The 26 Best Restaurants in Anchorage, Alaska | Eater

"Among the oldest restaurants in Anchorage, Club Paris has one of the last neon signs that used to be characteristic of downtown Anchorage businesses. This dark, eclectic steakhouse has a full bar, a retro feel, and a lot of longtime regulars. It specializes in classic cocktails, Alaska seafood, and expertlycooked filet mignon. Reservations recommended." - Julia O'Malley

Walked around and saw this quite nice place the night before, due to lining up, decided to come back the next day for lunch. Still lines around 1pm with no reservation, very popular place. Was looking forward to the king crab legs, but not available for lunch menu, ordered lunch steaks instead, was also nice. Great place to recommend!

Google
They have lots if steaks to choose from but since i come from the Midwest I get steak all the time so instead I went with the scallops cerole.

I am not from Alaska. I was just visiting. I decided to stop here with a couple of coworkers. This has been my favorite restaurant so far. Although it was a bit pricey, my steak was tender and amazing. I tried the filet mignon teriyaki steak tips. I also got to try the stuffed mushrooms which were also great. My steak fries also fantastic and they also have a sweet red wine which I loved because I often cannot drink wines at restaurants as they don't offer my favorite which is a sweet red. I am extremely impressed with the food Service was very quick with not a lot of waiting for your food. They also had bread which was also great. I had a really good experience here. I only spent just over 80 bucks for my food and a tip and two bottles of wine. The sweet red came in these little mini wine bottles.

Google
A decent steak restaurant. The outside neon sign, and darkened windows can lead to a misunderstanding of what this establishment is! However, opening the door reveals a bar and restaurant with a large menu of offerings. We had sirloin steak and ribeye. Big meat portions, but with small sides included. Extra side dishes are available.

Club Paris gets it right, every time! You just don't get a better made steak in Alaska. The food is great, and the service is great -

I love this place, waitstaff is knowledgeable and fun, king crab and filets are the best! Halibut is also very good. Great size portions

Google
Club Paris is worth all the hype!! I went in with my friend around the dinner rush and the hostess informed us that she was shuffling people around and there would be space at the bar since all the tables were reserved. The bartender “K” was so sweet, welcoming, and hospitable. The steamed clams were amazing and the fresh bread was so fluffy and warm. The au jus for the prime rib was incredible. The macadamia pie was okay. The “la femme” is so chic and the entire restaurant is so intimate and romantic! I would recommend making a reservation to eat here, but if that’s not possible walking in to see if there is bar seating is also an option.

Paul Mandrell

Google
We had a great experience at Club Paris! The prime rib was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The filet mignon was equally impressive, buttery soft and cooked just right. The atmosphere was absolutely fantastic, with a classic, cozy vibe that made for a great night out. The service was okay—not bad, but nothing exceptional. The only real downside was the French onion soup, which was way overseasoned and overpowered the rest of the flavors. Other than that, the food and ambiance make this a solid spot for steak lovers in Anchorage!

Yelp
Club Paris is hands-down one of the best dining experiences in Anchorage. The steaks are next-level! perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. You can tell they take pride in every plate they put out. The crab-stuffed halibut is also a must-try. The service is impeccable; professional, warm, and attentive without being overbearing. You feel genuinely taken care of from the moment you walk in. As for the ambience, it's got that classic, cozy steakhouse vibe with a touch of old Anchorage charm. Dim lighting, wood paneling, and just enough intimacy to make it feel special without being stuffy. Whether it's a date night or a celebration, Club Paris never disappoints. Worth every penny.

Yelp
I had an amazing meal during a work trip last week. I sat at the bar, which was full of locals. I ordered a glass of wine and the petite filet. My filet was cooked to perfection and was one of the best filets I've had in my entire life. I almost went back, but made myself eat halibut at other restaurants the rest of the week, since it's hard to find in restaurants in the lower 48. :) Overall, this is a must visit to try a wonderful local restaurant in town. Note that it does fill up, so reservations are recommended! I felt lucky to snag a bar seat!

Yelp
This place is classic, quirky and the food is top quality. Reservations are made via telephone and open Monday morning at 9 AM for the week. It looked like plenty of people sit at the bar and have their meal there. The servers all seem to have individual personalities. The food is very good. My fresh Alaskan halibut was amazing. We saw crab legs go by a few times and they were huge. My companion had a steak that was very good. Also, we shared Key Lime pie that had a great crust. Plus the filling was not too sweet, perfect tartness. Be aware...Anchorage has a new law: anybody who orders a drink, will be carded. I was with an 87-year-old and they were not served as they did not have an ID on them.

Yelp
I'm so sad. We returned this year with our Alaska family and were really disappointed. The table was better this year but the food quality and service went way downhill in comparison to our visit last year. I was dreaming of last years halibut, so moist and flaky. I order the same this year and it was dry and hard around the edges. My husband didn't get to eat with the rest of his table because from what we can decipher after the dinner was said and done was that the steaks for the table got messed up. We as a table felt like our waitress really didn't want to deal with our big table. I will sum up my return visit y saying that there was nothing extraordinary this time around and needless to say we won't return.

Yelp
If you don't know about this place, you are missing out. Wine menu kills. Get a big red, French onion soup, and 8 oz. filet at the bar if you are by yourself. Share the bottle and make friends. If you want a table call promptly at 3pm and leave a message. Otherwise, prepare to wait. It is worth it. Inside is classic steakhouse. Wood panel, black and white photos on the walls, carpet that makes a frat house floor look and smell like marble tile. Don't miss it!

Yelp
Had set reservations and was seated immediately Great service very attentive to drink refills ordered salads Caesar and green salad both great portions the steaks well seasoned and tender rice is in point and potato brought home. Pretty busy which speaks to how well the community enjoys being able to come on in! Great for intimate setting or a great time with friends. Recommend for a good time and great steak!

Yelp
Club P is the spot if you are looking for Steak or anything of the sort! We came in and had the special with some onion soup and it was all deliciously. Soup was very tasty and the tenderloins were cook to perfection. I also got a side of shrimp which was delicious but it was $11 for 3 shrimp so not sure if I'd do it again. The ambiance was perfect for date night so definitely come check this place out! I hear they also have very good burgers and service for lunch!

Yelp
- filet was amazing - you can get it filled with 8oz - crab is great - halibut sticks are dope! they were the second highlight after the filet - lobster is alright i should have just gotten the 14oz filet, instead of 8oz filet and lobster -cheesecakes is thick, it taste's like another cheesecake - loved the soundtarck - i loved the dark dim environment, it gave an old school appeal

Yelp
The food and atmosphere are amazing. It looks like a little hole in the wall place in anchorage, but I highly recommend it. My wife and I had the petit filet 8oz. It came with a side. I had rice and my wife a baked potato. It was literally 4 inches thick and cooked to perfection with a nice char on the outside.

Yelp
The food was good, came here with a group of friends. It was suggested to us by some of our local friends. I wasn't too hungry so I ordered the steamed clams and ate the bread and butter. It hit the spot. My friends ordered a lot of different things...mostly steak...and they enjoyed their meal. I forgot to take pictures...too much going on at the table!

Yelp
From the moment I walked in, I could tell this was a place rich in tradition. Even on a Wednesday lunch, the restaurant was packed, but the service remained top-notch. Despite being incredibly busy, our server made sure we were taken care of as soon as possible, and the food arrived impressively fast. I ordered the lunch special filet mignon burger (medium rare), and wow--this was the best burger I've ever had! The patty was huge, unbelievably soft, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was packed with flavor, and I finished it right away because it was just that delicious. At only $17, the quality and portion size made it an incredible value. If you love steakhouse classics and unforgettable burgers, Club Paris is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Club Paris- The neon sign at Club Paris glows even during the nearly endless bright sunlight of an Anchorage summer. When you walk into Club Paris, it feels like you stepped back in time. The lighting is low, the wood bar is topped in faux marble linoleum, the back bar displays bottles of after dinner liquors from Drambuie to Galliano. Although there was a wait for a table, there were seats at the bar available to sit down right away. They were out of the prime rib special, however, when the bartender makes a recommendation, take it. This local bar specializes in steaks -specifically filet mignon-stuffed with blue cheese The meal begins with mini loaves of warm, freshly baked bread and butter. The soups are housemade and the salads are dressed with homemade dressings which are excellent. The filet was one of the most flavorful, well seasoned, tender steaks I have ever eaten in my life. It is accompanied by rice, fries or a loaded baked potato with cheese sauce, sour cream and bacon bits. There is an extensive house made dessert list to end the meal. This unassuming restaurant was one of our favorite stops in Anchorage.

Yelp
I've been here since 1969. Always great service ! Excellent food. Strong drinks ! Decor is old Alaskan history. When you're ready to treat your self well, this is the place to indulge, so yummy ! ! Tonya Bowen- Piaskowski

Yelp
Got desserts as take-out. And yes the ice cream pie made it the 7min walk back to the hotel. Both were 10/10 good. 100% desserts here.

Yelp
We came here on the recommendation of a few locals. I was surprised how hard it was to get a reservation on different nights, but we made it on our last night by sitting at the bar. It has a classic, old school feel to it. We both got steaks and baked potatoes which were cooked to perfection. I see now why it's so popular.

Yelp
Finally, I can happily say, I have tried Club Paris. It met my expectations! An Alaskan style steakhouse with hearty portions, attentive service and unpretentious atmosphere. I got the scallops and swapped out the licorice sauce for the orange sauce, as recommended by a close friend of mine. I'm glad I did! The stuffed mushrooms were flavorful and nearly too filling with the mini loaf of bread that was given to the table. I definitely should have passed on the clams, they were very plain and didn't do much for me. I would go back for the scallops and mini loaf of bread. Only!

Yelp
Very good chili. Always professional waitstaff. The decor and ambiance are old school. Always an enjoyable meal. Of course steaks are great, but the ground filet is my go to lunch with steak fries.
google avatar

Yelp
Always great services, with the amazing staff. Food on point, we enjoy drinks & apps. For appetizers I recommend shrimp cocktail, zucchini with a side of cheese sauce (very good ranch that comes with it) & shrimp cocktail. Dinner filet is always good but the ribeye is my favorite. Summer time make reservations always it's very touristy. Winter you can get lucky calling on day you want reservations as long as your not picky about time. Been a favorite of mine since I was very young going to dinner with my parents.

Yelp
This is the classy-est "dive bar" ever! The food, service and setting is amazing, we loved it. Guaranteed you've never had a burger this good, anywhere. Also best Halibut fish & chips Ive ever had and I have had plenty. This will be a destination for me anytime I am in Anchorage.

Yelp
Good place for steak, but side dishes are lacking. The salad looked like it was poured out of a bag - not fresh. The fully loaded potato was drenched in what tasted like nacho cheese sauce- also out of a bag. Ambiance-wise...the outside looks newer, but inside could use an update. First, we were met with a weird smell at the front door that could only be described as bathroom cleaning solution. It might be since the bathroom where right off the waiting area; it was quit overpowering. The booths were claustrophobic! Such a tight fit. And we had a a few big guys in our party. Thankfully, we were moved to a table towards the front. The service was friendly and accommodating. I'd go back for the steak and maybe different side choices - and sit at the bar.
google avatar

Nicole K.

Yelp
Great service and pretty good food. Definitely not the best steak I've had in Anchorage but it's still a top contender. The fresh bread was incredible, fluffy, and hot. It would have been a step better if they had their own whipped butter instead of handing you a bowl of butter tabs like an every day diner. The combo appetizer platter was my favorite and everything was delicious! Espresso martini was rum based and also hit the spot!
google avatar

Teri H.

Yelp
We enjoyed a couple of their lunch specials on a weekday. The inside lighting is a bit dark and hard to read the menu unless you are seated in the front by the windows. The food was delicious, a burger and perfect tots with plus a steak sandwich that the meat was marinated in carne asada sauce with steak fries. So good!!
google avatar

Adam C.

Yelp
I think for value this may be the place to be. While there is no disco dancing at Club Paris, your stomach will be happy with the food. You go here to eat steak. My steak was of good quality, seasoned well and was a huge thing of meat. Service was good, the servers are slightly quirky and may not have fine dining skills, but were fun. There was something cool about the ambiance very much like an old school restaurant your grandfather may have enjoyed but nostalgically cool today.
google avatar

Bill C.

Yelp
It was just okay, especially for the cost. First, we called ahead and made reservations, but when we got there a few days later 10 minutes ahead of our reservation, it was gone. We still got seated, but were worried we wouldn't. The one real knock on the food was the cheese "sauce" they put with certain apps or on your baked potato. Saying it wasn't good isn't doing it justice. It was downright not good at all. Think, thickened Velveta cheese sauce that has separated a little bit. Not good at all. My Wife's steak was overcooked a bit but she said it had good flavor. My scallops were good. I just wish the sauce they were swimming in was a little thicker so it didn't just run off. Atmosphere is okay. It's an old restaurant that people go to in order to visit a piece of history. If that is your thing, this place nails it.

Yelp
This place is located in the quaint downtown of Alaska. The staff here are hard working, busy yet attentive. This establishment is really homely. Dinning here was enjoyable and felt like a true local experience. I ordered the ribeye and house made mash and my partner order the fried fish. Everything was great. Would definitely recommend.
google avatar

Patty H.

Yelp
The best steak in town and service is always great. Always try to stop for the petite with blue cheese.
google avatar

Yelp
Club Paris is my to go for steaks in Anchorage. My son Made a reservation for a birthday dinner. I had the 8oz filet with loaded baked potato. My Son had the 8oz. Filet with lobster tail. Look at the size of that lobster. No "slipper lobster"here. It was huge and meaty. Also had the escargot appetizer, and a small dinner salad. As always, Club Paris hit it out of the park. P.S. had the macadamia pie for dessert and it was delicious too.
google avatar

Sheetal P.

Yelp
Visiting Anchorage and came here on the recommendation of a local. I was solo so I sat at the bar. Super friendly service and very helpful guidance from the bartender (and a local sitting next to me) helped solidify my choices. The escargot was garlicky, buttery perfection (though I think the bread was a little stale- but soaked up the juices just fine- I was in it for the escargot anyway...). I was torn with so many great entree options on the menu, but went with their signature filet (petit, since I was solo and not ready to take down 14-16oz of steak, lol). Seafood, combo, and some specials all looked like great options for a future visit if I end up back here.... But my meal was delicious- cooked to perfection and no frills to distract from the lovely cut of meat. Had to skip dessert. Wine was reasonably priced as were cocktails. Ambiance is historic and this is a local favorite and town landmark. Would definitely come back!

Yelp
Stopped in for dinner while in Anchorage...Yelp has this as one of the top steakhouses in the area. I ordered their house suggested petite filet stuffed with blue cheese and a baked potato side. The steak was nice and cooked perfect to my requested temp. I did find the blue cheese a bit overpowering...not sure I would order it that way again but glad I have it a try. The potato was also done well -- soft and flavorful. Price is reasonable for a steak dinner. Overall grade:

Yelp
There is nothing ever bad about going to Club Paris. The staff is amazing . I will recommend making a reservation. Need to do it the Monday of the week you are going to go. .

Yelp
We had such a great night. The restaurant was lively but the lighting made it intimate. We sat in the front area and which had enough space for our party of 5. The waitress was friendly and made our night run smooth. The food was amazing! For appetizers we had the escargot and the combo platter. The steak was a little well done but the fried scallops were delicious. The French onion soup was good, a little salty but I feel like that is normal for French onion soup. My favorite part was the huge Alaskan crab leg (no picture because I was to excited to eat it) This thing was huge and the flavor, let's just say I will be back whenever I am in town. Thank you for such a great night! Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed!

Yelp
In a perfect world, treasured old friends would never change--and Club Paris exists in that perfect world. Last night, we made same-day reservations (starting at 9AM on Monday for that week only, phone only) at 9ish AM for 8PM; We arrived fashionably early, and were seated, had water and menus well BEFORE 8, in a front/side booth. The place was FULL, pleasantly dimly lit, humming with soft conversation and quiet 70s music, but not 'noisy.' As usual, the staff was super attentive, our waiter (the sole man working--curse me for forgetting his name) prompt, on the spot, and VERY sharp--the worst part about him was that he cruelly told us that they'd run out of prime rib, and had to add that it had been excellent. That's cruelty. :-) Our mixed drinks were more-than-fair pours, and the appetizers (dead snails and shrimp cocktail) were perfect. My shrimp clearly had lived good lives and died happy, by the way, as they were firm, flavorful, and immense. The starters came with two large hot soft rolls and more than enough butter to clog an artery, if needed. Her main was a lobster/filet combination; The lobster was just right, firm and flavorful, but it's hard to tell about the filet as she had hers cooked beyond recognition as is her wont. Mine was a ribeye ordered, and SERVED, medium rare, that was basically beef-flavored candy--juicy, tender, incredibly flavorful, the char one of the best I've ever had. The steak fries side was equally good, with crisp skins and soft centres more akin to a deep-fried baked potato than 'fries.' We ordered the Chef's Mushrooms. Imagine cooking fresh mushrooms in French onion soup stock, adding wine, hunks of thick bacon, more onions, and then covering it with molten white cheese. . . amazing! The stock was so good that it'd make a glorious soup by itself, without the mushrooms; I'd keep the cheese, though. Dessert: NY cheesecake and coffee with Tia Maria for her, creme brulee for me. Both were GOOD. This place and its people deserve their reputation as a first-class traditional steakhouse; There is nothing else like it in Anchorage, and may it always stay that way. Five stars is more than fair, and no exaggeration. Go there before you die, before it's too late.

Yelp
Food was amazing! Service was spot on! The atmosphere is older because it's been there for a very long time and hasn't changed much, which I very much like! We will be returning for sure!
google avatar

George L.

Yelp
This is a really dark establishment. After looking around I realized it is dark to hide the poor patch jobs in the drywall along with painting them black or adding panels. The service was great and couldn't be better but eating in the dark was a challenge as well as reading the menu. Escargot was buttery and surprisingly not overly greasy but the bread was a letdown as it was out too long so it became like a dish sponge. The prime rib was flavorful and had a nice outer crust for the sear. This is a place for a date but I would not recommend for the family.

Dave W.

Yelp
Food was good. Establishment was very busy. Sat at the bar which was only available without a reservation ( on a Monday night.) establishment is dimly lit but comfortable.
google avatar

Jon C.

Yelp
Nice little hole in the wall restaurant. Would never have likely stopped in if a local had not taken me. It was definitely worth the trip. The steak and shrimp were excellent. I would definitely come back again next time I come to Anchorage.
google avatar

Yelp
Best to have a reservation if not, dinner is probably after 9pm! To make a reservation, you can only call that week (or 7 days out?). Didn't have the legendary blue cheese stuffed steak so ordered 2 entrees instead (we finished both, no shame!) The table bread reminded me of a croissant in loaf form... Buttery and light, I still added butter because.. Why else would the waitress bring it to the table?! The chef special is tenderloin medallions and came with soup/salad and side (steak fries, rice pilaf or baked potatoes). We got steak fries and french onion soup. Soup was salty (in a good way) and cheesy and just yum. I wasn't a fan on the steak fries just because it reminded me more of potato wedges than fries. Medallions was tender and juicy but I don't prefer the sauce... My partner thought it was great. I happily chowed down my 16oz NY steak, medium and true to what everyone else said, they mean medium and it was juicy and tender... Along with some seared fat, wow! It came on a sizzling plate and went down satisfying! Surprisingly not as overly stuffed as I thought I would be, but I opted for water and no dessert (dessert would've been nice but I didn't have room for that). Thought about getting a drink but their menu only listed beer, white/red wines, local cider and a long list of liquor. I know the bartender probably could've made anything I wanted but I was hoping for a mixed drink list for inspiration. Decor... Looked nice but we were sat in this "booth" that's tucked away/make shift so it took away from the experience and ambiance. Good experience but I don't feel the need to come back again

Yelp
I tried Club Paris after one of my jumpseaters invited me here after we arrived in Anchorage. What a nice spot. The atmosphere is nice and the food was even nicer. I've been here twice now and plan to take my daughter when we have simultaneous layovers coming up soon. The steaks are tender and flavorful and cooked to perfection, whatever you deem perfection to be; medium well for me. Their drinks are good, too. If you're looking for a nice spot to unwind after long flight to Anchorage, take another flight to Paris.
google avatar

Hannah V.

Yelp
I can finally say, this is one of the best, if not the best steak I have had in Alaska. I'm very happy that we finally tried it. Steak cooked perfectly to temperature and seasoned well. What more can you ask for? Those are the literal basics of a great steak. It is a pretty dimly-lit restaurant but it adds to the romantic ambiance. Friendly staff and delicious food. Definitely would come back for the delicious steak. I wish they would add some cocktails in the menu, but they have a good wine list.
google avatar

Neil B.

Yelp
I've been to Club Paris several times, and it's always been excellent. We wanted steak for New Years Eve, but also wanted it to be takeout as we are avoiding all sit-down restaurants due to covid avoidance and everything else. I called Club Paris at 2:30pm to see if they do takeout for dinner and they told us yes, starting at 5pm when they open for dinner. Great! At 5:15, I called them to place an order and they said they're not doing takeout. WTF? Ended up getting takeout from that Texas chain restaurant and it was bad, but at least they didn't lie to us. Very disappointed in Club Paris.

Yelp
Now i understand why my uncle lived at the bar and ate there often 25 years. Bartender knew him and been there 45 years. Best steak and cod i've ever been served. Had prawns fresh and everything was what you would taste in a high end place. Wash DC high end food at a fair price in most beautiful place. 4.5 stars and would be 5 but bathrooms could be updated. I will be back every night when back. My favorite place to eat in all N America. Ya that good.
google avatar

PJ B.

Yelp
Rustic from the street view to the booth. Started with some escargot that was cooked perfectly and the butter and garlic sauce was ready for the bread. Caesar salad was average, but good. A couple of glasses of Cabernet and Pinot Noir complimented our entrees. We had one special of the day, a NY Strip with a butter/walnut topping sauce and a Filet Mignon with King Crab, both with loaded baked potatoes. Entrees were fabulous. Great value for a meal. We were at another restaurant in the area and they quoted MP for just the King Crab (same amount) as much as the entire price of the filet and crab!!!!!! Service was great. We will be back.

Ken S.

Yelp
Great vibe, good service. The French onion soup was great but the ribeye was overcooked.

Yelp
Old style chop house with old style vibes. Darker setting which isn't bad, though it felt as if the materials were worn down. We were sat up front which was a bit loud next to the bar. Being winter there was some chill to the air coming in from the front door traffic as well. I will make sure to ask for a booth when making reservations if I am to come back again. The wait staff was very friendly and prompt/courteous. We had reservations for a Saturday night at 5pm and showed up 15 min early and were offered to grab a drink at the bar until the rest of our party showed up and our table was ready. The bartender made a nice martini for myself and a lemon drop for my queen. Both delicious and generous pours. We decided to have a couple appetizer's before our meals. The French onion soup was good. The shrimp cocktail is legit. The shrimp appeared to be PWS spot prawns served over a nice presentation of chilled ice with parsley and cocktail sauce. The cocktail sauce was nice with ample horseradish backbone to it. Fresh and firm texture with clean flavor from the shrimp made that app a solid. The house onion rings were awesome. Clean and crispy batter. Yum. Halibut fingers are a must. Flakey, delicate and delicious. Very nice tartar sauce. The andouille sausage stuff mushrooms are a pass. Weird texture and even stranger sauce served with them didn't seem to go well together as a dish or as an accompaniment to the meals. The steaks were so so. The price wasn't bad and neither were the plates. 6.9/10. Value for the price. The desserts were good. We got 4. The carrot cake was a bit dry. Seemed like it was 3-4 days old. Not a fan of raisins in my carrot cake, which I love and am a hard critic of. The cream brûlée had great flavor and texture except the delivery was off. They used too deep of a ramekin. A shallower gratin dish would be better suited to give a bite of the "glass" topping with each bite of cream. The Key Lime pie was great and the peanut butter cookie pie stuff was Amazing! Funny that the one dessert I wasn't even wanting to try turned out to be the best. Maybe expectations are everything, though the rest of the table agreed with those results. In all I wouldn't rule out Club Paris as a venue to visit again. There is some value for the quality of food and service. The establishment could put some updating into the facility. Especially the restrooms. All in all the location, food and service make this classic Alaska restaurant a must go for those looking to round out their dining repertoire in Anchorage. Location 9/10 Food 7/10 Service 8/10 Facility 7/10

Yelp
Oof, it's not often I knock a whole 2 stars off a restaurant, but yikes. When I tried to make reservations and couldn't get through and had to drive downtown to make reservations, I should have taken this as a sign. But our last experience was so good... I was hopeful. Then we arrive at our allotted time and our table was not ready. Not a big deal, but in the grand scheme of things, it added to my overall dissatisfaction. I told them it was my husband's birthday and throughout the entire evening there was no acknowledgement in any way. If anything we felt largely ignored and waited a long time for our food, refills, ect. The menu at Paris is very small- they basically do one thing steak and crabs. When that's the case, the expectation is that it's done perfectly. Our market price steaks were NOT done as ordered and our waitress was no where to be found. They were still mooing. We couldn't have sent them back if we wanted to. The last time we went to Paris, our server waited at table side to validate our steaks were to our liking. Our baked potatoes were so crispy on the outside, it was almost like they were deep fried. WEIRFLD. Our server completely ghosted us. The busser finally got our server so we could order dessert. Of course they were out if what we wanted. Sigh. For these prices, I can no longer recommend.

Yelp
Fantastic service, all the food was on point and cooked perfectly and we had a nice private booth which was perfect for our evening.

Yelp
I took a young lady on a date and it was great place for it! I am new to the area and I decided to support a local restaurant. I came across this restaurant and decided to give it a shot. (Pun intended) If you need to make reservations, you need to call the local number because they don't have set up Yelp or OpenTable. It gets really busy so I highly recommend as the locals love this place. I was greeted with a big smile and very welcoming. I was seated and my waitress came over quickly and took our drinks. We ordered the snails and it was very good! Highly recommend them. I think that the snails would disagree with my statement but they taste that good! I had the Filet Mignon and it was cook to order. The rice was phenomenal and I highly recommend it over the baked potatoes . The veggies were normal but tasty. The restaurant is a bit dark so watch your steps. The bathroom for men is behind a curtain. It is as if you are going on stage. I guess you can have your own show . The waitress did not asked a lot of questions which was nice because we could have long conversations and get to one another. Until next time!

Yelp
Love the food. The Paris special is my favorite sandwich combination of French dip and hamburger. I would go there all the time time when I worked next door at Ulmer Rexalls. I took my grandsons there and enjoyed it again

Yelp
Their 1PM take out order call in service is trash. I tried to call earlier to give them a heads up about my large takeout order and they told me that I have to call back at one I called back at exactly 1:01 PM and they literally told me that they can't take my order because they are too backed up. I told the lady that I am a PAYING customer like everyone else and she should help me. The lady says that the restaurant is too backed up WITH CUSTOMERS. I explained to her that there should be no difference between my business and dine in customers simply because it's a phone order versus me coming in with 15 people to place 15 entrées with the food. I further explained that I only want to pick up my food to go. I don't plan on dining in . The lady was not helpful. Amd to the manager; if you can't handle a takeout service, don't advertise it. Or if you don't have enough staff to cover what you offer, then be a better boss and help them or hire more people. If you can't hire more people, then you should look at how you're compensating employees and what you're offering potential applicants.
