Overall, the service at this restaurant was stellar, but the food fell a bit short of my expecations for a restaurant that was michelin selected.
The croquettes were okay, but the filling was chunky and fell apart, and the mustard was too strong and overpowered the flavor of the entire dish.
The beef tartare was just okay, but it didn’t stand out in terms of freshness or uniqueness. The bread served alongside it was excellent, though. It was crunchy, with bits of chorizo, and reminded me of a mini ham and cheese toasty.
The octopus was grilled nicely, but the bread stew underneath was too heavy. We ate a few bites of it as the flavour was just ok.
The pork neck dish had its hits and misses. The pork was tough to cut and chew, but the rice underneath was excellent nicely toasted with great flavor.
