The Best Outdoor Bars & Places To Drink In Nashville - Nashville - The Infatuation

"Nashville’s most under-the-radar outdoor spot is Corsair Distillery & Taproom’s secluded courtyard in Marathon Village. The former factory’s brick walls enclose the space, keeping it quiet even when the taproom is overloaded with out-of-towners. They stock 16 local beers on draft, and their cocktail menu is impressive even for a distillery, featuring crushable, patio-friendly pineapple daiquiris and their Pink Drink, both of which showcase the many spirits they distill off-site. Not only is this a good retreat for a Saturday afternoon, it’s also our favorite spot to pregame a concert at Marathon Music Works." - adam sloan

Stopped by on a Sunday to check out a few stores and try Corsair’s whiskeys as part of the TN Whiskey Trail. I sat at the bar and had a pepperoni pizza (kind of sparse on the pepperonis for $2 more than a regular cheese pizza, but it was delicious), old fashioned (heavy on the orange), and sampled the rye and single malt. Neither were my taste unfortunately. Service was fine, atmosphere was nice.

Google
We had a great time tasting the lineup and their cocktails are incredible (and well priced!). We were super impressed with incredible service from Mitch and India. As we got to talking they made Great recommendations to suit our pallets and for places to check out while we are in town. Great hangout spot!

Google
Got a tasting with Jo that was amazing, she knew everything about the distilling process and was super informative. Then had cocktails at the bar with India, she was very knowledgeable about the cocktails and what I might like. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended! Easily the best distillery I visited in Nashville.

Google
Clean location. Fun and friendly staff. Great tasting the flavors. Part of the bourbon TN train. No issues with parking. No pressure in buying anything. I love the location and recommend anyone to go to Corsair Distillery. Great location to see so many different locations.

Google
Do the tour if you can! India our guide was fantastic. Tour with a tasting at the end. I swear the apple Brady tried to un-alive me..lol they were a great I liked both whiskeys and the american gin. The triple is fabulous for those who really enjoy that Skokie taste. The second room has beer on tap and cocktails too. Pizzas if you need a bit to eat. . The atmosphere, all of the employees and staff are so fun and polite. What a unique place

Google
An Absolutely Excellent Experience at Corsair Distillery & Taproom! My visit to Corsair Distillery & Taproom was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment I stepped in, I was struck by the welcoming atmosphere and the genuine enthusiasm of the staff. It's clear that everyone here is passionate about what they do, and it truly enhances the overall experience. Of course, the stars of the show are undoubtedly the spirits, and Corsair delivers in spades. Their selection is incredibly diverse, showcasing a remarkable range of well-crafted and unique libations. Whether you're a whiskey aficionado, a gin lover, or someone looking to explore new and interesting flavors, you'll find something to delight your palate. Each spirit I sampled was distinctive and clearly made with an incredible attention to detail and quality ingredients. Beyond the delicious drinks, the taproom itself is a comfortable and inviting space, perfect for enjoying a tasting, a cocktail, or simply soaking in the ambiance. The team was incredibly knowledgeable, offering insightful descriptions of their spirits and patiently answering all my questions. They made the entire experience educational and enjoyable. Corsair Distillery & Taproom isn't just a place to grab a drink; it's a destination where you can learn about the art of distillation, savor exceptional spirits, and connect with genuinely friendly people. I left feeling impressed, inspired, and with a few bottles to enjoy at home! I highly recommend a visit and the building itself is like a museum – you won't be disappointed!

Google
A must-see distillery in Nashville! The tour was great and shout out to Carter for providing a laid back and enlightening tasting. I enjoyed our visit so much and even bought a bottle of the gin to take back home! I never drink gin but this one was life changing. The variety of liquors is impressive and the attention to detail for each one really shows. The area too is worth a trip. It’s located in a historical building with lots of other shops and really cool foundry equipment. This was definitely a highlight for our trip to Nashville!

Yelp
What an amazing atmosphere for a modern distillery! The tour and tasting at Corsair were a lot of fun, and our guide was very thorough, knowledgeable, and friendly. We started with a tour of their actual distilling area, highlighted by a 100-plus-year-old still they were able to buy and bring from Canada. The process of distilling was further explained, and the tour ended with a tasting of 5 different products, including gin and rum, along with whiskey. It was a great time, and I recommend it!

Yelp
First of all, BEST tour I have been through. These guys are legit! Natural ingredients. No cutting corners. Excellent knowledge. Ask for Carter. This guy is so down to earth and friendly, knowledgeable and just a great human. We stopped at the bar and had some of the special cocktails: Vesta, Garden Party, Fire and water melon and Calypso Wrath... awesome! This is a must stop and no BS. Good people, friendly and good food (pizza). Last thing. PB& beerJ Awesome!!! Ask for Medina. Awesome bartender.
google avatar

Yelp
Went for a tour - what an epic historic building with a bunch of cool shops! The tour itself is not really a tour- they walk you into a room with some brew making equipment and explain the process, then you head into the tasting room and try them. We got to try 8 different types ! They were all amazing . I loved the Absinthe the most. Our guide was great and funny, but I was hoping for a longer tour with more to see. I loved their product though with the homemade mash

Yelp
We stopped in here in a recommendation and had a few drinks before a trolley tour. Lots of great local craft beer options in addition to cocktails with house made liquors! I got to sample some whiskey before buying a bottle to take home, and the bartenders were all very nice. It's in a cool old automobile factory, so there's such cool old equipment every where! They closed at 7pm, so we did they to stay long, but it was great.
google avatar

Denise B.

Yelp
Chill atmosphere, nice staff. I liked the bar and people. Nice break from the hustle and bustle. Had a drink at a local downtown bar and had to find the local distillery.
google avatar

Dave R.

Yelp
Absolutely great tasting set up and wide variety of liquors. Son and I came for one thing and walked with much more. Absolutely delish triple smoke!! Please come and enjoy this fabulous distillery with a great tasting..please know they have a bar and food in the back...did not try but the area looked impressive nonetheless..

Yelp
We were shopping around in this super cool building and a couple of us decided to do a tasting. We had already done one around the corner so we were ready to go. This one is paid vs free, but definitely worth it as you're getting a great product. It was a slow day so we were the only ones doing a tasting and there were some folks dining and having drinks in the next room. We went with a variety of whiskeys instead of mixing in the gin and something else... the Rye was my favorite. The bartender was great about explaining the tasting notes on each one and it was nice to learn a little bit about the distillery. I have had Corsair before, but didn't know much about it. I would like to have more time to come and check out the bar and grab a pizza next time.

Yelp
Fantastic little distillery! Everyone was so friendly! Our tour guide, Carter, was fantastic! Every liquor we tasted was excellent & I happily brought home two bottles to enjoy! I would highly recommend visiting!

Yelp
Place is kind of hard to find, but lots of interesting things to discover and look at in the building while searching for this place. We couldn't stay too long as me and my buddies had to go eat lunch, but they opted for the tasting (I think it was around $11.00) and I just got an old fashioned from the bar in the next room. My old fashioned was good, but I prefer the one I got at Nelson's Greenbrier. My buddies seemed to enjoy their time as the bartenders were super cool and chill and really knowledgeable about their products. They also gave us some good advice about other places to visit in Nashville. Seems like a pretty cool spot to hang out at, wish we had a little bit more time.

Yelp
When in doubt, whiskey it out. The girls and I popped in on Monday afternoon after sipping along distillery row and found ourselves the trendy, fun, one of a kind spot - Corsair! Being that we wanted to really sample it all, we bellied up to the bar and at the mercy of the sweet bartender, he walked us through the delicious line up of bottled liquor proudly crafted in Nashville. Six types of alcohol ranging in type, body and flavor (Gin, Rum, Whiskey to be exact) are created in house and for a mere charge, we sampled them all. Each liquor was smooth and simply drinkable! He provided us with an excellent rundown of the establishment and a fun tour of the booze provided! Afterwards, we headed to the other side of the tasting bar to Marathon Taproom which features a killer lineup of cocktails, craft beers and more made locally and beyond. Being on a vodka kick, I chose to sip on The Pink Lady, which came in the cutest little glass and garnish and tasted like a glorified strawberry milkshake. YUM! I was in heaven! My cousin opted for their Smoky Manhattan which was just to her liking - strong and spicy! My sister ended up with a draft beer, which was light in color and body - perfect way to cap off the day of exploring! Also offered - merch, tours of the distillery, mixology classes and more! When in Nash, I'll be back!

Yelp
Just handed off the bottle of absinthe that I got as a Christmas gift for my pops. It's 11am and we are already leaning. Licorice lovers should give it a try. Had a fantastic tour, inspired us to go on more considering this was our first one. Will definitely be back for another bottle of triple smoke for myself and some merch!

Yelp
Just wanting to kill some time during our Nashville visit we stumbled upon Corsair on our visit to Marathon Village. We pulled up to the bar for a quick drink and our waiter was quick to suggest the popular drink - Vesta. Triple smoked whiskey, lemon, honey , ginger , bitters / and flamed. All those ingredients together you get a Smokey yet sweet drink. It was excellent! The place had a great atmosphere and the service was excellent. Definitely worth a stop by for a drink.
google avatar

Marianne D.

Yelp
Stopped at this distillery in Marathon Village for a bourbon cocktail. My hubby had an Old Fashioned and I had a Vesta. Both were excellent. We decided to go on the distillery tour. We got lucky and Jo was our guide. She was personable, engaging and funny. Nice to do something other than Broadway. The distillery is in Marathon Village with lots of shopping. So explore.
google avatar

Lisa W.

Yelp
Last distillery stop! Once you enter they have a front bar and keep going to the back bar. The front bar we were not able to get the bartenders attention and gave up, so we discovered the back bar and the service there was better. We got some cocktails- whiskey sour, they made it right and excellent with egg whites! Also their old fashion was good too. There's some Jell-O shots available to! They also serve food, or pizza. So we got one to share and it was delicious! I love that it's in a warehouse and the vibe was cool. We sat near a window and watched the train. Cool spot.
google avatar

Jamie W.

Yelp
Highly highly recommend the distillery tour here! Our tour guide Carter was so fun and entertaining and their spirits are so smooth you can actually sip it straight. We did the 6pm tour, but I would recommend going earlier in the day so you can hang out at their bar afterwards. We did grab one set of cocktails before that tour that were delicious (probably our favorite cocktails from the whole trip), but it had closed by the time our tour ended. The tour includes a tasting with a mix of their spirits - we tried the gin, the spiced rum (aged in gin barrel), the barrel gin (unique flavors and aged in the gin/rum barrel), and then some rye and smoky whiskey. Definitely worth the trip over to check them out! We walked over, but I'd recommend an Uber because it was mostly along the highway/construction areas.
google avatar

Amanda M.

Yelp
This is a great place to go, about a 20 min drive from the main area in downtown Nashville! We walked there but ubered back. Highly recommend driving there over walking. The distillery tour is great and highly recommend. The tour kind is knowledgeable and nice. He went through the brewing process and equipment first, and then sampled 5 liquors, including rum, gin, and whiskey. The smoky whiskey and rum were my favorites. They also give a discount on glasses if you buy them after the tour, and the tour guide said it's cheaper to buy bottles there than at the airport. No travel sizes available though. We also ordered cocktails there and the fall queen was a great fall cocktail, a great chai rum combination. Saw people eating pizza there which looked good but we didn't try it. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating options for groups. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We just happened to find this place when looking for stuff near where we stayed. It's inside the Marathon Village (old auto manufacturing plant) and it's one end of the old auto plant. I didn't do the tour but stopped in for a drink and enjoyed it. They were pretty packed on a Saturday afternoon but we were able to grab seats at the bar. I enjoyed the Vesta (Triple Smoke Whiskey, Honey, Lemon, Ginger, Cedar) and it's always inspiring to see a bartender make a smoke-infused drink since that's definitely something I'm too lazy to make at home. The music selection at the bar was a little off to me, it was rap/hip-hop which didn't quite seem to fit the vibe. I'm not sure if they ever do live music but they didn't have live music when I was there. I enjoyed my drink and would come back here, maybe they'll have different music next time.

Yelp
We had a great time touring the distillery and enjoying a cocktail at the bar afterwards. Our tour guide was a lot of fun and informative especially during the post-tour tasting. The "tour" is really only 2 stops before the tasting, but personally I prefer low-key, no frills tours of distilleries and breweries as opposed to ones that are over-engineered and gimmicky. This is where they distill their small batch spirits and you get to see it and learn about the process for 20 minutes before you venture to the private tasting room. We were there in the fall so we got to try some of their seasonal spirits and cocktails. The tour group was small - maybe 10 people max - which also made it more enjoyable and personal. One word of caution, check the address carefully before plugging it into Uber/Lyft, because there are two Corsairs and we accidentally Ubered to the wrong one first! (It was also very nice, but more of a bar set up and not where the distillery tour is.)
google avatar

Laura W.

Yelp
Had a really lovely tasting of their all natural gin, whiskey and vodka. The vanilla bean vodka and the American gin were my favorite. Will definitely buy some at Total Wine when I get home.
google avatar

Yelp
Corsair is a craft distillery in the heart of Nashville located inside Marathon Village. This is one of 3 distilleries on the Tennessee Whiskey Trail within walking distance. Corsair specializes in whiskey and gin. The Triple Smoke Whiskey was by far my favorite. It makes an excellent old-fashioned, in my opinion. I will say the only negative thing is that it can be difficult to find. There are signs that direct you which is nice. Corsair also serves pizza to help absorb your libations. If whiskey or gin isn't your thing, they also serve local beers on tap. The service from my experience is on par. Not spectacular, but not terrible either. I believe Corsair serves a great product, but the Marathon Village location is a little difficult to navigate.
google avatar

Spencer K.

Yelp
Corsair Distillery is a pretty cool spot to grab a drink that has an old school vibe mixed with some modern flair. Check Corsair Distillery out if you want a pleasurable beverage.
google avatar

Debra K.

Yelp
We were introduced to some of Corsair's spirits at a Tulsa Giving Spirits event. When we saw their distillery on a trip to Nashville, we had to stop. It is located in a cool old building (former auto manufacturer), the staff is great, the cocktails are inventive, and the pizza isn't bad either. We started in the tap room and had a cocktail, a beer and a pizza. We then did a spirit tasting. So interesting. Did you know that their logo is based on three drunk Scottish guys the owner ran into on a trip. He's a fan of Reservoir Dogs and the Blues Brothers. It just seemed to fit. Cool merch for sale as well!
google avatar

Teri F.

Yelp
Stopped by for a tasting, stayed for cocktails! The spirit tasting was very informative, in a great way. Moved on to the bar with creative cocktails.
google avatar

Brittany B.

Yelp
Corsair was my favorite "hidden gem" when I moved to Nashville 10 years ago. I remember $7-8 cocktails and a unique, seasonal menu. I was a regular for a few years. The beer they brew onsite is also superb, but I think they now only offer 1-2 house brews and are more of a local tap room. They've evolved with the times and cocktails are now $12ish and fairly basic/standard with only a few seasonal specials to accommodate crowds. I definitely preferred the golden days of 2014-18 but still gladly recommend them to visitors (their spirits are all star, especially the Gin). Their staff has always been kind and lovely (both locations) and I am happy to report I got to pet both copper & pizza cat!
google avatar

Doug C.

Yelp
Amazing distillery, their rye whiskey is one of the best I've had. Old fashioned delicious, distillery tour was great! Our guide was great, very interesting story of how they came to be including some Utah ties. The bartender kindly obliged my friend trying to knock out some tasks for my bachelor party. The pizza was also delicious! As part of the tour, whiskey glasses were cheap, picked up a couple as souvenirs! Debating ordering their whiskey out of state! Definitely worth a tour if you're here visiting!
google avatar

Bobby Y.

Yelp
Cool use of this high-ceilinged old factory depot space. Historic vibes with cold local craft drafts and surprisingly tasty (but a little pricey) $19 thin crust medium bar pizzas produced by a 3rd party collaborator. Comfortable lounge-like seating areas perfect for groups of 6 to 10 with couches and coffee tables. All beer pints here are $8, which for Nashville is full-freight ($8 is what the Virgin Hotel charges per pint at their fancy outdoor bar) and most cocktails are $12-ish which is pretty average. It's not uncommon to find $5-$6 pints around town. I figure not many of the bachelorette parties that tour through here care what the beer costs. The beer flowing out of the taps here is cold and crisp, which I do appreciate! Friendly staff and a chill environment - and right next to the train tracks. It's not exactly fancy, but it's definitely no dive. Worth checking out if you happen to be within a few blocks of here. Probably unlikely to become one's favorite spot of all spots, but worth checking out!
google avatar

Kevin M.

Yelp
I visited Corsair while waiting for another appointment. I'm glad I did! I only did a tasting, but jeeze, it was good! Despite working a couple groups, the bartender spent time explaining each spirit and some of the tasting notes. I appreciated the time. The Triple Smoke Whiskey is awesome! I highly recommend it.
google avatar

Christina P.

Yelp
Great small-batch distillery with a medium-sized catalog of spirits. I'm a Hendricks fan so their American Gin was fabulous. It had that strong cucumber flavor that I love with a touch of spicyness that was unexpected and definitely welcome! My tour guide was Carter and he was excellent. Both informative and humorous... which, honestly, is what we're all looking for in a tour guide.
google avatar

Donnie A.

Yelp
Great bartenders that are very knowledgeable about their products! Never thought I would leave with the aged Gin over their whiskey but it was the best thing on the menu! Not my favorite whiskeys, but still a cool place to check out!
google avatar

Michael D.

Yelp
Beautiful tasting room and bar that honors the legacy of the location and amazing architecture. Dynamite cocktails with high quality ingredients for the same prices as crap ones on Broadway. Plus it's a very relaxing atmosphere so you can actually enjoy drinking it undisturbed by obnoxious drunks, etc.
google avatar

Averie V.

Yelp
We toured the distillery and sat at the bar in the taproom to in an attempt to try a few drinks during our visit. Our tour guide (I think his name was Cole) was phenomenal!! He was super informative but kept it fun. Our drinks from the taproom were all delicious... I really enjoyed the one with cold brew coffee in it. The 3 people working behind the bar were the only downfall to our visit... they weren't very welcoming or friendly... No one ever actually took our order - the bartender overheard me tell my husband what I was considering getting and went ahead and just made me one - a few girls down the bar had both ordered the same drink so he just mixed it in a batch and brought it over. I was impressed at first... but then he never came back down to our end of the bar to take my husbands order- so once I finished my drink we tabbed out and left.

Yelp
Fun distillery tour and tasting. Tap room with beer and pizza for before or after your tour and tasting. Great tour in their distillery and good selection of tastings. Gins, bourbon, and other award winning spirits.
google avatar

Kevin N.

Yelp
Inside Marathon Water Works is this cool distillery. I didn't do the tour, but I stopped by for a few drinks. There's a decent amount of table with Plexiglas and 6 ft inbetween. They have a good selection of cocktails and even beers. They also have a few pizza on hand in case you get hungry. I got the whisky with coffee and it was a great combination. Got me buzzed and woke me up! The beers are great too, and they let you have tasters so you can figure out which one you want to down!

Jason C.

Yelp
India was amazing! 5 stars! Super friendly and down to earth, high recommend because of her alone!
google avatar

George F.

Yelp
I have two used whiskey barrels from Corsair at home that I use to age homebrewed wild ales so I like to visit them every time I'm in Nashville. The first time I went they did their own beer aged in barrels. This time they had stopped that but still offered lots of local beers. We started with a sampling of their spirits. It was a blast but that's not really my thing. Then we stopped into the tap room. That was a great time! We tried lots of local beers. I think the two aspects combined make for a great visit.
google avatar

Shirl S.

Yelp
Located in a cool old beautiful brick warehouse building in Nashville that produces craft whisky and can enjoy whiskey tasting. They have a nice variety to taste, that I appreciate. I'm not a whiskey person but loved the education. Fun local experience to have in good ol' Nashville.
google avatar

Karl N.

Yelp
Awesome tour and tasting session for $20. Got to see the full blown distillation process from start to finish, in detail. Fun and friendly staff.

Yelp
SUMMARY. I've now done the tour/tasting twice: once with a friend and once with my parents. It is an awesome experience. $16.30 all-in gets you a tour of the actual facility where they make the booze and also a tasting of 5 types of their alcohol in their private tasting room. This last time they were in the middle of a batch, and you got to see it in the actual vats in the middle of the process. This was very cool to me, as I've been on other tours which were only for show, i.e. you don't actually see the real place the booze is made. This was much better. Our tour guide both times I was there was a gentleman named Carter. He is incredibly knowledgeable and an overall great human being. I highly recommend seeking him out specifically for your tour. AMBIENCE. We started out waiting for the tour in the bar and had a couple of drinks. I enjoyed a beer and a craft cocktail, both of which were great. The atmosphere was lively. The actual room where they make the booze has a warehouse-y feel, as it should. You definitely get the vibe that it is optimized for production and not meant to be customer-facing. I thought this really added to the authenticity of the tour. The last room is the actual tasting room, which was super cool. The tour guide pours several types of booze while the tour is seated at a private bar and listens to what makes each one of their products unique. The ambience of all three rooms is very different, and all are top notch. VENUE. The venue is located off Charlotte northwest of downtown. It's a super cool mall-like building that sells various local sundries and is reminiscent of the early 1900s. It has a really awesome vibe, especially for a craft whiskey distillery. QUALITY. The quality of the tour is great. Carter gives you so much information and the experience is incredibly worthwhile. The quality of the alcohol is also great, all with very unique flavors and smooth finishes. My family insisted on going to the airport early en route back to Chicago just to be sure they had enough time to buy bottles there (you can also buy them at the distillery itself, but we were short on time). VALUE. For $16.30, it is an absolute steal. You get to see exactly where the booze is made, learn about the entire process and what makes this distillery and all its products unique, and you get an incredible tasting. DURATION. The entire tour and tasting takes one hour. TAKEAWAYS. The takeaway is this is a must-see. Given the low price, short duration, awesome quality (of both the staff and the booze), there are no excuses not to come here. I will be back again shortly, I'm sure. Happily, Clayton Cohn

Yelp
The booze was AOK. They were very creative in what they made and we brought home a few bottles. The tasting was $11 a person. The person doing the tasting was relatively cold and rude. Not the best experience I have ever had at a distillery. Tasty booze. Meh tasting, despite being very well versed in their spirits. The stars come from the service level.

Yelp
On my ventures of the whiskey trail, this place caught my attention with the creativity they had in their spirits. Came for tasting and Tyler was out of this world amazing! This gentleman completely blew my mind with the education and knowledge he had of his product as well as how to enjoy it. This was probably one of the best tastings I've ever had, however this is probably one of the first I've actually never bought a bottle. The flavors, originality and experience or far superior than those I've experienced at the majority of other distilleries. I am not a huge fan of the spirits they sell, however for those looking for an extraordinary variety of the ways spirits can be served and presented and distilled blew my mind. I would absolutely recommend this place as a stop without a doubt. My hats off to Tyler as a very well informed educator.
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
Ben was so awesome and fun. We enjoyed the tasting and left with our favorite bottle plus the hot sauce! Thanks for a great time!

Jill C.

Yelp
Must stop when you are in Nashville. We came back after doing the troll tour the day before. It is amazing how much there is to do in Marathon Village! Three distillers, wine tasting and shopping. Drinks, pizza and bartender at Corsair were top notch!!
google avatar

Marti H.

Yelp
Great location. Really easy to make reservations. Loved being able to taste not only whiskey, but also a spiced rum and gin. We were given a tour of the facility, then taken to a bar area to taste. The bar had plastic partisans up, for COVID. The tour guide was great. I took one star off only for price. We took 2 other tours while here in Nashville, and paid much less.
google avatar

Katie R.

Yelp
Cute area. Lots of history and seating to enjoy the surroundings. Following CDC rules. The Edison lights the calming and the tastings are served in plastic communion sized glasses for quick samples. The bourbon barrel gin was my favorite and it would make a great cocktail!

Yelp
Some nice whiskey, beer and cider tasting at Corsair but it was soured by the crabby female server with dark hair, behind the counter who was pouring our drinks. I am not sure why she was so cold towards us from the time we walked in as polite, adult paying customers, but for some reason she just couldn't find a way to seen nice to us. It was far different than what we were experiencing everywhere else in this area that day on our visit at the nearby Winery and Distillery at Marathon. We were looking to purchase some bottles to bring home with us. However, sadly, I wouldn't go back or recommend this place to anyone because of our poor experience. It left us feeling unwelcomed and like we were inconveniencing her with our drink orders.

Yelp
We've been touring the American Pickers building and felt thirsty. We stopped in for #basic Pumpkin Ale. It's perfect. I wish we could stay and get silly drunk on these nectars.

Yelp
Such a great find! We were hanging out prior to a meeting at Marathon Village and thought we'd find some food here, but the liquid dinner was divine.

Yelp
While visiting Nashville, my husband and I stopped into Corsair Distillery & Taproom on a Thursday afternoon for a tour and tasting. The tour wasn't incredibly long but it was very informative. I was impressed by the taste of the products. Regardless of if you do the tour/tasting, the drinks were absolutely delicious, creative recipes, and some of the best we had during our visit to Nashville. If you appreciate a quality cocktail, I definitely recommend stopping in (they also had beer options if that's your thing). I recommend eating before coming because there are only a small selection of food items (pizza and snacks). Also important to note, the service was great. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Nash!

Yelp
A fun stop in this shopping unit. The service was friendly and helpful. It was great that they also gave a 4oz option. My sister and I were able to try a few different items on the menu, all very flavorful and delicious. We weren't able to take the tour, but I think it's great that this option is available to those who are interested. 4/5

Yelp
What do you get when you mix a distillery cat, doc martins, pirates, small batch whiskey and science? A damn good distillery tour! Despite a very underwhelming arrival, with a crabby bobbed blonde bartender, who couldn't have avoided us any harder if she tried....we overheard a tour announcement in the next room. Oh, there is a next room? That would be useful to share with out of town, tour-paying guests chicky! (1 star docked) Enter our lovely bartender who hooked us up with a gin cocktail to take with us on the tour. Thank you Ms. "from Colorado Springs" (sorry I can't recall your name but you were awesome!). We headed on the tour with a small group and a super friendly and knowledgeable guide, Dakota. We learned history of the distillery, how they overcame all the atrocious "bible belt" rules and laws, and of the intense process to produce their various rum, whiskeys and gin. The story of copper "Bertha" was fascinating, as was the immense detail of the whiskey making process, along with the deadly nature of the methane and other components that have to be carefully worked through as you create your final products, and dispose of others byproducts. That statement alone is grossly under-accentuating how delicate each of the many steps in the process are, all for the greater good of making small batch beauties as they do here at Corsair Distillery. After all the learnings, we went into the tastings of gin, rye and several whiskeys. I loved the gin...I didn't expect to enjoy it solo...that just speaks to how good it is. I respect the browns but don't love them in general. No biggie, I enjoyed tasting and learning about each one here but couldn't "wolf them" 16 Candles style. We went back to the bar and enjoyed another cocktail and a great playlist before finishing our time at the distillery. Thank you Dakota and Corsair for doing great things in and for Nashville.
