Yelp
I visited Cofax in Culver City, CA, after hearing rave reviews about their breakfast burritos from Eater Los Angeles. Located at the corner of Elenda St and Washington Blvd, the restaurant offers ample free street parking, which is always a plus. The cozy establishment features a few benches outside, making it dog-friendly.
Upon arrival on a Friday around 12:30pm, I found the restaurant to be about 3/4 full. The staff was friendly, and I appreciated the option to pay with contactless payment, making the ordering process convenient. I ordered the Chorizo burrito for $13 and the bacon burrito for $14. After a 15-minute wait, my order was ready.
Having high expectations for a restaurant touted as having the best breakfast burritos in LA, I was slightly disappointed. The burritos were on the smaller side, and while the Chorizo burrito had a variety of ingredients, none of them stood out in terms of flavor. The bacon burrito, on the other hand, was packed with chopped bacon, but it ended up being too salty for my taste.
Cofax also offers a selection of coffee beans, but I didn't notice the aroma of coffee when I entered the restaurant, so I decided to pass on it.
Overall, my experience at Cofax was decent, but it didn't leave a lasting impression on me. If you're a fan of burritos, I would personally recommend trying Undergrind Cafe on Robertson Blvd for a more memorable experience.
