Cítricos - Review - The Grand Floridian - Orlando - The Infatuation

"Citricos is a subtly themed Mary Poppins restaurant and lounge just past the doors of Victoria & Albert’s that’s serving the resort’s best cocktails, with ingredients like housemade tepache and banana oleo-saccharum. The food menu is equally strong—sweet corn bisque is garnished with kernels of popcorn, there’s citrus-cured hamachi, and passion fruit nuoc cham, plus a perfectly cooked chicken roulade with a side of orange-lacquered hush puppies." - Jacqueline Dole

Cítricos

"Set on the second floor of the Grand Floridian Hotel, Citricos brings to life a gloriously contemporary vibe and décor elements that are a subtle nod to Mary Poppins. The menu is coastal American, as evidenced by the use of seafood, citrus and tropical fruit. The team has a refined cooking style, replete with balanced flavors and technical prowess. While the carte is seasonal, expect the likes of corn bisque whimsically arranged with pickled fennel and popcorn. Crispy smoked duck is finished with salt and gently set atop a tangle of tagliatelle with celeriac purée. Up next might be guava-braised short ribs with cheddar grits and poblano sauce, leaving you full to the brim. Save room for at least one exquisite dessert—like an orange blossom flan." - Michelin Inspector

We had a truly wonderful experience at Citricos, from the beautiful location to the inviting atmosphere, exceptional service, and of course, the outstanding food. Citricos is perfectly situated in the main building of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, which adds a touch of elegance and convenience to the evening. The interior is stylish and welcoming, offering a refined yet relaxed setting that’s perfect for a special dinner. Our server, Adrian, went above and beyond to make our evening memorable. She was not only helpful and attentive but also genuinely warm and friendly—thank you, Adrian, for your fantastic service! While Citricos is on the pricier side, it absolutely delivers in quality and experience. It’s also family friendly, we noticed several families with children enjoying their meals, which adds to the restaurant’s inclusive charm. If you’re looking for a top tier sit down dinner at Walt Disney World, I highly recommend making time for Citricos. Just be sure to book a reservation well in advance, it’s a popular spot, and tables fill up quickly!

A Surprisingly Great Experience! Honestly, I didn’t even want to go at first but I’m so glad I did. From start to finish, Citricos was a fantastic dining experience. Our waiter was absolutely amazing, attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food was delicious, fresh, and bursting with flavor. The restaurant has a chic atmosphere, and one of the highlights for me was being able to see the main chef and the kitchen staff in action. Everything was well organized, and you could tell they really cared about what they were doing. I’ll definitely be returning.

One of the many nice places to dine at the Grand Floridian Resort. It’s a bit upscale but delicious and a great ambience. Perfect for a romantic dinner or celebrations. Dress code is casual, yet more upscale than typical Disney dining. Definitely recommend! :)

This was my second time at Citricos and that solidified it as my favorite Disney restaurant right now! Every single thing is delicious and beautifully plated. The steak is incredible and has a great red wine sauce. The truffle gnocchi mac and cheese was very good, but probably something I would not order every time, as it was very rich and expensive for the portion size. The profiteroles were a nice surprise. Very light but flavorful. We could see the pastry chef working on them from our table. The service is exceptional there as well. Can’t wait to go back!

Had a wonderful evening at Citrico's Our server Adrian held her standards high, and did a wonderful job making us feel warm and at home. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the food, and tended to us perfectly. Great conversations were had with her melding with our evening. We ordered a variety of dishes and were thoroughly satisfied by each of them. The ambiance of the restaurant was immaculate and the drinks perfectly crafted to match each aspect of our meal. We enjoyed some unexpected live music as well, listening with pleasure to the sweet serenading sounds of Blink-182 being belted by the chefs themselves. Haha. 10/10 Had a very pleasant evening and will certainly be returning.

This place is amazing! My fiancé and I split two dishes, and they were insanely tasty. The staff was also SO lovely and kind. We will definitely be back.

Great and clearly marked vegan options! The smoked cauliflower, hen of the woods and the desert were incredible!!! Service was, of course, perfect! The piano player in the lobby is always a special way to wrap up the evening!

I went in as requested when I made the reservation in "clean clothes". I was by myself and feel like I was ask 5 times if I was celebrating something - I wasn't, I was getting tired of being asked. This place suffers from cognitive dissonance. It's very pretty with flora colours, flower and butterfly prints & decorations which are English. My waiter explained that the menu however was not English but Mexican with some touches of Spanish. He recommended the braised short ribs moley but seemed a little changelled to explain to me what type of moley. His English was very understandable but seemed to have some vocabulary gaps. He was attentive. The butter with guava was not a choice I would have made but was very good. A sweet and salty spend with flaking salt. The duck with dumplings and Yuza sauce was a nice cold appetizer. It is a mix of Persimmon and apricot with some type of stringy filling in the dumpling. I did find it a little frustrating the runner was pouring the sauce at the table - even when other guests asked to do it themselves. I dislike asparagus and when presented with my steak asked what the chard spikes where- were they asparagus? My waiter assured not asparagus me that they were not in fact there was something in Spanish (I don't speak Spanish - I took French). I tasted a spike and asked someone else what they were to add to my mental list of things not to order. It turned out they were asparagus. As my views on asparagus preference - I was just annoyed. The steak itself was very tender, it was also very dry in the mouth. I could cut it was a butter knife but really question the kitchen choice to put the sauce on the pureed potatoes rather than the steak. I skipped dessert and paid the bill. I love the aesthetics, felt that the open kitchen was a bold choice given the style of the decorations but with my back to the place it wasn't too loud. The menu doesn't feel like a good fit. The place feels like afternoon tea and beef wellington should be menu items.

Yelp
One of my favorite meals at Disney. Citricos definitely has my heart. The decor is gorgeous, dark hues yet still light filled at the same time. I actually chose this restaurant for its decor when I was deciding on a dinner at the Grand Floridian and it did not disappoint. For drinks I liked the cucumber martini more than the passionfruit margarita. The passionfruit margarita was too sweet for me so I'd skip next time. There is bread, a cheddar brioche and sourdough both baked in house. They were divine and the kids loved it as well. My husband and I split the American Waygu and it was delicious. The kids got a cheese and pepperoni pizza. The pizza was ok, but not great (if you want a fantastic kids cheese pizza check out Summer House at Disney springs). My son wasn't a fan of the thick cut fries but liked the berries. My other son ate his broccoli and only picked at his sundae. Next time we should split a kids meal for them. Service was great. I felt like we were well taken care of. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I see why it's Michelin recommended.

Yelp
Whether your staying at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa or looking for a fine dining restaurant serving delicious food, I highly recommend making reservations to Citricos. Citricos has become one of my top favorite fine dining restaurants at Disney World. The ambiance is beautiful and soothing and I love that it's inspired by Mary Poppins. Not only is the ambiance and food worth a visit but the service is spectacular as well. Our server Claudia was absolute amazing! She was great with my kids and very attentive and personable. She went out of her way to make our dining experience one to remember. For the first course we ordered the Key West Pink Shrimp and Octopus in Huancaina, the Yuzu- Soy Roasted Duck Breast and the 1 oz. Royal Osetra Caviar. The Key West Pink Shrimp and Octopus in Huancaina is a great starter if you are looking for a light and fresh appetizer. The Yuzu- Soy Roasted Duck Breast is another great option and I love that it's presented in two ways. The dumplings were so flavorful and the duck breast was cooked perfectly and fork tender. Anytime I see caviar on the menu I have to order it. I ordered the Royal Osetra Caviar and enjoyed every bite, especially with all the great accompaniments. For entrees we ordered the Oak-grilled Filet Mignon, the Togarashi- spiced Cobia, the American Wagyu New York Strip, and my kids ordered the kid's steak with a side of mashed potatoes. The Oak-grilled Filet Mignon and American Wagyu New York Strip was so tender, flavorful and cooked perfectly. The Togarashi- spiced Cobia was absolutely delicious. The Cobia was soft and seasoned very well. The cashew puree and mushroom dashi broth paired great with the fish and brought the whole dish together. The kid's steaks were also cooked perfectly and very tender. We also ordered the Truffles and Pasta as an enhancement and I'm so glad we did. The Pasta is house-made Tagliatelle so the noodles were fresh and had the perfect texture. The pasta sauce was so creamy and the shaved seasonal truffles on top added extra beauty and flavor to the dish. For dessert we ordered the Macchiato and Citrus-Basil Cheesecake. If you love rich and decadent chocolate then I highly recommend the Macchiato. If you love citrus then the Citrus-Basil Cheesecake is the perfect way to end your meal. I enjoyed both desserts but because I love chocolate the Macchiato was my favorite. For mocktails the Purple Penguin was absolutely amazing and one of the best mocktails I've had! It was so tasty and refreshing. Everything we ordered was so good and I highly recommend trying them all.

Yelp
Citricos offers delicious food with an elegant blend of sweet and savory flavors. The standout dish for us was the guava short ribs--perfectly tender and packed with rich, balanced flavor. Food: 4.3 Service: 4.5 Ambiance: 4.6

Yelp
I came here twice within two weeks and took my mom here for Mother's Day since the food was so freaking good. Also, order the espresso martini! Once again, order the espresso martini!! This is finally a restaurant at a Disney hotel where the food is top notch, and not overpriced. The $16.50 espresso martini is as good as The Boathouse and Wine Bar George at Disney Springs. Those two have been the gold standard for so long, and now Citricos has joined the group. I love the blackened espresso taste, no baileys, foam on top, and the 3 beans. It's perfect. For an appetizer I had the $18 Southern-style Fried Hen. It was very good. Not a huge portion. I ate all of it in about 5 seconds. I've had the $54 Short Ribs twice and both time the food came out perfect. This is a top tier item that you can get at any Disney hotel or around Orlando. For desserts I've tried the $14.50 Macchiato. It's very good, but you must really like chocolate. However, the real star of the show for desserts is the $12 Guava Cheese Fusion. An absolute must order. Yum! It's only about a 12 minute walk from the entrance of Disney World. Or you can take the monorail or the boat. It's the last stop on the monorail to get here, or the first back to Magic Kingdom if you take it home. I have many more trips here in my future.

Yelp
What an absolutely stunning example of dining in WDW! Even if you show up after a long day of park adventures, humidity, and rides where you definitely end up getting wet, you will feel right at home at Citricos. Though next time, I'll make sure to dress to impress even Mary Poppins herself! The cocktails and snacks while we waited for our table were the first indicator we were in for a delicious treat! All of the staff were tremendous and we wanted for nothing the entire time! They were also incredibly mindful of my coconut allergy, which is obviously very appreciated. For my entree, I had the filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection--I prefer my steaks mid-rare which outside of WDW can be a gamble when it comes to accuracy, but I never worry about it when we're 'home.' Other highlights were the dessert, and that dreamy pineapple daiquiri! I cannot wait to return!!

Yelp
In a trip full of eating at a handful of signature dining options, this was my favorite in the Disney resorts. Grand floridian is home to some good eats, Citricos is my favorite among them. TL;DR 1. Best meal of the trip among several Disney resort signature dining spots. 2. High price point, expected for signature dining, but service was exceptional. 3. Complimentary bread & sea salt cultured butter--dangerously good. 4. Seared duck appetizer: Small but delicious; soy quail eggs were a standout. 5. Guava BBQ Short Rib: Rich, filling, and tasty, but only got half a Brussels sprout instead of a real portion. 6. Smoked Cauliflower: Unexpectedly amazing; do not skip it. Green curry sauce was phenomenal. 7. Dessert (Goat Cheese Cheesecake): Cool concept, but white chocolate shell was overpowering and artificial-tasting. 8. Overall: Favorite meal of the trip, despite a few minor gripes. Would absolutely return. As a signature dining option, price is obviously up there, so again, not a normal dinner night for most people as it can be a little cost prohibitive, however, I LOVED this meal. Of course, the service matched, everything was taken care of and you get that white glove service you look forward to with signature dining. First off, complimentary bread for the table, always gets extra points from me. They served some kind of special sea salt cultured butter, and was dangerously delicious. They have sourdough made in-house as well and it comes crusty, with a pillowy interior and again, just try not to eat the whole dang thing. They give a good amount, too. The seared duck appetizer was great. A little small, but it was expected. The soy quail eggs were exceptional and the accompanying vegetables and sauce really helped tie everything tother. The duck was insanely tender and flavorful, very happy I got it. The Guava BBQ Short Rib was top notch. A solid portion, the bed of creamy grits and the rich short rib are deceptively filling. The slaw was nice texturally, my only complaint is it says it comes with brussels sprouts (plural), I think I got 1 Brussel cut in half..? I wanted a green vegetable, not a garnish. That's my one gripe for a $52 entrée. Besides that, delicious and would order again. The dark horse of the dinner.. Smoked cauliflower?? When I tell you not to pass up the cauliflower, don't! Whatever they did to this stuff, it was amazing. The green curry sauce was unbelievable with the cauliflower and citrus creme fraiche. It's a sleeper, but trust me. Lastly, the dessert. Visually pleasing, but overall wouldn't order it again. I loved the flavor of the goat cheese cheesecake (I'll be stealing that idea) but as a whole it fell short with me. I am not a big white chocolate fan, but I tolerate it. It is easy to overdo it and you get that fake confectionary flavor lingering, it's just not enjoyable. Had some great qualities, but some not so great. That white chocolate shell was just meh. All in all, fantastic dinner, favorite of the trip (while not all comparable, we ate at toledo, topolino, boma, sebastians bistro, Wailulu bar and grill).

Yelp
First time for us at Citricos and man we should have been coming here for years! This was one of the best meals we have ever had at Disney. Citricos is located at the Grand Floridian Resort, and you will need a reservation, but you can always try for walk up. You can use any Disney transportation to get to the hotel or you can park, which at the moment, is highly annoying. You will need to park across the street and walk in. The restaurant is on the second floor in the back corner. If you see the lounge, Enchanted Rose, walk past and head to the back. We had a reservation but got there early. They stated they probably couldn't seat us early (despite it just opening and not full), so we decided to go sit at the bar. We told them we would just wait for our time. But, within 3 minutes, they came and got us for our table. It was a little irritating, since they had said no, and the bartender was making our drinks. But it wasn't that big of a deal. They let us finish paying then our server walked us to our table. He explained the theme, pointed out little touches and discussed his favorite dishes with us. Their theme is Mary Poppins with cushioned chairs, a private dining room, and her famous bag hanging on the coat rack. There is a small lounge area, a bar and then open kitchen. Love that touch! The chef even interacted with us as I tried to take a photo. Their menu is very slim, but perfect options. There are only a few selections to choose from, but everything sounded so good. Your meal starts with fresh baked bread served with guava butter topped with sea salt. Guava butter sounds weird, but it was so delicious partnered with that fresh baked bread. We started with an appetizer, the Spring Pea and Citrus Arancini. There were only 3 arancini balls and some sauce, it was a little small portion size for the price but delicious and something I would personally order each time. For entrees my wife ordered the Oak-grilled Filet Mignon, which came with Potato Purée, Seasonal Vegetable, Sherry-Guajillo Beef Jus. She is not a hue fan of mashed potatoes, so she asked to substitute the side that came with my dish, the Aged Cheddar Creamy Grits. Her filet was so tender, it literally melted in your mouth like butter. She thought it was the best filet she has ever had. I ordered the Guava-barbecued Short Ribs which had Aged Cheddar Creamy Grits, Roasted Poblano, Curtido Slaw, and Brussels Sprouts. I love short ribs, its one of my favorite beef dishes, and this one was so good. It literally fell off the bone, no knife needed. This was so delicious, and I would order it again and again. The grits were so delicious, they were more like a risotto not a grit. It was a thicker style grit, but if I could order these to go, just a side, I would do it all the time! We actually ordered dessert as well, which is rare, but I am glad we did. We chose the Profiterole Trio: Vanilla Custard, Dulce de Leche, Pumpkin Cream. Very light and delicious, not heavy at all. This was the perfect dessert if you are sort of full but want something sweet. Overall, this was an amazing dining experience. It was a perfect Valentine's Dinner and loved every single part of the meal. There was not one item we did not like, both plates, appetizer and dessert were clean! So full!!! The food was perfect! Add this to your list! ACES!

Yelp
Came back to celebrate my wife's birthday and it was still one of the best special occasion restaurants in Disney World. We got the Passion Margarita, Blossom Martini, Yuzu-Soy Roasted Duck Breast, Citrus-Cured Hamachi, Domestic Fish (Fish of the day?), and the Malbec Guava-Barbecued Short Ribs, and the Truffle Macaroni & Cheese. Every single thing was amazing. The drinks were solid. The short ribs and the truffle mac and cheese were my favorite parts but there wasn't one thing I wouldn't order again. The service was top tier here just like last time we came here. It was a wonderful experience and since we came a little later it felt it was a little more intimate. Citricos is a must if you're out to celebrate.

Yelp
We recently came to Citricos for Valentine's Day, and it was our first time ever dining here. We had one of the best meals we have ever had on Disney property. This location is at the Grand Floridian Resort. You will more than likely need a reservation, but you can always try for walk up. Parking at the moment for the Grand is annoying, you have to park across the street and walk in. I believe in the morning, there is a golf cart that goes back and forth but I have not seen one in the evening. However, I learned with my mom and dad, if you have a handicapped parking pass, you get free valet so go through the security instead and tell them you are dining. The actual restaurant is on the second floor in the back corner. If you see Enchanted Rose, walk past that and head towards the back. My only issue and it was more of an annoyance, is that we had a reservation, and we got there about 45-minutes early. We asked if we could be seated early and if not no issues with that. They had just opened and were completely empty. She told us she would have to ask and really didn't know. We said not to worry we will go to the bar. And then we literally ordered drinks and as the bartender was making them, they came and got us to say our table was ready! WHAT!! It was literally the only thing and honestly was not that big of a deal. Once we had paid, we went back to check and this is where some of their amazing service comes in. They take you to your server who walks you to your table. He was so nice, explaining everything, their theme of Mary Poppins and making conversation. Their theme is Mary Poppins, but subtle touches. Their chairs are cushioned and more comfortable, sort of patterned like her bag. They have a smaller bar that you can sit at as well as a small lounge area with a few tables. They also have an open kitchen which I love! And there is a private dining room that has a large table and private doors. Perfect for larger groups special events. Their menu is not overly large. Only a few items in each section but the food is absolutely fantastic! Very delicious and honestly nothing bad to say about any of it. The servers do not rush you through ordering either. We started with an appetizer and just ordered that. He took our dinner order later, almost after we were finished with the appetizer. They also start you with fresh baked bread and a guava butter. For appetizer we ordered the Spring Pea and Citrus Arancini. They came with 3 as well as some sauce. These were absolutely delicious. Very creamy, cheesy and wonderful flavor. My only issue is there were only 3 of them for $17 and they were not overly large, probably the size of a meatball. I felt it was very overpriced. For entrees I ordered the Oak-grilled Filet Mignon, which came with Potato Purée, Seasonal Vegetable, Sherry-Guajillo Beef Jus. I substituted the potato puree for the side that my husband had on his dish- Aged Cheddar Creamy Grits. This was hands down the best Filet I have ever had. It literally melted like butter; it was so tender. The grits were so good, they were almost like a risotto not a grit. But overall, I 100% loved this dish and would order it again and again. My husband ordered the Guava-barbecued Short Ribs which had Aged Cheddar Creamy Grits, Roasted Poblano, Curtido Slaw, and Brussels Sprouts. This was also extremely tender and fell right off the bone. He loved this dish and would order it again as well. We are not usually an appetizer and dessert, but our server talked us into it. We were incredibly full, but I am so glad we ordered it. We chose the Profiterole Trio: Vanilla Custard, Dulce de Leche, Pumpkin Cream. Wow, so light and so delicious. I personally did not love the pumpkin cream one, but it wasn't bad. I would prefer two of one of the other options. Overall, this was an amazing dining experience. We absolutely loved every ounce of our meal, our server was amazing, the chefs in the kitchen were engaging, one even posing for a photo. The food was perfect! We truly did not have a negative with the taste of food. I did think the appetizer was small for the price, but it was still delicious. I would 100% make sure this gets added to your list!!!

Yelp
Katrina from Brooklyn in the bar is what service is all about! Came in without a reservation for some drinks. Got lucky and ended up with a cute little loveseat and 2 club chairs. She was so attentive and made the best drinks! She smiled the entire time whether infront of or behind the bar making up creations. We will for sure be back to see her!! Absolutely the best customer service around!

Yelp
If you're looking for a fine dining experience while visiting the Grand Floridian at Disney, Cítricos is the place to be. From the elegant ambiance to the attentive and professional waitstaff, every detail felt upscale and thoughtfully curated. I ordered a variety of dishes, and each one was absolutely delicious. Even the bread service stood out--especially the guava butter, which was a clear 10 out of 10. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by, and I'll definitely be returning myself.

Yelp
It's probably been about 25 years since I've dined at Citricos. Obviously I don't remember much about my first dining experience there because I totally forgot it was on the 2nd floor of the Grand Floridian. So once we finally found it, we checked in for our dinner reservation to celebrate our anniversary. As we were walked to our table, the hostess explained the redesign of the restaurant to a "light" theming of Mary Poppins Returns. It's not overly noticeable, but we did walk past the coatrack behind glass that she pointed out had Mary's bag, umbrella, and hat. The chairs all had floral backs, the rest of the décor was elegant, and the tableware was pink. Our server Christina was excellent. She was attentive, professional, and had a great sense of humor. I would normally order wine, but the liquor drinks were the same price or cheaper. Go figure. So to start, I ordered the Cucumber Vodka Martini and my partner ordered the Pineapple Daiquiri. My martini was heavy on the vodka but delicious and refreshing. Complimentary bread was brought to the table with guava-flavored butter, and we ordered the Spring Pea and Citrus Arancini. There were three arancini balls included, and they were delicious. For our entrees, we both ordered the Domestic Sustainable Fish, which was tilefish that evening. It was very flavorful with a spiced crust. The risotto on the side came with shrimp mixed in. Also delicious. For dessert, we tried the Guava-Cheese Fusion, which was a guava/goat cheese cheesecake with a lavender coating. It was very creamy, but not overly rich. It was a great dessert choice for us to share. The thin crust on the bottom had a lot of flavor to it as well. All in all, it was a memorable anniversary dinner. We even got to see the fireworks from Magic Kingdom out the window that was across the room. Now about the Grand Floridian parking situation. Because we drive by it all the time going to WDW from Horizon West, I know that guests dining at the Grand Floridian have to park across the street in what used to be just the cast member parking lot. So we didn't waste our time going to the main entrance at the GF, and I certainly was not going to pay to valet my car when we were already going to be dropping a couple hundred dollars for dinner. But it is extremely tacky to make ANY guest park across the street when they are paying an extreme amount of money to dine at any restaurant at the GF, the most expensive resort on WDW property. There was plenty of parking available still in the main parking lot, and the convention center parking lot. I know they are working on the road alongside the GF, blah, blah, blah. But this has been YEARS. I won't deduct any stars for my dining experience, but know that this is a known frustration for GF guests with dinner reservations. It's not a grand first impression.

Yelp
This was my first time at one of the more "upscale" Grand Floridian restaurants, and it did NOT disappoint! The atmosphere in here is the perfect amount of elegance while still allowing folks in their Disney gear to dine comfortably. Our server was attentive and didn't miss a beat! The bread to start came with a delicious fruity butter, and we started with the duck and pork belly appetizers. Both were amazing! The pork belly melted in your mouth and both dishes had great medleys of flavor. For entrees, I went for the filet at the suggestion of the server, and it lived up to her recommendation! The flavor was smoky and the sauce was great, and I always appreciate a good potato side with a steak. It was cooked perfectly and it's one of the better steaks I have had on Disney property! My boyfriend went for the short ribs, which he also loved and raved about the flavor of. We shared what I believe was the macchiato dessert, and it was a tasty end to the meal and definitely had the "high quality dessert" feel to it. Overall, this was a great date night spot and would be an excellent choice for a special occasion as well. Everything felt high quality and elevated! Cant wait to go back!

Yelp
Amazing service and great drinks! We had a great night with fantastic service and the ambiance was so special and unique. We were waiting for the Enchanted Rose, and what a great place to wait fir our table to be called at The enchanted Rose. We had a few drinks and although they were over-priced, they were exceedingly enjoyable! Also, we had the smoked cauliflower and Truffle Mac-n- Cheese (which was STUPENDOUS!)

Yelp
I was running around all sorts of Disney resorts, looking at all the beautiful gingerbread structures they had out for the holidays. Well, I got hungry and had to go through to trials and tribulations of finding somewhere to eat on Disney property spur of the moment. It was a chore, but I did it. I nabbed a resy for Citricos for a quick meal. We got seated, ordered some drinks, and decided to just get a few apps to share. The first one we got was the some sort of arancini. Crispy, delicious, served with a nice little sauce and a nicely dressed salad. No complaints. The second one, I'm not sure. Whatever it was, it's not on the current menu, but it sure it was delicious. It sure looked delicious. And the third thing, still on their menu today, was the Yuzu-Soy Roasted Duck Breast (Braised Duck Dumplings, Butternut Tonkotsu, Soy Quail Egg, Sesame Aïoli). This was a very interesting dish. Overall, this was a nice restaurant. I would be more interested in trying some of the entrees the next time I come back.

Yelp
Pros: Absolutely beautiful restaurant in an absolutely beautiful Disney resort hotel. Upper class Disney service was on point. We felt very catered to. The food tasted good! Cons: The composure of the dishes was a little odd. Maybe Disney trying too hard to impress their higher class clientele. I'm sure they appreciated it. Tips: The arancini and the dessert were very good! I recommend these, if you come here.

Yelp
One of the fine dining restaurant at Disney's Grand Floridian. Located on the 2nd floor of the main building. They request that your attire is nicer than jeans, shorts, flip flops and t-shirts, but apparently will allow you to dine however you come. We came dressed for fine dining, but not many did. Patrons dining should want to show respect to type of restaurant that it is. The decor is elegant. Some of the menu items are quite expensive, but worth it. If you like caviar, they have it. They have an impressive wine and cocktail list. They serve bread with their own homemade guava butter and it is amazing. The chef and cast members here are exceptionally fabulous and attentive. I would definitely dine here again.

Yelp
This was my first time dining at Cítricos located at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. Our server Rony was excellent. The setting is serene and quite lovely. Understated and a subtle nod to Mary Poppins. My food was exquisite. The ingredients fresh and vibrant. It was the type of meal that your thoughts travel back to again and again.

Yelp
We visited citricos on a Friday night, and we sat at the lounge. Our bartender was very attentive even with the crowd. He kept up very well with the line, and we were never left, wanting for anything. I ordered a couple of Negroni's, and I very much enjoyed the truffle mac & cheese. This mac & cheese was amazing, it looked kind of strange when it first came out because of the foam on top, but once you give it a mix, I promise it is one of the best travel mac & cheese I've had in Orlando. I would definitely go back and enjoy some more of the food items from the menu, maybe even for a sit down dinner.

Yelp
This is our first time eating "fine dining" at Citricos at Grand Floridian. Located on the 2nd floor, the decor was "Mary Poppins" and the food is a fusion between Spanish and Mediterranean. This place did not disappoint however, be prepared to spend some money. The restaurant does have a dress code (no swimwear). Javier was our server and he was great. We both started with an adult beverage and opted for the Passion Margarita. It was well balanced between passion fruit, orange and tequila. It was delicious. That beverage was $17.99. Our waiter started us of with a basket of bread (ciabatta & multi grain) with a side of guava butter. The guava butter was sweet and reminded me of cream cheese but it was delicious. As an appetizer, we ordered the sweet pea arancini. A lot of flavor, texture and well balanced. As our meal, we ordered the Guava Short Ribs and The filet minion. The guava short rib came with a cheesy grit & both combinations was to die for. The short rib was tender and just melted in your mouth. The cheesy grit was savory and broke up the fat of the short rib. The filet was cooked to perfection. We also had to get the truffle mac and cheese. If you like truffles, it's a must order. Definitely one of those nice meals to splurge on. Our meal including drinks was pricey but worth it.

Yelp
Citricos was wonderful! Located inside of the Grand Floridian Hotel Resort and Spa. I was there for a work conference and was fortunate to dine 2 nights there! We dined in the Mary Poppins room and it was absolutely beautiful with every attention to detail. Citricos is beautiful on the inside, the ambiance is amazing! The staff was super nice, so knowledgeable about the menu and drinks! There is an amazing water view where you can see the fireworks show from that is nightly. The food was delicious and the desserts were amazing as well with gorgeous presentation. Definitely check it out if you stay at the Grand Floridian Resort!

Yelp
Citricos is one of the best fine dining restaurants found in Orlando. Located in the beautiful Grand Floridian Hotel, the experience is not one to be missed. With some of the best service in the area, you will be pampered throughout all of your meal. The food is as beautiful as it is exquisite to the taste buds. Pass some of the other restaurants everyone is raving about in Disney and go here to have your mind blown.

Yelp
Also one of our favorites at Disney in the Grand Floridian resort. Great food, many gluten free options, excellent service and nice views.

Yelp
The Grand Floridian was undergoing some lobby construction in June so I didn't see any special displays that they are famous for. The restaurant was on the 2nd floor. Restrooms were were closed so had to go downstairs. The service was just ok. The waiter seemed to be bored and on autopilot but friendly. The food was generally good: the guava butter was the star. Had the soup as a starter, the popcorn in the corn truffle soup seemed a bit stale or hard to chew. The roulade chicken was really dry and the hush puppies were deep fried so wasn't that crispy texture they normally are. More like a dried ball of cornbread. Others had the hamachi crudo and filet mignon and were happy with those dishes. Generally, it seems the Disney restaurants offer the same things: steak, dry chicken dish, pork chop, salmon and something vegetarian. The Mary Poppins theme was minimal. The chairs had some corset and flowers but I didn't see or feel any of the theme in the food or wait staff or food. I guess I expected more and was disappointed.

Yelp
Another great meal, wonderful food and drinks, outstanding server Marian, in a magical setting. I loved my white fish over a fresh shrimp risotto. Most highly recommended!

Yelp
Nice restaurant inside the main building at grand Floridian resort. As expected, the staff are practically impeccable. Drinks were strong. I had the mahi special which was just okay, not moist and flavorful as you'd expect, was on the drier side. Definitely not my best meal at wdw. We also had the short ribs which were quite good, especially the sauce. We ordered a few cocktails, and they were quite strong. The ambiance is quite nice.

Yelp
Here I am again with another Disney restaurant review, I will admit I was skeptical about trying Cítricos because I had not heard or seen anything about this restaurant, but as they as say "When in Rome ...". I wasn't disappointed one bit. Kept it simple but the food items we ordered were Very Good. The Filet and Guava short met all expectations, the Truffle Mac and cheese was a great side dish. The 1806 Old fashioned is a drink I highly recommend. If you like Passion Fruit then try the Passion Fruit Margarita. Them ambiance is very nice as well. Btw if you time your dinner reservation just right you will catch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from your table. Enjoy Folks !

Yelp
I came with a group and dined in the Sommelier Room, which is a private dining experience featuring many things off the menu plus some great additions, and WOW. It was one of the best and most unique culinary experiences I've had. The Sommelier Room was an amazing experience and I highly recommend to anyone who has the means to do so. It was 3-4 hours and 9 courses, with a featured wine or zero-proof pairing for each course. Each course was presented by the chef and the som, and every cast member we met was fantastic. It was some of the best food I've ever had, and although 9 courses is a lot, it was perfectly paced and presented. It was a one-of-a-kind experience that I wish I could do over and over again. They also were very accommodating for dietary restrictions, especially with the menu being pre-set. The room was beautiful and in a prime spot in the restaurant. Amazing!!!

Yelp
We have dined here twice and both experiences have been exceptional. Wonderful service with some of the best food at Disney. The restaurant has a sophisticated and modern atmosphere that's a great experience at the Grand Floridian. Started with the appetizers of Arancini and Pork Belly which were so fresh and delicious. The Chicken Roulade is one of the best chicken dishes I've had. The bread service is also stellar - I can't get enough of the olive bread. For drinks, the house made orange soda is also a deliciously refreshing non-alcoholic option. Dessert was delicious and sophisticated as well, with a variety of profiteroles and the Macchiato plate standing out.

Yelp
This is a fancier resturant on property so they make things extra expensive and cut portions. We've eaten here a few times, the food is good but not the best on property. Overall I would recommend going somewhere else.

Yelp
Went back to Cítricos on Saturday 2/24/24. Had a dinner reservation. It was extremely busy and loud making it difficult for my husband with cochlear implants to hear anything. So, if you have any hearing issues, please keep the time you make your reservation in mind. Our waiter was nice and fast, but there were long periods where we didn't see him. The food was overall delicious. Husband had the short rib again. I ordered the shrimp and chorizo risotto with fish it was delicious. We ordered a side of truffle Mac and cheese and it was the first item that we did not enjoy. Shell pasta in a milk creamy runny sauce. It did not taste cheesy. The truffle overpowered the other flavors. It wasn't pleasant. For dessert we order the macchiato. It was delicious. We will definitely be returning, just at an earlier time and being mindful of what we order. Still recommend.

Yelp
The food and wine pairing was perfect. They completed each other wonderfully. The service was excellent and we were seated exactly at our reservation time. We will be going back again. I'm shocked they only have 100 reviews.

Yelp
Service was excellent- ask for Claudia Food: Sweet corn soup: served with pickled ginger and fennel oil. Sweet Puréed soup. We all liked this. 9/10 Guava barbecue short ribs: served with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. great flavors and cooked perfectly 10/10 Pork belly appetizer: my favorite served with a sweet potato and plantain croquette. Drizzled with verde sauce. 10/10 Drinks: orange blossom martini. This is a smooth rum with honey orange blossom. Refreshing not too sweet. 9/10.

Yelp
We dined here a year ago and everything was fabulous. We decided to go back last weekend and unfortunately it just wasn't the same. The food was OK, not amazing, and the service was not good at all- we are still talking about it. For an app I tried the hamachi due to the good reviews. It was ok, sort of like sashimi but I had to stop eating as eventually it was getting too fishy (not fresh?) and I just didn't love the taste. My partner had the plum salad and enjoyed it. For meals he got the filet which he liked and I got the mahi. The mahi is was very bland and the side was cold. I think the mahi would have been better if it had been plated over the sauce, but instead they plated the cold potatoes on top which soaked up a lot of it. The bit that I could get was good and made the fish better, but there just wasn't enough. I did have to ask for fresh potatoes, and they were ok, but nothing great. We did a side of the truffle Mac which was the best part of the meal. For dessert I tried the apple rose which was very good and my partner got the chocolate dessert which he liked. We ordered some cocktails, and honestly would have ordered more, but our server was MIA majority of the meal. Between when I received my food and the next time he returned over an hour later. We were there 2.5hrs total while the table next to us sat down towards the end of my entree and by our dessert were ordering their dessert- it was crazy. We watched as 3 managers stood around chatting it up, not helping at all. Our first drinks sat at the bar for 15+ minutes as the bartender just kept adding more and more drinks to the bar and no one grabbed or helped. I watched as management literally stood there NEXT TO the drinks leaning on the bar and doing nothing. At times the manager would even go on his phone and then other times two other managers would come up and they would just chat. It was very upsetting and honestly horrible customer service. Our server was nice, but I think in the end due to management being poor, he was overworked and not well trained, so the service was just poor. He didn't even know there was a special cocktail at the time, which I asked about, and was told didn't exist, while there was an advertisement on the bar and around the hotel. This comes down to bad management. After dinner we just went next door and got more drinks and better service because we weren't about to spend anymore time here. We've been recommending Citricos for the last year to people, probably not anymore.

Yelp
Citricos was an amazingly delightful experience on our first evening in Orlando. It says a lot when you see a couple who lives in Orlando on a date next to you at a Disney resort - they said they frequent the location and love it. As for my friend and I, this was a great way to kick off the week. The atmosphere is relaxed yet refined with friendly cast members there to help you from the start to the finish. I loved the design of the décor, and the beautiful colors of everything from the dishes to the drapes just eased you in. We were greeted by the nicest group and only had to wait about 5 minutes after our check in time. We were walked across the huge restaurant filled with great smells and people really enjoying their experiences. We were greeted by other servers, kitchen staff, and just about everyone who worked there welcomed us. We secured a table by the window with a view of the lake and harbor, along with several flowerbeds and people enjoying the warm summer evening. We ordered the Berkshire Pork Belly appetizer to share, and my oh my, that was a showstopper in itself. I highly recommend that as a must try. I ordered the Butter Poached Mahi Mahi which was perfectly cooked and seated in a light sauce with the slightest hint of grapefruit to compliment the fish. The presentation was beautiful and the dish was just a gift for my pallet. My friend ordered the House Made Rigatoni, a dish that included seasonal vegetables, mushrooms, and a plant based "egg yolk" - yes, the eye would be fooled to believe it was an actual egg, yet it was tomato presented in the molecular cooking style. Not only delicious but also no easy feat - molecular cooking is an art! We paired our dish with a delicious white wine. I don't remember which one it was, but their wine menu is stocked with some of the finest yet affordable finds. While we passed on dessert, our server brought us the cutest little candies as we were both making this our birthday trip, and she gave us a candle to make our wish on. As we left for the evening, just as we were greeted, we were thanked by everyone on our way out, including from the kitchen staff (when really, we should have been back there thanking them!) Such a pleasant evening! From start to finish, from the first bite to the last, Citricos delivered. I would recommend reserving one night for a special dinner here to really take it all in and be treated so well while filling you up with delicious, fresh, nutritious food. Bon Appetit!

Yelp
Absolutely love the remodel of this location. It's beautiful and provided a wonderful lounge area to grab a drink or a bite without a reservation. We had a reservation in thisnvisit and were seated in the main dining room with great views of the property. We opted to share multiple courses so we could try more options and everything was delicious. The corn chowder was the star and we would stop back just for that. The service is always great and the location isn't loud so it's a wonderful place to stop in for a lovely meal.

Yelp
I've had dinner here a few times and it's been delicious. The service is attentive and the cocktails are definitely worth trying. I like dining at the bar and the few times I've dined at Citrico's the bartenders were exceptional. We had a spot on French Martini and the well-balanced Orange Blossom Martini with Diplomatico Rum. My favorite dish is the Smoked Duck Breast - the fresh tagliatelle pasta is absolute perfection. I enjoyed the Wild Mushroom Arancini, the Guava-barbecued Short Ribs are tasty and tender. The flavors in this dish are very satisfying: umami. The Roulade of Chicken is a safe yet delicious choice. The Orange Blossom Flan is perfection! The ambiance is elegant yet welcoming and the Lounge is beautifully decorated. Citrico's pays homage to the flavors of Florida in a Grand Floridian way.

Yelp
As someone who strictly eats at Grand Flo Café when visiting the resort, Cítricos was a first! But I couldn't recommend the experience enough to any foodies out there. The drinks are also exceptionally unique, which is always a highlight & something I look out for. I didn't get any photos of our actual meals as they were insanely delicious but the filet & short rib were exquisite! Our server went out of her way to explain the entire menu, the features of the restaurant, and helped us choose the right dessert: the apple rose was the perfect way to end a practically perfect in every way evening!! I will say - depending on where you sit (i.e. towards the back vs. closer to lounge seating) noise levels will vary; we were in the back and it was cozy. But that's the nature of a space such as this! Looking forward to trying the lounge next time too!!

Yelp
What a night. Citricos was an absolute delight. Nadim was an amazing server, a true professional with product knowledge and outstanding customer service. Chef Andres was a delight, sharing his story with us and educating our table about each menu selection. The fish and risotto was one of the finest meals I've had. The duck was cooked to perfection. The guava cheesecake was light and delicious. I can't recommend this stunningly beautiful facility enough. Everyone on their team was engaging and guest focused to the highest degree.

Yelp
Such a relaxing and classy dining experience. If it's just adults, choose this over Space 220, Be Our Guest, or CRT. All the food was fabulous. Our server was a little too stiff, could have been a bit friendlier but otherwise this was made up for by the flavorful and well plated food. The restaurant is also gorgeous with plenty of Mary Poppins theming. Come here, luxuriate and try some yummy eats.

Yelp
The service was great. The place is pretty and the views are spectacular. The food I felt was super over rated. The presentation was mediocre the taste was ok. The salad I ordered tasted like it was still in the patch. There were 4 of us. No alcohol. No dessert and the bill was a little of $400 which is not unusual for us. But the quality was just not there. We had someone in wheelchair. Told them we could park the wheel chair upfront if the table was close. They told us ok. Then they sat us literally at the furthest table from the entrance. Didn't say anything.

Yelp
We absolutely loved Citricos. The food was mouthwateringly delicious and very fresh. The smoked duck appetizer especially was to die for - the duck was incredibly tender and the pasta it was served with paired beautifully. I also loved the Mahi Mahi - I never had Mahi Mahi before this, but it wasn't a "fishy" tasting fish. It felt very light and fresh, and paired with the butter reduction it was delightful. Service here was attentive and fantastic. Our server kept telling us fun facts about the Mary Poppins themed restaurant and their different menu items. The ambiance was incredible relaxed for a Disney restaurant and we loved that as we felt that we could unwind and have a great date night at ease. We'd absolutely come back to Citricos the next time we visit Orlando, the experience is phenomenal.

Yelp
The food was outstanding!!! So delicious and tasty. Pork chops were cooked perfectly. The restaurant was very classy & our server was wonderful.

Yelp
The food was amazing. Especially the Mac and cheese we had to share for the table. Really appreciated all the hidden Mary Poppins details in the design of the furniture and architecture of the Resturaunt. The only downside was our waiter was a bit too judgmental of what we wanted to order. Other than that a great experience.

Yelp
Another very good meal at Citricos. While this one maybe didn't quite live up to my last few experiences, it was still an overall excellent meal. Service was quite good, albeit not amazing. At a restaurant with these prices I would expect amazing. Drinks went empty a few times. My steak was over cooked and when I mentioned that to the server she immediately took care of it so I appreciated that. For the starter I got the strawberry salad. Unexpectedly delicious! The combo of goat cheese, strawberries and greens was refreshing. For the main meal I went with the New York Strip. As I said before I ordered it medium rare and it came out more medium but they took care of that for me. The potato purée was nice and the sauce around the edge of the plate was also great. For dessert we got the apple rose. It was nice, but not my favorite dessert. The apples were slightly over cooked, but the coconut maple ice was a very nice touch. I absolutely recommend Citricos at the grand Floridian. It's always a great experience, and if you time it right you may even be able to watch the fireworks here!

Yelp
My mom and I enjoyed a nice meal here last weekend. We started with some cocktails. I had the Amaro Grapefruit Spritz. I could have drank that all night! Mom had a margarita. She drank it before I could get a photo! I did have a sip and I would have ordered that as well! We started with the Berkshire Pork Belly. Let's s just say the portion was not enough! It was so good I would have ordered 3 to make up a meal. The potato croquette was a nice compliment to this dish. I had the strawberry salad. The goat cheese was a nice addition to the bottom of the plate and I enjoyed that it wasn't the star. The citricos salad was just a pretty salad. The Guava Barbecued Short Ribs...probably my 2 favorite short rib on Disney property. I liked the cabbage salad that was on the side. Mom has the Oak Fired Filet Mignon. She was happy it came with asparagus. The server asked if she wanted it butterflied and it was grilled to mom's specifications. The service is the only reason why this is not a 5 star review. Our server was hard to hear and not overly attentive. He didn't have a number of tables. He kind of seemed like he was on his own time but when he did want to work he would rush us.

Yelp
Well I wanted it to be better than what it was! It was nice but could be more. I prefer the other options like narcoossee or Victoria & Alberts at grand Floridian. The food was good and the service was good but just needed more

Yelp
Stopped by for to go drinks! they were a great option at the grand floridian. Compared to Enchanted Rose it was a bit more expensive than those drinks. Ambiance is fantastic Mary Poppins themed with a great view

Yelp
Citricos is located at the Grand Floridian Hotel. We had to wait months in advance to book reservations. This place was amazing! It did not disappoint and was an A+ all around. I love the Mary Poppins decor. The food and drink was sooo good. We had such a great experience here.
