"I see Cofax Coffee as one of LA’s best breakfast-burrito-and-coffee makers; it’s moving into a larger Culver City space at 10868 W. Washington Boulevard, just east of the 405, with signage already up at the former Quicksand cafe. The new shop is meant to be a bigger, bolder take on the tiny 2014 Fairfax original (which opened next to Golden State), and while coffee was the original focus the place almost immediately became famous for its breakfast burrito—using smoked potatoes from sibling Bludso’s Bar & Que—and those burritos are now even shipped nationwide. In the more-than-twice-as-large Culver City location they’ll offer all varieties of the breakfast burritos plus occasional specials and one-off dishes, catering, plenty of daytime dine-in seating, and the usual ever-expanding Dodger fan art and paraphernalia; expect a February arrival (date TBA) and Westside fans to flock for caffeine and burritos, adding daytime prowess to the neighborhood." - Farley Elliott
