The 21 Best Restaurants In São Paulo 2024

"The first thing you'll notice about the wine bar-restaurant Cora is the view. The sixth-floor space overlooks the elevated Minhocão road, pedestrianized on the weekends, and offers a breathtaking picture of São Paulo’s skyscrapers and graffiti art. The food stands on its own, but if you time your reservation for sunset, an orange sky can only make it better. The dishes are playful interpretations of Brazilian classics—grilled duck hearts on a cauliflower purée, and crispy fried squid tentacles with spicy mayo. Pair these with some Brazilian wines, which are becoming more and more respected in the region." - tome morrissy swan

Cora

"Located in the heart of the city, in an unusual sixth-floor setting with views of the Minhocão, Cora is one of the most popular restaurants in São Paulo. The kitchen here is run by Argentinian chef Pablo Inca, whose aim is to “share experiences connected with the land for an urban experience”. The concise menu is designed for sharing and changes in line with the availability of the best market ingredients. Having said this, some dishes are permanent fixtures, such as the unmissable squid omelette, which highlights the chef’s roots, and the duck heart accompanied by a delicate roasted cauliflower and onion cream. Another amazing option is the “olhete” fish with caju, lemon and pepper, which is fresh and full of flavour. An excellent choice of wines and other drinks completes the picture." - Michelin Inspector

Just wow ! I did few restaurants when I was in Sao Paulo and Cora was just amazing! Douglas the mixologist is just a great human being that loves what he do. I was alone and he talked with me the whole time I was there. And his cocktails were well balanced. He recommend me a specific brand of Cachaca to buy and I bought it. Than you the whole team. The food is delicate, delicious and worth to go there !! I highly recommend !!

Made reservations two days prior with no problem. Great selection of natural wines, great desserts (I had all three), the best was the Alfajores. Not a great place to park a car, best to go by taxi. All plates are meant to be shared. I would suggest to do the lunch and then head to the all female author bookstore next door.

We were lucky to get a place at the terrace with low tables although we called very last minute for a reservation (15 mins before we arrived!). Great reception and service overall. Theo and Julia were very professional and friendly, which made a whole difference in our experience.. We had a Basil Smash (as one of the few drinks they could make without sugar) and Fitzgerald which were spot on. From the kitchen, we ordered the raw tuna, the calamari and the cauliflower which were very well executed, balanced plates full of flavor. We would definitely go back❤️

This was one of the best restaurants I have ever been to in SP. What a gem in the city center. The vibe is super cool and the food is divine. Creative flavors, beautiful presentation, perfect portions. Drinks were also very very good (I tried Cora Sour, and loved it). The service was smooth, fast and helpful. No pictures needed for this one. A gem.

Amazing food with a very cool vibe. Tried several different plates and couldn’t pick a favorite (although the squid tortilla and burrata with lentils, cauliflower, matambre…made the top 4). Perfect way to enjoy São Paulo’s iconic views and a fantastic atmosphere. Best gastronomic experience I’ve had in the city in a very long time.
