Best Restaurants in Dripping Springs, Texas | Eater Austin

"This barbecue trailer run by pitmaster Marcus McNac is known for its pork dishes, including pork belly and rib tips, and a fantastic tomahawk steak, which must be preordered. Try to save room for the frozen margarita pie, a refreshing treat to have in the outdoor food area where the trailer is parked. It offers online orders for takeaway. Inside the Deep Eddy Vodka tasting room, which is as barren and full of concrete and brewing tanks as any brewery, sign up for vodka tastings and order all the cocktails with its flavored spirits your heart desires. The spicy pineapple margarita is always a hit, and the Deep Eddy Fuzzy Navel is effervescent and refreshing." - Erin Russell

10 Black-Owned Barbecue Spots In Austin

"Crimson Creek is a barbecue trailer at the Deep Eddy Tasting Room out in Dripping Springs, and is probably most famous for its massive, smoked tomahawk steak. If you want one of those, you’ll need to place an order a day in advance, but the rest of the menu features mostly classic barbecue staples—like brisket, ribs, and sausage—and you can also get a whole smoked salmon filet and create your own surf-and-turf experience. " - nicolai mccrary

Crimson Creek catered a rehearsal dinner at Deep Eddy for 100 people. Food and service outstanding. Guests raved about the 3 meats, sides, queso and poppers. Owner Jamie was on site all night leading the service. Could not have been easier to work with from planning to execution. Great food. Great people. Bonus breakfast tacos delivered to wedding hotels early Sunday-huge hit for departing guests.

Google
Their food truck was out front at the Deep Eddy Vodka Distillery. We ordered a flight of vodka and desperately needed some food. We used their QR code at the Deep Eddy Distillery and within 10 mins we had our food. We ordered the chips and queso with shredded beef brisket. The chips were fresh and crispy tasting, an 8.5/10.. The best part was the queso. Instead of meat being sprinkled on top like most other places, it was full of beef brisket.

Oh lord!!! I’ll tell you what!! The Tomahawk Steak from Crimson Smokehouse is one of the best I’ve ever had!!! It is a massive stake for more than one person but you can do it if you love steak like I do!! The atmosphere is amazing and just so much fun!! Jamie, Marcus , and Little Smoke are just amazing and so friendly!! Just call 24 hours ahead of time to get your name on one of these monsters!!

Crimson Creek catered our wedding in Dripping Springs, and let me tell you just how AMAZING Jamie and her team are! First off, we wanted good food! There is nothing worse than going to a wedding with bad food, and we wanted to make sure our guests didn’t leave hungry. To this day, we still get compliments about how incredible our wedding food was—from the BBQ meats (the pork butt ends are literally the best!) to the mac and cheese to the pickles. It was phenomenal! Second, our next biggest concern was cost, and Jamie came in with the most reasonable budget out of all the caterers we spoke to in the area. She laid everything out for us and explained all the details clearly. Third, they had VEGGIE OPTIONS! A lot of the BBQ places we spoke to didn’t offer many veggie options or salads, and we really wanted to make sure all our guests could enjoy dinner. Jamie made it easy by providing great alternatives that even our meat-loving friends enjoyed. Fourth, Jamie and her staff were SO professional, great to work with, and went above and beyond with setup and cleanup. Our other wedding vendors had nothing but amazing things to say about them, and I’d hire them again in a heartbeat if I had to do it all over again. Fifth, everyone left full, AND we had leftovers! The Crimson Creek team packed everything up for us so we could snack on it after the wedding and in the days that followed—which we LOVED. We can’t thank Jamie and the Crimson Creek team enough for their incredible catering, and we love that we can visit their brick-and-mortar location to relive our wedding dinner anytime we're in the area!

Google
Not sure why this place is even open. Can’t order food on the website that says “order now”. You show up and there are 2 disgruntled employees that literally wish you weren’t bothering them. They have 2 meat options that are clearly just yesterday’s leftovers. Everything else is “sold out” even though you are there within 45 minutes of them opening and there isn’t another person to be found around the place. The food is lukewarm warm at best. Somehow takes them 20 minutes to put 2 pounds of meat and 1 side in some cardboard boxes. First and last at this place for sure. Disgrace for bbq in dripping springs.

Google
Attended the “smoke em if you got em” class hosted by Marcus from Crimson Creek at Deep Eddy Tasting Room. Marcus is simply amazing. Our smoked ribeyes were the BEST steak I have ever had.

Google
I received some jalapeño cheddar sausage as a gift from relatives in Austin. It had fantastic favor and just the right amount of heat. The next time I’m in TX a stop at Crimson Creek Smokehouse will be at the top of the must do list.

My Husband and I are all about looking for the most delicious, unique and standout food…especially when you eat and love as much food as we do! We had seen Crimson Creek Smoke house on IG for quite sometime and what caught our eye about them was their Smoked 3lb Tomahawk Steak. You don’t often see a tomahawk that big, let alone smoked for at least 5 hours! Because they smoke it, you do have to order it a minimum 24 hours in advanced so that they can prep this baby for your arrival! We had been messaging with one of the super amazing owners, Jamie, who wanted to ensure that we had the best experience possible when we arrived! They are located in a food truck area, but have outfitted the outside with picnic tables, televisions, lights, paper towels, a hand washing station and everything you need to be able to enjoy some fresh bbq right on sight! The pit master Marcus, ensured that the steak was ready and smoked perfectly on our arrival so that he could sear it on the grill and finish it right in front of us to watch it in action, which was so cool! Wow…most steak houses when they talk about meat pounds it’s usually the uncooked weight they are talking about, but this thing was a good 3 plus pounds cooked!! He makes his own seasoning rub that really enhanced the natural flavor of the meat and complimented the wonderful smoke flavor. This beast was perfectly cooked and so juicy, plus it had the perfect thickness giving it an incredible seasoning to meat flavor ratio! We also got their pork belly burnt ends… WOW!!! They legit squirted and melted in your mouth! Probably some of the best we’ve ever had in all our food experiences! Their rib tips were flavor and juicy. The bowls had the perfect flavor pairings of different meats and side items, plus were also massive! Even the Mac n cheese was unique and had more of a “Texas queso” cheese twist flavoring that was delicious! They had mini pies for dessert cause you know always have a dessert stomach! We LOVED the margarita pie! It was like a key lime pie with a hit of salt and margarita twist! Do yourself a favor and take a trip to Crimson! Be sure to place your order at least 24 hours in advanced for the Smoked Tomahawk and bring friends to share it with cause you are going to be mind blown and want to order the whole damn menu! Seriously delicious BBQ and Incredible owners and staff behind it!

Yelp
Yes yes, a thousand times yes! First of all, the people who work here could NOT have been nicer. They were totally charming. Now the food....oh the food. First, if the daily special is the smoked salmon dip ORDER IT! It was a 10/10! The brisket and pulled pork were also very good but the pork burnt ends were next level...I mean like 11/10. Also, the pulled pork baked potato was an epic event not to be missed but you'll need a small army to eat it. Definitely try this place out. You won't regret it.

Yelp
Already disappointed with how bad the BBQ has been in Austin I decided to give another place a go & I thought it could get any worse... so I thought. - Brisket & Jalapeno Sausage with Mac & cheese 1/5: By far the worst BBQ I've had in a while & was shocked how this place had way too many 5 star reviews. The brisket was kind of cold & it was SOOOO DRY it also did not have any good flavor with it. Just shocked as to what I ate, I tried the jalapeno sausage at least that was warm & it tasted pretty good but not enough to save this plate. The mac & cheese was simply a disgrace to Macaroni & Cheese..... literally had no cheese???? I was literally eating dried shells with a hint of cheese sauce. What a joke if you called that Mac & Cheese, like come on man.....

Yelp
Stopped by for a brisket sandwich and a baked potato topped with pulled pork. Both dishes were scrumptious and seasoned to perfection. The place has a cool vibe, resembling a revamped food truck parked next to a vodka distillery that also sells some merch. Generous portions and the friendliest staff you could ask for. Plus, scored some free stickers! Highly recommend!

Todd T.

Yelp
Staff was very friendly on all visits and the food was exceptional. I would recommend to anyone and if you like near, give the tomahawk a try, you need to order it a day in advance.

Jon U.

Yelp
Great pork belly burnt ends!!! Best I've had! Great people taking the orders as well. The woman gave an extra helping of brisket just out of kindness. Would eat here again 10/10

Yelp
If you haven't been to Crimson Creek BBQ, do yourself a favor and GO! They smoke all their own meats to perfection - and speaking of perfection, if you're a red meat eater and love a good Tomahawk steak, you'll never get one any better - wherever you go. Their ribs are delicious and meaty, their pit beans and mac and cheese I can't say enough good about. Couple all this good food with the amazing Pitmaster, Marcus and his 'service' master, Jaime and you've got the perfect recipe for good eating! Do yourself solid and get to Crimson Creek any Friday-Sunday. Check their website for hours and pre-ordering.

Yelp
Austin has no shortages of BBQ destinations, but if you're looking for a pure winner to add as your go-to for all things BBQ the Crimson Creek Smokehouse is it! The Pitmaster, Marcus has spent years honing his craft...featured in many local publications - his BBQ does not disappoint & will leave you wondering where this deliciousness has been all your life. Nestled on the SouthWestern part of Austin (technically Dripping Springs), Crimson Creek smokehouse is located in a food truck court & has ample outdoor seating. Their spare ribs looked fantastic, were super meaty & tasted even better - clean bite, great flavor & cooked to perfection! We ordered a full rack of ribs to make sure there was enough...to share a little. The Mac-n-cheese, made by The Pitmaster's wife, Jamie, was super cheesy, creamy and the smoky flavor gave it a unique twist that made me want just one more bite! My friend ordered the pulled pork sandwich, the meat was piled high with some tangy onions & pickles & let me grab a few bites. I added some to the bbq pork to my smoked Mac-n-Cheese...it was a manna from heaven, my little make-shift version of their "Mac-n-cheese bowl". I also poached a few bites of my other friends cornbread bowl - oh my!!! The cornbread was piled high with BBQ pulled chicken, beans... this is one I will definitely order for myself the next time! Making sure to leave a bit of room for dessert, I had the coconut custard mini-pie. The pie, homemade & not mass produced with preservatives, had toasted coconut flakes throughout the sweet custard personal sized pie (order one for yourself - it's hard to share this one)... next time I'll finish off this spectacular meal with either the mini frozen margarita pie, deep eddys lemon vodka pound cakes or maybe a coconut custard pie repeat- yummmmm! If you make a plan to visit, make sure you get there well before 2...or run the risk of some options being sold-out. While we were sitting there, several people left with sad faces when faced with the "sold-out" sign.

Yelp
THIS is what BBQ should be. Great smoke, excellent cuts, premium sauce and gracious service. These people are so much better than all the "big name" outfits in and around Austin. You REALLY need to try them out. From pulled pork to baby-backs to brisket to Tomahawk Steaks, Crimson Creek never disappoints.

Yelp
Legit bbq, don't let the food truck deter you. Probably some of the best BBQ I've had (and there is a LOT in Texas.) Pork belly burnt ends are worth their weight in gold and the queso mac was heavenly. Excellent combination with the Deep Eddy Vodka tasting room. Makes for a fun afternoon of great food and beverages.

Yelp
Crimson Creek smokehouse is worth going out of your way for... This is a hidden gem in dripping Springs Texas their specialty is pork and they've got some of the best burnt ends in the whole state

Yelp
Pork Ribs and Pork burnt ends were awesome. Best I've had in the dripping springs area.

Yelp
As proud Texans, my wife & I LOVED THE BBQ. As bbq experts we look towards the rub, tenderness, juiciness, and the smokiness!!! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Sausage, rip tips, pork belly, brisket, and obviously the Mac & cheese! Oh trust us on their bbq sauce, you'll forget about forks! The hospitality is so great they add bread, pickles, pickled onions, and jalapeños to tie it all up. Instead of having to worry about it like in other places. This joint sets the standard for bbq, not only the quality of food but the service Jamie provided; super friendly & welcoming! You don't get that loosing brain cells feeling while going to a new joint. As Texas heat has everyone scorching Deep Eddys is right across to to cool off. Highly suggest it. Hands down as the best BBQ in ATX.

Yelp
Have you ever had Oklahoma-style BBQ? I recently visited Crimson Creek and it's actually a bit different than Texas-style BBQ in that it's mainly based around pork. What?! No brisket? Don't worry because rest assured, you will be okay! I got: - Baby Back Ribs: different from spare ribs in that they're thinner in size and they're leaner and more meaty since the bones are smaller. I have a personal preference towards the fatty spare ribs myself, but these were still good! Chewy outside, yet comes off the bone easy! ($19.95 for a half slab) - 4/5 - Pork Belly Burnt Ends: This spicy, savory, melty, chewy goodness was my favorite item!!! Amazing flavors of honey, pecan, and brown sugar. ($12.99) - 4.75/5 - Rib Tips: this is the result you get when you trim the ribs. It's a fun snack like the burnt ends above, but rather than being fatty and tender, this is more meaty and chewy - almost like a jerky consistency. ($9.95/lb) - 4.25/5 - The Bowl: a bed of smoked queso mac topped with pulled pork, BBQ pit beans, pickled onions, and pickles. Honestly in my opinion if you are going to get some sides, I would just get this instead because you get a great mix of various flavors! ($15) - 4.25/5 - Margarita Pie: a scratch baked tequila and TripleSec whipped into lime mousse and frozen in a salty pretzel crust. Loved the refreshingness of this! A contrast to the food above. ($5) - 4.75/5 All in all, this is a must-try for any BBQ fan! They smoke most of their meats in pecan which adds a fun kick with each bite. It can be a slight drive down South, but it's worth it. Trust me. The service is very kind as well. With that said, I give them an 4.25/5 for having some great and some amazing qualities!

Yelp
Marcus McNac and team provided and outstanding BBQ spread on Friday 7/21/23 at a Team lunch. The Spread included a variety of every BBQ offering (Sliced Brisket, Pulled Pork, Spare Ribs, Burnt Ends, Smoked Turkey, and Sausage) that an exceptional BBQ event could possibly offer. Additional Side were (beans, Mac-n-cheese, slaw, pickles, onions and fantastic bread) plentiful and fantastic. If this weren't enough, Marcus delighted us all with individual pies for dessert. The hospitality was fantastic and the food was outstanding. Enjoying BBQ along side the tranquility of Deep Eddy Vodka makes for a fantastic way to kick off a Friday in the Texas Hill Country. Thanks Deep Eddy Vodka and Crimson Creek BBQ for making my team event a great success.

Yelp
I came here after a long day of work and no lunch break because David Douglas on TikTok recommended this place. I ordered the pulled pork nachos to go, they stated they will put the queso on the side since I was ordering it to go. Granted it was 4 PM when they close at five I pulled over two minutes later to eat them and unfortunately everything was cold like thrown on top of the nachos, cold beans, shredded cheese that did not melt, & old cold pulled pork, and luke warm queso. I'm just thinking for $20 You could use a crème brûlée torch to heat everything up on the nacho plate even for a to go order to make it seem like a real nacho plate instead of everything thrown together with no effort., just disappointing.

Yelp
AMAZING! Where do I start? It has definitely been a while since I came across DELICIOUS FOOD, and amazing people. We made the drive from SA just to get the RIB Tips, but also splurged on the Tomahawk steak. The rib tips have got too be some of the BEST I have ever had. They were soft, sweet, and smoked to perfection. They literally melt in your mouth. They were so good they didn't even need the BBQ sauce. The sauce was delicious by the way! The baked beans SO GOOD! The tomahawk, we ordered medium well, it was still juicy, buttery and full of flavor. It is served with duck butter on the side. When I dipped it in the duck butter I can't explain it, I just know it was delicious with and without the butter. My sister in law dipped it in the BBQ sauce and LOVED IT! The day was perfect. There is seating outside, the scenery is beautiful. Highly recommend and they get a 10/10. If I could give them 100 stars I would. Thank you Janie and Marcus for being amazing and making our 1st time there so memorable. We look forward to seeing y'all again! Y'all get those RIB TIPS! They finally made it to TEXAS and my heart is singing. Tip: If your going to get the Tomahawk make sure you order it 24 hours in advance. It feeds 2-3 people.

Yelp
This place is absolutely fantastic! The owners are terrific and the food to die for. Their pork belly burnt ends are incredible!

Yelp
Flavorless slaw. Great ribs and belly. Outdoor seating was perfect . Quick service. They did not have brisket ready at 11. Pretty decent.

Yelp
Good Oklahoma-style BBQ. The pork belly burnt ends are just melt in your mouth good. The spare ribs are my next favorites.

Yelp
Doing my bachelor party in Austin and came across this gem. Before I get to the food, let me just say that the folks who work this truck are AWESOME. Jamie the owner spotted us as a bachelor party and came out to say hi after we ordered (never told her we were a bachelor party!). She gave me a hat and an apple bourbon pie as a gift! Southern hospitality is real yall. For the order, we just said that we had a group of 9 and wanted to try everything. They created two platters for us that had everything on their menu (minus the sandwich bc who cares about bread when we trying to bbq??). Should have taken pictures of the food but we were hungry. This is Oklahoma BBQ so that means it is all pork and a bit of spiciness (I like spicy!). Everything was great, but the BEST item was the burnt ends pork belly. The char made it crunchy, the sauce is sweet, and being pork belly, it was rich. We also got pork ribs, chicken, rib tips, sausage, Mac and cheese, Cole slaw, beans, cornbread, and an apple bourbon pie. Everything was good, but the pork belly was definitely my favorite! Great people and great food! Outdoor seating on picnic tables since this is a food truck. Plenty of parking.
google avatar

Yelp
Best burnt ends we've ever had. Get there early they sell out fast. I guess that speaks about how good it is.

Yelp
I've wanted to stop by this place for a while and my schedule hasn't aligned with their "open" hours. I ordered a couple of ribs and two orders of pork burnt ends. The ribs are good. Really good! The problem is, the burnt ends stole the show! Actually, the Star of the show. No room for controversy. Undisputed. #96Bulls. #OriginalDreamTeam. #SlapsLikeWillSmith #THISisNotAdrill The owner was working alone and the food was still out quickly and packaged with care. Very hospitable. He didn't yell for me to "come and get'it". I'm sure he can't walk orders out to everyone every time when he's super busy. It meant something that he had time so he cared enough about the customer experience to walk it out to me. It's the little things that are awesome. Btw - pit masters don't start working 30 minutes before "open" time. No brisket available today and that's OK but I'm curious to see a full menu. I've told 3 people and you about this place. Don't run your mouth or they'll be too busy. Next time you stop by, I'll meet you there. Don't bring anyone else. Shhh

Yelp
I wanted to try Crimson Creek for a while after seeing their photos on Facebook. They are only open on Saturday and Sunday, so we decided to go this past weekend. We ordered the pork belly burnt ends, the bag of rib tips, and a margarita pie (they have a personal size and a whole pie...go ahead and get the whole one, trust me). First off, the owners are so kind and truly love what they do. You can tell by the food. You get spoiled with the good barbecue here in Austin, but the service and hospitality here. I ordered online and set a time to pick up, but you can walk up as well. It is located in a food truck park, and we made use of the corn hole set while we waited. The rib tips..my God they were huge! The meat was so tender, and if you like pork belly..get the burnt ends. They have a lot of unique items that you can order in advance like charcuterie-boards and tomahawk ribeyes...I am already ready to go back. Please support this amazing food truck. You will not be disappointed!

Yelp
Pretty darn good BBQ with a Oklahoma twist! Super friendly and awesome owners. Those pork burnt ends were great! Also try that spicy sauce, thats on hit!

John S.

Yelp
They tend to run out of stuff so call ahead! I enjoyed their burnt ends and sausage. The sides were mac n cheese and potato salad with chocolate cake for desert. Besides the burnt ends that cake stole the show. Delicious.

Amber C.

Yelp
Amazing food and amazing people. Everything on the menu is fantastic. My husband had been dying to try the tomahawk steak. We had friends in town and decided to finally order. Let me tell you, it met very expectation and more. Absolutely fantastic. Plenty for 4 people. Yum!!

Yelp
Visiting from out of state! This BBQ was delicious! My favorites was the jalapeño sausage and the Mac & cheese! But everything was great! Was treated well from the order window to the table! Will return again when back in Texas!

Yelp
It doesn't get better then a wedding catered by Crimson Creek BBQ! Fantastic brisket, turkey, shredded pork, and the burnt ends for the wedding party. Always a great meal.

Yelp
HUGE fans of Crimson Creek Smokehouse!! I highly recommend for anyone who is looking for delicious food and fast service that will not disappoint (literally the friendliest staff ). Thanks Jamie & fam -- we'll be back soon!

Yelp
Really hospitable lil food joint next to the Deep Eddy Distillery. Perfect for lunch when you are indulging in the tasty vodka drinks next door.

Yelp
Marcus and Jamie are barbecue masters and the nicest people you could ever meet. Today we had baby back ribs, pulled pork, salmon and the best burnt ends we've ever had. Their food is always exceptional and they go out of their way to provide incredible customer service. Worth the drive every time.

Yelp
Amazing food and incredible service!! If you have a chance. Stop in and grab some grub. It was like visiting with old friends.

Yelp
The most delicious tri-tip i've ever had in my life- and that's coming from california! Seriously, a must-get. The owners are the sweetest people as well. Definitely a local business that is not only serving delicious food but makes you glad to support.

Jamie J.

Yelp
PHENOMENAL "Food?" NAH, that would be an insult! Devine, nectarous, choice, fit for a queen - way more accurate! Crimson Creek Smokehouse has no shame when it comes to letting you know how it's done. Carnivores, bring your omnivores, cuz both the pickled onions and pickles are homemade. 3 days later... hating myself, lamenting over the monstrous, hare-brained decision I made - I didn't order the TOMAHAWK???! I was there! In the presence of the smokiness, badassness, tender juicy deliciousness trailer of meats and I failed. But, I'm good, I'm only half to blame, rest of the meats on the menu take the other half. I will not fail again. TOMAHAWK, I'm coming for ya! FOOD TOUR 2023

Chris S.

Yelp
Very, very good. Great food trailer, we're lucky to have in Drippin springs. Owners are super friendly. I had ribs and best I can recall having. AND bonus: they are on the Deep Eddy Vodka tasting room on hwy 290.

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Did a catering job for us last minute and you would've thought they had been given months to prepare! Very polite, easy to work with and the food was delicious!'

Prince P.

Yelp
When you first pull up to the trailer area you are welcomed by a pleasant scenery to sit and chill. The staff is very welcoming and informative about their bbq which deserves 2 stars at start. Then you have a choice of various meats from ribs, pulled pork, & chopped chicken (Saturday's Menu). We chose to order a whole rack of spare ribs to see what Crimson Creek Smokehouse was all about and let me tell ya.... absolutely scrumptious! (Wait time was 15 min around lunch time) The ribs were moist, smoke ring was visible, rub and glaze were sparkling, perfect ratio size, and almost falling off the bone. You can truly taste the perfect rub with the hint of pecan that they use to smoke them with. We've been all over Austin trying ribs, Crimson Creek Smokehouse won't upset ya!

Yelp
Found Crimson Creek during the highlight on black owned businesses and they do not disappoint. After a short hiatus, they finally opened their permanent food trailer location, complete with parking, a small play area, and picnic tables near Argus Cidery. Their customer service is excellent and they are very responsive via email and on Instagram. I'm a diehard brisket fan but wow, is their pulled pork delicious! Also love the baked beans, bread pudding, and burnt ends.

Yelp
Spotted this passing by on Nutty Brown today and figured I'd give it a shot! Very friendly staff and pit master. Jalapeño sausage was excellent and the Oklahoma-style spicy pulled pork really hit the mark. Tasty hot barbecue sauce. Will definitely stop by again when I'm in the area!

Yelp
This BBQ place is lights out. Had the brisket, ribs, and pork belly burnt ends. These are likely the best ribs I've I've ever had, and same for the brisket. I didn't order the pork belly but Jamie (who is so nice) gave me a sample because I drove a long way to come try them out. They were outstanding and way better than other places I've had them which is the reason I didn't order them here, cuz I'm usually let down by them. Everything here is so flavorful. When I first moved to The Austin area I went to Interstellar BBQ which is ranked #2 in the state by Texas Monthly. It was definitely solid but I haven't been back there in 6 months. No urge to go back there at all. After trying Crimson Creek's ribs, brisket, pork belly and great sides and deserts... I had to make the 55 miles trek back 2 days later after pre-ordering their Tomahawk ribeye and bone marrow... and again... amazing. This place is so good I'm going to have to make the almost hour and a half drive probably twice a month. I don't care if I go broke with all the gas money to get there :)

Yelp
Crimson Creek Smokehouse has an amazing array of BBQ, sides, and charcuterie boards! The owners, Jamie and Marcus, are extremely friendly and provide excellent service! They have made an amazing environment to go hangout and bring your dog!

Yelp
Update: very attentive owners/operators they reached out and were very concerned that we had an issue with the food temperature. We will continue to patronize their establishment. My husband and I ate here on Saturday, April 2, 2022. Good BBQ and sides. My husband ordered the half rack of ribs with the Mac and cheese, I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with slaw. Nothing was wrong with the flavor, but everything was cold, lukewarm, at best. The pulled pork was very tender, flavorful and piled high, however the bun wasn't toasted, my personal preference, maybe I should have asked? Anyway, I just ate the meat and saved some carbs. I sampled my husbands ribs and they were cooked to perfection, but again they and the Mac and cheese were cold. I loved the pickled red onions, sliced pickles and the classic slice of white bread (with the my husbands ribs). The slaw that I ordered with my pulled pork was vinegar and oil based, if I remember the right flavor profile, but I ate all of it! I should say that we are locals and neighbors of the proprietors of this business, though we have not been acquainted. I hope this review is read as constructive criticism and that the issue of the temperature of the food (hot food hot, cold food cold) is seen as an opportunity to get repeat business. The service was good and the vibe was great, they did have live music and the cute little fly fans were epic! The wine sample was great, too!

Yelp
Y'all that was some seriously delicious food. Best rib tips I've ever had, meaty and spicy. The mac and cheese was full of flavor and gone faster then I'd like to admit!! Lol....The lime margarita pie thingy was a perfect compliment to the meal. It wasn't too sweet and it cooled my fiery mouth.  Really, great job!!!!   Damn good

Yelp
Excellent food, generous kind and super pleasant owners and workers. Loved it We had the Mac and cheese bowl, the cornbread bowl and a full rack. Everything was great. My favorite was the pickled onions, it was a great addition to everything!

Yelp
I read a few of the reviews and decided to try it out. So happy we did. This place is amazing. Food was delicious and the hospitality was far beyond great. We got the good ol pulled pork sandwich and they didn't have enough for two as my boyfriend and I ordered the same thing and they offered the chicken option. I was a little hesitant at first but after trying both they were both delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly and they went above and beyond what we expected. We are forever customers now and we'll be bringing more people with us every time! Best BBQ place we've been to, hands down :)

Yelp
Here I am writing a review, and I haven't even tasted their barbecue yet. Yesterday I ordered their three-piece fried chicken basket with tater tots and fried okra. I got a message from the delivery person saying that Crimson Creek had run out of tater tots, so they were giving me double the amount of chicken. I was thrilled because, let's face it, that's the best part! Right on time, I received a nice warm box of SEVEN pieces of juicy, delicious home-style fried chicken and crispy fried okra. I love this place. I love the owners' customer service and I haven't even met them yet. Needless to say, I'm really looking forward to tasting their barbecue and fried fish. It looks like the start of a beautiful relationship.
