We were in town & heard wonderful things about this place! The server was very kind, and attentive. The food was amazing; we got the chicken & waffles, and the guacamole toast! Delicious brunch, next time we’re in town we will be returning!

Went for an early dinner my husband and I sat at the bar. Got some drinks that were pretty good. I wanted to order the crab shrimp cocktail, was informed it’s no longer available, still on the menu. So I decided to get the seared tuna. My husband got the peach salad with chicken added. (I wish I would have taken a picture it looked nothing like the salad they have a picture of, there was very little blue cheese and not sure there were pecans at all. Mostly a big ole bowl of just lettuce. My husband had to ask for more dressing for some flavor. When my seared tuna came out I have to say I was pretty shocked at the look of the $32 dish!!! Plain rice seared tuna and a few pickles!!! It was really disappointing. People working the bar were friendly and helpful.

Google
Crush was a nice lunch option in downtown Amarillo. Wasn't blown away by anything in particular, but the prices were fair, service was quick, and I enjoyed the atmosphere inside. Didn't actually try any wine at this wine bar so can't give an opinion!

Google
We had a very good experience here today. We came in famished after a long hike in the canyon and wanted a drink and an appetizer to hold us over until our dinner reservations later in the evening. It’s a little strange because the staff are all dressed the same in very short dresses with black stockings that seemed pretty out of place mid afternoon but whatever. We sat at the bar and our server was super pleasant and attentive. She made great appetizer recommendations which we followed and were very pleased with the quality of the food. The music was low enough to be able to converse comfortably, the lighting was nice and the chairs were comfortable. I would recommend upgrading the napkin quality. The prices were high but not absurdly so, maybe 10-15% higher than I felt they should have been but we were still pleased with our choice to come here.

Google
Food and service was awesome. We had a group of about 20 people so obviously the servers couldn’t handle everything immediately, but we understood with how big of a group it was. They were still fantastic and you could tell that service was at the top of their list. I got the steak and they cooked it exactly how I wanted. The Brussels sprouts I got we shared and everyone loved them. Will definitely be back again.

Google
It’s more expensive than a cafe but worth every penny. I had the coconut shrimp with mushroom apricot risotto asparagus and apricot brandy glaze. I split the dish with my sister and cleaned my plate. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My husband had a salad with rare tuna and balsamic vinaigrette and he said he enjoyed every bite!

Google
Crush Wine Bar is an absolute gem in Amarillo! The atmosphere is stylish yet comfortable, making it a perfect spot for a date night or a casual evening with friends. Their wine selection is impressive, with something for every palate, and the craft cocktails are just as fantastic. The food is top-notch—I had the Ribeye steak, and it was absolutely delicious. The rooftop patio is a great place to relax and enjoy the downtown views. The service was excellent, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who made great recommendations. Definitely a must-visit if you're in Amarillo!

Google
We've visited a few times this year and the atmosphere is great it's the perfect spot to grab a drink and catch up with friends. That said, the food has consistently been underwhelming. I’ve tried several different dishes and, unfortunately, the quality doesn’t match the price point. Most recently, we ordered a steak and purchased sides separately for around $50. The sides were ok but the steak was disappointing bland and pan-seared. The service is also hit or miss. There always seems to be plenty of staff around, but the attentiveness may or may not be there.

Yelp
This was a pleasant surprise in downtown Amarillo. The reviews are correct, this restaurant was delightful. The food was delicious and beautifully displayed. My father in law got the shrimp and is still talking about it several days later. I had one of the fish dishes and subbed veggies for rice and it was delectable. The restaurant had some beautiful large wood pieces on the wall and as a long table. The service also was great. Definitely go check this place out!

Yelp
I think service could have been a little better but that might've been because there wasn't much staff. But the happy hour menu and food made up for the service. I enjoyed a few glasses of the house white blend. I also split a charcuterie board with some ladies. Towards the end I ordered the chicken piccata which was DELICIOUS. The server recommended it as her favorite item and I have to agree. I ate outside to enjoy the nice weather. It's a nice place to people watch and just take in the day.

Yelp
How can a BLT be done wrong? Let me tell you - I took a lunch and wanted a quick meal as I waited for 10 minutes to order - the quick BLT came to table looking like it was assembled by a toddler - sandwich was scattered across plate - bacon was not cooked all the way and toast was black in areas - would have said something but wait staff were non-existent!!! Had to get up and find someone to pay for a shitty $20 sandwich! Next time, will skip the idea of a nice lunch downtown!!!

Yelp
Located on a charming block in downtown Amarillo, Crush is a vibrant and popular restaurant near The Barfield Autograph Collection hotel. I went here for dinner with my wife and work colleague. Portions were huge and service was friendly and helpful with menu suggestions. The wine list is small but with recognizable options. It's certainly worth a try if you're in town.
google avatar

Peggy S.

Yelp
The restaurant was beautiful. Menu choices were unique and varied. Choose Wagyu Meatloaf (YUMMY) served with mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables and Salad with grilled chicken. Rotating Cookie for dessert! would have rated higher but service slow.
google avatar

Heidi W.

Yelp
Sat at the bar. Bar tender was very friendly and made a very delicious gin cocktail. Unfortunately their rooftop didn't open until later that evening so I didn't get to see it but overall, very nice atmosphere l, comfortable seating at the bar, great music and delicious drinks.

Chris T.

Yelp
Cool little spot with great bar area! The service was a little on the slower side but it was expected when considering how crafted the cocktails are. Food was stellar and staff had great recommendations!
google avatar

Michael B.

Yelp
All the things we tried were very good. Good selection of cocktails and decent service. The blackened pasta with Cajun seasoning was probably the best thing we tried, but the charcuterie was a close second.

Yelp
Hey thanks Yelpers-- this restaurant was tops! I had a really interesting Texas wine ( the list is not exclusively Texas) and really good tacos. We tried the new tuna carpaccio , flavors were wonderful! Service was prompt and there was easy parking a a good traffic inside for a Monday night.
google avatar

Yelp
Blackened Pasta with Chicken or Beef! This is the best Pasta Dish in Amarillo. Service is excellent as well. Great experience!!

Yelp
Horrible across the board. We ordered margaritas to start. I don't know what we were served but they weren't margaritas. So bad. Sent them back. Ordered burgers and fries. I asked for my burger medium rare and was told they were not able to do that. Then I realized why. This burger appeared to be precooked, frozen, then reheated to serve. Tasted as good as sawdust. The fries were the soggiest that I've ever been served. It was inedible. I forced down maybe 20% of it and left.

Yelp
Work Lunch- place was pretty empty. 4 tables occupied Slow wait staff. Slow food service. Waited over an hr for food -only came out after asking- food was all cold. One of our favorites off the list.

Quentin C.

Yelp
The meatloaf with vegetable medley at this place is absolutely astounding. Meatloaf? Best Meatloaf I've ever had. Vegetable medley? Best Vegetable medley I've ever had. The entire meal? Top 10 meals I've ever had. The meatloaf doesn't use traditional tomato based meatloaf sauce, they use almost like a salisbury sauce. I think the vegetables are just marinated in soy sauce? But I think there's more going on there than just soy sauce. Delicious and I would love to have whatever recipe they are using. I've been to 35 cities this year including NYC and did not expect Amarillo, TX to be the (second) best meal I've had this year. Cursh is a Texas hidden gem.

Yelp
Shrimp & crab cocktail was delicious. Great lunch spot with nice lunch specials and light & fun craft cocktails

Yelp
Not good. At all. It seemed like it would be a nice choice given I was visiting from out of town and the reviews looked promising. However, the dining room was empty except for one table when we arrived (there were a few people dining outdoors). Maybe that was a sign. The food was bad. I ordered the coconut shrimp, which is served over risotto. First off, the risotto was barely lukewarm. It must have been sitting waiting for the shrimp. Speaking of the shrimp, it was definitely frozen coconut shrimp and not coated in house. The "apricot brandy glaze" was poured all over the shrimp, and it had an overwhelmingly sweet taste. Cloyingly sweet. My companions did not fare much better, including one whose entree was undercooked. The service was no better: instead of trying to make the crappy food experience right, he opted to do nothing at all. Very disappointing experience. Go elsewhere if you want a good meal.
google avatar

Rich B.

Yelp
Crush left me completely baffled. Despite the done-right demiglaze, the duck was tough and undercooked, barely edible after removing a layer of fat that should have seared instead of cold. The risotto was flat and runny, overpowered by a blue cheese treatment that should never be paired with the duck, let alone asparagus with wooden ends. My wife had the shrimp, packaged and slathered in a warm sauce that couldn't save the dish. Her risotto was equally sad. The hero of the meal was a lonely peach salad. And that's saying something, given the peaches were likely canned. If this is what passes for fine dining in Amarillo, I'm sorry for the town. Or maybe not. Crush was mostly empty on a Thursday night - a couple people who were smarter than us, ordering something more akin to the chef's skill level: nachos and hamburgers. For my trouble, the server offered an apology but never made it right. No inspection, no discount, no offer of a different meal or even a free dessert. To make matters worse, he was actually training someone who exhibited more empathy. I appreciated that. Maybe the new guy should take over training.

Yelp
We loved the charcuterie board. However the chicken on both my dish (chicken Caesar salad and a noodle dish) were the same and it didn't go with our food. It was a powerful rosemary ( we think) taste. It threw it off all the taste of our dishes. Also the service was not that good even though the restaurant wasn't busy at all.

Robert T.

Yelp
What kind of psychopath fries up jalapeños with the cheese curds and serves them with ranch and raspberry jam? Genius. Peach wheat beer? Perfect accompaniment. Served ice cold. On a snowy 18 F night. Perfect. I could have stopped there. Maybe next visit I will and you'll find me in the gutter outside with raspberry jam crusted hair and jalepeno shrapnel scattered about. I needed an extra stomach. Service was stellar. Place was cozy and quiet yet busy despite the weather keeping many in. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Simply amazing The decor is beautiful and the food is amazing. We had the tuna and also the smashed burger. One of the best burgers I have ever had. Found out the beef is sourced locally. The tuna had fantastic flavor. Service was on point and attentive. We found this on our drive back to Denver and was pulled in my amazing reviews. It lives up to the hype and then some ! Lovely place worth the stop

Yelp
Never fails...always outstanding...first time to try their grilled salmon and Wagu steak. EXCELLENT Partook upstairs this visit, Service was exceptional and very friendly, on call for every request... thank you Lynsey C!
google avatar

Yelp
Pretty swank atmosphere with strange yet fancy food choices put together on the same menu. What do I mean by strange? Just weirdly put on the menu. As you can see by my pics, friend cheese curds for an appetizer and yaki soba for an entree. Stuff just didn't have a theme. Honestly, I liked it. Everything tasted good. Staff was great. I would go back for sure.
google avatar

Rolinda D.

Yelp
The food was good, a bit over priced and I probably won't ever go again since we were just passing through. The atmosphere was cool and service was great. It was my birthday weekend and they do a cool candle fire work thing, but that's if you buy a dessert sooooo basically a free candle lol . With their prices would have thought it would have been a little better.
google avatar

Yelp
This was such a fun place to go for dinner! Our server was so nice and friendly and checked on us several times. We shared an appetizer of cheese curds that had a hint of jalapeño, We had quinoa bowl with salmon, noodles and beef and poke bowl with ahi tuna, everything was delicious

Melisa ..

Yelp
Crush Creamsicle - Delicious!!. I had the Duck for dinner.. it was good. Great location, wonderful atmosphere.

Erik N.

Yelp
God awful service. Waitress took forever to get us menus and we felt neglected the entire time.

Yelp
Ate an early Friday night dinner while in Amarillo on business. Service was very attentive and friendly. The steak I ordered was cooked to the correct temperature. I had the house salad and brussel sprouts as well. Atmosphere was nice and it wasn't too crowded.
google avatar

Yelp
We had an excellent dinner at Crush. It took a while to get our food but it was a Friday night during a holiday week and they were busy. Luckily we had made reservations. We were passing through Amarillo on our way to AZ and we found this on Yelp. Anyway, my friend's Caesar salad came with our entrees, wish it had come sooner but it was really good. I had a filet cooked medium rare and it was excellent. Added the truffle butter sauce and loved it. My husband and I split the truffle macaroni and cheese and it was over the top! We also split some mushrooms-it was a small portion but really good. I wish they served bread before or with the meal but that's ok. My friend and my husband both had ribeyes. My husband ordered his rare and it was perfectly cooked but my friend's medium rare ribeye was overcooked. Her husband had the poke bowl and he didn't really like it. My friend and her husband had a glass of wine and a beer. Their cocktail menu looked really good, I just didn't feel like anything but the selections looked interesting. Our server Katrina was friendly and helpful and did a great job. We would definitely go again!

Yelp
Amazing wine list. Food was spectacular! The small charcuterie board was not smal--unbelievable value.
google avatar

Scott S.

Yelp
Great food and atmosphere. Wait staff was attentive. I had a fantastic filet, cooked just as I ordered. Big fan. I'll be returning anytime I'm in Amarillo.

Jared G.

Yelp
Very disappointing experience after hearing great things about this place. Came with my wife and ordered the mussels as an appetizer. The white wine sauce had some good flavor and it was probably the highlight of the meal. Ordered the Buffalo cauliflower bowl, ribeye, and side of Brussels sprouts. The Buffalo cauliflower was extremely bland and came with rice that tasted extremely dry like it had been sitting out for hours. The breading on the cauliflower had some flavor, but soggy on the breading. The steak had about 30% of it come in inedible fat chunks and very tendony. I saw it as soon as it came out and was surprised the chef even let it leave the kitchen. The Brussels sprouts were flavorless and soggy as well. We did ask for some sauces from the kitchen which helped a little, but still a disappointing meal. Aside from the food, Crush has an incredible ambiance, but it still wasn't enough for us to return for a $100 meal between the two of us. The restaurant and live music was the only thing that moved this up to 2 stars rather than 1.

Daniel K.

Yelp
Food 8.5/10 Service 8/10 Portions 8.4/10 I ordered a tortellini and half a portion of salad. Tortellini and salad were great. Salad looked like a normal portion of a salad despite being a half order.

Yelp
This is a great hidden gem in Downtown Amarillo. My wife and I walked there from our hotel -Embassy Suites- just a couple of blocks away. The bar tender at the hotel recommended the place and said that they had great food and drinks, so we decided to take a walk and go and check it out. We were very pleased that we did. We walked in and were greeted immediately. We were told that there was a rooftop bar and so we asked if we could be seated upstairs. The hostess directed us to the elevator and we took it up to a beautiful indoor/outdoor area where there were plenty of seating areas, both outdoor type furniture and indoor seating that included high top tables and chairs. The waitress came over and to greet us and almost immediately had a refreshing drink in front of us. We ordered the Wagyu Burger with New Mexico Green Chili and it was cooked to perfection. The French fries were as if they were home made and were very delicious! If you're ever visiting the area, we most definitely recommend this awesome little place.
google avatar

Brittany G.

Yelp
Loves the night time atmosphere. Forr was very fresh and so tasty. Staff was very attentive. We will return

Michael R.

Yelp
The spicy Yaki Soba Noodle dish was the worst I've ever been served. The noodles and veggies were smothered in an entire bottle of cheap off-the-shelf barbecue sauce--completely inedible.

Tony S.

Yelp
Very good food with nice atmosphere. Friendly service. Great place to have a meal. Bon appetite.

Yelp
Great place especially if the weather is nice on the patio upstairs. The food was very good. Definitely worth the trip.

Yelp
Had a large group on the rooftop. Great food. Service was good also. They had our table ready 20 min early too. We will be back.

Yelp
What a great find in Amarillo, Texas! Came through here on a road trip and we were so glad to find this place! The restaurant was located in the "downtown" area and it was super scenic. We sat outside and took in the street. The inside was also so gorgeous! Next, our waitress was so kind, friendly, patient and informative! She made our dining experience so awesome and gave us great recommendations for our limited time in Amarillo. I think her name was Sydnie, so shout out to her!! Lastly, the food was top notch! We ordered a bunch of plates and shared - crab cakes were so good (sauce that came with them was great too), the flatbread, chicken piccata (really great and lemony), the house salad, and lastly we got the Southwest Cosmopolitan and it was SO delicious!!!!

Yelp
Better service in Amarillo Texas than Instagram fav etta in Scottsdale... Who woulda thought? The bar team of Joshua and Isaya rocked the bar from start to finish. Proper greetings, prompt service, great suggestions, the whole package for a busy bar. Yes, they handled both the bar top and dining room with excellent teamwork. Crush is def an oasis in Amarillo. Open on Monday (many other Yelped locations not so). Excellent variety of fare and drinks. Only slight drawback, and expected based on geography, is that it appears to be a sausage-fest. I'll take excellent service/food over duck face Insta poses any day. Count me in for next visit to the area.
google avatar

Susanne D.

Yelp
Super nice waitress but over priced, turkey on toast with some chips $14. Ambience is very nice and upscale. I understand downtown is pricey but to attract more people offer a lunch menu.

Natalie H.

Yelp
Food was mid for how expensive it was, and our bartenders at the upstairs bar were too concerned about the well drinks and not their actual bar top. They were also super snarky and didn't care if we were taken care of and were too busy talking about their customers. I was born and raised in Amarillo and moved 5 years ago and this was actually a waste of my time when I was in town.
google avatar

Kimberli B.

Yelp
Cilantro Jalapeño Hummus with veggies and House White wine. Perfect after-work pick-me-up! Jordan served up my wine with class and was pleasantly interactive without being too involved. Will be back on next work trip!
google avatar

Daniel O.

Yelp
So glad i stopped in. Was served by Edgar and he was courteous, timely, and professional. So glad I didn't get fast food. I was traveling and this was Just three minutes off the highway. Everything on the menu looked great and the atmosphere was excellent.

Yelp
Crush is always delicious and the service is fantastic! I've gone for date night, girls night, and recently a party! Our server Peyton was amazing and made my sister's party one to remember. We got the Tuna tartar, chicken picatta, pecan crusted salmon, fish tacos, and a large charcuterie board all were delicious.
google avatar

Dana B.

Yelp
We love Crush for its excellent service and modern atmosphere. The filet is a bit pricey, but WOW it's absolute perfection!
google avatar

Raven J.

Yelp
Crush was a surprise in a town where almost everything is a taco food truck, one star McDonalds, or a car parts shop. The cocktails were great. I will definitely be recreating the lavender daydream at home. The wait staff was extremely friendly and efficient. (I watched a waitress patiently nod through a customer's rant that she was "living in fear" by abiding by the CDC's guidelines of wearing a mask/sanitizing tables during A PANDEMIC.) The food was pretty good! The steak had a great sear and flavor, but the brussel sprouts weren't the best. I really enjoyed my shrimp scampi. The charcuterie board wasn't anything to write home about but the cheese was good and I liked that they included beets. Overall, an excellent place to have dinner and drinks with friends if you are ever in Amarillo.

Vicki O.

Yelp
This was a great place to have lunch for 3 weary travelers. The food was excellent, 2 ordered the fish and chips, which was the special for the day. The fish was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of breading. The French fries were delicious and definitely fresh cut potatoes. One of us had the daily soup , loaded baked potato. It was exactly what was wanted. The best part was our server, Katrina was very attentive. We needed a seat on the patio because we were traveling with a dog. Everybody there took care of us from the manager to the hostess. They noticed that our mom was making a makeshift cushion for the chair and brought us a cushion for her. Everything about our experience here was great. The patio was a perfect place for a nice quiet lunch.

Slater L.

Yelp
Always impressive. Super clean. Nice atmosphere inside and out. Great variety of cuisines.
google avatar

Crystal G.

Yelp
Two stars for the great bartenders but no stars for the food. I ordered the grain bowl and it was one of the worst things I ordered at a restaurant in a VERY long time. The chicken was bland and barely cooked? The quinoa was flat and watery. The veggies were bland, not cooked well, and unexciting. I had to ask for every kind of hot sauce they had in order to make this bowl edible. I'm really not sure what went wrong here and the reviews steered me to Crush but I left leaving half my food there (which I never do). Healthy food does NOT mean bland and tasteless.. stay away from the bowls here. I can't speak for the rest.
