"Dinner at Cobble is supposed to feel intimate, curated in such a way to make it seem like you’re eating in the apartment of that chef-friend you never had. Six months into the pandemic, we would’ve been happy with microwavable chicken nuggets on a well-sanitized cloth seat on the Orange Line - as long as we could (safely) be anywhere but our own home. Luckily, our time at Cobble was infinitely better than that, with some incredible butter rolls made from the chef’s grandmother’s recipe. They were so good that we’d happily go back even if the nightly menu was just five courses of those. If you’re not comfortable with dining indoors right now, Cobble is now also including the rolls as part of a new to-go pack. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

"Cobble is a tiny, four-table restaurant known for its vegetable-focused tasting menu and a BYOB program where customers can bring their own drinks and enjoy cocktail mixers supplied by the kitchen." - Erika Adams

beautiful ambiance!! you can tell every detail was carefully considered and curated, from the decor to the dinnerware. we brought a bottle of wine, of which they provided an ice bucket for us to chill. we also started with a cocktail each, in which they provided us a very simplified shaker set with fresh mix-ins. really lovely touch! each course was super tasty and beautifully presented. the chef graciously served us all night and explained each course along the way. i was pleasantly surprised that the food more than filled me up by the end! overall, a truly lovely experience that is worth the rush of reservations. hoping someday in the future their availability may open up to improve this, though.

What a GIFT this hidden gem is! It’s an exquisite experience from start to finish! We received dinner here as a wedding gift from a dear friend and we cannot wait to come back as a special date night and to take friends and family here for years to come! Firstly, the food. Oh, wow, the food! Every dish was packed with delicious flavor and so much thoughtful care! It’s hard to believe that they do a different menu because this one was divine! I cannot wait to try everything!! The rolls were unlike anything my husband and I have ever tried!! We travel quite a bit and never in our lives, in any part of the world, have we had bread that is so soft, airy, and absolutely perfection. Secondly, I love how it was byob but that they have incredibly tasty mixes that you can mix the alcohol with. 100% recommend ordering the special mixers. We brought elderflower liquor and tequila to mix into ours, it was so delicious! Thirdly, the ambiance!! It feels like being welcomed into someone’s home! It managed to be both intimate while still feeling like a swanky dynamic place for a date night. If you’re reading this review, stop reading, and go and make your reservation!! ENJOY!!

Wow! We loved our experience here. The food is fresh, delicious, and unique. Everything on the menu was perfectly executed and delicious - even things I usually would have avoided due to not loving some of the ingredients (pickled carrots with the spinach dip? Amazing!). The whole feel of the restaurant is delightfully cozy. The service by Chef Emily was great, as she carefully explained each dish in detail. This is definitely the best restaurant I’ve visited in Brookline and likely the greater Boston area as well. Can't wait to return! If you can get a reservation - go!

Went to a pop-up Cobble dinner and it was an amazing experience all around - the food was fresh and delicious (big portions, come hungry!), bringing our own wine meant we could enjoy our favorite bottles without the mark up, and we loved the intimate environment of the dinner as well... Particularly now, knowing there aren't 5 other parties sitting at the same table the same night feels reassuring. Can't recommend enough! Emily and Rachel, the owners, are friendly and service was top notch.

Went here during their opening week back in September. What a cool intimate dining experience this was! Every dish we had was absolutely delicious. Emily and Rachel were excellent, so friendly and inviting. Everything from the ambiance, cocktails, music, décor was really unique and not like any dining experience I've had before. We have a reservation for Valentine's day and I couldn't be more excited!

Great space, delicious food- would highly recommend for a unique, delightful experience. walking in, we were transported to a cozy space . Chef Emily is friendly and gracious. All courses were delicious but standouts were the fennel and citrus salad and grandma berg’s dinner rolls.. and oh.. dessert- a hearty carrot cake with a delicious cream and raspberry sauce. Portions were generous and we left very satisfied. we will definitely return!

We've had a number of Cobble At Home meals now. Each one has been wonderful. The food is an amazing combination of homey comfort food and sophisticated twists and surprises. Every dish combines simple ingredients with unusual flavors and tastes to create a truly distinctive flavor experience. The owners are delightful, creative and totally committed to their art. At home customers: presentation and instructions are impeccable. You can't get it wrong! Can"t wait to dine in-house post-Covid! (We're in that vulnerable population.)
