slow. The girl that first waited on us said someone else would be by to wait on us and take our order. After 15 min, no one came by and she showed up again to take our order. Our glasses were empty for awhile each time we needed a refill. Took awhile to find her to get the check. The free bread was very good and the highlight of the meal. Most likely wont be back.

Jeff H.

Yelp
Excellent food; great service, and friendly people. A nice variety of Italian specialties, and excellent pizzas and salads as well. Most recently, my wife and hosted our daughter, granddaughter (celebrating her high school graduation), grandson (who's a chef in Montana and so knows restaurants), and his significant other and 9 year old. Everybody ordered something different: veal Parmesan, 4 different pizzas ("Dirty Bird," Peperoni, and Margarita), and a Pasta (in this case spaghetti) with mixed seafood (mussels, clams, shrimp) mix in a lemon creme sauce. All top notch. Definitely one of the nicer Italian restaurants in the Plano area!

Jessica B.

Yelp
Got the chefs pasta, sauce was very thin and runny pancetta was not rendered enough and was very chewy. Service was not great although we came after work and haven't been here before so likely we were judged on appearance. One of two tables in the whole restaurant and having to flag people down for service is insane. When the server was at the table she was very pleasant I'd just suggest paying more attention instead of talking to coworkers. Desserts were good. Would not come back for a while until they figure things out.

Cristino A.

Yelp
Our server Armando provided great service and food suggestions. The chicken parmigiana was delicious. I substituted the spaghetti for the fettuccini Alfredo. Highly recommend!

Maryam L.

Yelp
Cibo restaurant they have really good food with nice romantic patio OMG love that place

Ryan H.

Yelp
Cute place, kind people, but nearly terrible food quality. Complimentary "Antipasto" is a nice idea, but giving us some half-burnt Kroger bread is not a good way to start a meal. Lobster Ravioli was clearly frozen product heated up, with some frozen shrimp added for +$10. What the heck is going on here? Waiter touted this as a "Michelin-starred chef restaurant". Um, no. Sorry, but we won't be back. Where are all these 5-star reviews coming from?? I'd be shocked if this is not profile manipulation.

Albert T.

Yelp
Freaking delicious. Got the Rigatoni, Cesar and meatball appetizer (in white wine and garlic sauce). Now it's gonna be my go to joint. Great food. Fabulous service (Nick). Felt like I got my money's worth and had an awesome date night with wifey.

Larry K.

Yelp
On our second visit, Executive Danny Barbos dazzled us again. Each one of his dishes was creative, beautiful, and most of all unsurpassed in flavor. He is an authentic Italian chef from Turin, Italy who clearly mastered the art of fine homemade cuisine that expresses the love he has for each of his diners. My wife and I have not found a restaurant in DFW where we have had more fun in an elegant but unpretentious atmosphere. Danny makes each meal a celebration!

Akash V.

Yelp
Very nice Italian food and big portions. They accommodate big parties and the service is great. Upscale and cozy ambiance nice for a quiet date or casual night with friends. Lobster ravioli and pizza were very tasty and so were the salads. Be careful with your order the portions are big and meant to be shared

John S.

Yelp
This is an outstanding Italian restaurant pure and simple. We walked in on a Saturday night and only had a very short wait for a table. Thought we'd wait at the bar and enjoy a glass of wine but there's no bartender... the waitstaff pours the wine (or beer) for their tables but nobody to serve at the bar. The wait for the table was short and Stephanie, our server, was so helpful and gracious... and kept giving us an update on our food selection. To start, we split a house salad and I was blown away by the presentation. I hated to destroy it by eating it but it was fresh, and so good. I had chicken parm and my dining partner enjoyed fettuccine Alfredo: delicious and huge servings. We both brought some home to enjoy the next day. And, had to make room for dessert! The homemade cannolis were fresh with a crisp shell...probably the best in the area. My compliments to the chef that made them. We will go back again and enjoy more dishes off their menu. This is a great "date night" destination with food that can't be beat and service that is second to none. Give it a try; you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
This place was SO good!!! I went here with a friend and the main thing that stood out was service. It was absolutely amazing! The food came out pretty quick and was so good. We left so so full and the portions were so big. Between the two of us we shared the calamari, chefs pasta, and the rigatoni and it could've easily fed four people for such a good price. On top of that, chef even gave us a free dessert even though we didn't order one as a thank you for coming which was so kind of him and it was honestly the perfect dessert. It was some sort of lemon cake that wasn't too sweet and was so light I would 100% order it the next time I go. Will be coming back for sure.

Yelp

Yelp
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. If you're looking for a delicious Italian restaurant, this is the place. The staff was wonderful, consistently checking on us even though we were seated on the patio. We never felt neglected. Just the sweetest staff.

Yelp
Phenomenal service and hand down amazing atmosphere! The servers were amazing and were very on top of the menu and knowledgeable of all the items! We got to meet the main chef who created all these dishes! The bathrooms were clean. We were treated with the utmost respect! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a good date night or just a good dinner out on the town! The food was brought out in a timely manner, and it was not rushed or too slow of service. I can't wait to come back to this restaurant!

Yelp
Chef Danny Barbos is amazing! You can taste the authenticity in every dish! The decor is beautiful, the wait staff is efficient and friendly and Chef Danny delivers the tastiest dishes ever! Don't Forget the Limoncello and Tiramisu!

Yelp
Outstanding lunch yesterday at Cibo. It's a beautiful restaurant with modern elegance. They are newly opened and worth the trip. Louis was an outstanding server and Chef Danny delivered delightful dishes. I highly recommend the Chicken Marsala and the Lobster Ravioli. Portions were great and the prices were on point. This hidden gem won't be hidden for long.

Yelp
This restaurant was surprisingly very good. I say surprisingly because we had not heard about it and it seems not many other people have either...yet. It's too good to be overlooked much longer. The decor was inviting and sophisticated. The food fresh and homemade. We started with the soup of the day (Chicken Noodle) and the Fresca salad (huge portion) and both were very good. The Chicken Parmigiana was good, not great. The Margherita pizza was the star of the show though. It reminded us of our trips to Italy. The chef brought us complimentary cannoli and they were also quite yummy. Would definitely recommend.

Yelp
After doing takeout several times, met friends here for dinner a week ago. Food was still very good... bruschetta was fantastic and includes a salad that isn't just plate decoration. It's fantastic! Only flaw we've found is the service, takeout and dining in. Take out: things left out of orders, persons answering phones unfamiliar with the menu. Our party was going to be 15 minutes late for our reservation so called and the guy who "helped" was a mess. Legit took ten minutes for him to understand it was an existing reso, no not making a new one, just advising running late, and no not canceling. Our actual server that evening was perfectly nice and knowledgeable about the menu but absolutely lacking tact. He frequently would interrupt us while we were talking. Very pushy. No attempt to pick his spots. Yet after we turned down dessert he absolutely disappeared. It became comical. The other employees were just gathered around the bar or host stand speaking with each other. After 15 minutes trying to get anyone to bring us the check I finally began waving my arms in the air to get someone's attention. Good food, nice decor, service needs to improve significantly.

Yelp
We ate lunch today, April 8th. Dilayda was an excellent server. The Fresca Salad was delicious. Calamari Fritti was very fresh and crispy. The sausage in the Cibo Rigatoni was so tasty. We will be back. Many other items on the menu that sound delicious! Sheila and David

Yelp
Owner & Chef is from Northern Italy and makes his own bread! The food is right out of a North Italian regions and perfection! Chef can be heard singing Italian songs from the kitchen and will walk the restaurant floor to talk to the guest! This is wonderful personalized Italian experience!

Yelp
Marginal at best. Service ok, but waitress was a smart ass. If you are a stouffers lasagna or chef boyardee enthusiast, this is your place.

Yelp
Been here twice since they opened. The food is amazing! Everything is delicious and quality. The service was great our first time going there our server Nick really took care of us. The place is not too big but it does get packed but the food is well worth the wait.

Yelp
This place is head to toe fantastic. Service was impeccable, food was delicious and so well balanced. Despite the massive portions, we didn't feel weighed down by this food, a testament to the fresh ingredients and michelin caliber chef.

Yelp
Cibo just opened in Plano and is such a great find! We definitely plan on visiting again. The service by Louis was outstanding, Chef Danny's menu has all the favorites one would want in a new Italian restaurant!!!! Delicious with amazing ambiance accompanied by great Italian music.

Yelp
This place was hard to find but it was worth the search. Pretty interior, clean and outstanding food. Best Italian restaurant in the area. The Chicken Parmesan and Lobster Ravioli were excellent. The truffle fries were to die for. There is a pretty patio with peach trees and fig trees next to a creek.

Yelp
Amazing food and service. Wonderful new find. The tiramisu was one of the best I have ever had comparing to restaurants around the globe. Well done.

Yelp
It's a quaint and lovely place for a date night or evening with friends. I love the personal touch of the chef serving the table, you can tell he takes a lot of pride in his work and wants everyone to feel taken care of. The shrimp scampi was delicious, but honestly I can't stop thinking about this dessert! Great overall experience, looking forward to going back.
