"Part of the Be Nice restaurant group – creators of Foxy Brown, Top Hat Deli, Lunchroom, and more – this is a Fort Lauderdale Beach, intracoastal-side place-to-be. This is a Fido-friendly restaurant, and limited dockage is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Post-docking, anchor any meal with its Scoobies – blue crab doused in garlic and oil." - Jesse Scott

"Among the long-time dish icons in Fort Lauderdale are the Scoobies – blue crab doused in butter, garlic, and a slight spice – at this Intracoastal-facing spot. Its other seafood selections are always stellar, too, spanning its ultra-crisped coconut shrimp and andouille sausage to shrimp-dashed jambalaya." - Jesse Scott

"Ah, the vibe is always so comparatively chill at Coconuts for being in the heart of the oft-raucous Fort Lauderdale Beach action. Tucked on the Intracoastal, its Scoobies – crab claws doused in butter – are the fan favorite. Fresh catch inspirations include a perfectly grilled mahi sandwich, smoked fish dip, and conch fritters." - Jesse Scott

"No one knew what a “scoobie” was until there were Coconuts. And, in case you need a refresher, it’s blue crab fried in oil and doused in garlic... and more garlic. There’s more to the timeless, waterside Coconuts experience, including its open-air patio, oyster bar, and a wild card, salami benedict come Sunday brunch." - Jesse Scott

We came two nights in a row and both times were great. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Even though they closed at 10pm, they never rushed anyone out and made sure everyone had a chance to order before the kitchen closed, which was really nice. The comfort bowl with lobster was delicious and the peel and eat shrimp had such a great flavor.

After a morning of deep sea fishing, the guys were looking for some great seafood and were pointed to this spot. It was exactly what we were looking for- still serving breakfast and option to have lunch. We asked our server for some recommendations and we were not disappointed! Our server was great-great attention, attitude, helpful and kept us laughing. Everything we had was perfectly cooked! Our only problem was that it was so much food we couldn’t finish it all! Wish hotels had microwaves!

I've been to Coconuts for dinner before and decided on going for their Sunday Brunch which did not disappoint. Tara our waitress was amazing at giving us recommendations from the menu. She was very friendly and attentive. We ordered their famous Scoobies as starters. And based on the recommendations we got their popular lobster club sandwich and lobster benedict. For dessert we decided on the coconut cheesecake. Overall a great experience and a must stop if you're in the area. Can't wait to be back.

It was my first time trying a few items from the sea, I couldn't have picked a better place to do so. Food was packed with flavor , and service was just as good. Their location gives you a beautiful view off their deck, and when you're done, it's a small walk to the beach. Will definitely be back, and I definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting ft Lauderdale.

Probably my FAVOURITE RESTAURANT EVER!!! Came from Canada and went 5 times in one week!!!! Food is STELLAR. Service is IMPECCABLE!!! Coconut shrimp, oysters, lobster boil, stone crab, crab cakes, lobster roll, and the CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE ICE CREAM SANDWHICH! WOW! I CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK! And the service? Even though it was busy Everyday!! It was AMAZING! Exceptional. I can’t wait to go back! I’m dreaming of the food still! We even had takeout one night and it was still amazing quality and such a yummy meal!

If i could give 10 to the service I would have done it for sure. Mike gives us the best service ever. He suggested us what to eat always with a smile very capable of accompanying the customer in this magnificent experience of the coconut. You can taste the fresh fish. I recommend the crab and you can not miss the coconut shrimps. a real delight. Important they do not accept reservations so you have to show up on site and wait or there is an area where you can sit if you find a place. The location is beautiful next to the marina and the view is amazing.

Absolutely loved this place, just off the beach. We had a table overlooking an inner harbor. Stone crab and King Crab were fresh and tasty. Even the crinkle cut French fries were crispy perfect. Service was prompt and very friendly. We got there when it opened at 11:30, thank goodness we did, the place was packed by noon. Deservedly so, this place is terrific!

Food was great! Very tender ribs, good lobster roll, sides were ok (nothing to write home about). Atmosphere is entirely dependent on your table, could be amazing or could suck. Really wish they took reservations.
