Cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff. The menu for dinner was limited but with a well thought out combination to main entrees. The wait staff explained the dishes when served to our table. Food was a little high priced for portion sizes, we all had different entrees and all were delicious!

The food was spectacular, from taste to presentation. Service: impeccable. And the ambience! It's as if you're in 1920s Havana. Incredibly lush and gorgeous, both day and night. We loved it.

Such a great experience from start to finish. The food was incredible, every dish was flavorful, beautifully done, and clearly made with care. The vibes were just as good: warm, fun, and the kind of place you immediately want to come back to! Elizabeth was our waitress and she truly made the day! She was so kind, helpful, and genuinely fun, with the perfect balance of attentive and relaxed. She gave great recommendations, kept everything flowing smoothly, and added such a positive energy to the whole experience. This place absolutely delivers on food, service, and atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back, highly recommend!

We spent a week at the hotel for Christmas and being able to dine daily at The Colony Club was an absolute delight. Breakfast was the best bagel and lox. Poolside shrimp tacos and margs during the day. Beef Wellington for Christmas. Every bite was perfect, and the staff was beyond attentive. Thanks to the manager Kelly and his amazing team. We can’t wait to be back.

We went to the Colony Club yesterday for Brunch with a few friends & we had a horrible experience. Our server Kat P was really stuck up. Just because we don’t live in the area, doesn’t mean that you need to treat us the way you did. The same goes for your manager & other staff. If you have any food allergies, do not come here as they will still put it in your food anyway. We asked for the fries to be cooked not in truffle oil and with no seasoning as my wife is severely allergic. She had one of them and was having a panic attack about getting sick from them as she could taste it. We all had one and could taste it. They brought the manager out and the chef and they kept telling us it was cooked separately. They lied. Apart from that I said no dairy or cheese on my food and they still put it in. I was violently sick for the rest of the day and we had to leave Palm Springs early. Apart from that the food prices are not worth what is brought out to you. If you don’t have money they do not respect you. Not even worth going here.

A perfect spot for a light lunch by the pool. We aren't staying at the hotel, but stopped in and really enjoyed our salads, the ambiance, and the sunshine. Sammy provided friendly, excellent service. We'll definitely be back!

Excellent! Great breakfast and lunch. Couldn’t experience dinner but we will next time. PSA - the service was great. Amazing crew who remembered the guests and took care of us. Yes - it wasn’t the fastest service I’ve experienced but it was some of the most catered and cordial service I have. This is a boutique hotel with a boutique staff. Slow down and savor.

Great quaintly aesthetic place to relax, enjoy the views, and people watch while dining on the patio by the pool. I took myself on a solo date and I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all. It’s a fun yet laid back atmosphere with good vibes all around. Can’t forget to mention the food and date shake was super delicious. I would definitely come back!

We stopped by The Colony Club for a low-key lunch. The area by the pool is a relaxing spot, and it definitely set the stage for the meal well. Service was friendly and attentive, but nothing over the top. The lunch menu had a variety of standard American fare - sandwiches, salads, and that kind of thing. Serving size on the Cobb salad was humongous, and delicious. Solid Bloody Mary as well. We'll be back!

Don't pay attention to the mediocre reviews, this restaurant is fantastic. Stayed here for a few days and we ate most of our meals here. Great service, relaxing atmosphere at the pool, great drinks and delicious food! Not the cheapest place to eat, but in line with the other high end places. Highly recommend.

I reached out to the Colony Club and asked if I could speak with someone about my experience. More than a week later, I have not received a response. I'm not surprised by the poor reviews for this place. Although the ambience is cute, the food was not good, and the chef's response to a question I raised was severely lacking. I ordered the crab cake benedict, which is described as having arugula on it. I'm one of those people who has a genetic aversion to cilantro. It tastes like soap and is inedible. For that reason, I always make sure there is no cilantro. I also asked for no onions or chives on top but it would be OK cooked into the crab cake. As it turns out, the "arugula" was actually microgreens (see attached), which includes at least one kind of leaf that tastes like cilantro. When I raised this, our server agreed that what was on the crab cake was definitely not arugula. She went back to ask the chef, who insisted that what was on the crab cake was "micro arugula." The chef also said that the cilantro taste I was tasting may have been because of the chipotle mayo. "Micro arugula" clearly is not arugula, as I tasted a leaf and again confirmed that this was the cilantro taste I was tasting. There was no apology, no offer to replace my dish. Instead, they made it seem like it was my fault that the ingredients weren't correctly described on the menu. In addition, the crab cake was FILLED with green onions, which is not a traditional ingredient in crab cakes. So, basically, I ate the egg and a few potatoes. Disappointing.

Fantastic experience at The Colony Club. Hard to describe the amazing ambiance of sitting by the pool but the words Timeless, Idyllic and Elegant come to mind. The Cobb salad and Shrimp tacos were outstanding, as were the drinks, but the true highlight was the friendly and attentive service. Recommendations were spot on, everything arrived promptly and when my wife accidentally left without a bag, a staff member literally sprinted down the street after us to return it. Can't wait for our next visit.

I must admit I was a little intimidated by the menu. The prices. The fancy wording. The lack of anything super recognizable to me. But the bartender who guided us to our table was amazing. So friendly and personable. Then our waitress was so professional yet down to earth. For example, at one point after we ordered, she delivered two deviled eggs to our table. Since we had not ordered deviled eggs, I told her that, but she said oh, they're (some word I didn't know.) I just looked it up: Amuse-Bouche. Um, what? So she said, "oh, that's just a fancy word for a free little appetizer." And then the first bite. Delight. Amazement. Wonder. Mainly wondering why I don't eat food this perfect every bite of my life. And it went on from there. She said they had a new chef who had totally worked over the menu. We decided to order what she had recommended. We had a starter of the Chicharrones ($17). Fried pork skins with pimento cheese. Handmade to order, still warm. Wow. And the pimento cheese! I took the leftovers home because there were so many chicharrones and such a generous portion of the cheese. Next we had Octopus Carpaccio ($27). She let me take home the menu so I know there was a pineapple gelee, truffle aioli, and rice cracker but all of that was very subtle. Like a teaspoon of the pineapple and aioli and the "crackers" were delicate little fluffs. The octopus was served in a round piece comprised of multiple chunks. Very unique. Cold, but not at all rubbery. All the flavors a delight. We had the Big Glory Bay Salmon ($39) which was simply cooked to utter perfection. The flavor of the little salad of cucumbers, asian pear, coconut cucumber yogurt, and hearts of palm was complex and we savored every bite. We also had the Diver Scallops ($48) and I simply could not get enough of the forbidden rice and pine nut and golden raisin soubise (I just looked it up, French for a sauce made of butter, onions and cream.) Please, can I take this home and eat it every day of my life? Pretty please? And don't even get me started on the ambiance. We were pool side. The weather was perfect. There were stars in the sky, palm trees, flowers. Even my water glass was special, not just some plain thing. And to address some other reviews, our waitress took away our salad forks and gave us entree forks. Our water was kept filled. There is still a 20% mandatory tip for 8+ people, and a 2% tip for the kitchen workers. The food came out in an unhurried but certainly not slow manner. And I agree that this was by far the best food we had in Palm Springs. In my book, this is a special occasion restaurant and I certainly felt like a princess eating there and would not hesitate to go again.

Stunning at sunset! Pristine setting...almost breathtaking as a 'fancy' restaurant...interesting view of poolside patrons and country club types together in a magical space .The menu is 'odd' or 'different' its not meat & potatoes..fine dining and some explanation of its presentation is necessary...its NOT kid friendly...its DECADENT and very $$ pricey,and shamelessly so. Smallish portions. Limited choices.

No kids are allowed but there's no mention on opentable or yelp. The ambiance is also outdated.

I have been dining at this establishment for ten years, since before the renovation: food is decent and ambience cute. The experience with our server Nathan was very underwhelming. Lack of attention and extremely pushy on alcohol (we are both sober) and dishes we did not care for. The attitude was pretentious and extremely off-putting, quite frankly spoiling the dinner. On the other hand, the Mexican bus boy, wearing a pair of very fashionable frame glasses, was an absolute delight to deal with, very personable and attentive. Promote him to server and send that snotty tall kid washing dishes or anywhere that does not require him interacting with costumers.

What a disappointment! Beware which menu you Google. You will not get a $17 burger rather a $39 burger and limited expensive menu. Food was marginal and took 45 minutes to get. We have no issues paying top dollar for good food but this was bad. When we asked to speak to manager he was defensive and did not think that comping a meal we didn't care for or eat was good for business apparently. It's a shame as the setting is great!

The food was absolutely delicious! The scallops and duck were fantastic, with just the right amount of flavor and spices. The service was great--though we waited a little, it wasn't an issue at all. The ambiance was cozy and romantic. I truly enjoyed everything! The breakfast is another chapter. The setting is lovely beside the pool and the food is great. This lace is a romantic spot.

We visited the Colony Club restaurant for brunch during our visits and we aren't big eaters so our experience is limited. However, during our many visits to Palm Springs we have had brunch at many restaurants. And, one of the reasons we picked this location is because my husband is an interior designer and the the restaurant was designed by a famous designer, and is known for its elegant ambiance. It definitely has an impressive "expensive classic Palm Springs" feel. Ambiance can have a direct effect on one's dining experience and in this case definitely a plus. We had mimosas and shared the hummus and baked eggs. All was good. The baked eggs come in a tomato sauce and are basically shakshuka, which right now seems a popular brunch dish. It was way too hot to eat outside, so we wanted a table with a view out over the somewhat iconic pool area with its green and white striped umbrellas, and those tables are limited. The one we were seated at was right next to the only door that the staff used to serve the outdoor area, there was way too much traffic to make it a relaxing experience. To the staff's credit, they re-seated us as soon as we mentioned the issue.

First, The Colony Club is great for lunch ( a splurge, but the food is usually good). This was the first time trying it for dinner and I have never been more disappointed or offended by a restaurant in a long time. 1. The prices were OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive. $65 for a pork chop? $29-$40 for an appetizer?? I mean the quality of this food isn't that good to garner those prices. 2. The salmon tartar - while the chips it was served with were good, there was not enough salt for this dish. The dish was super bland. There was a meager sprinkling of salmon roe for salt but it was so bland and it was $39!?!? 3. The corn & fennel chowder was actually good, but it was $29 for a small bowl ( the right size bowl for an appetizer but the price was way too high for soup. Soup - $29! It's not like it had caviar on it. This probably cost $3 to make. 4. The pork chop came pre cut!?!?!? Who precuts a pork chop for you? Only someone who doesn't know how to cook one would serve it that way. It's an easy way to test if it's done. It was slightly overcooked anyway. 5. The food runners- just drop off the plates with no explanation of what you're eating as if you should have memorized the menu. Maybe in fast casual restaurants I don't expect an explanation but for a $65 pork chop? You better explain it. I mean all in all the sheer audacity of this restaurant's prices did not reflect the quality and flavor of the food. Will never go there again for dinner and I'm pressed to say whether I'd go there for lunch again. What a HUGE disappointment.

Catch up brunch with old friends who are locals; they chose this as a cool, art-deco-ish spot for a meal close to the airport. You can read about the hotel separately -- adults only resort hotel. The room was reminiscent of the Beverly Hills Hotel or similar spots (I also thought about Le Colonial, a french Vietnamese spot with locations in NY, Chicago, and SF among others). Menu was an interesting if not too terribly complex brunch menu. The women had skillets; the men the avocado toast...everyone was delighted. Service was attentive and professional. Fully priced for brunch...but a charming spot for a nicer brunch.

This is tough, we used to bring everybody new to Palm Springs to the colony club for lunch or drinks by the pool and really enjoyed it. It is an iconic Palm springs hotel . I did not know it has been sold, and did not know they have double the prices in the restaurant. Two pancakes were 40 bucks. We had a table of six, three people ordered the Croque Madame at $44 each. The waiter came back 30 minutes later, to say that no one had prepped the sandwiches the evening before and that they were not available. The table next to us ordered two of those as well. While we love the hotel ambience, we won't be back.

If you Google this restaurant a menu comes up that looks nothing like what you are offered at the restaurant. Neither the food nor the pricing share any resemblance to what's on line. The menu on line boasts a $17 burger. Surprise sucker! That burger is now a $40 burger. Adding insult to injury, it took 45 minutes for two sandwiches to be brought to our table. Unless you're looking for the opportunity to pay more and get less, you might as well go elsewhere. Shame on the manager and server for being so dismissive and never once simply saying "sorry for the confusion."

Ten of us went here for a friend's birthday. It took over an hour and a half to get our food. I ordered the risotto. It was a bowl with a strange frothy white liquid sauce with a few tablespoons of a veggie mixture on the top. You couldn't see or taste the risotto. The risotto texture was non-existent (for $37.00). My friend ordered the same thing but with scrimp, which was also basically non-existent. (Add 18 bucks for the imaginary shrimp). The server said that they chop up the shrimp. You couldn't see any pieces and four of us tasted it. Zero shrimp taste. Where's the risotto and where's the shrimp already? Who creates a mess like this? The place is poorly lit. Everyone had to look at the menu with their cell phone on. The chairs are too low for the table and they sloped back. Super uncomfortable. They automatically charged us about a 22% tip, PLUS a 2% charge for "kitchen appreciation"- whatever that is. I asked our server what it was for and she said it was for cooking the food. HUH? This isn't a grocery store- it's a restaurant and restaurants are SUPPOSED to cook the food. I've scratched this place off my list... and if you're smart, you might want to as well. Don't bother.

We like to stop by the Colony Club for a first cocktail and a bite to eat - after we arrive from Seattle. The beautiful setting near the swimming pool puts us instantly in the Palm Springs vacation mood. Out most recent visit was highlighted by our waitress Chelsea - she was delightful - while covering a lot of ground. We wanted to sit outside but in the shade and she found us a perfect table. She patiently and happily took some photos of our group of 3.

Don't let the less than stellar yelp reviews fool you - we took our chances and we were pleasantly surprised to have had a truly wonderful time at the Colony Club. We arrived at 5pm (their summer hours are 5pm-9pm) and had a great dinner. Service was very good, everyone was very pleasant and attentive. This was by far the best food we had in Palm Springs, and we are at some really good restaurants. We shared the spicy deviled eggs, which were really good. Different from typical deviled eggs and not too spicy. The real star for me was the chicken Schnitzel. It was so good! Juicy chicken, delicious sauce, the cucumber and raddish salad on top perfectly complemented it. My husband had the saffron risotto, which apparently was a new menu item. It was also very good, bright flavors and really unique. We will definitely be back!

Had wonderful lunch outside and the ambiance was so beautiful. Our server was so helpful with her suggestions as well. Was with my gorgeous daughter.

Had Christmas Dinner here. Service was horrid. They didn't take away salad forks after salad, had to ask multiple times to refill water glass, some waiter would just ignore you when you ask for something, didn't clear the front plates. They don't use a tablecloth and you can see stains all over the table. Ambiance was not great. Barista near by is throwing stuff around making loud noises constantly. Saw multiple people holding cell phone flashlights to read the menu because it was so dark. Food had some okay dishes, but main dish was disgusting and inedible. It was "a christmas story" themed and they were only serving a set menu Chinese themed. Presumably precooked and heated so they could serve the same thing to everyone and save money and charge exorbitant prices. I couldn't eat the main dish, wouldn't feed it to animals. Left most of it on the plate unfinished, and rest of it was spit out in the napkin. The other stuff was decent like the dumpling, eggroll. Desert was a "panna cotta" which was completely fake, it was literally just yogurt with almonds in it. Had massive diarrhea a little after dinner as well. Money isn't really the issue but way too expensive for what they were serving, especially a set menu they're mass producing in the kitchen. If i was still paying $125 per person, i would've preferred panda express on nice plates rather than their food here. And they automatically charge 20% tip so they have no motivation to provide a good service or provide descent food. Avoid at all costs.

My favorite thing about this place was the communication from the staff as we were seated. As soon as we sat, the server let us know that they were understaffed and the food would take longer than normal. We didn't have anywhere to be, so we were fine with this and appreciated the warning in advance. I am giving 4 out of 5 stars because i felt like after we paid, they totally checked out (which would make sense, but we had to ask for takeout boxes 3 times and then had to get up twice to ask and then eventually had to get up and wait to get the boxes) The food was great. I highly recommend the French toast and the breakfast sandwich sub the meatless sausage! The ambiance is beautiful- poolside at the resort. Very fun brunch spot!

Nearly a month ago, I made reservations for Christmas Eve dinner at the Colony Club. Several members of my party have Celiac disease, so I wrote management to confirm that gluten-free food would be available. At the time, I received written confirmation from management that our dietary restrictions would be accommodated. This included a hand-annotated menu confirming which options could be made gluten free. Christmas Eve arrived, and so did we. Unfortunately, we were informed that gluten-free options were in fact not available. After producing a record of my communications with management, we were told that the email by which the Colony Palms front desk communicates with guests--the one email by which guests can have any contact with the Colony Club Restaurant--is manned by personnel who have no idea what goes on in the restaurant. We are still unclear--just as the Colony Club personnel we spoke with were--who from the Colony Palms scanned us an annotated menu including options that were not in fact available, causing us not to make alternative Christmas Eve plans in reliance on this misrepresentation. Evidently, the one hand has no clue what the other is doing. Would avoid if you have dietary restrictions.

The food here is terrible. Giving 2 stars for the ambience, this is a nicely designed space with an high end intimate feeling. Service was just ok. Food was inedible - risotto was watery, foamy rice, steak was weirdly cut in half and overcooked. Price was not inexpensive. We just cut our losses and ate somewhere else later.

Outrageous prices. Underwhelming food. Indifferent service. All in a romantic setting. Bottom line: It's one and done for me.

If you are looking for a fun and nostalgic or special and romantic place to enjoy a delicious dinner or a yummy brunch this is your spot! The Colony Club offers a convenient valet right at the main hotel entrance, which by the way is such a beautiful boutique hotel for your next special getaway. Anytime of the day the views and vibes are stunning. Don't forget to snap a few pictures of their lovely landscaping and design. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy The Colony Club!

The staff were very friendly and kind. However, the food was just average. The coffee was decent, but the food was nothing special. I appreciated how nice the staff were.

I just realized I left two poor reviews in a row and that's not really my style but this trend to closing before your posted time has got to stop The Colony Club is located in a boutique hotel near the north end of downtown. It is beautiful inside without being pretentious. We ate twice over the course of a couple of weeks so this review is based off both visits. Let me say that the service is excellent. And that's everyone from the host to the server to the bud staff. The food is solid not spectacular but the price value seems appropriate. Some dishes were better than others. For breakfast two of us had the baked eggs. That was the winning dish. Served piping hot, good portion, savory sauce. They both loved it and my taste had me wanting more. I had a chicken Cobb salad which was tasty but missing the blue cheese. Another friend had the French toast which he enjoyed but I got sugar overload looking at it. On the dinner night I had the grilled sea bass which was beautifully prepared and piping hot. The piccata type sauce was a little too much. I don't like to hide my fish. My partner had the steak which he enjoyed but it was standard. We shared a salad which we enjoyed- greens and nuts and veggies.

Great food and service inside the Colony Palm Hotel. The beef kabob was juicy and full of flavor. The chicken sandwich is to die for, it has a delicious BBQ sauce that melts in your mouth. In addition, the truffle fries were perfection. The service was fast and servers were very friendly, I will definitely be back.

Food was okay. The dish we ordered was incredibly salty, we asked the waiter to send it back, and he said even the chef agreed it was too salty. He asked us if we wanted anything else, and we said another order of chips (they were delicious). The bill came with the salty dish AND the chips. We asked our waiter to take them both off, and he said "I spoke with my manager and the best I can do is take off the dish, but not the chips." Which is wild to me, because they took 30 minutes to come, and we only ordered them because he ASKED if we wanted anything else due to the salty plate... very strange they couldn't spend the extra $13 to avoid a negative experience and an unhappy customer. We unfortunately won't be coming back.

Getting there: When you walk inside of the hotel you are greeted by the entrance, the pool in the middle then the restaurant is in the back. It has a beautiful terrace where you can sit poolside or you can decide to sit inside. Experience: I just want to say this place has remodeled and is gorgeous. I hadn't tasted the food prior but I ordered the brio French toast and it literally comes with a half loaf of bread...HALF...but it was the most delicious French toast I've ever had. Needless to say I could not finish it all. I would 100% recommend!

What to love about the Colony Club? The setting and the outdoor patio are gorgeous. The food too is terrific. However, the service is horrible and the indoor dinning room is too loud. Last night as an example: -We arrive and the hostess is no where to be found. She emerged from a group of staff who were chatting over near the kitchen door. -Our server left a drink off the initial cocktail order. It took 15 minutes to get her back to the table to order another cocktail as a replacement. -Our server left one of the entrees off our order. When we mentioned it to her, it took 40 minutes to receive it. -Our server never returned to bring desert menus. We had to go find her in the restaurant. -Our server took our credit card and never came back. When we stepped away to find her (again), she brought two out and said she wasn't sure which one was ours. At those prices, the service should be top-notch. I will not return - as this seems to be a common thread amongst other reviewers. Its a shame too - as the property, the outdoor patio and the food are all worthy.

I cannot recommend Colony Club. Perhaps they will improve. My wife and I had a late dinner on a weeknight, 8pm on Thursday. We were looking forward to it. We had traveled to Palm Springs, joined by our little dog, for a business trip extended for a long weekend. Our experience at this venue was a disappointment, and I say that as a relatively easy grader if you look at my posts here in general. I wish I could say something else. As my wife said, at this price point you expect better. The initial impression was positive. This is a place that signals classiness, or, in a less positive light, privilege -- you feel as if you are entering a space where people who have the means to golf on exclusive courses would come afterward. The truth is I did not grow up going to restaurants such as this, or, for that matter, restaurants other than fast food, or on a special occasion a chain establishment such as Red Lobster. I am not sure my family would have felt anything other than awkward in the city of Palm Springs in general. I can afford to dine here now, again for a special occasion and not on a regular basis. But I would be foolish not to wish for an experience worth that expense. To reiterate, walking in, we felt good. People were enjoying themselves by a fire pit as you would picture in a television advertisement for a fire pit. The food was fine. We had eaten quite a bit earlier in the day, at a late lunch in neighboring La Quinta. We also had chips and salsa and sat outside at our Air BnB. That meant we ordered only two mains and a dessert, no starters. We also had a glass of wine each. We split the entrees, the seabass and the Impossible (vegetarian) meatloaf. My wife does not eat meat, and I am trying to eat less. We enjoyed both items. The seabass was prepared perfectly, with crispy skin. The meatloaf could not be distinguished from animal based protein sources, which is a description of praise, and I in particular have consumed quite a bit of the manufactured substitutes for meat, including in meatloaf form; this iteration was savory and dense and dark. The wine was good. I selected a rarity on menus, an orange wine, which had a bit of carbonation. The dessert, a butterscotch pudding, was sweet and creamy. With respect to what we ate, then, we have no complaints, and, indeed, I would be complimentary. The problem was the service. My wife put herself through school as a waitress, and she notes that when she assesses the treatment we receive. I was a theatre usher in the summer, and that involved filling many bags of popcorn. I don't like it when people overreact about service on social media. Someone who is slow with a glass of water is not someone who ought to be condemned. We all should have reasonable expectations. In this instance, everything was slow or wrong. Three people waited on us. They were all nice enough. For that matter, I would chalk up the mishaps to management and not rank and file. They don't have their systems running as they ought to. They forgot the wine. They brought the wrong dessert. Our observation is the issue was not limited to us; it was neither idiosyncratic nor discriminatory. The people at the table behind us complained directly to the waiter and requested their check earlier than would be normal if all were well. If you scroll through the reviews, which I did after the evening and not before, you see a pattern. I went in without any bias, since I had not read what others put up, and my impression is not "confirmation bias," but it is apparent we are not alone. That is my summary of Colony Club. Nonetheless, in a spirit of generosity, I'm selecting three stars for the rating. It may well be that when you, the reader, visit, they will have addressed these concerns. (And all three wait staff were friendly and gracious. To use the vernacular, this place just didn't have it together.)

Was a hotel guest and ate at the restaurant for snacks and drinks. Love the chips, truffles fries and edamame hummus. The cocktails were super good. Staff was super nice. Good vibes and good times

We had an amazing dinner at Colony Club. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is incredible. Our server Fabiola was so friendly and was so helpful. The Deviled eggs and pork belly was so good. The drinks were amazing too. Definitely worth checking out!

I had the most amazing experience here last year. Therefore I made reservations for this visit to Palm Springs with 7 colleagues after our flight and before checking in at our Airbnb. The staff was gracious and checked our heavy luggage. Drinks were amazing. Then things went sideways. Our orders came out at different times . The Cobb salad was not like anything I had experienced before . Dry chicken and a dressing that was as one of my colleagues said "tasted like hotel room deodorizer ". They took 30 minutes to get to our table and to make up for the wait they sent us smoothies that were milk based. Being lactose intolerant, this was almost adding to the negative experience. When the rest of the order arrived we should have been leaving to check in. The manager was stand offish and didn't take charge of the situation to make things right. After back and forth with the " chef" we were unhappy all around. I've worked in restaurants for years and would never treat a guest as poorly as this establishment did. Disappointing for sure.

Probably the best restaurant in America if you like paying $20 for two slices of bread Truly the most astonishingly, ridiculously, needlessly expensive restaurant I've ever been to. This from a lifelong San Franciscan and New Yorker. I'd book literally anywhere else. Enjoy the pool.

Oh the Colony House, for what I paid, I expected more and I got so little. This meal was $97.00, yes that's right, $97.00 and my boyfriend and I weren't satisfied to say the least. What's not pictured here is his veggie burger that wasn't worth the photo. To say it plainly, I do not recommend this restaurant even if your a guest of the hotel which we were, it's better to get in your car and drive around. Sorry, it's a no for me.

Very odd/unreal experience. Super quite Saturday night dinner. My waitress "accidentally" charged almost $100 over our bill, then when I called the manger (the GM) over to respectfully dispute -the apology was cold, with no amends or offering to cover a dessert or anything else, and an odd refund from a non-existent sushi store...somethingSHADY happening here...(food was "fine")

Sunday brunch at The Colony Club was great. The hotel is so cute and relaxing. I ordered the baked eggs and they were sooo good! We also split the french toast which was delicious but very sweet, probably not a stand-alone meal.

Super cute brunch spot! Wish they had more vegan options but when I come here with friends it's more for that Palm Springs ambience. It's lovely catching up while dining outside by the hotel pool :) Staff members are super kind, and the restroom is always kept clean! There's parking in the back or you can park across the street and walk.

A bit disappointing but not terrible. We came on Christmas Day and I expect holiday meals in restaurants to be busy and maybe not the best time to judge a place's service. But we had a late afternoon reservation and the restaurant was very quiet, so I'm it sure why our waitress was a bit out of it. I would rate the food 3.5/5 but the service was closer to a 3, which is a little hard to deal with when they charge an automatic 22% gratuity. A $120 per person prix fixe meal for 2 people with only 1 beer each became $360. That would be fine for normal service - especially on a holiday- but not for that meal. The starters were fine, the duck main was well cooked, but the "panna cotta" was more like a soup/foam (who do you think you are kidding??) The bill was placed on our table at the one hour mark, while we were still eating and drinking, so we decided it would just be better to go elsewhere for the next drink. Strange. Overall, not terrible but definitely no reason to go back. Too bad!

As shown, the Mediterranean Beef kabob Was delicious. Light for the pool. the cucumber and beets were refreshing.

Stunning, Old Hollywood-style setting along the courtyard pool presented a promising ambiance upon arrival. Unfortunately the actual dining experience left much (everything) to be desired. Server was cold, robotic, indifferent. Pleasantries and skills of a finer dining experience completely absent. Plates snatched with haste and little more than an a brief acknowledgment of the task. The size of our party granted an auto-gratuity beyond what was appropriate. Food was beyond mediocre. The 10oz fillet was bizarrely presented cut in half and may easily have been confused for the product of an Applebee's. Unfortunately, the fast casual price tag did not accompany it. $62 for a steak that I would have sent back if it had been cooked incorrectly. To their (minimal) credit it was prepared medium-rare as requested, it was just a garbage cut of meat. Risotto was watery and under flavored. The truffle fries were good. Cocktails were fine if not also overpriced. Perhaps stop in quickly to grab a cocktail and snap a pic of the lovely setting before venturing to a better option. Applebee's included.

This place was terrible, made a reservation yesterday while I was in London for biz. Me and my girl waited for 20 minutes on a dirty table, zero service. No water, no one came to take our order. Walked out after 20 minutes. I asked the valet guy to call the manger, no one came. We drove away. The propriety looked super cool and would love to be a regular here, I just don't get it lol.
