"Among the oldest restaurants in Anchorage, Club Paris has one of the last neon signs that used to be characteristic of downtown Anchorage businesses. This dark, eclectic steakhouse has a full bar, a retro feel, and a lot of longtime regulars. It specializes in classic cocktails, Alaska seafood, and expertlycooked filet mignon. Reservations recommended." - Julia O'Malley

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great food, really fabulous actually. In house made Caesar dressing which was very good and we loved the extra anchovies we could get. The steak was one of the best ever and perfectly cooked. Decent wine selection. We will definitely go back again. I'd give 6 stars if I could.

We stopped in for drinks & dessert for my birthday and it was so good! I liked he Bailey's chocolate cheesecake and my husband liked the regular New York cheesecake. The bartender was both skilled and attentive, great service. I had a Paloma and my husband had a French 75.

Went here for our 6th anniversary and everything from the ambiance, service and food was just spectacular! We ordered the combo platter which came with—Fried halibut, fried stuffed mushrooms, fried zucchini and teriyaki bites. The stuffed fried mushrooms were my favorite with the cheese sauce! For our entree my fiancé had the stuffed bleu cheese steak with prawns & I ordered the prime rib. I thought the steak paired well the stuffed bleu cheese and I thought my prime rib was cooked to perfection and the horseradish sauce was just amazing! For dessert we had the creme brûlée and ordered the key lime pie to go (because they do run out). The creme brûlée was so crunchy on the top and smooth on the inside, it literally tastes like angels made it. Now, the key lime pie was so just DELICIOUS! I wish we ordered two 🤣 Also, our waitress was literally one of the sweetest and kindest human beings! I can’t believe I forgot her name, but she was amazing!!!!

This was my first time coming here and it was good, but a bit underwhelming. I had the parmesan onion soup and it felt very pepper forward which I wasn’t used to. It was still pretty decent. I ordered the Queen Cut Prime Rib medium rare and it came out just rare. I usually dont ever have a problem with this, however it was noticeably cold in the middle. Flavor was still good, but I would have preferred it medium rare in this case. The fries I’ll admit are not my cup of tea. They’re not crispy and you can tell are handcut in house, but I prefer crispier. The inside of the restaurant was also very dark do it was a little difficult to look around and admire the place.

Club Paris will always be the place to beat for a good steak in Downtown Anchorage. Also try the French Onion Soup as a starter and the Baileys Chocolate Cheesecake for dessert, you won’t be disappointed! The service is great and the ambiance is filled with Old Alaskan charm. I’ll be back!

This is a must try. My husband and I arrived at 5 without a reservation and were seated immediately. On the menu for dinner was beer battered fried halibut fingers as an appetizer. So buttery and mouth watering-delicious even without tartar sauce. Entree for my husband was the ribeye served on a sizzling hot plate, this steak was thick and perfectly cooked. I had the Queen cut ribeye medium rare. The horseradish was a serious game changer with this steak! Don’t skip on the rolls-they’re so fresh and warm addition to the meal.

This was the best place to celebrate birthdays. Had a hard week before my birthday and my husband surprised me by taking me here for my birthday. This was such a awesome place. One of my favorite places to eat and celebrate.
