"If you can’t get enough of modern European sharing plates and want to feel like an Art Basel regular, go to Crispin at Studio Voltaire. The Clapham restaurant is inside a gallery and it's the perfect setting to discuss the latest exhibition you’ve seen—even if you’re actually discussing Married At First Sight—over plates of perfectly lovely confit tomatoes. Dishes are consistently tasty if a little expected—burrata, charred leeks, pork rillette. But it’s hard not to be won over by the idyllic courtyard entrance (complete with a soothing fountain), handwritten menus, and dramatic black candelabras. Drop by in the evening for a juicy breaded pork chop and an excellent apricot and verbena margarita, and by some magical restaurant osmosis, you’ll feel sophisticated just being here. photo credit: Steven Joyce" - Sinéad Cranna
