I was lucky to stumble upon this hidden gem—a family-run treasure nestled in the hills of Cernobbio—not long after I moved here. Words can hardly do justice to an experience of dining on the terrace in summer months, basking in the sunlight, with the awe-inspiring views of Lake Como as your backdrop. Pair that with a Negroni and an array of local fish dishes (think marinated smoked perch, risotto, and perfectly grilled fish), and you’re in for something truly special.
In the colder months, the cozy table by the fireplace sets the scene for a different kind of magic. After a meal of exquisite meats—braised beef, homemade pasta, or roasted veal with polenta—a café corretto with grappa is the perfect way to end the evening.
I absolutely love this place. It’s as authentic and local as it gets, yet the culinary delights are anything but simple. Don’t just take my word for it—skip the center of Como, take a quick 7-minute drive, and see for yourself.
