COTE Vegas - Review - The Strip - Las Vegas - The Infatuation

"Chances are, no matter how early your dinner is at Cote, there’ll be a DJ in the booth overlooking the dramatic, multi-level dining room. The Vegas version of the NYCKorean BBQ staplemight feel like a clubstaurant at first, but if the servers expertly grilling your meat or the massive wine list don’t get it across: this is actually the fanciest, most serious KBBQ spot in Vegas. If you’d rather spend more time celebrity spotting than scouring the menu, you can’t go wrong with the popular-for-a-reason Butcher’s Feast for $88.88 per person that includes four different cuts like the tender skirt steak, pitch-perfect banchan including an incredible shredded scallion salad, and vanilla ice cream with a delicious soy sauce caramel that beats the typical sea-salted kind. Add on the kimchi wagyu paella to share for a rich, egg yolk-soaked fried rice that you’ll crave the next day. But honestly, the best part might be the least visible: you won’t walk out smelling like grilled meat thanks to smokeless grills and high-tech floor ventilation." - Emmy Kasten

Michelin-Starred Korean Steakhouse Cote Debuts in Las Vegas With Wagyu Omakase and a DJ Booth | Eater Vegas

"A Michelin-starred Korean barbecue heavyweight is finally making its Las Vegas debut in the Venetian’s waterfall atrium, marrying smokeless tabletop grills and an American steakhouse ethos with a club-like, gold-bathed room by David Rockwell and the brand’s first DJ box. The menu sticks to the hits — the signature Butcher’s Feast parades USDA Prime and American wagyu for $88.88 per person (with banchan, scallion salad, gyeran-jjim, kimchi stew, doenjang stew, and vanilla soft serve with soy sauce caramel), a decadent steak omakase runs $225, and a la carte cuts span dry-aged rib-eye, Cote galbi, and filet mignon alongside Japanese A5 wagyu from Miyazaki, Sendai, and Kobe — while Las Vegas-only additions include a Blackjack Sandwich with A5 wagyu, black truffle, and truffle aioli on milk toast and a “steak and eggs” riff of filet mignon tartare on milk bread topped with caviar. Starters skew luxe with a build-your-own gimbap at $198 (caviar, uni, bluefin tuna) and an expansive raw program capped by a $325 platter with caviar, sashimi, oysters, prawns, and lobster “escargot,” plus shareables like black cod in kimchi jjigae sauce, bibimbap, kimchi wagyu paella with kkakdugi, and somyun in hot anchovy broth under executive chef David Shim. Drinks run deep — cocktails (try the Elvis-inspired King or the Nectar of the Gods), soju including Khee, beer (Brooklyn Lager on draft, Echigo Koshihikari and Ballast Point Sculpin by the bottle), zero-proof options, and an acclaimed wine list curated by Victoria James with premium pours by the glass. The 17,000-square-foot space places raised booths around a central bar beneath a lotus-like ceiling sculpture, and a lit staircase climbs to a glass-encased skybox, signaling the intent to “turn up the club level” without compromising the serious beef and hospitality the brand is known for. Opening October 4, this is the biggest Cote yet, staffed by a 150-person team and tailored as an immersive, iconically Las Vegas expression of the concept." - Rebecca Roland

COTE Las Vegas located in the Venetian is a modern upscale restaurant with a cool and trendy vibe. The ambiance was great and it had a sort of artistic layout with the seating rippling out around a central bar area. There was also a DJ up in a room overseeing the restaurant. Service was top notch and very friendly. Now getting to the food. If I’m being honest it was just ok. Not bad but not the greatest. I had really high hopes for a restaurant whose sister restaurant has a Michelin star. Unfortunately it did not deliver. While the meats were supposed to be top quality American black angus, American wagyu, and A5 Japanese wagyu, they just weren’t as good as I’d expect especially at this price point. One of my favorite yakiniku restaurants in LA (Yazawa) has much higher quality beef and their omakase is almost half the price of COTE. While I’d give this restaurant top marks for service and atmosphere, for me it was lacking in food and value. Atmosphere: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Value: 2/5 Total: 4/5

Wish I could give ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was truly one of the most incredible dining experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely flawless — every team member, from the host stand to our servers, was warm, professional, and genuinely kind. We’ll admit, we felt a little out of our element at first — a friend told us this was a must-try — but our waiter, Korey, guided us through the entire experience with such patience and care. The staff checked in regularly and kept everything running seamlessly. And the food… wow. Every dish was extraordinary! From the Lobster Escargot to the kimchi samplings, we were completely hooked. My husband is a very particular eater, and even he couldn’t stop raving about how amazing everything tasted — I was so proud of him for trying so many new things! The atmosphere was a total vibe — energetic yet elegant — complete with a DJ setting the perfect tone for the evening. If you’re ever in Las Vegas, COTE is an absolute must. It was our first visit, but it definitely won’t be our last — it’s at the very top of our list for next time!

Absolutely loved my dining experience at COTE Korean Steakhouse Las Vegas! The interior is stunning, elegant lighting, stylish decor, and such a vibrant atmosphere. I ordered the Butcher’s Feast with a Wagyu upgrade (+$33) and the Beef Tartare, plus a cocktail, everything was beyond delicious and beautifully presented. The quality of the beef was outstanding, and every bite melted in my mouth. My server Jennifer was amazing, she explained every detail so clearly and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Jurnee was also super attentive and thoughtful, always checking in and making sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend this place if you’re in Vegas and want premium Korean BBQ with exceptional service and atmosphere!

This is a Korean BBQ style chain restaurant. The decorations and vibes are contemporary, club like and colorful. Like most Korean BBQ style restaurants, the main feature here is meat. We got the omakase style meal and it featured 8 types of meat cuts. The Ban Chun are part of the meal and they were good. Overall we had a good experience here.

I had an outstanding experience at Cote Las Vegas, and a huge part of that was thanks to Manager Jae Kim. From the moment I arrived, Jae made sure everything was seamless, welcoming, and personalized. His professionalism, warm energy, and attention to detail truly set the tone for the entire visit. The service, ambiance, and overall hospitality at Cote were top-tier, but Jae elevated it even further. You can tell he genuinely cares about guest experience, offering thoughtful recommendations, and making sure everything exceeded expectations. Every dish was perfectly seasoned, beautifully presented, and cooked with precision. The quality of the meats was exceptional—rich, tender, and full of flavor. Even the sides and sauces were memorable, showcasing the kind of craftsmanship that sets Cote apart from other steakhouses.

This restaurant's staff works together to greet and serve ever customer that walks in. Everyone was so friendly and dedicated to ensuring we had an amazing visit. The menu options were exciting and we were advised on how to order shortly after we sat down. I was above and beyond impressed with all the food... even with the gorgeous /delicious fruit platter that they provided me since I can't have dairy for dessert. 1000% recommend and can't wait to go back.

I was very excited to try this place hearing such great things about this being the first Michelin start Korean BBQ, I thought wow, got to try it. Having been married to a Korean for over 30 years you can say I've had my share of awesome and authentic Korean foods, and I LOVE IT! I also have eaten in Michelin star restaurants all over the world. Regardless of the cuisine they all have one thing in common elevated flavors, creativity and presentation. COTE, however, has none of that, sadly. I was expecting bold flavors across the traditional side dishes like kimchi and pickled radish, etc. Here they were mildly pickled and spiced, lacking flavors like garlic. I am guessing they go light for the "American palette"? I would go full on Korean, the American Palette has improved over the years and its grown toward spicy and picked flavors. If you've never had Korean than you would not know the difference and probably love this food, its just not authentic enough for me and therefore the 3 star, I'd do 3.5 if it let me. Honestly, not trying to sound mean but I have no idea how they got a Michelin star, unless if was for their service. Th meats were the star of the food show, we had one of each steak type and the wagyu ribeye was the winner. Our server did a wonderful job explaining everything and preparing our meat cuts. His service (I think his name was Brian) was the best part of the night and the most fun. Over all the wait staff were fantastic, a glass was never empty and used plates were removed immediately, full on 5 star service. The Atmosphere is awesome! Very nicely decorated. Love the bar and booth seating arrangement. Another 5 stars. Highly recommend reservations, this place was packed line down the hall at 5pm
