The Best Hotel Restaurants and Bars in Paris - Eater

"A seafood crudo bar named after a Renoir painting, located in south Pigalle. It offers Brittany oysters, fish rillettes, and shrimp tartines with sparkling wine." - Lindsey Tramuta

Citrons et Huitres - Review - 9th Arr. - Paris - The Infatuation

"Head to this casual oyster and wine bar between Pigalle and Montmartre for a snack after navigating between the windmills and secret passageways of Montmartre (and consider timing your visit for the weekend, when they’re open for continuous service). Inside, you’ll find a high-ceilinged space that’s painted ocean blue with red swivel stools and seafood specials scribbled on the mirrored walls. In addition to French oysters, there’s often a cleverly crafted crudo on the menu (think smoked salmon tataki or a dorade ceviche topped with sumac) as well as the requisite shelled shrimp and bulots. The latter come with one of two housemade mayonnaises: a mild one with dashi, and another with tabasco." - Sara Lieberman

Very aesthetic place with an easy concept and during hot summer days, really well placed. You can enjoy oysters and wine with some sun outside :) prices were reasonabke and the oysyers were of high quality!! Maybe could use more lemons or sides to try with the oysters (used to have bread and butter on the side) but otherwise perfect and friendly staff as well🫶

I have found the shorter, curly, dark haired male, working behind the counter at the oyster bar this evening to be extremely discourteous. So much so that I am left wondering if his demeanor is due to my being African-American. Even with a reservation and a table opening, he insists that we sit at the counter. I expect to be treated equal to all other patrons and for proper courtesy to be extended. I am incredibly disappointed with this interaction. I have been treated well by all hotel personnel and staff at Maggie's.

Amazing from the moment I stepped inside this place! The aura, staff and wine - but the food (!) another level (and also very affordable) I had oysters, shrimps, ceviche, and the haddock. Next time I will definitely go for the crab roll.. A perfect place to spend the evening!

An experience you need in modern dining world. Oysters are exceptional! The food is modern, up to date, well balanced, full of flavours and unique. Creativity behind each dish is 100% and people behind it, regardless what they do are dedicated to their craft of hosting guests, looking after them, describing the food etc. A highlight on Parisian food scene. A great example of the future today! Citrons et Huitres is a great example of good taste in every aspect - is it the food, people, interior or wines…

Great experience and super service! The dishes were truly amazing. The chef is truly an artist and he was really nice and took the time to explain all the dishes.

To be honest, we were taken by surprise by the size of it. Just seeing it on Instagram, we thought it’s more like a restaurant. Plus it was totally empty on a Sunday afternoon… Once you enter it done, welcome to a different world. Great music, amazing staff, delicious food. We’re definitely back…rather sooner then later
