Late night stop (@11PM); they serve up until close time (which we didn't take advantage of); it was great to know since there weren't many restaurants still serving food at the time (Friday night). Service was quick & efficient. Food was basic but very fresh & very good. The margarita flights were the icing on the cake.

Got this for lunch today pretty good! Flavorful for sure just wish they didn’t add black beans like requested but other than that tasty!! Street corn was good too.

We visited Condado in Detroit for tacos, and the food was fantastic. I ordered the 'Sweet Heat' and 'Baja Shrimp' tacos, both of which were absolutely delicious, and the Chorizo was phenomenal. The food arrived quickly, which was a nice bonus. The service was average, but the cool and vibrant atmosphere, along with the decent cleanliness of the place, made for an enjoyable experience overall.

It was a first time experience for my husband and I. We are not from the area. We are travelers from St. Louis, MO. The beverages and the food were brought out not long after ordering even though it was crowded. The food was hot, tasty, and filled us up rather quickly. Our waitress Shannon made the experience worth while. She was pleasant and had a beautiful bright bubbly spirit. Superb customer service adding fresh air to the atmosphere.

Google
The staff was great, I just wanted to quickly shout them out. We stopped for a quick meal and they clearly seemed understaffed. Regardless, our hostess and waiter were were both incredibly kind, quick and efficient with absolutely zero errors despite beginning to grow busier with tables. The waiter was David, I believe. Seriously, give my guy a raise because he's way too chill and hardworking. Super kind and always available right when you need him. The food was also great. It was a bit cold but the ingredients and presentation made me not mind as much. Having never been here and only knowing the name, I was greatly surprised by the quality meeting much higher than anticipated with how quick it was delivered. The place is an overall vibe for a quick, casual bite and a margarita or two with some company. 10/10.

Google
Perfect place to meet up with friends!!! The food was all great, service fast, waitstaff very nice, and there is easy parking on both sides of the street right outside. Highly recommend & I will be going back. We had the corn salsa and each tried a couple tacos.

Google
First time here and won't be the last! The food here was amazing! Tasty and fast! Drinks were incredible and our server Shana D was an absolute delight! I highly recommend Condado Tacos.

Google
First and foremost Mya (could be Mia) was a great server and bartender. Her drink suggestions were spot-on and delicious and she was personable and nice, the young lady who relieved her was not nearly as pleasant. Ordered nachos which were fresh and tasty but I did not care for the Buffalo sauce, it completely overpowered the dish. Also ordered a brisket taco which was incredibly bland and lackluster. The restaurant decor has a cool vibe with garage doors, which wasn't so cool in the winter, actually quite cold. Bathrooms were clean and staff was professional. Only major complaint was the unshoveled sidewalk. If you're a taco person you'll probably like this place, it was average to me. The only

Yelp
The local artist art work on the walls and menu is amazing and truly shows the new spirit of Detroit! The build it yourself bowls-tacos-nachos are amazing and all the toppings are seasoned perfectly, especially the shrimp!

Yelp
We found convenient streetside parking. This food was so good. We had multiple different chips and salsa dips and they were all really good. I really loved the giant tater tots and the corn. I also had some of the best tacos I've ever had here. The environment was bright and cherry. The service was friendly. Definitely will be coming back.

Yelp
This place def has a street taco / Tex mex vibe. We came in and were greeted and seated right away. They do have booth indoor and outside seating. They do have a full bar but I ordered a hibiscus margarita. It was really good wasn't too sweet. Their menu had 2 different sides. One side their selection of tacos, nachos, bowls and more. The other build your own. This is where it was at for me!! The nachos I built was on point!! This place doesn't play on the toppings!! These nachos were packed and soo tasty. I'm visiting but next time I'm in the area I gotta go. I have and will recommend this place.

Yelp
I got Condado Tacos as a pickup and was super excited to try it. I got a variety of different kinds of the tacos as well as queso and Mexican street corn. The tacos were pretty good as well as the queso, but it wasn't very flavorful. I didn't like the Mexican street corn, unfortunately because that's what I was most excited about. Not sure I would stop in here again to get food because I wasn't impressed, but I'm just glad I at least got to try it.

Yelp
This place is awesome. The service was friendly and attentive (though we somehow never got the tacos we ordered - they took care of it as soon as we realized.) The parking is street, but there was an available spot right outside the door. The decor is hip and inviting. The margs are fun and really like the fruit with the spice you can get. The street corn guac is delicious! The tacos we had were very flavorful and delicious. Can't wait to try more of the menu items - like tonight at the A2 location. ;) Definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
The Mr. and I stopped by Condado Tacos for a business lunch. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the nice views. I ordered three build-your-own firecracker tacos with brisket, red cabbage, tomatoes, and lime cilantro aioli. The tacos were fantastic! They had a great ratio of meat to everything else, were neatly packed, and incredibly fresh. The taco shells were fresh with a lovely heavy coating of firecracker seasoning, the brisket was juicy and fall-apart tender, and the cabbage and tomatoes were crisp. The aioli added a delicious touch as always! I had water while eating there, but I ordered a Coke with extra ice to-go. Our server, Deshawna, was so sweet, gracious, and attentive! She made the experience even better with her pleasant demeanor. I would definitely recommend Condado's! They have great food, affordable pricing, and they're allergy-friendly. Their menu clearly indicates items that contain milk, gluten, or are vegan. I love Condado's tacos!

Yelp
Great service! Great food! Great atmosphere! We had a group of 8. No problem for the hostess and wait staff!

Yelp
They are the BEST for catering, though a bit pricey. The boxes are really cute with their logo and colors and are super easy to set up. I love that. Their toppings are so fresh and delicious and the meats are well seasoned and never bland at all. Awesome homemade sauces and guac, freshly made chips and some of the BEST BROWNIES you will get anywhere. They are cinnamon chocolate, and even this crowd who doesn't usually go for sweets unless they're worth it knew what they were as soon as I took out the box. Get you one of those!

Yelp
I went here for national margarita day and got a flight but I kinda of left disappointed. I ordered a blood orange, prickly pear and pineapple margarita flight, expecting my margs to ACTUALLY be margaritas. I'm unsure if she thought I wasn't 21 or if the drinks just weren't that good but all my margaritas tasted like sour fruit juice. The flavors were good but the alcohol taste was missing. I didn't even get a buzz from drinking them, tasted like straight juice tbh. The nachos on the other hand was very big but they were good. I got full fast off the drinks so I barely touched the nachos but the few bites I had were delicious. Topped with a lot of stuff and I put the jalepenos on the side, which weren't even hot surprisingly. 7/10 (I prefer real Mexican food not American Mexican )

Yelp
Cool place. Well stacked bar. Taco sizes larger than the street tacos. I had three, I left the table full.

Yelp
I went to visit Detroit during the holidays and my friend wanted me to check out this taco place. It wasn't your traditional tacos but it easily a cute spot. Very spacious and colorfully. It looks like a great place during the summer months because of all the windows that can be opened and the very big patio. We got there during happy hour and I wanted to try one of their menu options and got the tacos. I started with the nachos and babbyyy they came out cold. I was kinda confused because I didn't know they were suppose to be hot or cold. lol but when I told the server she got right on it and brought me some fresh steaming hot nachos. 10/10. Very flavorful and big portion for the price. The tacos were equally as good. But sadly I had to take my tacos to go because the nachos were so filling. They all had a unique taste. I didn't get anything to drink because I had work but all their drinks looked great too.

Yelp
I've been to Condados a few times. I knew that I didn't like their food but I got invited out with some friends for lunch so I bit the bullet and gave them another chance. I got the build your own tacos. I got a chicken and a beef taco on flour tortillas. They lacked flavor, as usual. The tortillas were a little tough, they couldn't have been fresh. I got a margarita with a salt rim for the beverage. the house margarita was $9.50. That's pretty high to me. Especially for a drink that I barely even tasted the liquor in. It tasted like straight up sour mix and idk she put in it that made it fizzy like a soda.. I also don't like that I asked for sour cream and the bartender asked me how many I wanted so I got two to be on the safe side, only to get my bill and find out that sour cream was $1 a piece. I think imma just hang it up and accept the fact that I don't like Condados.

Yelp
A different decent take on taco/mexican dishes. The service was a bit slow today but probably due to staffing issues. Either way food was good.

Yelp
My husband and I needed some lunch while we were between doctor appointments, and we decided to give Condado a try. We sat quickly, and the service was great. I love all of the artwork on the walls and menus. The "choose your own adventure" style of food really speaks to me. I got nachos with so many toppings. It was amazing. Even before we finished our meal, we both said we'd be coming back.

Yelp
S/O to Madeline!!!!! She is awesome I came in with my family to enjoy my birthday. She have such a great personality & very sweet thank you for sharing my birthday with me! You rock

Yelp
Excellent service with our server, Destiny. She was fast and attentive. The prickly pear margaritas were delicious and the atmosphere was perfect for a quick evening bite. Thank you for the super fast service and the attentive care, Destiny! We'll be back soon!!!

Yelp
First stop after a red eye. Was a bit delirious, yet a few tasty tacos woke me dafuq up. Grabbed a modelo, some shrimp tacos, and a korean bbq taco. Each delicious taco was around $5, and they were quickly scarfed. Definitely helped to recenter. Service was attentive, and the inside has a chill vibe.
google avatar

Yelp
Everytime I go here it gets better and better but. Food On point. Service on point clean inside and out!
google avatar

Nick C.

Yelp
Went for dinner with some friends and unfortunately our server never came back after drinks. We ended up flagging someone else down and they took our order. The tacos were good and especially like the double deckers. Also started with nachos which the dips were good but the chips could be a bit better they were thicker and bland. The murals through out are pretty cool. Probably give them another try but unfortunately the service lacked this time.
google avatar

Christina H.

Yelp
If I could give negative stars I would. My chicken nachos were cold canned chicken with Tabasco sauce poured over it. The guacamole was grey and watery. So gross. They didn't take them off the bill. So incredibly. Gross
google avatar

Rachel P.

Yelp
Since I've discovered this place near my work about a month ago, I've eaten here a couple times. It is so delicious, the power bowl and one of the tacos I tried literally reset my taste buds. If you feel like you're eating the same things over and over, try this place. Some of the tacos are ok, but some hit the mark and then beyond. I got the mango guacamole both times and I highly recommend that as well. I can't speak of the ambiance because it's always been pickup for me, but I will mention prices are sort of high...as one can expect with city restaurants.
google avatar

David D.

Yelp
I'm glad Condado exists because clearly there is an audience that enjoys it and the place has stayed open through the demise of several of its next door neighbors. However...I've never had anything to eat here that I'm interested in having more of, plus the service leaves a lot to be desired- staff seem generally overwhelmed.
google avatar

Kim B.

Yelp
Terrible. My Tacos tasted as if they were filled with jalapeños. I couldn't taste the ground beef, tomatoes, or cheese. Wasted money and food. Disappointed
google avatar

Stephanie W.

Yelp
A small group of us decided to have a taco night. The location wasn't far from us so we dropped in. The interior was super cute and this place is good from groups. They have an extensive bar menu and the food selection is okay. This is a place good for pre or post activity drinks but would not be my go to for dinner. I found the food to lack seasoning and when I think of Mexican food I know that the food is packed with flavor and I'm going to do a food dance. I had a mocktail - cactus juice which was delicious. The rest of the party had a soda or cocktail. For those with cocktails they enjoyed them. Would definitely return for some drinks. The service team was sweet and attentive, they just have to step it up in the kitchen.

Yelp
Doris Approved. 4.7 Parking isn't the best for the street just fyi. not like mud or anything it's just hard to get spot if you go during prime hours.... I love it here every time I go, I leave happy and full. Our bartender was absolutely delightful. Food came out in a timely matter. True team effort as I dislike seeing the bartender leave the bar so I very much appreciate when the food it ready it's delivered rather than the bartender running around like a crazy person. Here's my trick, I want to share.... Anytime I go here I don't order all at once. I'll get an app, then order one taco, then order another taco and then maybe one more. I recommend you do this because the food isn't a joke and these are not "normal" tacos. Everything made with fresh ingredients. Nothing is done lightly (if you will here). Do not order with your eyes. Outdoor seating in the summer is very nice. I actually prefer it other than that I sit at the bar. Nice for a group, birthday or a work thing. It's an open space with a lot of room. Oh, and the bathrooms are clean. The food is great and you can get drinks (alcoholic) drinks to go- just wanna ensure that's noted. It's also close walking to other fun things just fyi. Enjoy!

Yelp
Well this is another place that I've been wanted to try. I guess I would say it was sort of a disappointment but the food wasn't bad per se. The customer service was excellent. But the fool was just okay and it's just really different. The drinks were not good at all the flight with the different margaritas was too sweet and tired at the same time and they all tasted alike. The menu is sort of confusing because you can just order different things different ways, but the food came out cold like everyone said that the reviews it will at least the tacos did. I think because of the toppings that you get on them. The refried brains was really different even though they had flavor they were watery they look really weird they were not like any other refried being said you would be used to. Overall I don't have to go back. But my daughter disagreed she said that she kind of liked it picking her own things like that. It's nowhere near like authentic but neither do they claim to be. But it was just really a different experience. But I guess this is one of these places you have to try for yourself.

Yelp
What the hell did I just eat! This food was horrible!! The meat of the tacos was bland, and the meat is supposed to be the main flavor. It seemed as if they tried to compensate with the slaws/sauces, but unfortunately, they were just bland cabbage slaws. There was zero authentic flavor (cumin, dried/fresh chile peppers, etc.). I should have known better when I saw the number of items with sweet in the description as this is not traditional flavors for tacos/ salsas. The only item that was good was the smoked cheese queso. Even the guacamole had a slight sweetness to it. Maybe I'm spoiled because I'm from Denver and the mexican food down there is amazing, but this place seemed to me like a couple of white guys decided to open a Mexican restaurant and serve taco shells from a box and jalapeños from a can instead of salsas.
google avatar

Ryan B.

Yelp
Terrible food and rude, slow service. Also saw a mouse run along the wall into the kitchen.
google avatar

Greg B.

Yelp
This place never disappoints, I enjoy the tacos here so much that this is the second location that I have been to. I've been to the one in Royal Oak and the one now in midtown, to compare the two the one in midtown is off the chain, the staff are amazing the bar is spacious, the food comes out so fast. And I have not yet had a bad taco! Definitely come in and give it a try plenty of parking in the area.
google avatar

Natasha P.

Yelp
Likes: We were seated quickly without a reservation. The cocktails were really good The food came fast The place had a cool vibe Dislikes: The tacos were cold They wasn't large amounts of meat in them but they were piled high with slaws and salsas They tacos were expensive for the quantity of meat in it. I don't plan to go back there voluntarily.
google avatar

Joyce T.

Yelp
My tacos were delicious! A bit spicy but I warmed up to the spiciness. Chips and dip were delicious also. Service was great! Soon as I walked in I was greeted! Shown a table food brought out right away. Ambiance was more than I was expecting. Very colorful considering all the drabness surrounding area!
google avatar

Yelp
Condado might be my new favorite place for Tacos and Tequila. The restaurant is adorned with graffiti-like artwork. It is kept clean and the staff is A1. The highlight of my visit was definitely the customer service. My beau and I sat at the bar, and the bartender did a wonderful job! She was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. We ordered the Mexican street corn, a chicken bowl, steak nachos, and drinks. Everything was delicious. The Mexican street corn was my fave! It was full of flavor. I got the 4oz but quickly regretted it, I should've opted for the bigger portion. The steak nachos were spicy, but the flavors were not lacking. The POM POM club packed a punch, and was delicious, this small drink will definitely have you tipsy and I highly recommend it (LOL!) Check out Condado for your next Taco Tuesday -- (or whatever day of the week). They advertised happy hour specials so I will definitely be back for that!

Yelp
So yummy in my tummy, come back if you want some of the good good. Service was super fast and they are really nice. :) Epic ambiance and environment, music is the jam and the displays are freaky deaky in a good way
google avatar

Phil M.

Yelp
3.5 stars. Food was good but not really amazing. Mexican Corn Dip was good but had a sweet flavor to it. I had a couple of tacos which were spicy and good. My wife had a salad with their chicken on it. Both good but that's about it. I would come back but it isn't anything I would crave. There are better similar restaurants in the area.

Deborah L.

Yelp
Good food, drinks and service. Nice variety of tacos and bowls. The ambiance is artsy and laid back.
google avatar

Maysa Z.

Yelp
Food was DELICIOUS. The nachos are a must try. And all of the tacos were so gooooood. Seriously everything was so good i can't want to come back

Marta K.

Yelp
good is very filling but the nachos chips were wet but the shrimp taco was amazing. I definitely recommend the margaritas
google avatar

Colleen W.

Yelp
Not my favorite tacos... fillings were too sweet, but then again, I'm a California girl. I have high standards for tacos. As a place to hangout, good vibes and decent happy hour deals. Nice ambiance and good service.
google avatar

Wendi K.

Yelp
Good drinks and fusion tacos/dips in a fun environment! I tried a trio of dips ($12 for 3 half dips) - I love how the chips are SUPER thick and crunchy and don't break in the dip :) The Queso is to die for! Guacamole was fresh and light tasting, pineapple salsa was nice too. The Korean Taco ($5) didn't *look* like much but boy was it a flavor bomb! Love the double shell concept too! It was a tad salty, which was fine for be because I love salt but for someone sensitive to salty foods it might be a bit much. The only thing I wasn't wow'd by were the bacon refried beans, they were a bit watery for my taste (I'm used to authentic refried beans made with lots of lard, lol!) but had a nice bacon flavor! Good margaritas (I had a Paloma) and the service is amazing! I didn't get her name but the woman helping us out was bright and cheery and so nice (even when I spilled my drink, oops!)
google avatar

Michael N.

Yelp
The service is fast and servers are informative. I really enjoyed building my own tacos, was a nice experience and they had alot to pick from. The mexican street corn wasn't what I thought it was but ended up still being good. The tacos were good but I felt the meat quality wasn't to my tastes. Chorizo was a little underwhelming and the steak was a bit dry for me. Their sauces were great tho and the quantity of the food was alot for the price. Definitely a good cheap eats!

Yelp
We ended up here kind of unintentionally. We had been looking for some brunch in Detroit and everywhere had over an hour wait. But a friend recommended this place and so off we all went. There is nearby parking, which is great, and the restaurant itself is easily accessible. The visual aesthetic was great inside - a really fun place to visit. And the staff was friendly, the service quick and reliable. The menu here boasts a wide variety of options and customization that can easily accommodate anyone's diet, from omnivores to vegans, making this a great place to gather so everyone can feel included. Plus, booze! We all tried different margaritas and everyone enjoyed what they had. I had a lemon flavored one that was great, and my partner had a pineapple that was great too. We ended up most of us building our own custom bowls. My partner and I are both veggies so we didn't try the meat but our friends seemed to really enjoy their meals. The portobello mushrooms were amazing! The same can be said of the chorizo and jackfruit. The chips and salsa were of course tasty too. We were pleasantly surprised by our experience here and openly encourage others to stop in, either for dining in or carrying out. I will gladly return.
google avatar

Lisa L.

Yelp
The food is good and fresh! I ordered a bowl & it was light and refreshing. A friend ordered the nachos, but said it was just okay. It was a great atmosphere & we'll return!

Betty V.

Yelp
Went once. Omg. Love it. Been once the young lady recommended this chicken taco. Unbelievable.
google avatar

Zak K.

Yelp
Parking was fine, it's just across the street from the restaurant. Plenty of it to go around. The actual restaurant has a fun vibe, very pop modern/bougee taco place vibes. Great aesthetics & atmosphere. My buddy got a beer on draft, and got it in a Mason jar...? Stick to Pint glasses, it's a $7 beer. I have a flour allergy so I made the waitress aware, I still recieved flour Tortillas, which would wreck me, so I asked that they be put in corn Tortillas & she obliged & apologized. The house tacos were inventive & fun ingredients, but were mid tasting. good portions though. Overall wasn't that impressed.
google avatar

Suzzette M.

Yelp
I love Condado. The way I explain it to friends who have never been is "taco bell on steroids in the best way possible"! LOL everything here is SO delicious. The tacos are always loaded with protein. The elote queso is delicious. We always find our way going back to build your own nachos.
google avatar

Karl L.

Yelp
I'm always willing to go back for the sweet heat and brazed and confused. Lots of flavor, very filling, and always fresh. Service is personal and they don't act like an America Mexican chain, even though... inside is colorful and rustic. Queso was a little bland and chips were a little stale, so one star off.
google avatar

Nisia M.

Yelp
Came last night after a wedding so I needed something good to absorb the alcohol and these tacos definitely hit the spot!!! I want to say that these were the best tacos I ever had. That's a serious compliment, I've had plenty of tacos! These tacos were flavorful and perfect. I chose a Power Plant taco with the vegans chorizo, so yummy but spicy. I ended up taking of my poblanos so I could finish the taco peacefully lol. I also tried the Plain Jane, nothing plain about that deliciousness. Loved the Kewl Ranch shell! I think that was my favorite taco of the two. Also tried the guacamole and I can definitely say it was the best guacamole I've ever had. I will say I don't eat a lot of guacamole but I've had some good ones and bad ones and this was my favorite!! My sister built her own tacos and they were packed!! My only complaint would be the price per taco but I'm also telling myself it might have been worth it. Wish I had pictures but I tore those tacos up in the parking lot.

Yelp
I loved this place. Midtown is my preferred Detroit neighborhood, but I am such a creature of habit that I rarely try new bars and restaurants in this area. The good reviews led us here, as I wanted to try something different on my birthday weekend. We sat at the bar and DuJuan took care of us. They have a great menu and you can customize depending on what you want. I tend to avoid tortillas, so I was excited to see a burrito bowl option on the menu. I ordered it just the way I wanted. Jacob ordered a few different tacos. We also got a couple shots and chips and salsa because TREAT YO SELF. Food was AMAZING. The meat? Perfect. The beans? Flavorful. The sauces? To die for. This burrito bowl was a great size and made for awesome sober-up leftovers at 2am back in my hotel room. Jacob loved his tacos, as well. They were packed with fresh ingredients and he loved that he could pick and choose a wide variety. I can't wait to go back to this restaurant. Great service, great food, great location. It really doesn't get better.
