This place has such a warm and inviting atmosphere — perfect for a date night or catching up with friends over great cocktails. The staff are incredibly friendly and make everyone feel welcome; it’s clear that inclusivity is a core part of the vibe here. The cocktails are truly excellent — each one is crafted with care and attention to detail, and you can taste the quality in every sip. I haven’t had a chance to try the food yet, but it looked yummy. Highly recommend checking this spot out!

We were there on a Thursday night for drinks and dinner. Honestly, the cocktails were unique and oh so tasty! I asked the waiting staff, I believe his name was Joao to decide my drink & explained my preferences. I loved what I got. My husband asked to explain some of the cocktails, and Joao explained the different ones in so much detail. For dinner, we had truffle fries that I recommend, so generous with the truffle sauce! And we had a burger and a croque Monsieur, both of which were high quality and delicious. All in all a wonderful experience, and we will be back!

One of the best cocktail bars in the UK—certainly top three in London, and my personal favourite! Easily the best in East London. It’s an absolute must-visit, offering creative, delicious cocktails, friendly staff, and a fantastic atmosphere. Visit once and you’ll definitely be coming back—it’s that good!

The pina colada was very good, and it is a classic of this bar. The sofas in the store are very comfortable, suitable for gathering with friends. However, the bartender service at the bar needs to be improved. The two bartenders kept talking to a customer and ignored my requests many times. I waited for a long time and wanted to order a second drink but there was no chance. So I only had one drink and left.

Superb service. Friendly, authentic and intelligent. Staff know what they’re doing. Food is amazing, the prawns are the best I’ve had anywhere. I would say comfort food but if you’re sharing with cocktails it’s perfect. The menu is good but the staff curate the experience for you. Definitely worth the visit and superior to other venues in the area. Highly recommend if your big on cocktails as they know their classics inside out

Great music. Menu is very down to earth and approachable but the drinks are really solid. Ended up here on Sunday so we got to try their development menu, when they serve drinks their worshipping for under £10.

Coupette is a hidden gem in Bethnal Green, offering a great selection of inventive cocktails in a cozy, relaxed setting. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, adding to the warm atmosphere. It's a perfect spot for a casual drink or a more intimate night out. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

Coupette is absolutely one of my favorite spots in East London/Bethnal Green Area. I came for the drinks but loved my Croque Monsieur as well. I haven't had a chance to visit when they have a music program on as well but I can imagine they are great nights. If you aren't a big drinker (like me) tell one of the super knowledgeable staff and they will hook you up with a great drink. Made a friend or two the night I visited and we ended up having some brandy, it was fun and very French. Came here solo and it was a great place to enjoy myself, sitting at the bar and making some new acquaintances. Can't wait to come back here, hopefully on a night they have music.

Decided to visit the Coupette after I saw it won best new cocktail bar in the world 2018. The cocktails were flawless. Absolutely delicious. 100% recommend. Cocktails were very reasonable from 8-10quid each. Wasn't too busy when we visited on a Thursday night, but in fall and winter we were told it gets very busy so would suggest reserving a table. The location could fit a group of 6-8.

Quaint trendy spot close to Shoreditch. This is a little out of the way from center London so if you're in the area its worth checking out, but I wouldn't come out here just to visit. If you do head this way, make sure you check out Satan's Whiskers as well. Menu didn't blow me away as in needing to try a ton. We ended up ordering their 3 most famous drinks and they were all great.
