The Best New Brunches in New Orleans | Eater New Orleans

"A restaurant specializing in brunch opened in the LGD in March, banking on the bustling neighborhood’s affinity for the mid-day meal. A wide-ranging menu offers local classics like eggs Sardou and shrimp and grits alongside trendy creations like a duck bacon tower, fried chicken and waffle cone, Monkey Bread skillet, and a smoked salmon croissant benedict called the “Smokin’ Paris Models.” Brunch is served daily at Crack’d from 8 a.m." - Eater Staff

Where to Savor New Orleans’s Best Shrimp and Grits | Eater New Orleans

"Nothing shy about this out of the box brunch joint in the LGD, from its yolk yellow paint job to the disco ball spinning in the dining room. Crack’d’s menu is joyful too, with lacquered duck bacon swapping for swine and a shrimp and grits version popping with fresh corn maque choux and a drizzle of Worcestershire butter. Save room for the gooey monkey bread for dessert." - Beth D’Addono

My sisters and I came here for our last day in New Orleans. We absolutely loved this place. It was great vibes and a vibrant atmosphere. The servers and staff are friendly and kind. They definitely go above and beyond for their customers. We got the glazed crispy brussels, blue crab rangoon, the shrimp and grits, banana foster and the Monkey Bread. Every bite was delicious! It was the perfect ending to our time in New Orleans! Thank you TJ, Melissa and Shawn for such great service.

Came here for the first time for my birthday brunch it was really nice. I put myself on the waiting list and the time was very accurate about at 40 min wait so we had to time to get ready at the hotel and by the time we showed up to the restaurant we were immediately seated. The server was really nice and speedy it was really crowded but everything came out at a reasonable time. All the food was also pretty good and good portions. The crab Rangoons was the star of the show. Highly recommend. They have a nice selection of drinks and mocktails as well. They have a lot of unique options. The space is pretty small and can get very packed so I recommend making reservations! But overall great brunch spot in the magazine area!

Unique breakfast/ brunch spot full of good vibes. Food was amazing. Husband said his seafood omelet was the best he's ever had. I loved my shrimp and grits (very flavorful) along with monkey bread.

COME HERE NOW! I CAN’T brag enough about this place! We came here on a whim and it did not disappoint! It’s so cute and right off Magazine St. The ambience is definitely sunny side up with light modern features. Definitely different from most Nola restaurants. We came for my niece’s birthday and they made her feel so special! Little Miss Finally Legal hasn’t stopped smiling. According to her, please drink the Strawberry Lemon Drops. We started with the Crab Wontons. They sent us into a different stratosphere! I’ve never had one so tasty. The Chicken and Waffles are a new favorite for us. DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT TRYING THE MONKEY BREAD! You’re welcome. The entire staff was absolutely outstanding. Missy was our server and her smile was everything. She was always so helpful and quick! Our food and drinks came so fast for it to be so busy. The manager TJ also came by along with the entire staff (so friendly) one by one to make Chelsey feel extra special. Thank you for our treat! TJ you have an amazing team and if it starts from the top. You truly are the greatest example! Missy my girl we will see you soon! Thank you guys for everything!

We got the crab rangoons, the shrimp and grits, and the lemon ricotta pancakes. Every bite was delicious!!! We loved it! It was the perfect ending of our time in New Orleans!

My Family & I had the best time. The manager TJ was so sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. All the staff were more than friendly, and they made us feel at home. I haaaateee pancakes but the pancakes that Cracked served 10/10 I couldn't get enough, my mother had the shrimp & grits and she said 10/10 it was the best she ever had and my sister loved her food too. Can't wait for them to open a location in NC 10/10 would come back 100% a foodie recommendation.

This place is like locking into a friend's house for a meal. Everyone is so incredibly friendly. You feel like you belong as soon as you walk in the door. The food is absolutely amazing. A staff is so incredibly wonderful. We love this little restaurant and we'll definitely be back the next time we are in the garden district.

Google
My best friend and I came here for brunch and had the most enjoyable time! Right when you walk in the door, you’re greeted by a brightly and uniquely designed restaurant. I ordered the iced cardamom latte and it was absolutely delicious — the right amount of spice and sweetness! I also ordered the Shakshuka and it was quite savory and flavorful. My best friend ordered the crab cake Benedict and it was definitely top notch. When visiting NOLA again in the future, we will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
The food is amazing the crab wonton recommend 100% and ask for Ronald he was an amazing waiter. Ambiance beautiful family oriented . I will give it 100 instead of a ten we came from florida and saw it on yelp with great reviews and there is no disappointment!

Yelp
Y'all this place is soo awesome the food was fantastic. Great customer service. Our servers was so awesome. We had a party of 24. We never had to wait long for anything. Anthony and Ronald please ask for them you want be sorry. The restaurant itself was very clean , the other servers was very friendly and helpful. I'll be back.

Yelp
This is the cutest spot, and I wish it had been there 10 years ago when I lived around the corner. First, I love restaurants that offer a "join the waitlist" for when you're in route. My friends are rarely on time, so reservations don't always happen. Being able to wait in route keeps us from having to rethink location. Ronald was an excellent server! Made good suggestions - the crab rangoon, timed things perfectly, and was friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered a smattering of starters as well as the lemon ricotta pancakes. I'd go back for those and the duck bacon alone. In fact I will go back for those things alone. Great drink menu. All around great joint!

Yelp
I've had Crack'd bookmarked for a while. I was excited to visit after reading all the reviews. My first visit here didn't live up to the hype. To start, the off street parking is not easy during a busy day and good luck trying to find a close spot. If you are local, I suggest using Uber. The duck bacon tower had a good presentation, but the taste was just okay. The chicken and waffles came out cold. The bacon and waffles seemed like they had the same spicy maple syrup on it. It took a while for us to get our sever to bring our check. With all the options in this area, I am not sure I would dine here again.

Yelp
Appt time - 12:30, 8 ppl When we got there we were greeted by the staff and told them our reservation time and they quickly got some tables together for our party. Our waitress was phenomenal, she was very helpful and very timely. She helped accommodate us when we had an extra person show up last minute. We ordered the bread basket for the table and the selection was amazing, it came with muffins, croissants and an assortment of other breads. We all had different items on the menu that we all enjoyed. Our only issue was the water we kept getting had particles floating around. After 2 new waters we felt bad for wanting to ask for another so we just let it go. The ambiance was very vibrant, bright yellow and black all over, it wasn't too loud inside. I would give another go and try something else.

Yelp
Really cool restaurant! Design was thoroughly thought out Floor to ceiling. Everything on the menu was great except the "signature omelette" was underwhelming. Brunch here would be fun. Would be cool to see them incorporate an AYCE weekend option.
google avatar

Kim N.

Yelp
Cute brunch establishment. We came here on a Sunday and was seated in 10 minutes. I order the salmon rosti each time and it does not disappoint.
google avatar

Christina C.

Yelp
Loved the cute little spot on the corner giving fancy bodega vibes. Very coast like deco vibes. To the meat and potatoes, so the staff was amazing, kind, and attentive. The food was properly seasoned I didn't need to add any alternative ingredients. This definitely has my attention for a keep it in the bag of brunch tricks. This spot is definitely a repeat visit in the future. Parking can be pretty tight so if you're going on the weekend, be prepared to maybe park a block away and walk over. Definitely worth the visit.

Yelp
Wow!! I recently went to an event at Crack'd where I tried five different items from the menu. Here's what I had and what I thought: The Double Down burger I had as a slider. I am a Burger Fan and from the first bite it was the bread. I love a yeasty sweet bun and the flavor in this one was rich and soaked up all the juices from the burger. Delicious! Next, I had the crab cakes which you can get in the Benedicts section. These were great, more crab, less filler. Then I tried the Blue Crab Rangoon and let me tell you, these paired so well with the Slow Down, Relax cocktail that I suggest you start with this duo upon arrival. Now I know you may not be a gin fan so you can sub in the Crack'd Morning cocktail for the same pairing. Finally, my favorite, and a big surprise because I'm not a sweets fan, was the Bananas Foster Pain Perdu. I was so taken with this item, I just completely stopped talking and savored the flavor. I had a cold brew martini with the pain perdu and though both were dessertish, the cold brew martini was balanced with a fine espresso flavor and the pain perdu had an unctuous bite to it that made wish I had more. Great environment, super energy and positivity, this place is a hit! Note: 5 stars to Crack'd for having a mocktail menu that was created by a mixologist. This is the first place outside of Cincinnati where I have found a an equitable drink menu for those abstaining from alcohol. Fitness enthusiasts can try the Oasis Refresher and party people should start with the Peach Bellini or the Good Girl Mimosa.

Yelp
So this is my second time here and the food is very good. The atmosphere is very trendy and service is amazing. Make sure that you make reservations or get on the waitlist, or you will have to wait.

Yelp
This place aesthetic alone has this place at a 5 star. The decor made it perfect for a girls day brunch. Our server was top notch and well adverse in the menu which I absolutely loved. We never felt rushed when we were ordering. He brought us more ice for the bucket. Definitely was a pleasant waiter to have. The food, y'all I don't even know where to start. Everything was so amazing, fast, fresh, and full of that New Orleans flavor. I have to say my favorite was the lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes!!!!! Just thinking about them makes my mouth watery! We ordered the crab Rangoons, seafood omelette, duck bacon, steak n eggs, crab cake Benedict, and acadian assets. You cant go wrong with any of these items. If its on your radar please just go. You wont be disappointed. Oh did I mention you can bring your own bottle of alcohol..... what are you waiting for. GO

Yelp
Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and very helpful. His recommendations were amazing. We enjoyed the ambiance. The beauty is you control your buzz...it's a BYOB! If you don't have any you can go across the street and purchase but that's always a plus for me. I will rate out of 10: Mocha latte 10/10 Hibiscus tea: 10/10 Duck Bacon: 10/10 Omelet: 8/10 very bland for NOLA restaurant condiments available(you will need them) Chicken&Waffles: 10/10 Presentation was superb. Remember bring your bubbly...you can also bring your own mixers.

Yelp
Another fun little brunch place in New Orleans just off of Magazine St. The decor of this place is so unique and customized to the theme of the restaurant (Crack'D). It was so much just to step in and just see all of these different touches that went into the design. The restaurant was super busy and did require a reservation. Upon arrival, my friend and I got seated at a booth on the side. Water was served in a glass carafe and coffee was served in cute coffee mugs. The menu was extensive and so many choices had to be made. We decided to share three dishes: Mac Daddy Mac & Cheese with smoked brisket on the side, Eggs Sardou Benedict, and a side of Hashbrowns. My friend is a vegetarian so we asked to have the smoked brisket on the side, I actually misread the menu and thought we got the Brussel sprouts and crawfish as well, turns out you get to choose one. Lol. The food choices were on point! The Eggs Sardou with the puff pastry was yum! And the Mac and Cheese was creamy! Really wish we had ordered the fried Brussel sprouts because it would have added an excellent flavor! The hashbrowns were standard and we probably could have done without. Would come back for a combination of the experience and the food. Drinks: I just had coffee and water. There is a selection of bubblies and cocktails that can be ordered. And I believe there is a bottomless mimosa option on the weekends. Happy Hour: NA Service: It was good. The server was busy but filled our drinks on request. Parking: Street Parking. This is right off of Magazine St so parking may have some challenges. But it's not paid parking. Pets: Probably for the outdoor seating. Outside Seating: Yes

Yelp
I have not had a bad experience the 6 times I've been here. It is a pork free brunch spot ( I'm Muslim) , this is amazing . Duck bacon is all I have to say.

Yelp
When? Saturday - 1:30pm - 4 people - had a reservation, and were sat promptly. I reallyyyyyyy wanted to like crack'd..... From the moment we walked in, the vibe was great and the music was so good! They also have bottomless mimosas for $25 & also a flight option for $15! Seems like a good vibe... but It took 45 minutes to get a single mimosa. My grits were cold, clumped and not even fully cooked... so had to send them back. The omelets lacked seasoning so salt & pepper was definitely necessary. The hashbrowns were okay and also not fully fried, I wouldn't recommend them if you had to choose- go the brussels sprouts option or bacon/sausage. The coffee was very good! Drinks tasted great. You can very easily split the bill tho via Toast on the QR code on the bill. Love the easy check out option! Overall, i'm not in a rush to come back. It was an okay experience.

Yelp
Amazing experience the staff are friendly and attentive to what you need. The food was delicious good overall especially the duck bacon. Perfect place to have drinks with friends.

Yelp
Known for egg variations and no pork/swine. The hostess was very pleasant. She quoted a 45 minute wait but the bar area was first come first serve. We were able to get 2 seats at the bar within 10 minutes of us being there which was nice. We sat but it took a while for them to clean off the area which was a bit half done. The bar service was iffy. Just enough to get what we needed but nothing special. The floor was terribly nasty. I accidentally dropped some items out of my purse and wanted to throw them away when I picked up off the floor as it was so nasty. One of the servers at the bar kept staring at me but I wasn't sure what she wanted or needed from me. I laughed it off because it was awkward. The rose' Champaign was nice and chilled with plenty bubbles. The duck bacon was very good! The salmon Benedict was ok, I'd probably not get it again. It seemed like it was missing something, maybe capers. The crab cake Benedict was pretty good but the Hollandaise sauce they put on it was cold. It was pretty loud but overall I may give it another shot.

Yelp
Finally decided to try Crack'D after passing numerous times leaving work. I can say I throughly enjoyed my experience. I met a friend here during brunch this past Sunday and a time was had! This is a cutesy little brunch spot located in the Lower Garden District of the city. Since it is fairly new, it's always booked. We sat at the bar instead of a table because of that reason. Met the bartender Jon who is one of my absolute faves in the city. He made their take on an espresso martini which is called a cold brew martini-- when I say 10/10, the taste is amazingly amazing. I ordered the chicken and waffles, my friend had shrimp + grits. Both meals were delicious! Atmosphere and Service were both great as well! I'm excited to go back to crack'D very soon!

Gardesha W.

Yelp
Yummy! The food was tasty and our waitress gave us good service. The it was very cute clean and had a modern look. I wish I would have got more photos of the decor especially the ceiling. Parking was a little hassle but that's is to be expected in New Orleans. The area felt save so I felt ok to walk about 8 min from the restaurant. Only thing it was BYOB we bout champagne and they provided juice!
google avatar

Amber W.

Yelp
I would suggest making reservations if coming on the weekend. I think this is a cute spot to come to with friends. I loved the shakshuka and the bacon. The people that I came with said their food was ok. You may have to consider the palates of the people you come with.
google avatar

Chantal B.

Yelp
This restaurant is the cutest. It really gives the appearance of being in a scrambled egg. Our waitress was the sweetest and was so reassuring when we realized there was no alcohol. Food wise, all I can say is Bananas Foster French Toast! OMG! The foodgasm my taste buds had was mind-blowing. The crisp of the bread + the sauce + the gelato on top, I had to compliment the chef. It's a must-have! I was full and didn't want to stop.

Yelp
We stopped here for brunch before an afternoon flight, and will definitely be sure to come back! To start with, I definitely recommend a reservation for the weekend. Luckily we had made one, which was for 10:30, but I overhead the hostess telling walk-ins that the wait was an hour and a half at that point. Parking is just local street parking that's paid to park ($4.50 for 2 hours) and also very limited. We managed to find a good spot right near the door, but you might have to park a few blocks away if it's really busy. We were early for our reservation by 20 min, but seated right away. The interior is very modern, with lots of yellow color that made it very bright and inviting. However, my two major complaints about the restaurant actually has nothing to do with the food. First is that it was very, very loud in there. That building definitely has some acoustics, and if you're looking for a "quiet spot" to have brunch, this definitely isn't it. And my second annoyance came from that there was no type of shade on the windows. We were seated right next to a window and the sun was shining in my face the entire time. The sun literally melted the ice in my soda within 10 minutes, and I requested a refill with no ice. We were served pretty quickly and had a very nice waiter. We ordered the duck bacon tower and the crab ragoons as appetizers. The duck bacon was delicious, with a subtle sweetness to it that wasn't overwhelming. I think in general that I still prefer pork, but I would definitely get this again. But between the two, the crab ragoons were my favorite. They were nice and crispy, served hot, and I loved the sauce on top. It was a perfect blend of a sweet and spicy sauce, not overly going one way or the other, and the filling was delicious. For a drink, I can recommend the strawberry lemon drop martini. Very delicious and bigger than the typical drink you'd get, especially for brunch. For my entree, I tried out the seafood omelette. Let me file a disclaimer that while I love omelettes and order them often, I'd actually never one with seafood before. It was very well made and bursting with seafood and mushrooms. The filling was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. Having said that though, I think the seafood filling would pair better over a pasta rather than with eggs. I personally wouldn't order this again, but only because my personal preference was not to mix the two, but please don't let that discourage you from ordering this and trying it yourself. I would definitely order other omelettes or any of their seafood dishes to try based off of this. Overall I give them 4/5. No negatives on the food, and I will definitely be back again!

Yelp
We woke up one morning just wanting bunch!!! We picked an awesome amazing spot. The look of this place is one of a kind very detail the ceiling the decor is just wonderful. The food was to perfection I had the breakfast burger it was cook well with a sunny side up egg yummy we also order the seafood omelet and the French toast. Our waitress was so amazing and very attentive to us. Didn't like that there wasn't and liquor but the food, service, and atmosphere definitely made up for it...

Yelp
Long wait and way too loud. After waiting 20 min for a seat, we were placed at a high table, near loud music and the restrooms - the worse possible location in any restaurant. Just one of those factors would've been bad enough, but we got all 3, so they didn't start out well. But - I was willing to overlook all of that if the food was up to par....NOPE! Small portions, over priced and under seasoned food - definitely not your typical NOLA place - it's a bit too shi-shi for my taste. Given the severely gentrified neighborhood, they may do ok - but I don't see the locals putting this place on their lists. Tips for the owner: 1. The duck bacon sounds like a good idea but tasted more like turkey bacon, but I'm guessing it's expensive - that's why I was only given two very small pieces. I would go for something more economical like pork or turkey. It's not as fancy, but this way you can give a larger portion to your patrons. 2. Don't be afraid to season your food. The breakfast sausage should taste like a breakfast sausage not like a very small under seasoned meatball. You're in New Orleans for Christ's sake season your food! 3. Turn the music down - you've got an acoustic issue with the high ceilings and natural echo. Music is cool, but it makes everyone in the restaurant shout at each other to be heard. 4. Get rid of that high table near the bathroom or at least replace it with a regular table - that way you eliminate at one of the 3 issues. I really like the concept of this place and I believe it could do well but a fancy menu pretty decor and misinformation created by social media will only get you so far before people realize the King has no clothes. Shout out to the server, the only reason this place is getting two stars and not one, she was terrific! BB
google avatar

Julia V.

Yelp
Amazing service with the cutest design concept from the egg shell "crack" running across the ceiling to the bright yellow chairs. The food was also delicious and magnificent, with particular praise to the Smokin Paris Models--the dish's-rich and salty egg yolk paired with the fattiness of the hollandaise sauce had me daydreaming about European cafes. I also loved the unlimited coffee refills and the server's attention to detail. My friend enjoyed her Mac Daddy Mac as well. My only negative comment would be to say that the food was ice cold, but luckily the temperature of the dish did not take away from the overall dining experience. Overall 7/10 I would definitely come back to try the duck bacon or one of their brunch cocktails. Also shout out to our server Bree, she's amazing and we need more people like her in the world^^

Yelp
The Signature Seafood Omelet was really good. I didn't realize that it was a BYOB establishment so that was a bit disappointing. I sat at the bar and the service was good. It was a bit noisy but the aesthetics was nice. I can see a group of friends having a great time.
google avatar

Ashley V.

Yelp
Came here with my friend for a Monday brunch and it was quite empty, so service was fast. The place itself is so cute and unique -- I love the "cracked" ceiling and the neon sign. We got the chicken and waffles and the mac & cheese with brussel sprouts, and both were delicious and quite filling. My only compliant about the food is that the waffle cone that came with the chicken and waffles was stale and inedible, so I would've just rathered another actual waffle with it. Prices were decent but on the more expensive side.

Yelp
Were it not for a couple of missteps, this would be a 5-star review. I highly recommend, especially for brunch. Food Overall, delicious! Crab Cake Benedict: 10/10; scrumptious! You can choose your style of egg. We chose scrambled. Blue Crab Rangoon: 10/10; light, crispy, real crabmeat, sweet Thai chili sauce Simple Pancakes: 9/10: light, fluffy, but it's mind boggling that they don't carry maple syrup. It's served with pepper-jelly syrup. When the server brought the syrup, I poured it all over my top pancake. I took a bite and got a mouthful of a sour flavor. I thought I was eating kimchi. When asked, the server said it was pepper jelly syrup. Wait, what?!! I ate the rest without syrup. Ask for butter; it's nice and salty. Farmer Platter: 8/10; eggs and hash browns needed salt and pepper, which I added, but were good. The Texas-sized toast was deelish. The sausage had a good flavor, but I didn't care for the bacon. It was hard and didn't have much flavor. My wife preferred the bacon over the sausage, though. Secret Garden: 8/10; it tasted fresh and wasn't overly dressed. My wife thought there was an ingredient that was off putting, though. Old Blue Eyes Palmer: 5/10; I wanted to like this, but it wasn't sweet and it didn't taste like lemonade. Service Our server JB was attentive. We never lacked for anything. When we needed something, he responded quickly. He was also personable. The pancake syrup debacle was the only oversight. Ambiance Beautiful! It's bright and airy. It's decorated beautifully with an assortment of complementary furniture pieces and fixtures. The ceiling, with its LED lighting, must be seen in person to appreciate. It looks nothing like when The Munch Factory inhabited the space.

Yelp
Firstly the Bloody Mary was well crafted and tasted fantastic. I ordered the Seafood, crab & shrimp omelette, Wow! The didn't skimp on the seafood. New to us in the Lower but hopefully here for a long while!

Christina P.

Yelp
Food and cocktails were absolutely amazing! The staff was very kind and valued you being there. This was a great place to go to celebrate the new year while also looking for a place not too densely populated. The location is in a quieter part of NOLA while still being a short drive from Canal st, which my friends and I all really appreciated!

Yelp
Wonderful food, great brunch, yummy cocktails. Great atmosphere, service was on point

Yelp
We were able to join the waitlist on Yelp and secure a spot for brunch here. They are still working out a few kinks but overall we enjoyed ourselves. It was disappointing not being able to order alcoholic beverages due to a lack of liquor license but we survived the meal!! The duck bacon tower was a cute presentation and the bacon was pretty tasty. There was a hint of sweetness that accompanied the smokiness. The crab Rangoon had actual blue crab and tasted delicious! For my meal, I had the Acadian assets (I believe that's the name) and it was amazing!! Poached egg atop brisket and a buttery biscuit, all smothered in a crawfish sauce! I cleaned my plate. Our waitress, Taelor, was very pleasant and actually suggested the entree to me!!
google avatar

Peyton C.

Yelp
Sunday Brunch at Crack'd was a treat! I strongly suggest making a reservation, as the space is quaint and cozy! We started with the Salmon Rösti, which was incredible! I ordered the Acadian Assets, and my sister ordered the Eggs Sardou. Both were delicious, although we finished everything and the portions were on the smaller side for the price. I still think it was a cute place to visit, and I would absolutely go back! They also had an excellent mocktail menu that I would love to try next time!
google avatar

Amanda W.

Yelp
Liked that you can use OpenTable from yelp to get on the waitlist. Specialty cocktails were delicious, especially the coffee martini! The Paris Benedict was delicious & the strawberry pancakes could have served 3! Definitely would recommend!
google avatar

Sandra K.

Yelp
Our first time here and it was terrific. I definitely recommend making a reservation because they are busy on Sundays. The staff were all very accommodating and friendly. Our server was Ann Marie and she made our brunch fantastic! We definitely had to try the bacon tower for its presentation alone! It didn't disappoint! The monkey bread was so soft and delicious! All of the menu items we ordered were great although my friend's Mac and cheese was a bit cold. We brought our own mimosa setup as they currently aren't serving alcohol. If you're not a fan of a loud restaurant, this isn't for you!
google avatar

Brie W.

Yelp
The overall aesthetic here is cute!! Come here for the vibes not the food, lol. The food isn't bad but it's not a staple brunch place that I must have. The steak and eggs were ok. The bottomless mimosas were the star of the show. The service was ok. It wasn't great but it wasn't bad either. If you just want to be cute at brunch this is definitely the place to go.

Yelp
First time here, made reservations through the Yelp app. There were no issues with parking. We walked right in; it was not crowded at all. Decor inside is very cute and vibrant. We were told that alcoholic beverages were not being served and that was just fine with me. Missy was our server. She checked in on us during our meal and had a great attitude. Menu is not overwhelming. We ordered the monkey bread(10/10), farmer platter, and steak & eggs. By the time the food came out, I was full from the bread. The merguez sausage(10/10) was great. The bacon was too thick for me. I would come back just for the sausage and that ooey gooey bread!

Yelp
We went here for brunch on Labor Day. I had high expectations because of the location. It's decorated so cute on the inside. However, they must have been low on staff because service was so slow. And once we did get our food, we had to send both entrees back because they were ice cold. The owner came and apologized and made us both new plates that were much better and tasted very good. The crab rangoon appetizer was good also. However, it will be hard for me to give this place another chance because it didn't wow me for what we paid.

Yelp
Ambiance was excellent. Loved it. Showed up at 8:00am, opening time. Seated right away and we were the only ones there. After listening to everyone's life stories for 7 minutes (yes, was watching clock And yes my husband was ready to walk out door) someone finally came up and introduced himself. After that he gave excellent service. Crab cakes Benedict was amazing. Avocado toast was okay. Bread was a little too thick and chewy. All that being said, I will give them another try when in town because of Benedict and service once we were acknowledged.

Yelp
Super cute and Instagram-worthy decor and aesthetic. I stopped in to grab a quick brunch at the bar and try out this newer spot. The servers seemed spread thin, and it took quite a while to receive both my mimosa and shrimp and grits. The shrimp and grits portion was smaller compared to other dishes I've had in the city, but it was still pretty tasty. I think this spot is definitely promising and worth a try, especially for a fun girls' brunch. Very cute with plenty of opportunities for great photos. I'll have to come back another time for the full brunch experience.

Yelp
The food was fabulous. The consistency of duck bacon is...different and there are no regular bacon options. The place is BEAUTIFUL. There was a bday brunch of not the most well behaved people The head Chef came out and spoke with us and she is BEAUTUFUL...inside and out. The service was NOT BAD. I have a pet leave about dirty dishes being left at ny table especially if you come by repeatedly and leave then but other than that he was sweet, polite, informative.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite new brunches in the city! The decor is so fun! The crack'd roof, the egg shaped tables, the fun yellow color throughout didn't go unnoticed! I came here with a group of about 8 and we sat at the biggest table which was that egg looking table. The service was on the slower side, it took a while to get drink orders in but my biggest complaint would have to be the noise level. This place is just soooo loud; I think this is the loudest restaurant I have been to in while. The owners should consider some yellow curtains or something to muffle some of that sound because I could barely hear my friends sitting across from me. Anyway, on to the food. The food was eggsellent! The duck bacon tower was not only a great presentation but really tasty! I was skeptical because I am not a fan of duck and there isn't much fat for bacon, but these bacon strips are something I will order again and again. Also, the friend chicken and waffle cone! Again, great presentation with an upside down waffle cone, but the flavors were so spot on, maybe it the goat cheese and hot sauce maple glaze that has be dreaming about this dish still! I tried the lemon ricotta pancakes, they were sweet, but good. Also tried the smoked salmon rosti, it was ok, my fav is just that fried chicken! So good! Make reservations because the space is small and this place is super popular. Off street parking as well.

Yelp
We had reservations on a Saturday. The place is so cute, especially the bar area and the on-theme crack in the ceiling and cracks in the lighting. The color scheme is very nice! I had the blood orange mezcal paloma (pictured) and the slow down relax (not pictured) for cocktails. I had been wanting to try shakshuka for a while, and when I saw that Crack'D had it, I had to try it. The flavor was really nice and the spice level set it off. It was a perfect blend of spices and the tomato was not overwhelming.

Yelp
CDB is a wonderful addition to the GD brunch scene. I sat on the sidewalk so my dogs could go along. The ambience inside looked lovely. Even as the lone diners outside, my gf and i were very well served. Not pictured here is the absolutely scrumptious steak and eggs she ordered. My seafood omelette was stupendous. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Overall the experience was great. We made reservations online and were about 10 minutes late and still were able to get seated quickly. This place is BYOB. The food was good. I had the seafood omelette it seems to come with a side salad maybe it was delicious. The place is not that big but it's still enough room for you and your group to enjoy a great brunch.

Yelp
It's giving chic decor, grass walls, and plenty of photo opportunities all around the restaurant. I loved the china used to plate the food. I ordered the Bronzed gulf catch dish with redfish. It was Amazing. Perfectly seared fish with slightly crispy edges topped with a tomato Crawfish sauce and a side of perfectly seasoned Brussels sprouts all atop a bed of white rice. I also enjoyed the bottomless mimosas. The next time I return I have to get an expresso martini and try some of the more breakfast/brunch items but this was $50 well spent. The hostesses were friendly and accommodating. Our server was well informed and checked in on our party of 5 often. We were seated right in the middle of the restaurant near the kitchen door and restrooms. I can't wait to return.
