Rooftop Cocktail Bar and Restaurant Coco Maya Opens in Little Italy - Eater San Diego

"The newly-landed Coco Maya is the latest from Grind & Prosper Hospitality. Touching down in the former Prepkitchen space above India Street, it’s been opened up to the San Diego sunshine, with a rooftop dining deck and a 30’ by 30’ skylight arching over the central cocktail bar. Pulling references from the Yucatan Peninsula and the islands of the Caribbean, its menu is based on shareable proteins cooked over quebracho coals in a Josper oven, like a prime 24-ounce tomahawk ribeye or a 1-pound slab of locally-caught swordfish." - Candice Woo

Tropical Rooftop Bars Landing in Little Italy and Oceanside - Eater San Diego

"Coco Maya by Miss B’s is replacing Prepkitchen in Little Italy, San Diego. The restaurant features a redesign by GTC Design Studio with an open-air, boho chic vibe inspired by Tulum, Mexico. It includes a central cocktail bar under a 30’ by 30’ skylight and a 900-square-foot deck. The venue offers tequila drinks influenced by the Yucatan Peninsula and modern Jamaican coal pot cooking from a Josper charcoal oven-powered kitchen. It is scheduled to open in October." - Candice Woo

Google
100% honesty. I heard some not so great things about previous food experiences here, but let me tell you… the new chef at this restaurant is amazing! 10/10, no notes. In addition, to the fantastic cuisine, the waitstaff and host were so warm and inviting, which ultimately forced my hand in writing this review <3

Google
Came as a large group and luckily they had a table for us. The drinks came out all at the same time which was appreciated. The food was delicious. I enjoyed my ceviche and others enjoyed the coconut shrimp and churros. I like that my drink was strong. There were plenty of styles of drinks to suit everyone. Overall a fun place to hangout and people watch

Google
The Coco Maya is such a chic and beautiful restaurant! It gives Miami vibes with all the green plants, pink striped umbrellas, gold accents (including gold flatware) and a DJ! Even the drinks were beautiful! I was so excited when I saw they had a Boricua Bowl on the menu. The rice wasn't my favorite but the sofrito seasoned meat was a treat. I highly recommend this place for a chic brunch in the heart of Little Italy right near the farmers market. Get your girls together and Brunch! (Please not that these photos do NOT do the restaurant justice. It's soooo much more beautiful!)

I’ve been here many times for breakfast and brunch but never for dinner. I went with the wife and some friends. It was a Monday and was pretty dead so the service was fast Blake was our waiter and bar tender Blake was very attentive and helpful. Coco Mya always has amazing Drinks so you can’t go wrong with any, alcoholic, beverage, We had the nachos, bread and ceviche for starters the ceviche is Peruvian style and it has a bit of a kick but amazing. Are mains were the lobster pasta and short rib pasta the short rib pasta was a bit on the sweeter side. That was unexpected. Not my favorite but the lobster pasta was good.the menu for dinner is small but has just enough. I personally wouldn’t go back for dinner but there brunch is fire.

Google
We were in SanDiego visiting and wanted to find a fun breakfast place that had great views and vibes! We found it at Coco Maya! Our waitress Noelle was so warm and bubbly. She recommended the Mango Guava Spritz 🍹and it was delicious and potent! We ordered chicken Chilaquiles and it was so goooodd!! Get the sauce on the side for crispier long lasting chips. The restaurant itself was beautiful and trendy inside. It was adorned in pink but my very masculine husband still loved the look of it. It felt rich! The food is a bit pricey but overall we loved the experience and food! We were in and out and didn’t have to wait long to eat. We went on a Sunday morning around 9am. When in SanDiego we would deflee come back again.

Google
This restaurant got a nice rooftop with a beautiful ambiance. We shared a bottle of champagne. Came here actually for pre-drinks during the day. Ordered some Tuna Poke which was great. Perfect for a nice sunny day in San Diego!

Google
I had the poke with brown rice instead of chips, and it was very good. The place has a nice view and a good vibe. The host was great, but the service from the server could definitely improve.

Yelp
What an excellent place for brunch! It is very cutely decorated and has a really fun atmosphere. There is outdoor seating and the seating is located on the second floor. There are stairs at the entry and they have an elevator as well. The service was superb & the servers and staff were very attentive, nice, and helpful. The food was AMAZING. They have very creative & unique options. I had the Brioche French Toast and it was truly delicious. It was made differently from how I've seen it made before, in all the best ways. It was fried on the outside but still had a perfect texture on the inside. The chef is truly phenomenal. Parking can be really tough in Little Italy where this restaurant is located. Also, it's a bit of a tight space with the large bases of the umbrellas and other furniture on the floor. I unfortunately tripped over one of the large umbrella bases on the floor and hurt my toe. Be sure to watch where you are walking. I could see this being difficult when it's crowded and after a few beverages. Note that the music is on the louder side. All in all, this is a fun & very pretty place for brunch and the food & service are phenomenal.

Yelp
Coco Maya is a Caribbean fusion rooftop located in Little Italy with tropical vibes, flavors, and all the feels! The drinks here were absolutely delicious and transported you straight to a tropical beach with the coconut and pineapple flavors. There old fashioned even had tastes of smokey coconut and sweet vanilla floral - it was one of the BEST old fashioned I've ever had (definitely top 3)! My other favorite items were the coconut shrimp with a sweet pineapple glaze that I could literally drink, and the rigatoni with a creamy mushroom ‍ sauce with freshly shaved truffles to top it off. We ordered: Frozen Coconut Margarita Martini Marquesitas Espresso Martini El Cucuy "The Boogieman" 10/10 (one of my favorite old fashioned drinks I've tasted) PinaColada Prosciutto flatbread House bread Coconut shrimp 10/10 ‍ Rigatoni - with truffles Lobster Gnocchi Short Rib Pappardelle Truffle fries Mexican Candy shots Follow @allthingsfoodwithjandm for more must try San Diego restaurants, date night ideas, food experiences, kid friendly spots, with a sprinkling of home-cooking!

Yelp
I've been to Coco Maya a few times but this is my first time posting a review. My husband once wanted lunch during brunch hours, and they were really accommodating, which I appreciated. This time, my friend and I split the chilaquiles and ceviche. The ceviche was okay--I'd give it 3 stars. It wasn't very filling and honestly didn't taste like a true ceviche. The chilaquiles were a bit flavorless, which was disappointing. But i love the drink tower! That said, the ambiance here is fantastic--it's a rooftop bar with great vibes, and that's why I keep coming back when friends are in town. Coco Maya is definitely pricier and I don't always feel like you get the most bang for your buck, but it's a cool place to hang out. For food, I actually prefer their sister restaurant, Miss B's Coconut Club by the beach, but Coco Maya wins when it comes to ambiance and the rooftop experience.

Yelp
What a vibe!!! Brunch was fantastic not just the food Im talking about service and atmosphere. People were vibing out the whole time. The place has a DJ music and great food on a beautiful sunny SD. The poke was so good. I never thought adding mango to poke would taste this good. Every single ingredient went so well together. The best touch was the wonton chips. Chicken and waffles also good the guava syrup was a perfect blend of sweet. My sis in law had the breakfast sandwich I for 2 seconds wishes I had ordered it. The bacon looked thick and crispy. Those potatoes were insanely good. Even our drinks were fire. Two more espresso martini please. Can't wait to come back.
google avatar

Yelp
The ambiance in here is everything and it's a really fun location being right in Little Italy overlooking everything. The food was disappointing. The bacon benny was not good and the hollandaise sauce had a bad taste to it. The potatoes were bland and seemed like they had been sitting out for a while. The French toast was dry and hard to cut into. The berries were good. The presentation of the French toast was nice. The service was fine. I wouldn't come back for brunch, but maybe for happy hour.

Yelp
One of the cutest bars I've been to! Walking up the steps to enter feels like walking onto the set of Love Island. The cocktails we ordered were delicious, and the bartenders are very fun to chat with. The venue is spacious but intimate, I made a few friends at the bar but there are plenty of secluded tables if that's not your thing.

Yelp
Untz untz untz -- this place is a party. The vibe is loud, fun, and youthful, complete with a live DJ. It's located upstairs with half indoor, half outdoor seating. Great for a friendly get-together or a date, though you'll have to talk loud to hear each other! Now, the food... not amazing, but definitely enjoyable. We ordered from the brunch menu: crispy cauliflower, chicken wings, pork belly Benedict, and drinks--Pistolera Paloma and the Pink Pony. Surprisingly, I loved the wings even though I don't usually like coconut. They're seasoned with coconut powder (I think?) and I'd definitely order them again. The cauliflower didn't land for me--I didn't like the texture or flavor--but my wife did, so it's really a taste preference thing. The pork belly Benedict was okay. The brioche was great, and the eggs and hollandaise were on point. I was just expecting the pork belly to be tender and meaty, but it was more of a crunchy chicharrón vibe. Not bad--just unexpected. The drinks were delicious, and I think the Pink Pony was a seasonal special. Overall, it was a fun experience with great energy. If you're looking for a good time, definitely give it a try.

Yelp
My friends and I were searching for a tasty brunch spot in Little Italy and we stumbled upon Coco Maya. Boy are we glad we tried it! I ended up going with the chilaquiles divorciados with the jerk chicken. The tortillas chips were drenched in salsa just how I like them. There was an ample portion of chicken and two perfectly cooked eggs right on top. My friend grabbed the lobster brioche Benedict which was excellent (I may or may not have snagged a bite). The eggs were also cooked perfectly and the lobster was super fresh and tasty. We also ordered the Maya Greens salad for the table which included sliced dates, tomato, avocado, and prosciutto. The salad was incredibly well balanced with the sweet and salty elements complimenting each other well. The service was excellent and all the staff were incredibly friendly. The vibe indoor is really nice and instagrammable if that's something you look for! Coco Maya is an excellent choice for a hearty breakfast.

Yelp
I'm such a fan of the ambience here! I visit frequently (solo) at the bar and almost always have a pleasant experience. Highly recommend going during HH to save some money. Their short rib is quite delicious, and their drinks are fun.

Yelp
We had a reservation for 6:30PM but we came at 6PM because we were starving and luckily we were able to get seated. When you arrive, there's a host stand at the bottom of the stairs but no one was standing there so we went up stairs. There was another host stand that we saw but no one was there either but we saw that the host was coming out from the back kitchen. She got the table set up and we were seated in the corner area. The bartender came by to greet us and gave us a few minutes to check out the menu. Then she came back with waters and we placed our orders of drinks and apps first. For apps we got the Coconut shrimp, the smoked jerk wings and the drunken mussels. The wings were our favorite. For entree, we ordered the short rib pappadelle, lobster gnocchi, and the salmon and risotto along with the side of seasonal veggies and truffle fries. Everything was delicious and service was good! The bartender was new so she didn't know about the food specifics but overall very enjoyable! I would definitely come back for a girls trip if we're in the area! Great for dates, groups of any size and they have a great patio also!

Yelp
The food here is absolutely delicious! · "Hands down, some of the best food I've had recently! I love me some Mexican food. Started with some great cocktails. I wanted to try their Caribbean Nachos. Short rib, poblano cheese sauce, crema, black beans, mango relish , cilantro. There were some great brunch items to try. My wife had the poached eggs with Lobster Caviar Benedict. My son tried the breakfast sandwich. We are so fortunate to have this place. Nestled in the heart of Little Italy in San Diego, California. You are right across the street and overlooking the Piazza della Famiglia, Coco Maya offers a contemporary twist on classic American dishes. Friendly service, flavorful food, stunning plating.

Yelp
Another 5/5 experience at Coco Maya. Noelle was our server for the second time, she has been amazing both times and made our experience so lovely! We tried out their house bread with jam and butter and it was so well made. A bit like a denser but still fluffy donut, little less sweet and paired with the incredible jam! The jerk wings were great, not as much jerk flavor but charred and cooked perfectly, with two good sauces to come with. The drinks never miss, either. We always try something new because every drink they make is so well-balanced & fun :) It was lively on Saturday night, pretty loud but a great energy. Loveeeeee!
google avatar

Luiza M.

Yelp
One of the cutest rooftops, it feels like you've been transported to a tropical vacation! Just went to grab a drink but decided to get some apps and omg that house bread is to die for Will be coming back for that bread!! Overall great experience and excellent service

Yelp
Loved this place! I wish I took a picture of our food but we shared the truffle fries, pork belly, and short rib tacos. All were super delicious! The pork belly wasn't as crispy as advertised due to the demi glace but still so yummy. The music can be a bit loud, I definitely caught myself yelling just to talk to my friend. Cute place for pictures if that's your vibe!

Yelp
From the food, service and ambiance, everything was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We ordered the crops y cauliflower,Caribbean fried chicken wings, coconut shrimp and lobster tacos. It was all delicious. The ambiance is giving brunch with Your ladies, it's on the top floor and the front door to the stairs is so welcoming. The service, unfortunately the server forgot one of our orders but we weren't really caring because everything was SOOO GOOD. The executive chef Phil came to our table and hearing what inspired Him was beautiful. We will definitely come back again and again with even more family. It's amazing.

Yelp
This place is just beautiful! I came here on my birthday with friends and they treated us so well. We started off with some delicious drinks and some Maya Tacos which are pork belly and pineapple. They were amazing. We were interested in their happy hour but it's only offered at the bar area which had no seating left. Kind of a bummer but I will try it next time I'm in the area. The restroom area was just as beautiful and Instagram worthy! Just please try to be respectful of others. Overall,l I love this place. If you're looking for a place to host your next birthday brunch I would definitely give this place a try! We also came in another time on a week day and the vibes and ambiance were very romantic and relaxing. I would def give this place a try for your next date night as well!

Yelp
Super cute restaurant. Great customer service, amazing atmosphere, and delicious food. My husband had the Maya tacos. It's pork belly, smoked poblano, smoked pineapple, red onion, avocado poblano crema, queso, cilantro. I took a bite and the flavor was great. I had the Cubano sandwich with fries; which is pork belly, black forest ham, pickles, panela cheese, house made spicy mustard. Very good flavor as well. As for cocktails, we had the Pistolero Paloma its tequila blanco, cantaloupe, fresh lime, grapefruit radler. And a Frozen Coconut Margarita which is tequila blanco, cocount, fresh lime. Both drinks were really good and definitely not water down. You could still taste the liquor, yet very subtle which I enjoy. It was not just the juice mixes overpowering the liquor. Overall, If you're in the San Diego area, I highly recommend adding this restaurant to your itinerary. Such great vibe! The music could be a little loud, but if you're OK with it, this is the spot to go to.
google avatar

Yelp
Fun, aesthetically pleasing spot for drinks and pretty good food too! We really enjoyed the cocktails. Poke - this has a creamy dressing, and lots of filler (cucumbers, fruit, etc) it was tasty but I prefer more fish Steak sandwich - could have easily used double the amount of meat Chicken waffles - they use chicken tenders so it's all white meat Great friendly service, this is a good spot for groups

Yelp
Horrible experience. Server came 2 times, give us water and take our order. Never saw her again. Waited 20+ minutes for my check. I had to go up to the host stand to get my check taken care of. Food was ok. Nothing out of the ordinary. The vibe/decor is nice.
google avatar

Yelp
Easily the coolest designed bar/restaurant in San Diego. The staff is super friendly, the drinks are amazing and the food delicous. One of my new favorite spots. Amazing place!

Yelp
Came here on Memorial Day and thankfully had reservations since it was packed. Cute little rooftop restaurant/ bar that's pretty and has great vibes! For drinks we order the Morning Trap Mojito and Frozen Coconut Margarita. Both were very good and strong. For food we order the beef and plantains for an app, the steak sandwich and chilaquiles with half red and green sauce with jerk chicken. We weren't the biggest fan of the app but it was still good. Odd flavors but it worked, don't think we'd get again though. The steak was so tender and juicy. The chilaquiles had a little kick to it but flavorful. Service was great from the host to our server. Only downfall was how long it took to get our food and we got sat in small corner so we couldn't fully enjoy the whole restaurant ambiance. Our food took almost 45 min and we got everything all at the same time. Our server did apologize for the wait and told us the kitchen was backed up which is understandable considering how busy it was. Everything on the menu sounded good so overall would definitely come back to try more things and would recommend.

Yelp
Went here this morning for breakfast after the farmers market, and enjoyed it. It's very convenient on a Saturday she you are visiting the farmers market and they usually have tables available. You can do reservations or walk in if they have space, today we did a walk in. We sat by the edge of the roof, which was nice because we could people watch and enjoy the nice weather. The restaurant wasn't too crowded and the server came over fairly quickly and was pleasant.. We ordered the coconut shrimp and the poke to share, both of which I really enjoyed. The poke was fresh and had chopped avocade, little cucumbers and jalapeños that gave it just a bit of kick. The coconut shrimp were decent sized and it seems to be good quality. I like the taste was just a tad sweet. They were sweet like coconut but not overly. There are only 5 on the plate so it is a petty small appetizer, so just something to keep in mind. Overall I think the place is a bit pricey but the food was good and I'd go back. They do have a 5% surcharge, but it does say you can ask them to remove it if you want, which I think is a good business practice. We did not ask them to remove it but understand some people might want too. Parking is the biggest challenge in my opinion as it is either street parking or lot parking which can be pricey.
google avatar

Qiana W.

Yelp
"I was charged for water, $8. I wasn't aware. The server should have let me know when presenting the options. Also, a service charge was added, not sure what that is about. I did tip. I won't be returning. Seems scammy. I don't know how to feel about my experience." Atleast the food was good and the overall ambience was nice.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is amazing! It was a perfect day with perfect girl talk! It's in the heart of Little Italy, which if you know parking is problematic! So, be prepared to walk or uber. Markus (yes, he spells his name with a K), he is SO amazing, kind, and made the whole experience worth it all. -Markus, shine so bright love! You are the best.- The food was okay, I had the steak sandwich - it did not come with fries BTW! They have a lot of good choices from breakfast, lunch, to dinner. The restaurant is a complete vibes and picture perfect, so make sure you have your cameras ready.
google avatar

Lee O.

Yelp
Service was quick as we got there pretty early in the morning. Love the location as you can go to Little Italy, farmers market right afterwards. Food was quick and warm for brunch. I love that for the Chilaquiles you can do half green and half red sauce. I think I like the red sauce more than the green because there's a little bit of a spice cake to it. The green one definitely has a smoky or flavor. There is avocado and some poblano peppers hidden in the middle. There could be more chicken, but the chicken was cooked Soft and it wasn't too dry. The short rib tacos looked beautiful as well and it's an adequate serving. And you can't have brunch without a bloody Mary, which I asked for it to be spicy and it was more peppery. Decor is definitely nice. Tables are a little bit cramped if the place was packed, but otherwise it's a great brunch place that you can actually get a table for!
google avatar

Nancy B.

Yelp
The venue is so pretty and very aesthetic! Great for a girl brunch, and photos for the gram! Everything on the menu was delicious. We ordered wings as well but the camera clearly didn't eat first. Our server was great and even though we were 30 minutes early, the hostess sat us and we got drinks and apps ordered pretty quickly. Would definitely go again!

Yelp
Came for brunch on New Year's day. It was busy and they were short staffed. The limited waiting area (doesnt really exist) ends up being a line on the staircase. Once the hostess was freed up we were all seated and things moved pretty efficiently, thankfully. So this was the old Prep Kitchen Little Italy! I guess I've been away a lot time. I selected it specifically looking for a brunch spot close to a visiting friend's hotel in the area and it checked all the boxes: Great vibe with outdoor patio, daily brunch till 2pm, and lots of delicious sounding brunch items. I'm typically a sucker for chilaquiles so I went with that (with red sauce). It was very tasty and large portion. Others got the Benedict that has an interesting twist here as its served with sorta texas toast / thick bread, instead of an english muffin etc. And then the very intriguing dulce de leche french toast. I'll always pick savory over sweet but I definitely wanted to try it. Its super rich but light and fluffy on the inside instead of dense. So good but really sweet. Then its paired with a bunch of chocolate pieces heh. This is a kid's dream menu item. We also got some brunch drinks - classic bloody mary (ok) and prickly pear mimosa. Food came out quickly, service was attentive. Parking is a b*tch, expected. Good spot!
google avatar

Marlee B.

Yelp
Decor, ambiance, food are a YES. Service is mediocre at best. Staff busy taking shots with patrons at the bar. Disappointed when we had a mishap with our order. One of our items were incorrect. As a group, we decided to eat it anyway, because it would have take too long to get it fixed. When the bill came, we called out the charge for the wrong dish. The server responded with- yeah I know it was wrong. I saw you guys eating it. Aren't you happy with my mistake? Meaning she knew that there was an error yet gave us the bill with the wrong charge on it.
google avatar

Yelp
The girl who greeted us downstairs was very friendly and welcoming, we were excited for a fun night of drinks and music. came upstairs and got seated then waited... and waited... and waited.... 15-20 minutes go by nothing, I go to the bar and try to order and they tell me that I need to wait for my server to come to order, went back and waited some more, ended up just leaving and bumped on the way out bumped into the hostess and told her about our experience, she was extremely apologetic and I explained it wasn't her fault at all but unfortunately it was a horrible experience for us, needless to say we won't be coming back
google avatar

Yelp
Best French toast we had. Coconut water was served in a Coconut. Make reservations ahead of time. I afrialy did it 2 days in advance. Showed up immediately seated

Yelp
If you want good instagram pictures this is the place to go. From the dainty ambiance and drinks this place is instagram worthy. The service is nice and consistent and due to ambiance drinks and service I give this place a 4. As for the food, I would rate this place a 3.5/5. Food: - lobster Benedict 3.5/5 - good flavor but for the price and amount of lobster to bread I could pass on this. - spicy mango ceviche 4/5 - one of the best items we got, worth it super fresh - smoked jerk wings 4/5 - second best thing, wings are good and the sauces are interesting - Caribbean nachos 5/5 - the best items we had, flavorful and enough toppings for every chip to have something. Must get. - chicken and waffle 3/5 - pass, chicken tenders and waffle cone. The sweetness overpowered in flavor IMO the flavor profile wasn't it for me

Yelp
Came here with a group of 10 girls and they were able to seat a large party with reservation. Service was a bit on the slower side and server felt like she was in a rush, although it seemed really busy during brunch time. Ordered the Maya greens and it was yummy and portion was good for a salad! Very cute brunch place with vacation vibes.

Yelp
Tasty drinks and a super cute ambiance. Would love to come back and try some different cocktails. Perfect spot for a date or a girls night out

Yelp
celebrated my birthday here. I only came here coz of the ambiance and it just looked so cute here. The food IS delish. We ordered skirt steak topped with chimichurris. Skirt steak and chimichurri just go hand in hand. Brussel sprouts was sweet and crispy, my boys loved the churros so much they ate it all. &&& the moscow mule was perfectly made. Its usually a hit or miss with this drink... but this one was a hit.

Yelp
3/9/2025 - Where the Chicken Slaps, the DJ Sizzles, and the People-Watching is Peak Entertainment If you're not at Coco Maya, what are you even doing with your life? I came for the chicken and waffles and left in a full-blown situationship--with the menu, the music and overall vibe. Let's talk food: that chicken? Crispy, juicy, and clearly fried by someone who has survived heartbreak and channeled it into culinary excellence. The waffle? So fluffy it could file for cloud status. Pair it with a cocktail that slaps harder than your ex's excuses, and you're in business. Now the DJ... whew. They weren't playing music--they were summoning spirits. One minute you're sipping tequila, next minute you're dancing like you just got cast in a music video you didn't audition for. Zero shame. Full send. And the people-watching? Immaculate. Sit at the bar long enough and you'll see at least three birthday photo shoots, girl trip with face subtitles, two soft-launches of situationships, and one guy ordering mezcal like he's in a telenovela. The vibes are immaculate, the drinks are dangerous, and the bartenders could charm the foam off a margarita. 12/10, will return with a thirst for brunch and light drama.

Yelp
I would say this place is a must visit for the ambiance and decor. I don't know about the food but the mimosa was way too sweet. Two mimosas were like $30 something. I would say it's worth it for the gram lol. We didn't wait long and were seated right away, but it was early Friday. Service was great and fast. I would come back if someone wanted to Come but I personally prefer the $5 mimosas across the street at the pub

Yelp
you're in San Diego and want to go to the most girly and fun place ever? Coco Maya is a must-visit! We loved the rooftop and it totally felt like a mini-vacation. The music was upbeat (a bit loud, though), which added to the whole vibe. We ordered the BBQ chicken flatbread and nachos, and wow... we couldn't stop raving about them. The nachos might just be the best we've ever had! And the drinks? Amazing. The Bad Bunny is a winner--think tropical coconut goodness. Our waitress, Caroline, was super sweet and attentive. You can tell she really enjoys her job, which made our experience even better. Highly recommend Coco Maya if you're looking for a fun lunch spot with great vibes, food, and drinks!

Yelp
After seeing many posts about this place on IG, I decided to try it out for HH. I met up with fellow Elites Daniela & Marcela after a YEE we attended. I arrived first, and there was no one at the hostess stand downstairs. No problem, just go up the stairs and you'll be there! I sat at the bar first, admiring the decor and swanky atmosphere. It wasn't busy at all, which was nice. I later moved to a table to accommodate the 3 of us. We ordered the Maya Tacos and the Burger with Loaded Tostones. For drinks, we got the Frozen Coconut Margaritas and a Pineapple Mango Seltzer. We had no complaints about the food. Those Maya Tacos are absolutely delish! I mean, who doesn't love pork belly?! Lol The Burger looked damn good, and the Tostones were unique in flavor and presentation. I'd get those again on their own. Since it wasn't busy, we were glad to have our server so attentive. I think the prices are a little high, even for Happy Hour, but when you're in Little Italy, you gotta pay the price! The rooftop dining experience is a must for Instagrammable moments. This place would be great for a date night or a casual gathering with friends. I'd recommend it and will return again to try the rest of what they have to offer.

Yelp
This restaurant got a nice rooftop with a beautiful ambiance. We shared a bottle of champagne. Came here actually for pre-drinks during the day. Ordered some Tuna Poke which was great. Perfect for a nice sunny day in San Diego!

Yelp
Cute place but pricey for what you get. The service was very slow and also beware that they have a $100 cancellation fee once you book your reservation. Espresso martini as well as the other drinks were good, food was good but slightly mediocre for the price. I think if you want a cute place to get drinks at night with friends it's good, wouldn't super recommend for a dinner. service was mediocre especially being charged a service fee on top of the added gratuity...

Yelp
Came here for a nice date night and it is a good spot. The restaurant is bumping for a Saturday night which makes sense since it is beautiful, tons of greenery, and is a vibe. The coconut shrimp was fantastic. I got the halibut which was dry but they were nice enough to redo it for me which was better. My husband got the lobster gnocchi which was very good. Our appetizers and drinks came out quickly but felt the mains took awhile but to be expected for a busy Saturday night. The staff was very friendly and nice.

Yelp
The atmosphere and vibes are amazing here omg. The perfect place to meet up for drinks with the girls. The cocktails are amazing and the food is quite yummy as well. My favorite drinks have been the caribe welcome (the coconut drink), coco maya coctel, and the siempre verano. So aesthetic, fruity, and refreshing but still gives you a light buzz. Would definitely recommend for lunch or for pre-dinner drinks.

Yelp
A group of us went in for Sunday brunch to celebrate a few of our birthdays, and we couldn't have been happier with our experience! Our server, Noelle, was wonderful and attentive. The drinks came out quickly, and the espresso martini tower was awesome. The food was solid- especially the ground beef breakfast bowl, and the chilaquiles. There was a DJ, which made for a fun vibe. It was a great start to our day of birthday shenanigans!

Yelp
Quite frankly these were THE MOST DELICIOUS lobster tacos I have ever had. The tortillas were perfect temperature, the lobster was delicious and the cream, queso, and cilantro were in perfect proportion and the dipping sauce complimented it all so well. Not pictured is the coconut shrimp my partner ordered. That plate came with six jumbo pieces and delicious sauce that was a sweet and sour with a twist. Beyond the food, the ambience and service are great .The decor is lively and tasteful. And despite it being busy service was not slow. Loved the brunch vibes and would recommend this place. I can't wait to go back and try more things on the menu !!

Yelp
Came here for drinks and it's soooo nice! I had the Mango Guava Spritz. Omg, delicious. It was curated with mango vodka, guava and sparkling wine with a touch of lemon and orange bitters. The bartenders take care when making their craft cocktails! The only recommendation I would have is to have more bartenders because it takes a long time to get drinks made.

Yelp
This is a cute brunch place. The outdoor area can get pretty hot in the summer/fall. Customer service was very slow. The place was not super crowded, but food took 30+ minutes to come out. Everything else took 15+ minutes. We were just waiting for a while. * Boriqua Bowl 2/5 - The ground meat was very salty. The first bite was okay with the eggs. Then it became too much. We couldn't finish it. * Short Rib Tacos 4.5/5 - The short ribs were very tender, almost melting in your mouth. They were savory with a light sweetness. The only negative was that it was pretty oily. * Very Berry French Toast 4.5/5 - The French toast was pretty good. The inside was soft and moist. The outside was lightly crispy. We devoured it with the mascaporne cream and fruits. * Virgin Pina Colada 5/5 - Very fruity and refreshing drink. The portion was big also. * Birthday Churros 5/5 - The churros were a really nice treat for our friend for her birthday. They were crispy outside and soft inside. They also came with 3 different dipping sauces - chocolate, dulce de leche (caramelized milk), and I think condensed milk.

Yelp
We were waiting for our reservations for lunch and we decided to stop here for a few drinks. This location is located in the heart of Little Italy. I loved the rooftop and the vibes here . It's so colorful and decorated really nice. They offer breakfast lunch and dinner. They have amazing drinks. They offer a sweet Happy Hour also . They even offer a mimosa tower that is really cute . Lukas was our mixologist that day. He was so friendly and welcoming! He made us some yummy drinks . He went above and beyond with his service. We really enjoyed ourselves there . We would definitely be coming back . I highly recommend checking this place out .
