Best Restaurants in Soho | Where to Eat in Soho | Eater London

"Fun, friendly and partly standy-uppy, in true tapas-bar style, Copita adventures far beyond patatas bravas. On the daily changing menu, you might find smoked anchovies with pork crackling; sweet potato with bravas sauce, alioli and peanuts; and crusted sweetbread with butterbean puree. The inviting all-Spanish wine list features sparkling Raventos and a dozen different sherries." - Adam Coghlan

Copita Review - Soho - London - The Infatuation

"You might think a tapas spot like Copita is best at night when you can let loose with a bottle of wine, a number of glasses of beer, or some sherry. You'd be right. But, stop being so unimaginative, it's great for lunch too. This place has a massive range of well made tapas, it’s all quite reasonably priced, and, regardless of whether you’re stopping in for just a couple of plates, or you plan to stay all day, its tiled interior and big wooden high-top tables, will make you feel like you’re a million miles away from the madness of Soho ." - Oliver Feldman

Best Sherry Bars in London for Fino, Oloroso, and Pedro Ximenez | Eater London

"In true Andalusian style, there’s just about room to stand or perch on a stool in Copita, so prop up the bar with a glass of La Panesa fino from Emilio Hidalgo. On average it’s under flor (the yeast crust that forms over sherry as it ferments) for 15 years before bottling, making for a complex, golden aperitif." - Johanna Derry

Visited for birthday celebration. The drinks and food are great! Especially the gin tonic with basil & rosemary, also the pork! We ordered a cheesecake and the staff smartly deliver it with a candle. Enjoyed a nice time there!

The food was amazing, the best olives I’ve ever had and the goats cheese was dreamy. The team were so friendly, they really made a fuss of me for my 30th birthday. I would definitely recommend!

Fantastic food and wonderful service. I was greeted quickly upon arrival and water was provided immediately (a nice touch as I always like some water before I have wine.) The person serving me was friendly, smiling and very knowledgeable, helping with both my food and wine choices. The bread and olives arrived very quickly and then the other dishes came out at a comfortable pace. Ox Cheek: incredible! Wonderful depth of flavour, I could happily eaten much more of this! Chicken: boneless which was nice as it saves messing with the bones. Nicely cooked, skin was well seasoned and flavoursome but the other chicken needed a little more flavour (but was still very good!) Bread and olives: lovely Beetroot: nicely presented with a lovely mix of textures with the nuts giving a nice crunch. Cheesecake: beautiful, and the sorbet went perfectly with the indulgent chocolate The only downside is how limited space is here, seated very close to other guests and although I was comfortable it was a little tighter on space than I prefer. Highly recommended as the food and service was fantastic. Thank you :)

I've been here twice, and every time I come, it's delicious and the service is also very good. Especially recommend the octopus, ox cheek, prawns, buns Last time I had apple pear & ice cream for dessert, miss it so much

The food was very delicious, and unlike other Spanish restaurants, it wasn’t too salty at all! The service was good, and the cocktail was tasty as well. The only downside, if I’m being picky, is that the chair was a bit difficult to sit on for a long time.

Sensational menu. special call out to the Ox cheek, Squid with the black rice, goats cheese with honey amongst the other dishes but no ask of allergies and there were peanuts in the bravas. Other than that, highly recommend a visit.

This is the best place I’ve eaten in London, hands down! Including much more expensive places. The flavors are rich, complex, and balanced. I highly recommend the blank ink rice (INCREDIBLE), chorizo iberico, and sweet potato bravas. I was initially disappointed they didn’t have normal patatas bravas, but they were so good! Plus, the service is warm, attentive and friendly (something most service in London is NOT). The space is also super cozy, and the atmosphere is bubbling with conversation but not too loud. They’re also great with gluten allergies - very attentive and many of their dishes are safe. This place is truly incredible - go if you’re at all able!

The food is nice but the place is a bit too noisy for my taste. Maybe it's better to go there with a group of friends instead of trying to have a romantic dinner.
