"Crazee Burger is best known for its exotic wild game burgers with toppings to match, such as elk with port wine and currant jelly reduction and wild boar with red wine-poached pears, mushrooms, bacon, whipped cream and plum jelly. But the more approachable burgers made with fresh black Angus meat or A5 wagyu shouldn’t be overlooked, especially by first-time visitors." - Candice Woo, Helen I. Hwang

We tried a wide selection of the sliders. From ostrich to gator meat. Each slider was unique and had their own combo of jellys and toppings. Unfortunately, I wasn't a big fan of the atmosphere and the sliders didn't sit well with us...

If you’re looking for a truly unique and adventurous dining experience, Crazee Burger is the place to go! I recently tried their alligator, camel, and ostrich burgers, and each one was a culinary adventure in its own right. The alligator burger was a pleasant surprise, with a texture similar to chicken but a slightly richer, more savory flavor. The seasoning complemented the meat perfectly, making it juicy and flavorful. The camel burger was another standout. It had a lean yet tender texture with a mild, almost beef-like taste. It was well-seasoned, and the toppings enhanced its unique flavor without overpowering it. Finally, the ostrich burger was my favorite. It was incredibly tender, with a slightly gamey but delicious flavor. It felt indulgent yet light, thanks to its lean profile, and paired beautifully with the fresh, crisp toppings. Crazee Burger delivers on its promise of bold and exotic options while maintaining great quality and flavor. The atmosphere is casual and fun, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, helping guide you through their adventurous menu. Highly recommend for anyone looking to step out of their comfort zone and try something extraordinary!

Google
Rad place to try some exotic meats on burgers. Each exotic meat has different condiments to complement each exotic meat’s taste, characteristic etc…..who would have known whip cream goes great on a burger!!!!! Try the 3 or 6 piece exotic meat sliders and pick which meat you want. You won’t be disappointed!

Google

Google
Was so fulfilling, definitely felt like it was worth my money. It was empty when we went in for lunch around 3pm got the Aloha Burger 9/10 + sauce tasted more soy sauce but is good with the overall burger + couldn't finish the whole thing, big burger Crazee Fries 10/10 + love it. Would get again Fine Swine with Sweet Potato Fries 9/10 + Very satisfied with my meal +Looks very appetizing and kept full for the whole day +Pulled Pork was juicy and loved the ginger- BBQ sauce - would love some hand wipes available at the table or somewhere it's visible for everyone to grab. The burgers are very saucy so it's all over your hands

Google
The menu looks great, and the Classic signature burger really delivered. All the works and AAA+ burger! The fries, they were ok, we were expecting this place to be something more based on other reviews but that is only my opinion, you should give them a visit and make your own assessment. The Hot dog was decent, but not something I’m ordering again.

If you are looking to support local businesses while always filling a crazy burger craving you’re in the right spot. The owner was super hospitable and took care of us like family. His care translated into the quality of the food and beer! Juicy and well crated, the whole experience was amazing.

Google
Loved the place 😍😍😍 amazing vibe, very well decorated, great service and the food is delicious!! The truffle burger was fresh and mouth watering. And sweet potato fries with onion rings were perfectly seasoned and not greasy. Will be back to try other burgers. Would definitely recommend!!

Yelp
Wallpapered corner lot grabs your attention but distracts from the actual door you need to go through to enjoy it. Fretted at the front counter with a very friendly staff member. I was excited to see a special option for a concoction of meats called the Beast that includes A-5 Wagyu! We ordered and found a bar that half the party sits outside and the other half sits inside. We only had to wait a few minutes to get our food and was able to get some condiments immediately. The beast was a wonderful mix of meats and very flavorful grilled onions. I poured the sauce on each bite to make it extra amazing. Crack of Dawn burger was HUGE, only half was consumed. Nopal burger was juicy but I did get a bitter bite of lettuce stem...yuck. Wed definitely get this creamy burger again. Turkey burger with gluten free bread was fantastic but too many onions. Amazing amount of avocado...an entire half!!!! Fried have a dusting of Parmesan that makes them simply amazing. The owner/cook checked in on us mid-meal to see if we needed anything else. We looked up at him with juices flowing out of our burgers...nah, we're great! I'll be back to fill that punchcard!!!

Yelp
Man, what a disappointment. I ordered the burger sliders and I really feel let down by them. The burgers are alright, but after awhile everything just kind of melds together. Everything tastes fresh, but the burgers have minimal standout over the other. Some of the meat is more gamey, some of it more spicy, some more lean. The real trick here is the bun they use, and some of the toppings they use. At least the burgers are well portioned and look pretty. I also got myself a Mexican Coke to ensure the whole product stayed down, which it did. That certainly helped. I would not come back here again alone, as I felt the whole experience was quite expensive and quite frosty in experience.

Yelp
Great burgers in NP Def coming back again ... Service was friendly and cafe style Ambiance is hole in a wall vibe. Clean and organized.

Yelp
Crazee Burger is just not it.. might be one of the most disappointing burgers I've had. Very underwhelming despite its great potential.

Michael B.

Yelp
I've been to Crazee Burger twice now, and it's definitely a place with potential but with a few drawbacks. The main draw for me is the variety of meats you can try. Literally feels like it has everything! Everything from camel to gator to water buffalo to venison to salmon, to nopal, and other less fancy ones. As someone who loves trying new things, it's the perfect spot for that. The meats themselves are decent. I especially liked the water buffalo, which was flavorful. I've also had the camel (super dry), gator (pretty firm, taste a bit more like fish), and the boar (which tasted like a little bit of beef and pork mixed together). The main downside, though, is the toppings. They're pretty basic. For a place with such unique meat options, I was hoping for more exciting, creative toppings to really elevate the burger. The sauces are fine. The fries were another letdown both times I went. Some of them were seasoned well, but others felt bland since they weren't tossed properly. Service-wise, the staff both times I've been here was a bit on the rude side, which took away from the overall experience. It's not a dealbreaker, but it's worth noting. It wouldn't detract me from coming back again. The seating options were fine...no issues finding a spot with our group of six since it wasn't too busy on a Friday night. There's an outside patio area which we brought our dog the first time. The only real challenge is the parking. It's in a busy area with mostly street parking, so you'll likely have to park a bit far from the restaurant. 1. Because it's in the middle of North Park and with it being residential all around and 2. with all the bars around it starting to get packed when we arrived around 9pm. Overall, it's a cool spot if you're into trying different meats, but there are definitely some areas that could use improvement. I'll definitely give it another shot because there's a ton of other meats that I would want to try here. Your meal will cost about 20 dollars. Not too expensive.

Juzenne C.

Yelp
This place is one of the best restaurants in north park. The service is always fantastic, you can tell they put their heart into their restaurant. The burgers are always a steal with the quality of them, especially the daily specials. Their ranch is so good, equivalent to how good wing stop ranch. They have a great happy hour and the restaurant is always so clean and tidy.

Leslie G.

Yelp
Heard great things and such a great menu. So many exotic choices. I went basic with the Texas Bbq burger and my partner got the elk burger. Both were good but maybe a touch overcooked. So kinda bummed about that. The other flavors were there. Service was great and the place is bigger than it looks. Sit outside and enjoy the weather. Great selection of beers and fun tshirts

Sebastian B.

Yelp
I wish I could eat more! Crazee burger was the best triple D joint on my recent visit to town. The Fine Swine has pulled pork, pork belly and a delicious burger and the comb really ruled. Such a great choice but I wish I could have had a couple different burgers. One is enough for most people. The people there were very helpful and friendly and the atmosphere was fun and totally laid back. I loved it and wish I could go back every day

vanessa c.

Yelp
Came in Saturday evening for dinner You order first then are given a number and find a place to sit, we opted for the outside patio which had plenty if high top chairs and some tables as well Burger are massive, and a bit pricey, but given the portion it is understandable! The crack of dawn was super good, I really enjoyed the hashbrown and opted not to finish my fries which are super crispy and delicious as well They offer plant based patties as well as an option to lettuce wrap that I didn't notice until after we ordered!

Yonnie C.

Yelp
Husband found the place since we were in the area having ice cream at An's Dry Cleaning. Ordered the nacho burger, delicious. Also got the exotic 3 sliders with alligator meat, ostrich meat and bison meat. Gator meat tastes the most gamey.

Sam T.

Yelp
Truly a crazee burger experience. All the exotic meats are worth trying, and I highly recommend the wild boar burger. Personally, after reading that it had whipped cream on it, I was quite skeptical; however, conversing with the cashier convinced me to try it anyway. I am so glad I did as the burger had such an amazing balance between sweet, jammy, and savory notes that made the burger so notable. Although all the other burgers are good, I found nothing to be too memorable besides the wild boar. My friends didn't appreciate the whipped cream, but I did LOL try it!

Faith F.

Yelp
Upon arriving they weren't to busy came around dinner time. Walked up to the counter and placed our order quickly we were able to seat ourselves. The burgers were super good & yummy! Also the burgers were filling and flavorful. Loved the vibe of the restaurant had music playing plenty of seating .

Mikey H.

Yelp
Cako has been coming here since she was a puppy in 2017. Everything is so good! Love their onion rings! My favorite is the Texas with bacon, cheese, and bbq sauce. The staff is always friendly!! Great dog friendly patio! What more do you need? Cako Approves!

Christa C.

Yelp
Crazee Burger is a great chance to try unfamiliar types of meat without traveling outside America's Finest City. I've ordered their exotic slider platter, which are sizable portions, enough for a main entree. Each burger features not only an atypical meat, but also artisanal toppings & sauces that balance the characteristics of the meat. I like that you are able to mix & match sliders, although modifications aren't permitted for the sliders. If you hone in on a burger that you love enough to try the full-sized version, maybe that's the time to start introducing changes. The restaurant has a decent amount of seating (between their bar, dining, and patio areas) but might be tough for larger groups depending on the time of day. No private parking, but lots of residential streets nearby or about a 5-10min walk north from the North Park Parking Garage on 29th St. Crazee Burger is San Diego's spot for unique and delicious burgers. I'm looking forward to my next Venison burger!

Jun-Jun L.

Yelp
I can always count on them to have juicy meat for their signature burger. When I crave a good burger, I like to go local and support them. I haven't had an issue so far with how I want my burger meat cooked and prepared. I also add their crazee fries that are seasoned with parmesan cheese and also air fry them a bit more at home if I get them to-go. I have yet to try their crazee meats, so I'll definitely come back here for sure! Thank you!

Frederick H.

Yelp
I haven't been to this new location, though it's been here for a while; always had good luck with burgers and beer before and this was just as good as ever. Staff was friendly. Restroom was clean and usable. I had the burger loaded with melted bleu cheese, I forget the name, and a hazy IPA. Enjoyed both a lot. Will be back. Good luck finding parking around here in the evenings.

Rheagan K.

Yelp
I love crazee burger!! Their burgers are so delicious. The truffle burger is one of the best burgers I have ever had

Trevor T.

Yelp
I went here after an improv rehearsal on a Saturday around noon and it wasn't packed, but started to fill up. Looked like a mom and her son were running the restaurant and they were so friendly. They ran out of Dr.Pepper and brought a new one to my table which was sweet. You order at the front which is easy. I had a breakfast burger which was MASSIVE. Had a hash brown, thick maple bacon, a runny egg, juicy patty, and all the fixings of a traditional burger with crispy thin fries. They put parmesan on the fries and cheese on the burger, but asked for them to hold those since I'm allergic. They had TVs to watch the games and plenty of seating. They have an outdoor area which is great for people watching along with an all gender bathroom out side. Crazee Burger is right next to Saigon Coffee(which is mega popular) and saw a lot of people grab coffee and then come here to eat. Really cool neighborhood. I think the only thing I would change is the booths were all wood and a little uncomfortable to sit in, but I also have no butt so that might just be a me problem haha.

Yum+Yummer M.

Yelp
Friendly staff, nice open air and indoor seating. Burgers were all tasty. We tried the three sliders: wild boar, antelope and camel. They all tasted pretty similar to beef, not gamey at all. Great toppings on each burger too! I'd definitely eat here again.

Marco V.

Yelp
I got the sliders of exotic meat. Tried pretty much every meat. The tasted fine, nothing to exciting. A regular burger joint would done just fine in comparison. Service was good but I was not impressed by the sliders

Nick Y.

Yelp
I had a real good burger from here over the weekend. The Texas Burger (with an extra patty) was delicious. Thick slices of bacon were good, but I thought they could have been cooked a little more. The burger came with all the fixings and a healthy layer of BBQ sauce. The patty was bomb packed with flavor. I'm very excited to be coming back to try one of the more exotic meats. I was told that the camel is very popular if you are wanting to try something exotic. Their fries are also very good. We ordered a side of 1/2 regular 1/2 sweet potato. Thing and crispy fries. They had a good size beer selection with some of my favorites. For reference, I paid just over $50 for two burgers, two beers, and a side of fries. IMO burgers should ALWAYS come with fries. I'll definitely be back and am looking forward to trying one of the exotic meats!

Karen N.

Yelp
This is the place to come if you love exotic meats! This is probably the only place to come in San Diego if you want to try Ostrich, Water Buffalo, Antelope, or Camel. They also have A5 Wagyu, Elk, and Buffalo (which is maybe Bison?) . They must not have kangaroo, which I had gotten from them years ago. The Camel came with a slightly spicy Moroccan hollandaise sauce, and the usual lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles (no tomato please!). Camel meat is very lean, and a fine texture. I ordered medium, because the staff member felt that it would be too mushy if it was cooked med rare. It was delicious, and my friend enjoyed her Santorini burger as well. She also enjoyed her Nutella Mocha shake. All of their shakes are made with McConnell's Ice Cream, which is based in the Central Coast. It's one of the best premium ice creams in California. Keep an eye on their daily specials, which add a drink and fries to a specific burger for just a few dollars more. They also have HH specials from 3:10 to 6:19, lol. It's North Park, so you're on your own for parking. Just be prepared to walk some blocks if it's a busy time of day. It's worth it, so get your steps in!

Max G.

Yelp
We stumbled across Crazee Burger on our way back home after a week-long trip to SD. Our order: -Triple wagyu burger with bacon, pastrami, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and onion strings. -Crack of Dawn -3 sliders Gator, Elk, Venison EVERYTHING was absolutely exceptional. Believe it or not, the sliders and wagyu burger were just for me, and I left maybe 1 bite of the burger left. Don't come here if you're looking for a cheap meal. If you want quality and taste, come here. No complaints about our price tag as I made modifications to the meal. Worth every damn penny! Crazee Burger has earned a review out of me, and we'll definitely be back!! Thanks for the great meal!! Until the next time!

Anita S.

Yelp
Burgers were far from "crazee" and actually they were completely tasteless. The "fresh" onions were clearly cut days ago, burger pattie had zero taste, and the burger was dominated by the pickles which tasted kind of gross. We got the mixed fries and onion rings as a side and the fries were soggy while the onion rings were burnt so bad i couldn't eat them. We decided to try this place out after seeing them on the Guy Fieri show and we couldn't be more disappointed in this place. I read that the original owners sold to a new guy a couple years ago so I'm assuming that's when the quality collapsed. Big bummer and won't be going back because we spent more than $40 on a terrible meal. Seriously, the pepsi was the best thing about the meal.

Nancy I.

Yelp
Burger choices for everyone - even for your vegan friends. Want to try an exotic meat for under $20 - they have Boar, Alligator, Camel, Ostrich, and several others. The Wagyu will set you back a little more and they have an extensive beer menu will also put you over the budget. I would be remiss if I did not mention the sauces... each of the burgers seems to have their own special sauce. Parking is harsh, but to be expected in North Park. Decor is cute with beer keg stools. Patio dining available because it is in Sun Diego! Staff seemed friendly enough to make me want to come back.

Sharon L.

Yelp
Solid burger. Friendly staff. Great vibes. A variety of seating options (indoor, outdoor, bar, booth, etc.) Love that they are dog friendly. We came here with our 6 month old puppy and it was a great spot! Large menu with lots of fun options as well as exotic meats. We also got the "frings" (half fries and half onion rings) and thought the onion rings were delicious!

Gabriela E.

Yelp
Solid burger spot. I got the regular cheese burger which was good. The crazee burgers were intimidating to me but they have tons of options! They have a slider selection if you want to try some of the exotic meats which is a good choice. Yummy fries and onion rings. Cool spot with a patio when it's sunny out!

Yelp
JAMAICAN ME CRAZEE ! Without a doubt the best burgers we've had in America. My wife and I were down in San Diego for a fun packed weekend...Padres game on Friday night and Stray Cats concert at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park on Saturday night. We were staying at a Marriott hotel handy to all the action. At 4.30pm on Saturday our pre-booked Lyft ride took us to Crazee Burger. We would much rather eat top quality food here than pay stupid prices for average no name stuff at the concert venue. It was a little quiet when we walked inside around 4.45pm. A guy we know as Chef Conor helped me at the cashier counter when I ordered our dinner...1 x Jamaican Burger ( 6 oz Cajun blackened patty, sautéed peaches, pepper jack, lettuce, pickle, tomato & onion ), 1 x Dansk Burger ( 6 oz beef patty, blue cheese crumbles, lettuce, pickle, tomato & onion ) and a side of Sidewinder Fries ( Thick spiral fry meets curly fry ). I asked what hazy IPA's they had on tap and was told Bay City Brewing "Jucci Gang" was a good one....in fact it was an 8.5% abv hazy double IPA. I paid upfront and Chef Conor handed me a glass of ice cold beer & table no 33. We sat at a table against the wall facing towards the bar. WOW ! I have to say my Bay City Brewing "Jucci Gang" Hazy DIPA tasted as good as gets.....rich orange flavor and very juicy. The place was gettin' busy fast while we waited for our dinner order. WHAM BAM ! Chef Conor ( also the co-owner ) brought everything out to our table....a very polite man. DANG ! I had the Jamaican Burger last time we were here...and I had to have it again. Who would have thought of whacking peaches on a burger ! And my wife was a repeater with her Dansk Burger....loves blue cheese. YEAH BABY ! Eat those sidewinder fries while they're hot...too delicious for words with our dipping sauces Lemon & Chive Aioli plus Nacho Cheese. My Jamaican Burger knocked it clean outa the ball park...I loved it to death ! We kinda took our time finishin' up...hardly a sidewinder fry left and I drained my delicious hazy DIPA to the last drop. Chef Conor dropped over to check that we were happy with everything...yes indeed. Just before 6pm we headed out the front door to meet up with our pre-booked Lyft ride to take us to the Stray Cats concert at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park. There are heaps of burger joints but there is only one Crazee Burger. COME AND GET IT ! CHECK OUT - my video of our fabulous dinner at https://youtu.be/uUNjX-R9qTo NOTE - Of course with 20 million views of my Yelp reviews and pics world wide in 2023 I can tell you what is great !

Ryan F.

Yelp
I have not been to this place in person so I cannot speak on the ambiance or service since the couple of times I have tried this place I got it from Uber Eats. What I can speak for is the quality of food. Not only can you let your adventurous side out with the many different options that they offer but everything that my family and I have tried do far has been great! The only reason I have not given this place a 5 is because I want to save that for when I go there in person eventually.

Lauren B.

Yelp
Delivery Review: Walk by this place very often, but have never tried it. Uber Eats had high reviews just like Yelp. You know you see it cause of its colorful exterior and plenty of outdoor seating. We ordered two burgers and sidewinders/crazee fries. They do their burgers well. Signature burger was plain and I didn't realize it didn't come with cheese. Luckily, we had a slice of cheddar and just added it. Great seasoning with the patty. Also ordered the Chubby Charlie which was so dang messy to eat. But it was worth it. Ate half of that and was full. Both burgers came with lettuce, lots of onions, tomato, and pickles. Sadly, the highly reviewed crazee fries had no Parmesan on them so that was a little disappointing. The sidewinders were good, but not a replacement for a curly fry if that's what you're craving. I ordered a side of ranch and regret it. There was no flavor and I couldn't understand what it tasted like. It wasn't pure mayo but it did not taste good. The horseradish was for the CC burger which was good. They also provided 3 extra sauces. Nacho cheese, can't go wrong there and two containers of this brown/gray sauce that tasted like salad dressing. I don't know if that was put in our bag by mistake. It tasted good, but was just confused on what it was supposed to be used for. Other than that, food came fast and was still warm. Packaged nicely and they gave a lot of napkins and condiments - packets of may, ketchup, mustard, and relish. Would go back but in person to try other burgers and hopefully get some parm on the fries.

Risto K.

Yelp
Fabulous and unusual burger joint in North Park area of San Diego!!! Located on the street corner this beer plus burger restaurant has it almost all! Good location, great menu, delicious food, and lots of beers on tap!!! Crazee Burger is known obviously for its burgers!!! Besides the many choices of regular burgers, exotic fare burgers are what they are known for: boar, camel, alligator, ostrich etc etc.... Service is typical order at the counter, and ambiance of a bar or a fast food restaurant with non generic interior!! Burgers are hands down awesome!!! The only complaint I have is with service. After ordering double patty alligator burger for almost $30 I asked if there is a proof that it is indeed an alligator and not something else. I was told, there is no proof and if I don't like it to leave....well I stayed but still...why ruin a fabulous dinning experience with bad customer service...

Brian D.

Yelp
Not very often you are eating a burger with whipped cream on it but it was really good! The combo of wine poached pears with the burger was really good. The burgers are pretty big and they have a good happy hour deal. Grab a beer and some frings and you'll be set!

Robert J.

Yelp
Went in for lunch for 2. I had the Texas Burger, she had their standard burger, we shared fries and rings. I had the biggest beer they poured and she shared her chocolate oreo milkshake. Good quality product. Everything seemed fresh and well made. Missed opportunities with service but not a big deal. Got the missing items eventually. Food was deelish.

Allie D.

Yelp
Crazee Burger in North Park lives up to its name! It has a very interesting and fun menu. I was able to try the Crack of Dawn Burger. This bad boy boasts a juicy patty stacked with hash browns, a fried egg, and some crispy maple bacon. This burger was delicious, messy, and worth every bite! All the burgers were huge as well, so bring your appetite! The atmosphere is very laid-back and friendly. It's a great spot to grab a casual bite with friends or family.

Eileen C.

Yelp
So today I saw this place on Facebook and the menu was quite appealing. I traveled the 15 minutes down the mountain. Food and service was terrific and what a great experience! We had the exotic slider platter of six burgers that I have never experienced in my life; now completed the bucket list things of foods I never had! OSTRICH, ANTELOPE, CAMEL, WATER BUFFALO, BOAR, ELK. We topped it off with a bowl of french fries that are hard to beat.! Parking though leaves so much to be desired. We found a space eight blocks away.

Shannon R.

Yelp
What kind of Caesar salad doesn't have cheese on it, way over priced for super cheap ingredients. Burger was a disappointment as well. 1st & last time there. Service was also really slow.

Amy D.

Yelp
There are not too many places you can go to find ostrich, water buffalo, alligator and many more exotic meats on the menu. Not to mention a huge assortment of toppings. Service: outstanding, very friendly, accommodating for those with specific dietary restrictions (a gluten free bun that literally looked exactly like a normal bun). Product: delicious, super fresh toppings like lettuce tomato pickle and whatever else you could possibly dream of. Price: a slam dunk - super reasonable. Portion sizes are very generous. Everything is fresh. Highly recommend a stop next time you are in North Park! This place is off the rails!!! Advice: if you want it, just ask them! They have everything you could imagine from hot sauce to ranch and fry sauce.

Leland S.

Yelp
Lunchtime! Their eclectic design caught my attention. Here was my experience. AMBIANCE: Parking: Welcome to North Park! Parking is a bit rough so I recommend public transportation or carpooling. Other than that, there's metered parking, neighborhood parking or a parking structure. Seating: Inside seating and outside patio seating. Room for about 50 people. Vibes: North Park is great! Plenty of eateries and things to do (barcade, study, farmer's market on Thursdays). The place itself is quite a site. It's quite the eclectic place as decorations ranged from kegs to a wall of gas masks. I dig the throwback 80s music and funk music in the background. If you're a sports person, they have a few televisions playing if you want to watch a game. It's a nice well-rounded place welcoming families to foodies. FOOD: Nopal Burger (Recommend) Nopal is a cactus if you're wondering. It reminds me of all the elements of the southwest from the queso fresco, avocado, Mexican crema, raw onions, homemade green tomatillo, a griled nopal patty, and charred Angus beef. I dig the spice and the savory flavors. Complemented with fries and you're in for a wholesome meal and what's cool is that you have the choice to mix and match. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Great! Friendly people and quick service TL; DR OVERALL: 4.5 Stars. Awesome! I had a great time here. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. I'd come back here to try out more of their menu! TIPS: * Check out their specials and unique meats! * The got Cholula, Tobasco, and Tapatio! * They got vegan options!

Chris S.

Yelp
This place is my go to for a turkey burger, however with that being said all options on the menu are glorious. They have good beer as well. Sometimes have a rotating tap which is nice to have. The process of ordering is walk up to counter and get a number very efficient service. It is conveniently located at the beginning of your pub crawl if you so choose to start and work southward to the other great drinking spots!

Yelp
Very disappointing & dry burgers, the fries were just as underwhelming. Overpriced for what it is

Yelp
Amazing burgers for lovers of exotic meats in a comfy food form. 1,000% recommend. The camel is delicious ... Then again so is the elk and buffalo. I'm a fan of everything they've got on the menu. If you're looking to maximize your experience then opt for the exotic slider platter. Service is exceptional and friendly. Food comes out fast and hot. The atmosphere is chill and casual.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I tried this place for the first time over the weekend. He got the A5 wagyu burger and I ordered the Venison burger. Both were very juicy and tender! I thought the fries were a bit too salty and their onion rings were just ok-- nothing too special. I would definitely come back to try some of their other burgers in the future. The atmosphere is very laid back-- perfect for happy hour! Parking can be very challenging so just be prepared for a bit of walking.

Yelp
I had the signature burger with Swiss cheese and sidewinder fries. The burger was good. Ingredients were fresh and tasty. But it was lacking a little bit in flavor. To address that I ordered a few extra sides of sauce. The diablo was quite spicy but did the job. The tzatziki I think was the other sauce I got and that was also good. They also gave me a side of nacho cheese for free but personally that's not my thing so I didn't try it with my burger. The sidewinder fries which are pretty much curly potato wedges were definitely some of the best fries I have had in San Diego. Very unique and well executed. One criticism- with so many different meat options here I am surprised that they don't offer anything halal. Unfortunately some of my friends missed out on eating here because of that. Service and ambiance were typical of a casual restaurant in North Park. I'd come back!

Yelp
I got fry and onion ring. The onion rings did NOT taste or look homemade. That was misleading. I tasted 0 Parmesan in the fries. just oily In a bad way. I was Encinitas AleHouse Saturday. Parmesan fries had Parmesan flakes and were delicious. I don't recommend eating here Th environment is cool but quality was terrible and portions very small I don't like leaving negative reviews. This place needs better management in my opinion.

Yelp
I have been here a few times as I live close by and it's a great place! However, the burgers are a hit or miss for me, especially when looking at the exotic meat burgers. My favorite from their regular burgers is the Nopal Burger. I just think it's packed with flavor, but it's not overwhelming whatsoever. As for the exotic meat burgers, so far I have tried five of them: Camel, Ostrich, Alligator, Venison and Wild Boar. I really liked the venison and wild boar. The ostrich wasn't bad, but I wouldn't order that on a regular basis. I didn't like the camel or alligator pretty much at all as they were kind of bland. However, I am still planning on trying more of the exotic meats. I really don't like their sweet potato fries. I have gotten them a couple times and they are always really soft and the flavor is weird. However, I love their regular fries! Whatever seasoning they use is perfect. The onion rings are okay. Not terrible, but not something I would order more than the one time I tried them. I really like this place and will definitely continue coming back over and over again.

Yelp
Tried some interesting meats here. The camel was my favorite. The ostrich and wild boar weren't bad either. Each burger comes with a unique sauce. There is a nice patio with a great view for people watching. Good fries and onion rings. Decent beer selection. Would recommend! Don't fear the strange meats!

Yelp
Food could easily earn this place at least 4 stars on their best day but so far, both of my experiences were poor. I went in for the first time last Thursday, 8/22/24, around 5p. I was about 10 min away and was in a rush so decided to call in and order. The employee answered right away and placed me on hold, which is okay of course, if they're actually busy. I was on hold for over 10 minutes at which point I had arrived at the restaurant and was still on hold. I decided to walk in and see how busy they were only to realize two things upon walking in: 1 - there were maybe 3-4 people inside max 2 - the phone was just laying there on the counter with me still on hold. I get greeted by a gentleman behind the counter who was just hanging out in the back and when I asked him about being placed on hold it seems that he simply just forgot that I was on the phone. Super irritating since I was in a hurry and because they weren't busy at all. I ordered two signature burgers well done and they came out decent so I decided to give them another chance. Just today, 8/26/24, around 2:30p, I called to place my order in advance and that process was seamless. I picked up my food and once I got back to work I realized one of the buns was burned very badly and I had to tear away chunks of the top bun because it was too bitter to eat. I've never in my entire life been placed on hold and was forgotten about, even at the busiest restaurants and the fact that they burned my bun this badly on the second visit and decided to just serve it anyway is ridiculous. I eat burgers weekly and love trying new places but this place still has a lot to figure out and needs to hire more attentive employees that don't have their heads up their ass. Gave you guys two chances already and won't be giving you a third. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place for regular visits but it's worth trying at least once. Burgers are good, but nothing special and not worth dealing with the type of employees that are currently there and definitely not worth dealing with the almost nonexistent parking.
