Truly one of the warmest, most genuine places out there. The workers here are so kind and always make the tastiest Vietnamese treats! Here’s what I got! Custom chè with coconut milk, hot luu, taro, jackfruit, and pandan jelly - Genuinely one of the best I’ve had 10/10 Bánh Dùa (Pandan flavor) - Amazing chewy texture filled with pandan custard and coconut shreds - Comes in pandan, ube, or durian flavor, and I will come back to try the rest! One of my favorite places to relax and eat homey food! Please come check it out :)

I absolutely loved the decorations inside the cafe - it feels so unique and warm. I had a fruit smoothie, getting one of the two-fruit smoothies, another concept I love! It was a good smoothie too, and if I'm around, I could see myself coming back here.

What a great find in Boston, MA's Little Saigon in Dorchester area. This is not your average boba tea shop, it feels like a gourmet version that makes the other boba places look like fast foods. Coco Leaf offers a nice selection of boba teas, smoothies, and quick bites. I was impressed by the nice selection of Vietnamese chè (a type of dessert). I had a chance to try the artichoke drink and the pennywort/mung bean drink (both with basil seeds). And they are refreshing! The ambience is nice and cozy. And the flowers display is very Instagrammable! Pro-tip: There are many Vietnamese restaurants nearby, so make it a lunch and boba kind of deal.

Coco Leaf has never missed for my orders, which is che Halo Halo. The portions of each ingredient is perfect, and the price is reasonable. A local business maintaining its quality over multiple years- I used to eat at the restaurant across the street when it was Hien Vuong restaurant and stop by to get a nice treat afterward here.

All the food and drinks here are so good, my favorite are the paninis and the bun cha! Of course you gotta try the Che as well, I usually either go for Che banh lot or Che halo halo 🤩 for drinks I love the gardenia! Really nice place to hang with friends and talk, I love the way they decorated the space it feels so warm

They have a lot of sweet and drink options! Had regular cappuccino, milk tea boba, matcha cheese foam they were yummy! Staff always friendly and kind

Had their brown sugar Boba tea and it was delicious! Personal preference is next time I will get half sweetness. Tried the Saigon Che and it was sweet and delicious! The Hot Luu was my favorite part. The staff is very friendly and the location is nice and bright and clean. I want to try their pastries still, but their crepes are great!

Went to a Vietnamese Cafe to cool off. I was curious at so many foods and drinks I have never tried, and Artichoke Tea (supposedly helps with everything from liver detox to adjusting to no fall bladder to weight loss to you name it). I was also curious about the Rau ma, but thankfully they insisted I try a sample first. I’m glad because it wasn’t a taste I liked. The Artichoke tea (THANH NHIỆT) was delicious, and she put basil seeds and some jelly inside. It was honestly a bit too sweet. I now know to just get it plain. It’s great as is! Lastly, I tried Bánh Bò Nướng (Vietnamese Honeycomb Cake). It’s usc a unique taste AND texture. Recipes I can find online are made with a tapioca starch, a ton of eggs, coconut milk, a little butter and sugar, baking powder, and pandan. I will have to come back! This also has the best Halo Halo (Philippino dessert) I’ve seen (didn’t try it but it is the prettiest).

Coco Leaf is located in Little Saigon, Dorchester Ave. Parking can be a bit tricky here as everything seems to be street parking, that's what's painful coming in this area - but it's worth the trip if you're looking for Vietnamese spots! After eating a nice Vietnamese food lunch in this area, we were in the hunt for desert. Coco Leaf is a solid pick in this area and they also had assortment of pastries. We tried two (as pictured which was banh dua and matcha bun). Both were delicious and not too sweet which is what I look for in Asian deserts. Service was friendly and quick as when we visited it was in the middle of the day so there was no line. Ambiance is clean and has the typical vibe of a boba tea place! Our drinks were as expected -

Yummy. I love Vietnamese desserts that are not from Bambu. The boba here is good too. Just wish the shop was in a safer part of town. I can see why they close early compared to most other bubble tea stores compared to the rest of Boston. I got a che and a gardenia milk tea. I couldn't really taste the gardenia. But the rest of the drink was perfect. The che was everything I've dreamed of for Vietnamese desserts. A bag of ice was even packed with my order since I got it as takeout.

Coco Leaf is a gem, located in Dorchester's Field Corner neighborhood, on Dorchester Ave. They have been around for years now and I swing by here for a mango passionfruit smoothie every now and then. For $7 a smoothie, I used to think it was extremely pricey... but nowadays most places sell their drinks for around this price. The mango passionfruit smoothie from here is worth getting though. I get it every time and am never disappointed. I have noticed that the cup sizes have gotten smaller but it is what it is.

Didn't realize the owners changed to akoko by coco leaf but i usually just come thru here for occasional smoothie! Mango passion, the space looked a bit dark when walking in, the front is well lit during the day with natural sunlight. The employees were super nice, they have clover system and checkout is easy. We got our drinks in a few minutes and it was a refreshing drink for a warm day. A tad on the sweeter side for me but still good overall! They also have Viet che drinks which i may look to try next time in. Will be back again when around fields corner.

Very cute and aesthetic boba shop with lots of photo ops! There's a good amount of seating inside. They have quite a menu, from Vietnamese dessert to milk tea to food. I ordered the Strawberry Matcha Milk at less sweet. Even at less sweet, the drink was still pretty sweet. I think most of the sweetness came from the strawberry sauce/puree. The strawberry was a little overpowering, and I couldn't really taste the matcha. Overall, this drink was okay. My cousin got the Oolong Milk Tea at less sweet and with boba, and I got to try a little bit of it. This drink was really good. The tea flavor was strong, which I liked, and the boba had a good texture. It was perfectly soft and chewy. Service was good. I came with my mom, cousin, and aunties, so we ordered several drinks. Staff was patient and quick with our order.

I love che and this is pretty top tier, I inhaled mine in ~5 mins. Lots of different topping options with so many different textures! Favorites were the chewy jellies and mung bean, although they kinda skimp on the shredded young coconut. Inside is pretty cute, they got a fountain with a lot of plants and a stone Buddha statue thing in it.

This establishment needs a deep clean/to take more precautions. I came in and the first thing I saw was fruit flies flying IN their DISPLAY case which they take out and give to customers. Those are clear pictures of the fruit flies on their Pandan mochi cakes. I messaged the business about this and all they said was thanks they'll remind their workers. What about throwing the stuff away? I bought one of their banh bo nuong and I came home, opened the lid, and saw a hair on it. DISGUSTING. Would not recommend.

Their machine didn't work for my payment. They went to put my order in again and got it incorrect, I didn't notice, so my order was incorrect. They served mine in a timely manner. However, they forgot my friend's order. She has to go to the counter and remind them 15 minutes after ordering. The drink was fine

Located at Field's Corner near its competitor, Gongcha, Coco Leaf offers chè, milk teas, smoothies, and desserts. There's a wide variety of options and I opted for Chè Halo Halo and Pumpkin Cinnamon Milk Tea with Coffee Jelly for the fall vibes. The halo halo ($7.50) was layered with hạt lựu, jackfruit, beans, ice, ube ice cream, and more. It was well balanced and I didn't have any issues with the fruits not being fresh as some of the other reviews mentioned. I enjoyed this a lot, but it is pricey so this isn't something I would get very often. The pumpkin milk tea could've had a stronger pumpkin flavor, though I thought it was pretty decent and the pumpkin and cinnamon flavors complemented each other very well. The coffee jelly was too sweet, but the texture was good. I got 30 percent sweetness and thought it was just right.

This is a nice little dessert shop in Dorchester. It has a variety of classic Vietnamese desserts, but my go to is usually the coffee flan. The flan is a nice custard with crushed ice topped with coffee jelly. There is also coffee at the bottom of the bowl as well. My friend got a che with things like ice cream, coconut and pandan jelly on it. I think the deserts are okay. Sometimes the flan it's not the most consistent (sometimes you can taste the egg more than others). It's still a great place to try if you're getting into eating Vietnamese desserts because of the options.

Wow, Coco Leaf has changed a lot, since the last time I've seen them. The newest installations they have are the cute Instagram-esque backdrop with neon lights and the Buddha corner with comfy chairs. -- Totally the vibe. They serve the same amazing food fare that I love and enjoy. I always get the spicy garlic popcorn chicken and sweet potato fries. Both are delicious and not fatty. Their dipping sauces (I believe it's ketchup mayo) are delicious and a must have!

Came by on a Thursday morning to try their Viet coffee since my girls and I have been #TeamNoSleep for our Girls Trip here. The coffee was kind of watered down, yet half of them were overly sweet from the condensed milk. You can say there's no consistency with the sweetness. The Pandan mochi cake and it was DELICIOUS! We wanted to come back for more to bring back home, but due to timing we were limited with our stops. The Wake-Up Wrap was okay according to my friends. Cute little cafe in Dorchester. Beware of parking. Very friendly customer service.

Love Cocoleaf! My favorite boba tea shop in Boston! The boba is always made fresh and chewy. I typically order the mango passionfruit green tea or summer shade. If you like sparkling drinks, the fizzles are delicious. The servers always have helpful menu suggestions. At the entrance of the store, there's a bunch of tables. People are often working or hanging out. There's also bar seating with books to browse.

Great Vietnamese Che spot. Can't wait to come back. Cashiers were very nice. Quick service and dessert was spot on! I had the Che coco leaf. It had a bit of everything and everything tasted fresh. I liked how it wasn't too sweet either. Parking can be difficult, park further down the street, you might have to walk a bit. Dorchester can be alittle sketch so be careful.

Whenever I'm in the area right at fields corner station, I always try to stop by for desserts! Their Che is amazing and fresh; Full of coconut flavors. It's always packed with goodness inside the cup. Grass Jelly, Hot Luu, Pandan Jelly, coconut cream with slices. Hot luu gives it such a nice crunch. Can't find anything like that anywhere. Other goodies: Halo halo, tofu pudding, dessert cakes and cookies in the case, all the che combos.

I recently visited Coco Leaf - AkoKo café in Dorchester, and had such a wonderful experience. The café is bright and airy, and the décor is truly unique - I haven't seen anything like it in the area. I love the combination of café food with more of the traditional bubble tea menu. When I went in to visit, I wasn't 100% sure what I was signing up for, but was beyond impressed! The service was excellent as well - everyone we spoke to was so kind and attentive. Our top 3 orders: Dragonfruit fresca (I added mango): this was SO good. I'm a big bubble tea fan and it was sweet but not overwhelmingly so, and had the nice fizzy cut to it. My only quip was that I wish the specific dragonfruit flavor was a bit stronger, but whatever it tasted like was absolutely delicious - fruity and fresh!! Popcorn chicken: crispy, not too salty and perfectly hot when it arrived at our table. The popcorn chicken was SO good, and I think it would go well with essentially any meal - but was especially complementary to our sweet drinks and other dessert choices! Not too heavy, and truly just what we were looking for. Strawberry cream puff: one of their more popular dessert items, this was a big hit with us when we left. They actually offer the cream puff in multiple flavors, not limited to strawberry - but we did not regret our choice, and couldn't stop talking about the textures! Between the satisfying crunch on the outside, a not-too-sweet pastry and an incredibly decadent filling, this one is too good to miss. You have to try it! If you're in the area, I'd definitely recommend a visit to this café. It was a great find, and I'll definitely be back - and what a great place to take some pictures!

was being adventurous and went for the gardenia milk tea, it was sorta watery and was a vague hint of floral, not the worst but wouldn't try this flavor again server was nice tho! line was long but it was at very peak hours and drinks still came out decently quickly

Based SOLEY off of a Thai milk tea with boba, I give this place a solid 4 stars. There was a pretty substantial menu (Che, fruit tea, crepes etc) so I would love to come back and try more! The boba was delicious, the atmosphere is cozy, the workers were kind. My only feedback is my drink was not well mixed (you can see the condensed milk at the bottom) and the straw was too short for the really tall thin cup. Really small things, really. I will be back to try the desserts!

I got some kind of fruit and tea drink (I can't remember exactly which one it was) with Honey Boba and Lychee Jelly... I loved it. I also made the "mistake" of trying a chocolate mint macaron... which then prompted me to by the last approximately 10 they had left. I had a piece of Strawberry Cheesecake. Have I had better... yes. Have I had worse DEFINITELY. It was probably the 4th best piece of cheesecake I've ever had... I'm 44 years old and a BIG girl... so I have had a LOT of cheesecake.

I went on Saturday for lunch and it was so good! I order the Thai Panini along with one of the milk teas and added boba. One of the friendly staff members recommended. This was my first time having a drink with bobas and it tasted great! The atmosphere was a nice cafe style with added pillows on a window style bench. The prices and portions were great as well. I will definitely come back to try more!

This place is so cute. I stopped by while I was in the neighborhood. Good customer service. Lots of variety on the menu with their drinks.

CoCo Leaf is a good choice when you're craving bubble tea and you want to study or just meet up with friends. The staff here are very quick to serve you and polite. Most people that come here come to hang out or to study. The only thing is that sometimes street parking is hard to find during peak rush hour. Their Taro bubble tea isn't that good and tasted powdery. I honestly couldn't even finish it and I had to throw it away. However, the Brown Sugar here Is amazing and is probably one of the best I've ever had! It's very sweet, creamy, and the boba was the perfect soft and tender texture. As a bonus, they also have in a rewards program that you can sign up for!

Coco Leaf has some of the best Che I've had, period. The Che Saigon is a winner, folks. Delicious pandan jelly (with the perfect bite and QQ to it), grass jelly, young coconut, and coconut milk come together in a ridiculously refreshing way. The best way to eat this is to just mix it all together, dump it straight down your throat, and get a brain freeze. KIDDING! You eat this delight however you want.

Found this spot on Yelp and decided to stop by to try the che that was being raved about! Each element was delicious in the Che halo halo. From the flan to the ice cream to jackfruit and beans. Also got the thai milk tea with tapioca and it was on the watery side.

I've been called a Boba thief And it's true, but please don't give me grief Cause when you taste this tea You'll be stealing, like me Especially Boba from Coco Leaf! Coco Leaf is that one that is over on the other street that is not next to Bambu (sorry I get confused between all the similar Boba places in Dorchester, so that is for my clarification). I definitely enjoy their Okinawa Tea. It has a nice roasted flavor and good sweet Chewy Boba. Then I tried the brown sugar milk tea and I have to say I think it was advertised wrong. I don't think it's actually milk tea at all. I think it's one of those brown sugar milk drinks that is pretty popular on a lot of Vietnamese and other menus lately. It was still really good though - but it just tasted of milk and brown sugar. And she said the difference was it was more milky. How about just milky, with no tea! Next time I'll ask for that drink but with lots of black tea. Still, both drinks were delicious and service is amazing. Even though their Okinawa is good and they have some nice milk teas, I definitely think that their strength is their Che. So when you come down here check out the Che - authentic Viet dessert drinks. They are Vietnamese dessert drinks. Oh wait I just said that. I'm such a bimbo lately. So yes, the Che. Had it the first time I came here, wanted to try more, but got milkteadistracted. It's what a lot of others were ordering. It's what nearby Bambu is famous for, too. That's what I'll be trying next time I come down here - to compare them directly to Bambu. But for the wonderful service from both the guy and the girl that work here and the little kid as well - and for the excellent Okinawa and the good tapioca - they're getting a nice healthy five star rating from me for being yet another excellent Boba place in South Boston. Read the positive reviews and was totally let down. Got some desserts and they were just average at best. The customer service was good and friendly. Wouldn't bother returning.

The food and drinks are delicious in that restaurant especially the smoothies. The smoothies comes in all different flavors and all to choose from in the menu. You can eat lunch or have a quick dinner while you're there.

Many drinks are out... ended up ordering peach oolong and che coco leaf. If you want vietnamese drinks, go to bambu instead, it's just few minutes away.

Coco Leaf is my go-to spot for cold chè AKA Vietnamese dessert drink/soup. Chè comes in many forms but if you're looking for simple, fast, and refreshing chè then Coco Leaf's got you covered. For hot chè then yeah you want to go to your more traditional Vietnamese places. I love their Che Saigon which consists of a coconut milk base with hot luu (mock pomegranate seeds made with jicama and tapioca), pandan jelly, coconut meat, and grass jelly. Super tasty, refreshing and wonderfully sweet. Coco Leaf also has bubble tea, snacks, and more dessert options like crepes but I go here for their chè. The passion fruit jasmine fruit tea is also a delicious option.

Fantastic Vietnamese tea/coffee/dessert shop for those who feel like venturing outside of the typical Boston boba places. Went here on a whim for a pre-dinner snack (lol) and then couldn't stop eating everything. The menu is quite expansive (snacks, milk tea, specialty viet drinks, coffee, smoothies etc etc.), which was a little overwhelming at first. They also have a dessert display where you can drool over all the enticing pastries (and where we got baited into getting a pandan mochi cake). We eventually opted for the popcorn chicken, che halo halo and the pandan cake. Here are my thoughts: Halo halo (4.5/5): As a disclaimer, the only other halo halo that I have tried is Jollibee's, so I didn't have crazy high expectations. Nevertheless, this was delightful! Halo halo is like a conglomerate of seemingly random ingredients, textures and flavors that somehow work together to make a delicious hybrid between ice cream sundae and boba tea. Pandan cake (5/5): Great flavor, texture and massive serving size! For those that have not had pandan, I'd describe it as a vaguely grassy vanilla flavor. Popcorn chicken (3/5): As tasty as this was, I have to say that I have had better. The breading is a little more McDonald's-esque than classic Taiwanese popcorn chicken, but it still hits the spot I guess. Will definitely be back to sample the other million options they have!

The service was generally ok, I ordered a jasmine milk foam tea, I wasn't asked a size but just went with it. I asked the type of milk they used because of a lactose intolerance, they assured me it was a non dairy milk, then I asked how much cheese foam, to which they replied it would only be a little at the top, so I ordered it. When I got the drink the entire thing was cheese foam with little to nothing else and I had to throw my drink away! It's not my first time coming here, so I'm pretty shocked at this mistake. I'm not sure if I'll be back again. However I also ordered a mango mousse dessert which on the contrary was tasty.

I used to be obsessed with this place but the most recent time I went I felt a little disappointed. The halo halo was good but the ube ice cream tasted like vanilla ice cream with purple dye. There was no ube taste and the vanilla tasted weird with the other toppings. The other che we had was great and I really enjoyed the basil seeds however the jack fruit was rotten. I had to spit it out and after I tried the jackfruit the whole che was ruined. Ended up throwing it out because I was afraid I would get sick.

Very dirty place, I used to like it but now I wouldn't send anyone here. I got a stomach ache from their che, I think the coconut milk was sour.

I'm so thrilled about this new boba tea place! It's not just for the milk teas, they have sweet and savory crepes and great lunch items to snack on too. And the interior! It's absolutely amazing. Beautiful modern day cafe with well-utilized space. They have a huge community table, a high top and several seatings up front if you want to stay awhile like I did. I ended up getting a lot of my work done because of their fast wifi. Love it! Banana Nutella Crepe- Some tart from strawberries and sweetness from banana, nutella and cream inside this warm thin pasty, oh the indulgence! Fried Soy Garlic Chicken- Talk about addiction. These little bites are flavorful, crispy and freaking delicious! Sweet Potato Fries- Awesome. Assam Black Milk Tea w/ Lychee Jelly & Flan- Can I have this everyday please? The combination of smooth tea flavor with creamy milk and the toppings were such a delight. Overall Service: Great people! They were polite and friendly and I totally would become a regular here if it was conveniently located near where I live or work. I'll certainly be back regardless!

Love love love this place! Love their constant growing menu. My favorite is their summer drinks - wayyyy better than Starbucks refreshers! They've also got small eats(popcorn chicken) and sandwiches/wraps. Never been disappointed with any choice. The two owners and their staffs are always so kind and professional! I'm happy to see they have a second location on Newbury St! I'm bummed that I moved to the south shore so hopefully they expand another location here .

It's amazing that it's open during the pandemic. Everything is behind plexiglass, workers wear gloves ,and overall very healthy conditions. I can't say the same for the brown sugar boba, because I probably got diabetes from this drink. The boba has a nice chewiness "q" and the brown sugar is amazing. You might need to mix it a bit to spread the ice and make the bottom colder. Too bad face masks don't have holes for a straw. I think you can sit inside, but I think most people take it to go. What are the rankings compared to Kung Fu Tea, Gong Cha, Cha Time?? Don't worry about it.

Visiting a co worker around the area and I got reminded of this place that I want to check out! Me and my friend decided to stop by and check what stuff they have and if it's any good, so we ended up getting this halo halo that they have. We ordered and waited for them to call out our number for the desert to be ready. But took them forever to make just one of it! I was wondering what happened when all the other people got their orders already. Kind of disappointed that day.

Presentation was excellent but food was bland. I expected more for the price that I paid. Thai milk tea was decent though. They may have given me free chips. Not sure if it came with the sandwich. People were nice.

I've been coming here pretty often after work. The small bites are great, and the hot tea selection is even better. I will say that I'm pretty disappointed with my service on 10/9. I'm normally greeted by a welcoming staff, but today was very different. There was a mistake with my tea order, I ordered hot camomile tea, and was given caramel pear tea (there seemed to be confusion when I was placing my order, so I wasn't surprised when the wrong order came out) however, the mistake was not received well by the staff. I understand that this is a busy time with youth presence being higher after school, and this should not reflect on service. I do enjoy the options of food and drinks here. Great snack items while getting work done. Now there is an additional charge for extra sauce, proper signage would be great to articulate change. Great drink options for a great price! Parking can be tricky, but if you are patient you can snag a good spot.

Probably one of my new favorite places to get Asian desserts + boba! The location is quite spacious and has a lot of options on their menu. I got the Sunkiss Peach Fruit Tea with crystal boba and my boyfriend got Che Thai and they both were soo GOOD. The fruit tea and che thai had just a perfect amount of sweetness. Prior to this trip, I was not a fan of che as I have had it at other places but Coco Leaf sold me. I have yet to order any of the food on their menu but I've heard many good and positive things about it and I will definitely have to give it a try next time! If you're ever in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by and ordering something! :) The only con is that there is very limited street parking so you may have to park a little far, but trust me it's definitely worth!!

Such a hidden gem right in the heart of Fields Corner. Walked in and it was such a warm environment. People working on there laptops, what looked like friends getting together. Now I've never had Boba tea before. The lady taking our orders was so patient with is (alot more then I would of been lol) she exp6the difference between the teas, hot/cold and shakes. They had so many different Boba's to choose from. My niece ended up with the Coconut shake-mango, jasmine, and peach (I know a weird combo). Me on the other had I opted for Creme Brulee. This is my first time trying it and let's just say I came back the next day to get another one. That's tells you how much I like it. They also have a variety of desserts, crepes, and other food items.

Post Pre-Grad meal with friends plan was to absolutely have to get Coco Leaf for dessert. Rush our butt here at 7:20pm as we just realize they close at 8pm. Our very giant group took over the entire place. Most popular order: CHÈ COCO LEAF: of which I shall never get - I abhor bean-y desserts. But my beanie friends love them and state they are very delicious. Very colorful looking would be great sans-bean (per me) CHÈ 3 MAU: another beaniful dessert. One opinionated person who have previously "bean" here before states it is VERY SWEET. They discourage another from getting this, who then got the Coco leaf instead. So my take is don't discourage people from getting what they want, let them taste it for themselves. Also go with your gut get what you want screw what other people say. This review is useless. CHÈ OKINAWA: EXTREMELY beautiful looking. Per friend they are not a huge fan of purple potato so it was "OK" but they totally thought the mochi was banh bo so that was weird XD CHÈ CHIA: "Good", chia yay BO DAM (Smashed avocado): By far the most CONTROVERSIAL dessert of the day. My non-asian friend who like avocado smoothies was convince by previously stated "opinionated friend" to get this particular dessert. Upon tasting of said dessert he was instantly not satisfy. Thought that it was weirdly tasting, minimally sweet and not good. Another friend tasted it and thought it was also not good. Yet 2 other people who got it was like "THIS IS WHAT I LIVE FOR" (basically). "From the first moment I've tasted this, I knew I was in love" (exact transcript) per persona A "Oh this is good" - per persona B (who is very picky and hate everything I like) So in conclusion of the avocado story: you'll like this if you like smashed avocado, mix your dessert correctly Me, well I wanted basically everything (sans beans) but this is what I ended up with: CHÈ SAIGON: Things I like in a Vietnamese dessert is Hot luu (translate to pomegranate seed - which is what it look like but I have 0 clue if it's even made from pomegranate seed). Cendol (pandan jelly aka green wormy looking thing). Coconut anything. And this dessert have them all... Sort of. While I am very satisfy with my Hot Luu. I am frowny face with my Cendol. Well they advertise it to be "signature pandan jelly" they never explicitly said it's cendol but I cannot help but compare and WISH it was properly made cendol. It lack a certain springiness. Their SPJ is FLAT which is not the wormy shape of the cendol which is to me the reason why it's not as fun to eat. Zero bounciness. So sad. Flavor wise the dessert was good. I am very passionate about my cendol so I am sad but you know it's ok. Service wise, they were nice in a normal way. They made the dessert pretty fast too. Price wise super cheap, imo. Mine was under $5 and I felt like I was eating and eating, no end in sight. Side note: I am very mad and upset with some of my friends for mixing their desserts before everyone got theirs THUS accumulating to me not getting a giant picture of all our desserts together. So sorry for my pictures T_T

Pros: clean environment, organized, good food, great bubble tea Cons: the manager is so unfriendly and rude, customer service was bad, food and drinks are overpriced. Sir, I'm not sure what you're talking about. When did I bring McDonald's into your restaurant? I came in a few weeks ago and genuinely had a bad experience. I don't appreciate the fact that you had to make up some scenario about me "disobeying ur policies" just because I wrote a negative review based on my own experience and opinion. It tells me a lot about your character. And FYI, I have seen a lot of places like Bambu, Sweet Sip, or Kung Fu Tea offer their spaces for people without expecting anything in return. But again, they chose to be considerate of their customers. That's just how you run your corporation I guess, but it is horrendous that you had to make up a lie because you can't handle bad criticism. Sir, for the last time I have no idea what you're talking about. If this is your way of covering up my negative review, then I hope you know that this is defamation and I can file a report for this. The last time I've been to your restaurant was quite a while ago and I was not carrying any bag at all. I've finally had a chance today to write reviews of all the restaurants I've been to. If I must, I will come to your restaurant in person some time and deal with this. But for now I will leave it at that, I don't want to go back and forth based on a lie you made up about me. The Cream Puff you guys... AMAZING This place is so clean and their club sandwich is INCREDIBLE. This place is a gem. The drinks are so well thought out. They definitely didn't do any shortcuts. If the prices are a bit pricey for you, keep in mind of the increase in prices they have to acquire from their suppliers just like the increase in prices at our grocery stores. They also have to pay for the workers and keep up with maintenance. We don't blink an eye when we buy that beer at the bar or when we buy that wine. So, if you want quality and support local businesses, this is definitely SO WORTH IT. Get everything. Just do it. Never had some of the traditional desserts here? Ask about it, try it, and be open-minded. They're so friendly and polite here. Quality is unbelievable. I love this place.

Tasting menu! 6 of us were the first to sample some of their desserts. The owners were very sweet and want our honest feedback. Try to see if you can get a reservation to come in and try! Their menu has an assortments of desserts ranging from Che to sweet crepes! Pricing is pretty decent! The location is perfect as it is right across from fields corner station! Really enjoyed their fruit tarts made with vanilla bean and fresh fruits. Right amount of sweetness. Will be back! :)

Though the storefront of Coco Leaf isn't wide, the space runs deep and is pleasantly spacious. Place your order at the counter - they accept credit cards - and wait for your number to be called for pick up. Though not abundant, seating is available at a number of tables as well as at a large communal table with bench seating. Courtesy water is available in the back, beneath which is a bin for you to stack your dishes and silverware. There's also a yellow bin of games laid out for the fun and leisurely. The staffer at the counter was helpful, not only verbally describing the additional 3 savory crepe options not currently listed on their printed take-out menu, but letting me know that the crepe was rather large when I was considering adding an order of their $5.50 popcorn chicken. The Thai Crepe $6.50 (Roasted chicken, Thai basil pesto, hard boiled egg, tomato and romaine) was tasty and filling. The crepe itself mostly tender though crisp along the edges, the hard boiled egg more tender and soft than I'm used to (in a good way), but the tomato sadly pallid. I noticed after the fact that they had not strictly enforced their 1pm rule (their take-out menu states that savory crepes are served till 1pm, and sweet after 1pm) as it turned out that I had arrived for lunch a bit after due to my search for parking in busy Fields Corner. I appreciated that, although for Coco Leaf to be a considered a true lunch option, it would be appreciated if they would officially extend the savory crepe availability till 2pm. With the edge of my hunger now satiated, I returned to the counter with dessert in mind. They fill their cream puffs with some flavors that are always available and others that aren't, so the cashier suggested that I try the Thai Tea cream puff ($3.21 after tax) over the always available matcha. It was good sized, with the nice crisp hallow pastry well filled with dense creamy goodness. I visited their closer handicap accessible unisex private bathroom and noticed it was missing hooks, whether on the door or by the toilet. The Red Line Fields Corner T station is but a short walk away. *** 9/2018 *** I didn't realize till I got to Coco Leaf with my Vietnamese sub already purchased that the savory menu at Coco Leaf has since much increased, and is now available till their day's end. Their sweet offerings have also increased, and I have my eye on their baked pandan mochi for $2. Shakes and milk teas are also available, but I went with the $6.50 Che Halo Halo off the Che Menu. The scoop of ube ice cream was good but petite, the two flan cubes rich and creamy. I drank it all and ate maybe half the stuff. This is a rather filling dessert if you should decide to consume it all. All in all, I think I prefer the 3 flavor ice dessert drink that I've had before at various Vietnamese restaurants. There might be a bit too much going on in Coco Leaf's Che Halo Halo. If I feel like Halo Halo, I'll probably make my way back to Quincy's JNJ Turo Turo. I look forward for a return visit, however, to try Coco Leaf's Roast Beef Panini $6.75 (roasted beef, bacon onion jam, provolone, arugula), Che Okinawa $5.25 (pandan jelly, mochi, purple jam, taro, coconut milk), Bo dam $6.50 (honey boba, mixed fruit jelly and avocado), and a few of the sweet treats at the counter.

I've been here over 5 times lol. I needed a place to study until late and this happened to be the only place accessible! Lucky me, they have delicious boba and food! I wouldn't say their boba is the best out there but it still does the job. I have a low tolerance for sweet drinks so some were way too sweet for me. However, you can adjust the sweetness level so I do mine at 30% and it tastes great. What I'm actually obsessed with are their small bites. I tried their popcorn chicken and their curry balls and ugh SO GOOD for their price! They have outlets and a few tables inside. Free wifi as well. They currently have a Christmas tree set up so it's quite jolly! I never had an issue with street parking but it can definitely get busy at certain hours of the day.
