I was trying to look up some Halal places in the Houston area and found this amazing food place which I was not expecting to be a food truck, and let me tell you, I was very impressed with everything. They had this amazing environment with a bunch of motorcycle guys who just come and chill and enjoy food and talk about life and food trucks everywhere, which are being supported by the locals is an amazing environment. I got the french fries with the loaded chicken, and let me tell you, I'm very glad I stopped here to eat food because it was very delicious. It was just the food I needed right before work. The little cheese on top just made the whole thing so much better and more delicious. I highly recommend anybody who's interested in eating Halal to try this and give a food truck I try. The owner was so nice and he played to introduce himself and his friends to me. I go back if I'm in town. Thank You

We ordered the Toasted Juicy Lucy and it was extreme! This thing is huge, I had to remove the top bun just to attempt to eat this thing whole. We like spicy, and the Hot was just a little hot. If you like spicy go hotter. Overall, it was very good and a fun experience. We also had the cheese fries which were great as well.

Got the chicken tenders with fries, was not expecting how big they would be. Second time eating here, strongly recommend their food

I visited the restaurant yesterday during their grand opening, and honestly, it exceeded all expectations! Despite the huge crowd, everything was on point. ✅ Food: The burger was absolutely delicious! Juicy, well-seasoned meat, fresh buns, and the toppings were perfectly balanced – nothing too much or too little. ✅ Service: Fast and professional. The staff were friendly and smiling, even under pressure. ✅ Atmosphere: The place was clean, well-organized, and full of positive energy – you could really feel the excitement of opening day. I didn’t expect such smooth service with that many people, but they really nailed it 👏 Definitely coming back to try more from the menu! Highly recommend visiting before the lines get even longer 😄

Stopped by late night and was impressed by the quality of food and service. The wings were perfectly cooked, the fries were fresh, and the flavors were spot on. The staff was friendly and attentive, and I truly appreciate their hospitality toward first responders. Highly recommend to friends, family, and anyone craving great food!

I have read many reviews and i was about not to order broasted for lunch, Then i decided to order and try it myself to evaluate it. However, it is one of the best broast experience i have ever had. Chicken was fresh and super delicious, French fries was also delicious with the special spices on it. also the experience gets more tasty with the cheese dipping. The only thing needs to be enhanced is the taste of the cheese sauce. I definitely advise you to try it and forget about the bad comments

We loved our experience here because we asked for the absolute spiciest thing they can do. It was the perfect level of spice to flavor we have had in years. No one has ever provided the level of spice they have here. I do have to say, it's not the spiciest thing we have had, but it is incredibly hot, not for amateurs, this was literally, one of the best spicy meals we have had in our lives, 100% recommend!

I absolutely love love love the loaded fries with the mild sauce and fried pickles!!!! My goodness !!! We also got the 15 wings. If I can just recommend maybe poking holes into box to let air in as they are breaded and pretty big wings. We were 5 min away from our destination to eat and our wings were soaked but overall very flavorful just weren't appeasing. Thank you for such great service and delicious food get them fries and fried pickles yall!!!! That ranch was killer!!!!!

One of my favorite chicken sandwiches in the city!!! I received my order quick & everyone was nice . It was a food truck so i ate in my car & I was ok with that. There is always a line so be ready to wait but it's safe . Nice & Clean place !

Love the concept, I've eaten here a couple times. I like the size of the chicken it really gives you your bang for your buck, seriously. Keep a look out for the spice level the spicer you have it, the Harder you'll be in the bathroom the next day. Still overall a 8.5 in my books.

It's a few days after fourth of July. Feeling lazy and not in the mood to cook, these moments call for delivery. This spot popped up on my UberEats wtih a promotion for a 2 for 1 special on the flour power tacos. Being a sucker for free eats, I placed an order for it and also did an order of 10 buffalo wings. Food arrived about 50 minutes later and I dug in. Everything was packaged nicely as the tacos held up quite well with the flour tortillas. Biting into the tacos, the heat level (Hot) was alright but not making me sweat which is what I'm used to for hot level. The chicken is large and there's a cabbage slaw and pickles in place. The sauce served is alright. Overall, the tacos were there in quantity/size but flavor-wise it was lacking. Same with the wings which are large and well-breaded but lacking in flavor. Doesn't seem there was much seasoning within it. Including tip, my total order was about $56; more than I felt the meal was worth. It's from a food truck so I probably need to visit the truck directly and order with them. Maybe that's why there was a promotion involved.

The chicken was so good and the fries were phenomenal. Customer service was great as well. They were polite and attentive. I can't wait to return!!!

Would've grabbed something from this food truck but they didn't have single food items outside of sides like fries, drinks, nothing that we wanted at that time.

We were told it was a 20 minute wait for our food. When the window to pick up our food came. They told us another 15 minutes. Then the ordering app sent a message saying it was ready, we went back to pick it up, they said it still wasnt ready! The food is not so good to wait this long....

In a city full of hot fried chicken, this place doesn't stand out much. I tried the sliders and the loaded fries. The food was ok, and it is decently enjoyable, but there is nothing special about it. The chicken wasn't impressively juicy, the spice level was all over the place (loaded fries had some chicken that would burn you, and some that was barely spicy), and the sauce was normal. Service is not much go talk about for food trucks, but it was normal waiting times. The ambiance is ok, good amount of trucks there, but parking is tough and there seems to be lots of parking accidents there. I would eat here, just wouldn't crave it or anything.

We got 10 chicken wings with buffalo this look about 20 minutes to get our order. There was about 2 people in front of us. When we got home to eat the wings it did not taste good. It was super bland we ended up tossing them. I definitely do not recommend chicken wings from here

OH MY GOOOOOODNESSSS!!!! MUST TRY AND RETURN!!!! I got the chicken tacos and let me just say the wait was beyond well worth it!!!!! I have a high tolerance for spicy food so I definitely should have went with my first instinct and got the most spiciest. But their sauces.... SHEEEEESHHHH. *chefs kiss* let's just say the tacos already came with its own sauce yet I had to get the garlic butter as well....

I kept seeing this truck and finally decided to take the plunge and order it on DoorDash. I'm so glad I did! This chicken was JUICY and CRISPY, and y'all I don't even like fried chicken much because I've had some bad luck with it. The fries were also perfection and the flavors were there. I'll be going back soon

Hot wings are awesome. We always go for it and love it so much, juicy and spicy. Highly recommended.

I ordered the 10-piece wings and they were dry and not seasoned even though I asked for medium seasoned wings. I had to grab the salt and pepper from the salt and pepper pack to season with salt to give it a little flavor. I was very disappointed even ranch did not help these flavorless wings

The best , we just happened to stop by and got the 6 piece chicken, French fries and a chicken sandwich and it was the best . From Austin tx , so will definitely stop back by here when I'm in town delicious

Four slices of bread and one strip of chicken down the center? You can keep this. It should not matter rather it's dine in, carry out or delivery, it should be a complete sandwich. My first and last order. Buying a loaf of bread and smearing it with mayonnaise would be cheaper. Thanks for your reply but the chicken was okay, there just wasn't enough of it! Four slices of bread and stuffed with 'tenders' on the Toasted Juicy Lucy was not true. You put ONE tender on four slices of bread. Own what you did, and for 13 bucks I did expect more than one tender but now I know.

I've been to this location 3 times now, and each time, I've been slightly frustrated. I order my food online and pick it up at the location, and each time, I've chosen the hot option for my meal, but upon actually eating it, I found that there was virtually zero spice, and I say that with no hyperbole intended. It is almost as if there is a glitch with online orders that just negates the spice levels. Either that or their hot spice level is ridiculously low. The chicken and fries are nice, but without any spice, it's just way too cheesy.

Was surprised by how fresh the chicken was, I loved the lemon pepper wings and super crispy. The buffalo were ok, I asked that my wings be fried hard and that wasn't the case for these. Even with the sauce you can tell tell when it's fried hard and these just were, also I expected the buffalo sauce to have a little spice and there was none for me. Would try again, maybe a sandwich or something and choose a spicier sauc

So my friend and I had a late craving and decided to stop at the food truck on Westheimer. We ordered on the app from Instagram as they promoted a special to try their new fried chicken wings with every online order (6 total). Upon arrival to the truck, our orders were ready (about 15-20 mins), service was friendly and we discovered that all 6 wings weren't the same. Each was a diff flavor to try). We also ordered the Chicken Fries loaded with cheese. The chicken tenders cut up in small pieces were flavorful & crispy (I got mild so had a mini heat kick), waffle fries were crispy. I did feel the melted cheese on top was a bit overpowering. Next time I'll just ask for a little on top & the rest on the side. Hard to eat with cheese running everywhere & lick your fingers while driving .

This was the best door dash of burgers I had while out of town. I loved it so much I recommended to my friend who lives in town.

Wed night found me arriving in Houston with tons of family. Nephew's wedding coming up. Hindu so it means spans a few days. Also.... A lot of Vegetarian meals. Don't get me wrong I like that. But I also know I need some protein. Convinced my younger brother Dave and Nephew Satish.... Hey its only 11:00 PM, let's drive half an hour for tasty fried chicken. Oh yeah!! They ordered chicken tender sandwiches medium hot w fries. I ordered the three piece tender w toast and fries. I should have ordered mine hot. Medium is fine but you know ... A little more heat is kinda nice.

he greatest yet spiciest chicken sandwich I've ever had. I'm sure you've seen their food truck somewhere in Houston. Give it a try and if you get the spiciest level you might regret that but flavors are totally worth it. Crispity crunchity delicious.

I'm always looking for hot chicken restaurants to add to my rotation and was eager to give clutch city a try! It was overall a decent sandwich, not the best or worst that I've had. For comparison, I also tried yummy's hot chicken, another hot chicken food truck right across the street. - Taste: both were solid sandwiches! While they were both saucy, I'd say the sauce on clutch city's was less flavorful. It was almost like it was there to just provide a dressing but not to add taste. However, yummy's has a distinctive curry taste that those who don't like curry might not enjoy. The cole slaw and bun were pretty comparable. If you want the classic hot chicken taste, go with clutch city. If you want a curry twist, go with yummy's. - Value: I paid extra for the second tender in the clutch city sandwich which makes it look decently bigger but also cost $2ish more compared to the yummy's chicken which came with two smaller tenders. The bun of the clutch city sandwich was decently bigger than yummy's, so I think it needs that boost of another tender. With two tenders, I think there was a good ratio of chicken to bun. - Service: between the two food trucks, I'd say yummy's had better customer service. I tried to ask a question to an employee taking orders at clutch city, and he wasn't very friendly. - Atmosphere: both are food trucks, so expect to take your food to go. Park in the street in between the two trucks.

Service is good doesn't take long to place order nor receive order , Food is always good quality, fresh also is affordable not no over the head prices the surrounding area was intriguing as well as the truck being named after "Clutch City" which would make you curious about trying it out

Nice food truck we found while in Houston for the Beyoncé Renaissance Tour. The food was cooked to order, so it took a little fifteen minutes, which was fine. I had wings and the loaded chicken fries. The wings were OK but, the fries were amazing. I would have gotten a large fry instead. The pickles on the fries took them to the next level.

Was a decent spicy chicken sandwich, but the heat wasn't as flavorful/savory, more like an extract taste. You could get an egg for +$1 n get it fried or sunny side up(which I got) but they put it on the bottom and not the top(why?!?) n was cooked thru For $11+ I was underwhelmed by size/flavor, frying(breading was mushy n fell off chicken mixing with veg/sauce hence losing crisp) especially now days with tons of spicy chicken sandwich places popping up. Their truck is nice and packaging great, so marketing is on point I'd suggest getting middle heat unless you can handle high spice than maybe try the extra hot like me, I wouldn't even bother getting the hottest unless you want to just eat fire Maybe other cheesy bun or loaded fries would be a better bet ‍

I order from this food truck from time to time (they are available on DoorDash). The food is always delicious, and the chicken always has a nice flavor to it, AND their sauce is killer. The one criticism I have is that the box doesn't ventilate well, so if you don't eat the food quickly, water starts to build in the box, and can make the fries mushy and gross. But otherwise, the food is good.

Sandwich was delicious - the brioche buns were perfect. Sometimes bread like this is too crispy/hard but this bread was perfectly fluffy and tasty. The tenders basket was a lot of food! Great choice for wanting to fill up. I also did get the cheesy fries but they were not my thing; very filling nonetheless. Prices a little high, but good quality and portions make up for it. Everyone should try this place at least once.

Place my order online through GrubHub. Was ready for me to pick up on time. I got the Wings N Fries for $14.35 with the clutch sauce. Wings were decent size and flavorful, if you like heat I would kick up the spice level a notch. Medium was tame to me. Fries are nice size and crispy. This place can get pretty pack quickly and so does parking, I ended up doing street parking. Service is great as my food was ready for hand off. Great atmosphere if your in the area for lunch.

Talk about well seasoned moist chicken tenders. I have been here twice in one week. The first time I went, I got the 2 tender hot sandwich with seasoned fries. My spice level is ehh soft because I can't eat anything too spicy, so I got the medium level, which was perfect for me. On my second visit I got the 2 tender basket with waffles fries. Let me just say.... They have the moistest chicken I have ever eaten and both times I could not eat both tenders in one sitting. The slaw on the sandwich with the pickles was so good. I got their garlic sauce and my goodness it just added a flavor explosion in my mouth. Fries: not stale, crunchy and flavorful I definitely recommend and will visit again and again. The wait wasn't long either.

My husband and I tried them on a late night after the rodeo, the wait wasn't too long, food was made fresh, and tasty, a little pricey but worth it, we each had leftovers the next day.

Here's a quick rundown... Pros: --average pricing on the high side --not too long of a wait --very good flavors (if you really want a spicy sandwich, get hot. The medium hot has no heat.) Cons: --not much parking --they offer 1 or 2 tenders on the sandwich. I asked if 2 was too much and they said yes. Unfortunately, I was only able to eat half the sandwich because there wasn't enough chicken to cover the bun. (I'm not even sure why 1 tender on a full size bun is an option.) If I lived nearby, I may go back to give it a second chance. But, overall, it's definitely not better than Mico's Hot Chicken on Durham.

This establishment's food is amazing, granted I didn't actually go inside for the experience and actual customer service. The food was so satisfying, even with ordering through door dash. It was hot & fresh, flavorful & plentiful. Ordered it my first day in Houston and will most likely order it before I leave. Lol we definitely need one of these back home, 10/10 recommend.

Great food especially for food truck standards l choose for my first visit the waffle sand which I totally give flavor and food qualify 10 out of 10 and best of all they got great spice. And not the Nashville spice everyone is getting bored of,no. These guys got real spices blended to create a unique flavor and great heat as well. I only wish the waffle could encompass all that goes into the sand which and next time all cheese and sauces are gunna be on the side. Forewarning!!! You'll be tempted to eat in the car - I don't recommend - eat on the hood of your car (if you have too) or wait til you get home and comfortable. This ain't no out and about grab and keep going meal ITS ALOT CHIEF ! I DEFINITELY PLAN TO RETURN. This visit was outta desperation cause another food truck was 2hr behind on my friends order. But when God closes a door trust that he's cracked a window to some good eats

Roaming around houston at 2 am for a piece of chicken but it was worth it. I traveled alot this summer for work and ended up finding myself in houston to support MD Anderson. I had a mega awkward uber ride and ended up at my hotel 2 am. After completing a zoom call with an overseas distributor, i decided it was a good time to find a meal. Of course it seemed that only this chicken truck was open so I made a decision to walk from holiday inn. Man houston in the summer is rough, even the nights are ridiculously muggy. I walked though a bunch of mud cuz apparently someone thought it was funny to flood the sidewalk. I did end up making it to the chicken truck at the end though, got there and ordered me some chicken fries, with that mayonaise and hot sauce. Medium hot ofc, you dont wanna liquify your insides before a client meeting, esp when you dont have milk. At that point 20 people in pickup trucks pulled up to the gas station blasting loud music, i think they were tryin to make a tiktok or something. For some reason I convinced myself they were after my chicken. Dont ask how i came to this conclusion but loud music at 2am usually spooks me. But seeing as I had paid good money for this chicken dinner, I was ready to see this through. Told myself to stand in that spot, and eat my chicken dinner even if it meant getting beaten up by 20 people. I did manage to get my chicken and MAN WAS IT GOOD. With slices of bread and butter pickles too might I add. It was soo good i was back at the chicken truck the next morning at 8am to buy myself a chicken sandwich. And you know what they say, everthing IS bigger in texas. I'm talking about a fried chicken sandwich except instead of slices of bread, it was smashed between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches, toppe d with nacho cheese sauce, butter pickles, and juicy crunchy chicken. I love this place. keep it up!

Don't get me wrong- the chicken fries were great but they really go easy on the heat. I got the Hot level and couldn't taste any spice at all. I had them once before and they used to be spicier. Maybe they toned it down over the years.

Didn't get any pictures, however after a night on the town in HTX ... as the name says, Clutch City Cluckers is CLUTCH!! The chicken sandwich is huge, though my favorite item tried was the Loaded Fries. Clutch City's signature sauce is a tangy, creamed based similar to Cane's. Wait time late night was maybe 15-20 mins. Highly recommended after a night on the town in HTX!

I go here all the time. Food is always good and fresh. Also they are open late. The service is always great and friendly.

Was in Katy,Houston over the holiday and my aunt had seen many posts on Instagram and said we should try it out if it looks soo good on social media . Mannnn !!! When I say this is a must try !!! I mean it !! We ordered 4 days in a row I swear it is that good the chicken is seasoned and cooked to perfection the cheese sauce to the slaw to the crisp pickles we tried everything off there menu . Everything on there menu is a win win !! First thing I'm ordering again when I'm in back Houston You need to franchise in Indiana for sure !! You would be a big hit !!

I ordered the small loaded fries and the 3 piece chicken strips. The chicken strips are HUGE! I ordered the no spice for my daughter and she was full with just one. The loaded fries by far are the best! I wish they added more pickles (I love pickles) but over all they were great. They are made with waffle fries, cut up chicken, pickles, cheese, and a sauce all mixed together. The small is pretty small but very filling. I will order again and try something different. The sandwiches look amazing! I can't wait to try.

I was In the area and decided to stop here again & that was best decision I made today lol. I got the "Cluck It Waffle" and when I say it was good it was goooooooooood!!! This sandwich was so flavorful my goodness, I mean the house sauce on the sandwich was amazing. I got extra on the side. My mouth watered with every bite, and the chicken was so juicy an not one part of it was dry. As of now it's the best sandwich on the menu to me. I'll definitely be back to try more.

My mantra is, a restaurant begins with five stars and it's their's to lose; as long as the food is as advertised and the service is decent (everyone has off their days), the location will get a five star review from me. However, this food truck definitely was on track to a scathing one star review until the food saved the day. On a late Saturday night, we were craving some food but wanted something different than McDonald's or the typical fast food joint. We found Clutch City Cluckers: a local Houston food truck known for its fried chicken. We got there and ordered one sandwich, and with 4-5 people ahead of us, we were told a 15-20 wait at most. It took almost an hour for us to get our food. An hour. I would understand if the line had 15 people ahead of us, but I could count the number of orders ahead of us on one hand. At one point, we wondered if they were butchering the chicken live behind the truck, that's how long it took. We noticed a few people actually asked for a refund and left after waiting for a while. I'm not sure if this is how long people normally wait for food here, but the night we went definitely seemed like an off night for the staff. Finally, we got our food. We sat in our car and immediately started tearing into our sandwich, and... it was flipping delicious. Best fried chicken I've ever had. Perfectly crispy chicken yet tender and moist. I was so conflicted. On one hand, the service absolutely frustrated us, but on the other, the food just blew our minds. So good that it turned a definitive one star review into a three star. This place had potential, but the service ultimately turned us off. Will we ever return here? Probably not. However, will we ever forget the unforgettable fried chicken at Clutch City Cluckers? Most definitely not.

Food was good. If you get the wings make sure you have plenty of napkins. They put a lot of sauce on them. Chicken sandwich was good. Better than the Popeyes in my opinion. Customer service was very good.
