The restaurant is owned by Ahmad Kilani, a Jordanian immigrant and former worker at Houston’s first halal food truck, Abu Omar Halal. Kilani uses his industry knowledge to serve halal versions of Nashville's cayenne-heavy chicken dishes, including various sandwiches and loaded fries.
