Update: very attentive owners/operators they reached out and were very concerned that we had an issue with the food temperature. We will continue to patronize their establishment.
My husband and I ate here on Saturday, April 2, 2022. Good BBQ and sides. My husband ordered the half rack of ribs with the Mac and cheese, I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with slaw. Nothing was wrong with the flavor, but everything was cold, lukewarm, at best. The pulled pork was very tender, flavorful and piled high, however the bun wasn't toasted, my personal preference, maybe I should have asked? Anyway, I just ate the meat and saved some carbs. I sampled my husbands ribs and they were cooked to perfection, but again they and the Mac and cheese were cold. I loved the pickled red onions, sliced pickles and the classic slice of white bread (with the my husbands ribs). The slaw that I ordered with my pulled pork was vinegar and oil based, if I remember the right flavor profile, but I ate all of it!
I should say that we are locals and neighbors of the proprietors of this business, though we have not been acquainted. I hope this review is read as constructive criticism and that the issue of the temperature of the food (hot food hot, cold food cold) is seen as an opportunity to get repeat business.
The service was good and the vibe was great, they did have live music and the cute little fly fans were epic!
The wine sample was great, too!
