Extensive list of grower champagnes at retail prices - for me, this is reason enough to come to CorkBuzz, but it’s really just a great, laidback, unpretentious wine bar. For starters, their wine list is varied, interesting, peppered with the unusual, and with more than a few hidden gems. I think it appeals more to wine nerds than to oenophiles though. What excites you more on a wine list - verticals of Dom Perignon or a bottle of Marie-Nöelle Ledru? If you are the latter, then, CorkBuzz is probably a place you want to visit. Or you can be just a neophyte who wants to learn more about wine beyond the mainstream brands and varietals. One really fun thing to do at CorkBuzz is to try their wine flights that vary from the blind tasting (NZ sauvignon blanc, Argentinian torrontes, and Austrian grüner veltliner when we were there) to the sommelier’s choice (Austrian wines when we were there), to local wines and so on. It’s a relatively affordable (~$25) way to try a variety of wines from around the world. It’s always tough for me to decide between drinking a bottle of grower champagne and trying flights. The food menu is an eclectic mix of dishes that will pretty much go with a wide variety of wines. When I was there, they were running a special of the oddly named Mermaid Makeout oysters from the Peconic Bay on the half shell with mignonette sauce and cocktail sauce. They were small, briny and really refreshing after a day walking around hot and humid NYC. Their charcuterie plates are also pretty good, but just as a warning, don’t expect large portions as they use high-end cheeses and meats. For example, one of the cheeses on their cheese plate, Montgomery’s Cheddar, retails for $45 / lb at Murray’s Cheese. There are three choices for seating - the bar, high-top tables, or a communal table. Just as a warning, the high-tops are relatively small, so if you do the tastings and order food, you will probably run out of space and be uncomfortable. The decor is simple and classy with lots of light-colored wood. When we were there, the clientele sitting down were mostly groups of women or couples on dates, but the livelier bar area was crowded with all sorts of people. The staff is friendly and professional, but their respective knowledge of wine varies greatly from a person relatively new to the wine business to Master Sommelier (owner Laura Maniec), so it really runs the gamut. They have another outpost at the Chelsea Market, but I find that market to be an overcrowded tourist hellscape, so I’ve never been to the CorkBuzz in that location. This one is less touristy, but very close to Union Square, so it’s easily accessible from most places in Manhattan.

Great wine spot for an intimate atmosphere! The staff is very knowledgeable and provided us great recommendations. They have an extensive wine list from all around the world. If you don’t know what to drink, their wine tasting will do it. We also tried their burger which was delicious! I would definitely come back.

This is a great spot to try a diverse range of wines. The staff is knowledgeable about their menu offerings. They have wine flights, by the glass and bottles - so something for everyone! They have a happy hour menu - try the truffle popcorn, you won’t regret it! Drawbacks are that it’s a bit dark and doesn’t have a lot of windows or any outdoor seating.

A great wine bar inside Chelsea Market, very extensive wine list, skewed European, they have some very interesting orange wines. A perfect place to catchup with a friend or for a date. Casual vibe but with classy undertones. French fries were so so good, much better than expected in the wine bar. And burratta was very fresh and delicious. There is 4-6pm happy hour and wine tasting flights for good price. I want to try it next time.

I recommend this place for wine lovers. They have a good selection of wine. We especially enjoyed the wine tasting menu. The staff is knowledgeable about the wine and very friendly. All recommended wines were very high quality and pleasant to the taste. We like one wine Ancarani more than the rest. Will definitely come back)

Service was speedy, attentive, and genial. Their wine selections for flights was superb and the atmosphere was so comfortable and intimate yet casual with the high top table experience. Will definitely return again and again.

Corkbuzz is one of my favorite places to go to for a good time. The team there is unbelievable with unparalleled attention to detail. They have an exquisite wine list with a rotating menu of cocktails and food. Their food is very high quality and I cannot recommend this place enough.

Great BTG list. Nice champagne list. Unsure whether they still have retail price champagne promotion. Decent food. Don’t order any fish crudo, as the one I had a few months ago wasn’t fresh. The food I ordered 2 weeks ago (beef tartare, salads etc) were good. The staffs are knowledgeable and friendly.

Amazing place to order a bottle of champagne or wine-- prices are super reasonable and the vibe is immaculate. Service was super great too-- the sommelier was super helpful in helping us choose our champagne and wine! Will be back to try their food menus too!

This is an overdue review. I loved my experience here! A friend of mine recommended as he frequents often. You are allowed to bring your own bottle of wine and they will open and serve for you. You just have to make a purchase. We were able to purchase a bottle of champagne. Their champagne prices are very reasonable. Food: hamachi crudo was delicious. Grilled leaks were served with a romesco auce. I recommend trying. Wagyu burger are so juicy and good. I would ask them to burn the fries because they were so underwhelming and soggy. Great music and very knowledgeable staff. They are able to guide you on wine and food choices. I also noticed a wine tasting offering in the back. Great place to visit.

We were looking for a bar to close the night off after dinner and people recommended in this place We decided to get the Japanese nights cocktail, a montepliciano rose , fries and the house ricotta. The bar tender is probably as good and professional as they come - he recommended to go with this cocktail , and this was just an incredible choice . It was One of the best I've had . The Italian rose was also very good . The house made ricotta was very good but we prefer a less -smooth texture . The house cut fries were yummy and felt like they were cut by hand The decor and atmosphere was great , and the bartender was , again, just fantastic Recommended !

A decent place to happy hour near Union Square. It's a beautiful space with a large dining room past a vibrant bar area... excellent for groups. Our server handled our group of 6 like a pro and the overall festive vibe of the place is happy-making. The happy hour wine options weren't really my thing (I believe these change regularly) and if I were to order a second glass I would have just ordered off the regular menu because the red was too bold for my liking (since that's a personal preference, I in no way blame this on the restaurant). I didn't see any decent vegan options on the food menu (other than olives and french fries with ketchup) so I'm not sure if this is a place I'd return, especially if I wanted to eat anything while drinking. My group really enjoyed our time together and I'll mention again how I loved the atmosphere and overall vibe of Corkbuzz.

I love a good wine bar. The dim lit rooms, the walls lined with wine bottles from various regions, and a decent small bites menu that will hold you over til your dinner plans. That's what Corkbuzz was giving to us on a Thursday night. I was with a small group, and we were seated on one side of a long banquet table that is situated just past the main bar. On the other side of the table, another small group but there was enough room at the table to not be disturbed by each other's party. We wanted to nosh on something so we ordered the house made ricotta and boy was it yummy. We couldn't stop eating that bread. Happy hour was in effect so I grab one of their specialty cocktails. I forget the name (I believe it had the word antidote in the name), but it was bourbon based and made quite well. Leave it to me to come to a wine bar and get bourbon. The staff was great, keeping us posted on when happy hour ended. The vibe was chill and the company was nice. A great spot to catch up with friends. Maybe next time we will stay for dinner.

A sneaky great spot for happy hour. I met my group of 6 here around 4:30 for some cocktails and it was the perfect mix of not too loud, cool and laid back vibes, great drinks, and little bites. I stuck to wine ($10 during happy hour wooop wooop) and our groups shared a few helpings of the little ricotta bites. Delish and tasty lil ricotts, good wine, great space. Go sit at the bar, get a table like we did, whatever you do should turn out well. If I find myself in the area again looking to grab a drink, this is where I am going.

Attended one of Laura's wine dinners last night. Haven't been here in a while and so nice to see how well the restaurant/bar has bounced back since pre Covid. Nice vibe, great music, it's a nice sized bar with decent seating areas where you can find a place for your party without feeling squished in. The dinner was great and Laura is always a wonderful host, making wine education and experience approachable and enjoyable. Really pleased with the food and wine pairings and was excited to learn that she plans to add many of the dishes to her next menu. A fun place for wine lovers of all levels and you never know what special treat Laura will pull from her cellar because she feels like you need to have a taste. All the staff are very into the wine experience but if you can snag an event hosted by Laura herself you are in for a treat.

Went here on a Thursday night for a girls catch-up and really enjoyed it! They have some interesting and reasonably priced flights ($20-30). I tried the Eastern European flight - didn't love all the wines but it was fun and different. My friend had the Chardonnay flight and loved it, and the popcorn is a great snack. The vibe is nice because they play fun music and the energy is high, but you can still have a conversation and relax. The servers were very nice and fast.

This place was a ton of fun!! Headline of my review: the place is a bit overpriced overall in general, but the blind wine tasting was so much fun and worth it, but will skip the meal next time. I came here with my girlfriend and another couple from out of town and the restaurant interior definitely impressed. The interior was very trendy, busy, but we still felt like we were able to maintain a level of intimacy between the four of us and didn't need to shout to hear ourselves. The wait staff was nice - very attentive, but certainly let us take our time which was really appreciated, especially seeing how busy they were. We took longer than the average party to figure out what we wanted and they were very gracious about it. We got the 3 blind wine pick, which was super fun! Basically, they will pour your 3 glasses of wine and you have no idea what you're getting. They'll then give you a tasting sheet where you can write down your thoughts on visuals, bouquet, taste, and ultimately guess what type of wine it is between vintage, locale, and varietal. Our group had so much fun comparing answers and discussing. They give you a little cheat sheet if you don't know much about wine, which is nice! At the end you can see how you did. The wines were all decent - we were worried this was an elaborate scheme for them to get rid of their bad wines. They were all French, Italian, or Californian wines from 2018-2020. Later on, we ordered food. I will say, the portions were quite small for the price of the dishes. I ended up getting the chicken thighs and grits, which were quite tasty but I was still hungry afterwards. The three others in the party got the cacio e Pepe, which certainly looked good, but was an even smaller portion. All in all, I will definitely be back, but just for drinks.

Had a work event here and it was great. Staff was accomodating. From beginning to end they were making sure everyone had a bite or drink in hand. The venue fit about 100 of us being that it was more of a cocktail style event with small bites. The drinks especially the voy a mi casa were tasty. I had that one with me all night. The wine was served chill, which I enjoy. They had a expansive list. There was a drink I tried that I wasn't a fan of but that's just cause I'm not a Mezcal girl. The drink names were listed but not what they were made of. Not the restaurants fault. The bites were good as well. There was a lentil and cucumber that was great. There was a delicious crostini and the best part was this chicken bite that was flavorful. It was a hit all night. They also had a salmon bite that I did not try. All in all even with a few tech hiccups with the microphone and sound we had a great time. Would definitely have another event there.

Corkbuzz was a really disappointing experience. I went for my birthday with some friends and the service was pretty bad - leaving random bottles at our tables, spilling wine with our pours, etc. Things that you expect to be done at a more pricey wine bar! We got the sommelier's pick flight which was 2 sweet dessert whites and a very light red. I can't help but imagine they chose these because we were three young women. It felt like they just found the cheapest, sweetest wines to give us. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and the lighting mixed with the music made the feel overall very romantic. I can see it being a great date spot. The food was portioned quite poorly (their "medium" size is definitely more like a small) and my three tiny blocks of cheese were $30. So crazy! They didn't bring a sharp knife for the charcuterie board which was very confusing because there were hard cheeses there that you simply cannot cut using a butter knife. We were expected to use the fork and knife given for our meal also in the jam and honey. To me, this lack of attention to detail really can disrupt the dining experience. Overall a disappointing experience, I wouldn't plan to go back. Not sure if the experience is different for people who might appear more 'mature' but it was not made special for us at all.

LOVE Corkbuzz. Have come several times now and it's my favorite wine bar in the city - the wine flights are well-selected and change frequently, staff is unfailingly friendly and unpretentious, and the food's actually pretty good too. Super accessible location right off Union Square to boot. My favorite time to come is on Monday evenings when you basically have the whole space to yourself and just a few others!

While looking for a cute happy hour spot, one of my friends said "Why not wine?!" and so we found ourselves here at Corkbuzz. Loves: + They've got several wine flights including blind ones which are always fun (Note: You will get a slip with the answers) + Cute for a date night or catch up with friends, or to host an event in the back spaces of the restaurant + Friendly staff While they've got a food menu, it's not extensive. I'd certainly come back again for some wine though and maybe even get the blind flight next visit.

Though it's in the middle of the tourist frenzied Chelsea Market, this is one of my goto spots to meet a friend for a quick drink. If you are able to grab a table in the inside section, you'll be away from all the noise. They have a good wine selection and plenty of options by glass. Great spot to come grab a drink before/after getting a bite at the innumerable dining options in the market

Was there for a friend's bridal shower. Space was lovely and a great size for a small group, and the food was absolutely delicious! I don't drink alcohol, so I can't say whether the selection was exceptional, but others around me seemed to be enjoying their glasses, and we did get a great intro to the different bottles that were served, which I found very interesting. The staff were also very friendly and attentive. I would go back just for the food.

Went here for an early drink with a couple coworkers on a Thursday. The atmosphere is lovely and classy and quiet enough to chat, and they were able to seat us 15 minutes before our reservation as we had arrived early. We had a cheese board, which was delicious, and drinks. I had a zero-proof cocktail that was delicious, if a bit overpriced for something without alcohol (it tasted similarly to apple cider). They also offered extra bread but didn't inform us of the additional charge ($3.50) until we got the receipt. That said, it was all in all a really enjoyable experience.

Came in during happy hour after a long day of walking. The happy hour $1.50 oyster is a deal! Also did the three blind wine tasting and it was so much fun. Will definitely come here again !

Recommend highly! Our school had an alumni holiday reception in early December. The food was delicious and the wine was superb. It has such an inviting atmosphere and ambiance, and a convenient location, too. Sarah, our host, and Vincent, our server, went above and beyond all night long to give us special attention and outstanding service. Our guests were so happy. Their prices are extremely reasonable. We will definitely come back and book our next event here. What a great night! (p.s. - I stayed afterwards to have dinner with a friend. That was outstanding, too!)

Such a terrific experience. We did a blind tasting of both whites and reds on a Saturday evening and had so much fun. We followed this with dinner-- Cacio e Pepe pasta and a charcuterie plate. Our waiter/sommelier was really helpful with the blind tasting and with recommendations to pair with our food afterwards. Cannot recommend enough

You must go! People are fabulous and the burger is the go to move! Excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere!

Two stars for one thing they did which I consider ethically bad when one visit a new place. Which is, after ordering one drink, the bill was given to us within like 20 minutes. I think this is extremely rude and they wanted us to leave the place, felt unwelcome. Mind you, I am not the type of Yelper to make negative reviews. I don't know if this is the way this place does business, but I rather the other bars and restaurants that would charge right away when serving a drink than to be given a bill without asking when in fact, we didn't know if we were going to have more drinks. I felt extremely unwelcome here. With that said, the waitress was nice an pleasant, I just didn't understand why the bill was given to us so soon, and they came up to the table 3 times to ask if we were ready to pay. Closing time was 11 PM.

Stopped by Corkbuzz to catch up with a friend over a few glasses of wine. We did not have a reservation (and they were essentially at full capacity) but the host found us 2 seats at the bar. They offered several wine flights around $20 - I tired the blind tasting of red's and my friend tried the whites. We got some fries to snack on and the included sauce was delicious! When the bill came out there also some info about the wine classes they offered.

Came here on a company event and the food was absolutely phenomenal. I know it's a wine place, but I definitely enjoyed the food more than the wine. They do have a good selection of wines and we had a sommelier teaching us a thing or two about different wines.

Fantastic ambiance, space, and wine list! Dimly lit, quiet but not too quiet, and a very welcoming space. Pours were quite generous too! We had the Blind Tasting set and I expected way less for their price. Fun sheet for your tasting notes for those interested. Would come again!

Beautiful place! There are lots of organic wine options. I love coming here for a drink and sitting at the long tables in back. It can get pretty busy. They have snack food options as well as dinner.

This adorable wine bar features dim lighting, a long bar, high top tables and a few semi-private tables for private parties or wine tasting classes. A friend and I stopped by recently to catch up over wine. I ordered the Sommelier Mixtape, which consisted of a flight of three red wines from Portugal, Italy, and Spain that were specially selected by the sommelier. The sommelier gave me a thorough overview of each wine and I enjoyed having this knowledge as I tasted each wine. I enjoyed all three wines especially the 2012 Pardusco Prvt. Escolha Red (Vinho Verde), an elegant red wine from Portugal that was aged for four years. It was delicious, smooth, with a ruby color and aromas of red berries. My friend ordered a blind tasting flight of white wines which was accompanied by a tasting grid to help her guess the wines. Her server basically presented the wines and grid and left my friend to her own devices. My friend and I noshed on the complimentary charcuterie while we chatted. We were tempted to order some of the delicious-sounding items in the menu, but we were short on time and could only stay for appetizers. We liked the sophisticated and laid back vibe in the restaurant. Servers were professional, but maintained an appropriate distance to avoid being overbearing. I love classy places where I can enjoy a quality glass of wine and a good tasting experience and Corkbuzz delivered on that. I can't wait to stop by again to enjoy more wine and order a few dishes from the menu.

We boldly went with the Three Blind Wines, which is a blind taste of 3 reds or 3 whites (your pick). We were told this is what sommeliers get and they fill out a sheet identifying the wine based on its color, density, smell, taste, aura, spirit animal etc. OK, maybe not the latter two, but you get the idea. This sheet was massive, and I'm pretty proud to say we almost went the whole nine yards. In the end, the answers they revealed didn't really tell us if we identified the different attributes correctly -- they just told us the region and type of grape. (That's a cautionary tale for anyone embarking on the blind taste test expecting to get answers to everything.) Besides the wine, food here was excellent. We didn't dine but shared a couple of apps. The housemade ricotta is delicious -- I highly recommend it. The fries were also very good (came with a generous amount of truffle oil), but the ricotta was on a whole different playing field. Apparently they are also known for their champagne selection. And I'm told that champagnes are half off at some point in the night. Guess that's one more reason to come back.

A fun place if you're feeling wine-adventurous. The flights seem to be the better deal out of everything on the menu. I had the local flight and all three wines were very pleasing. The French fries also complimented our wine well. The place has a great ambiance, good for a date or a meetup with friends. The service is also superb, with everyone on staff very friendly and attentive.

The bar has a nice assortment of wines, and if you're not sure, you can let your waiter know what you like. (Ryan B and Vincent were our waiters, and they both were super-knowledgeable, super friendly, and super tolerant of our silliness). Your waiter will suggest something and bring you a taste. If you don't like it, he'll adjust the next taste making it drier, sweeter, more full bodied and a host of other things I didn't quite understand. In any case, they'll find you a good one. And if you get the meat and cheese plate, just ask for more bread when you need it. They'll keep bringing it until everything on the plate is gone. Yeah, it is pricey, but not ridiculous... and this is New York... ridiculous enough in itself.

Service was excellent!!The wine flight was fun, we bought a bottle we tasted!! The homemade ricotta is not to be missed, it's delicious! Very disappointed in the cheese platter, for a wine restaurant with a full page on cheese selections this should be the restaurants star of the food menu.

We recently had my daughter's bridal shower at Corkbuzz and it was fabulous. Staff was wonderful and the plated lunch was delicious with nice offerings to choose from. It's such a great place to have a private party. The space is perfect for a group of 40 or so if you're looking for a sit down luncheon. We even had a small group of men in the front of the restaurant for a separate lunch space and they had a great time also! The vibe and decor is great too. Always had very good communication during the planning as well. We were allowed to bring in our own decorations to personalize the shower and it turned out perfect. Everyone had a fun day celebrating. Also a great place to go for wine tasting with some appetizers. We had done that as well before booking for the shower and will be going back soon. Don't hesitate to go to Corkbuzz! Great experience!!!

There's a weekly rotation of "Three Blind Wines" -- three whites or three reds. These are not easy to guess, but such a fun challenge. A great way to try new wines without any bias on varietals or regions.

Was invited to a wine tasting here by a friend and her family and we all had a really great time! I wasn't involved with the booking process, but I do know they struggled to book the class because of very limited availability. Apparently what in the end happened was that they called to complain and another table was added to the tasting session, which opened up more room. The tasting itself was really well done - numbered glasses so you could follow along and paired cheeses to eat with the wine. The pairings were all explained really well, as were specifics about each cheese and each wine. I felt that the woman who ran the tasting was extremely well-informed and friendly. The wines that we tried were great, as were the cheeses! There was also bread served that was delicious. The one thing that we all felt was a problem was the noise level. The area where we did the tasting was blocked off from the rest of the restaurant, but wasn't in a separate room, so for most of the tasting we struggled to hear the woman's explanations of what we were drinking, which was a bummer because she really seemed to know a lot. We were able to chat with her after and got some of the info we missed out on, but it was pretty frustrating to not be able to hear what she was saying as we were tasting it. The noise was definitely coming from the restaurant itself, as there was very limited chatter during the tasting as people were really focusing on trying to make out what was being said. That being said, the place was SUPER crowded for a Monday night, so I'd definitely go back because it seems like it's a popular spot! Would definitely not recommend the wine tasting to anyone with hearing issues because it definitely did affect our experience and we were sitting relatively closeby.

I was here last year for a private event with my company and I loved this place. The decor was very elegant, the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. There were several different wines available with many different options of cheese and fruit to compliment them. I would love to come back here with my friends.

Love this wine bar! The staff here is amazing and very knowledgeable. However, I do with that they have more display of offerings in the store. I had looked at the website prior to coming here so I was aware of all their happy hour specials and blind tasting offerings, which is what I think is what makes them special. However, in the store, there was no advertisement for these specials. Aside from that, the wine here is great at a good price. The food also pairs very well. My favorite is the buratta. The bread is perfectly toasted.

This place is amazing.. Lore, Bobby, Dorian you three rock and made my New Years Eve amazing. I came alone to Corkbuzz today after a long day at work and the service was impeccable my glass remained full the whole time. Now my shoutout goes to Amber she sold me a bottle of champagne "Les Revenants" Etienne Calsac and I must say.. all the grapes in this wine makes me want to go to France tomorrow. But her knowledge and recommendations really made my experience truly amazing. I also had the Deviled Eggs.. to balance my buzz lol #YouRockCorkBuzz

I was extremely excited to try Corkbuzz during our visit to NYC. Unfortunately, my excitement stopped once we entered the door. The service completely ruined our experience. Both my guest and I are quite knowledgeable about wine and were planning to do their happy hour blind tasting. However, the servers were cold and unwelcoming. They took our menus immediately and rushed us through ordering with no guidance on the menu or suggestions. I quickly got the feeling that no one wanted us to be there. Once we got our wines, they never spoke to us again. After we finished, they rushed over to ask what we were having next. The whole experience was unpleasant and uncomfortable. With that being said, the wines were outstanding, the appetizers were also quite nice. However, based on the service alone, I won't be recommending this spot.

I recently passed my sommelier exam so was really excited to try this place out. I was pretty disappointed when, right out of the gate, the awesome and unique blind tasting wasn't even brought up and it's not on a menu. I had to ask about it. It really should be highlighted. The blind tasting was indeed an awesome and fun experience. The wine selection is pretty nice and our server was super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable - hence the 3 stars. The thing about wine though - it pairs with food. Good food is just as important as the wine. The food here is not good. Our meals were so full of salt we could taste nothing else. It's hard to find a good wine bar, even in NYC. It's even harder to find a good wine bar WITH good food. The search continues . . . . . . . . .

Another hidden gem discovery that will be my usual wine bar! This place has a beautiful and chic interior with a very good collection of wine and food! We got a bottle of a Tuscan wine (forgetting the name). For apps we got the amazing burrata served with roasted pears, apples and buttered charred buttered bread (the bread had walnuts in them which were so good!); Housemade ricotta served with charred bread (the ricotta was so fresh! A must order!) and a side of warm olives mixed with gorgonzola, rosemary, thyme and garlic (amazing again) Highly recommend!

Came here for a drink at the bar and had a great time. I'm far from a wine expert but my friend who's an enthusiast remarked that their wine list was impressively extensive. Our bartender was very knowledgeable and helped me picked out an orange wine that had a very distinct taste that I enjoyed. Service was friendly and professional. The bar seats were comfy and had a back. There are intimate two-seaters along the wall. A lot more space in the back past the par which is great for large groups. Overall, classy and romantic ambiance - great for dates!

I've never been so impressed with a restaurant staff. We enjoyed their food. It was delicious. On top of that, some of us couldn't make it home. Do you know what corkbuzz staff did? They helped us order Ubers when we needed them. On top of a delicious meal, we got staff that helped us safely get home. That is service you cannot top. I am thoroughly impressed. -E

Came here with a few gfs. Nice ambiance inside, amazing selection of bottles of wines (champagne and sparkling alone made up almost 2 pages). We asked the staff for help with a dry champagne. Unfortunately the first selection was on the sweeter side and we had to send it back. The second option was delicious. We also tried the ricotta, bok choy, olives, and cheese platter. Food was wonderful. The only thing I have a quip about was the service. While it was nice to not feel rushed and have space to chat, it was also hard to get the attention and service. We almost waited 30-40 min before ordering our wine and then probably another 15 trying to flag someone down for the check. Overall nice wine and food.

This was quite an experience! We had a wine tasting in the spacious area at the end of the restaurant adjacent to the wine cellar... The objective was to taste some old and some new world wines side by side (whites and reds). We also had several plates of appetizers to accompany the tasting. Overall it was a superb experience. The staff were so very accommodating and really made us feel very much at home. We were served wine by several staff members and the sommelier was great at explain the wines and the nuances and differences between old and new world. The bites were also superb and consisted of several cheeses, breads, crackers and prosciutto etc. Very nicely loaded platters which worked very well with the wines and were thoroughly enjoyed. Will be back for dinner and more wines!

First of all, my party came here on a very busy Thursday night. Our original reservation was only a party of three but last minute we had another person come. The staff was super accommodating. They rearranged our original table for three to fit four. It was very nice of them to accommodate our last minute change. We tried the happy hour blind wine tasting which was very fun. They give you a choice of three reds or three whites and a tasting grid so you can blind taste wines like professionals. Lots of fun especially with a group. For the food, I had the hanger steak. The hanger steak was delicious. Super beefy flavor, seasoned very adequately and served with a delicious tomato purée. We also tried the scallops and the homemade ricotta. The scallops were served ceviche style so the flavor was very potent but balance with the citrus sauce it was served with. The ricotta served with toast was excellent and apparently freshly made everyday in house. For dessert, we again the strawberry rhubarb cake and the chocolate pudding. Again, super potent flavors. Too sweet for me but my friends enjoyed them very much. Overall, definitely a must visit if you are into wine. The flights on the menu are excellent and the wine list is extensive. I'll definitely be coming back.

I came here with a friend after work for happy hour. It was delicious, fun & the absolute perfect vibe. I highly recommend it! We did the blind taste testing -- three huge tastings of wine (almost full glasses) for $15. The deal ends at 6 pm. I did the white tasting and my friend did the red. I liked mine (would've been happier if there was a Pinot or Sauv Blanc in the mix), but she absolutely loved her. The wait staff was awesome and super friendly. The sommelier gave us a sheet and walked us through characteristics to look for in the wine. After the tasting, the waitress let us try samples before ordering a whole glass. They recommended the chef meat & cheese board. You get tons of food for $42. We were SO impressed with the homemade ricotta and the soppresata. We went on a Thursday PM. It got crowded, but not overwhelmingly or overbearing so. Overall, such a fun, different & delicious way to spend a happy hour! I really can't wait to come back and try one of their classes. :)

Great wine selection. Conveniently located near USQ. Service is attentive. Never crowded, but not dead either to make you feel like the staff can hear everything you're saying. The space is open and comfortable. Intimate high top tables. Comfortable seating at the bar. Place is well kept and clean. I haven't gotten cocktails from them yet, but the ones I've seen made in front of me are beautiful. Albeit the prices are a bit steep, but well worth it for some quality wine instead of that cheap bottle you could buy at the store and now paying 4x for. Will definitely come back again!

Fantastic wine bar! Great wine selection, good food menu and relaxed atmosphere. This wine bar is fairly popular so without a reservation you'll likely need to stick to the bar or have a seat at one of the communal tables. In any case, you'll be sure to have a good time and enjoy your drink.
