The 11 Best Restaurants In Clapham - London - The Infatuation

"If you can’t get enough of modern European sharing plates and want to feel like an Art Basel regular, go to Crispin at Studio Voltaire. The Clapham restaurant is inside a gallery and it's the perfect setting to discuss the latest exhibition you’ve seen—even if you’re actually discussing Married At First Sight—over plates of perfectly lovely confit tomatoes. Seasonal changing dishes are consistently tasty if a little expected—burrata, charred leeks, pork rillette, and the like. But it’s hard not to be won over by the idyllic courtyard entrance, handwritten menus, and dramatic black candelabras." - heidi lauth beasley, rianne shlebak, jake missing, daisy meager, sinead cranna

Crispin at Studio Voltaire - Review - Clapham - London - The Infatuation

"If you can’t get enough of modern European sharing plates and want to feel like an Art Basel regular, go to Crispin at Studio Voltaire. The Clapham restaurant is inside a gallery and it's the perfect setting to discuss the latest exhibition you’ve seen—even if you’re actually discussing Married At First Sight—over plates of perfectly lovely confit tomatoes. Dishes are consistently tasty if a little expected—burrata, charred leeks, pork rillette. But it’s hard not to be won over by the idyllic courtyard entrance (complete with a soothing fountain), handwritten menus, and dramatic black candelabras. Drop by in the evening for a juicy breaded pork chop and an excellent apricot and verbena margarita, and by some magical restaurant osmosis, you’ll feel sophisticated just being here. photo credit: Steven Joyce" - Sinéad Cranna

Juliets Cafe Studio Voltaire Clapham Comes From SW London’s Best Brunch | Eater London

"The new outlet at Studio Voltaire in Clapham brings the team’s inventive take on Antipodean brunch into an arts venue, carrying over a focus on elevated breakfast sandwiches, soft serve and bakes made from or seasoned with byproducts. Coffee is a highlight, thanks to long-term relationships with notable European roasters Koppi and the Barn, and the site will continue the group’s recent expansion into evening service and a natural-wine offering." - James Hansen

I came here a while ago around November time. I loved the space, the candles, the wooden tables. The service was great. The food was good, just not my style. I thought the dishes were a bit small, especially the pheasant.

We went here to celebrate our anniversary, and it was perfect. Restaurant is great for a special occasion, but I can also imagine coming and sitting at the counter for a quick lunch. Our waitress was absolutely amazing, the food was very good. My only regret was that we ordered chips and the breaded pork cutlet, that was a bit too rich, should've gotten a salad instead. They turn around the tables quite quickly. We had our table for 1.5 hours, had we ordered dessert we would not have had time, but they were very nice about it and we finished our drinks in the garden. It's a small restaurant so I understand, the need to do this. Just be prepared.

Outstanding. Truly a hidden gem tucked off the corner of Clapham high street. Food was delicious and menu was intelligently constructed. Service was superb… our waitress Jade was fantastic. I had a lovely meal with my friends. Excellent value & left feeling perfectly sate. Can’t wait to be back soon & try the other Crispín locations too.

I was really looking forward to trying this place. Unfortunately the food, although good, was not special at all to justify the price. You could easily replicate the same food in you kitchen. Staff were kind and professional, but at some point we were left with our finished starters plates for over 15 minutes, which shouldn’t happen in a place where you pay 13.5% service charge. The atmosphere however was excellent.

Loved the food, especially the mains. Great spot for weekend lunch or a candle lit date night! East london vibes in South West London!

Our family group of 5 all thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Crispin at studio Voltaire. The quality of the food was consistently good - every dish was tasty and very well put together. We had cocktails, snacks, a few starters and all of the mains with some sides. Will try the desserts next time! What made the meal special was the service, spacious seating and great acoustics. It’s hard to find a place where you can really relax, confident that everything is being taken care of. We’ll be back!
