The Most Underrated Restaurants in Seattle | Eater Seattle

"When Curbside closed in 2018 it seemed that Nickerson Street, a section of Queen Anne steps away from the canal but surprisingly isolated from most restaurants, had lost a vital piece of the neighborhood. However, apparently good things come to those who wait and Curbside Deli reopened last November with a permanent building replacing the food truck. Once again, it’s serving a faithful clientele of university students, locals, and nearby workers. With perfectly quick-pickled daikon/carrots and tender marinated meats, Curbside’s pork banh mi is likely Seattle’s best north of the ID. To top it off, the grilled chicken rice plate served with broken rice and fish sauce offers an ideal mini-picnic by the canal. –Charlie Lahud-Zahner" - Eater Staff

Curbside - Review - Queen Anne - Seattle - The Infatuation

"This truck on the side of the road in Queen Anne serves quality Vietnamese street food. There’s tasty pho, banh mi, vermicelli bowls, spring rolls, and Vietnamese coffee - with the added bonus that nothing costs more than $7.50. Just remember that they aren’t open on Sundays and they close at 8pm most weekdays, so check the time before heading over." - Aimee Rizzo

Google
FINALLY tried this spot, and I'm so glad we did! Being from Vancouver BC where there are amazing Banh Mi, I was pretty disappointed in the standard I found in Seattle. I had reviewed one up on Queen Anne Ave which put salsa in their Banh Mi (HUGE no no), as well as a few around the city which mostly used grilled meat, none of the sandwhiches used pâté. Curbside Grill's Banh Mi reminded me of home, the baguette was crispy, the picked veggies were not too sweet, and the pork was delicious. The viet coffee is also very good. Will be back!

Google
We found this shop through a friend’s recommendation—they said it had the best banh mi. Our family decided to give it a try, and we were not disappointed! The staff was super friendly and attentive. The food was amazing—the meat was well-marinated and packed with flavor. The broken rice portion was big and delicious, and the beef banh mi was also fantastic. Definitely worth a visit!

Google
I ordered a tofu bahn mi today and I’m so glad I did! This place is fast and convenient, and the sandwich was so tasty. I love anywhere that adds lemongrass to the tofu bahn mi, it just adds such a nice pop of flavor. The bread was so perfect, crusty yet fluffy and it was not skimpy on the tofu. Highly recommend!

Google
Curbside is BACK!! This was a staple while I was a student, and I’m so glad they now have a brick & mortar store instead of the food truck! Steak Bahn Mi was amazing, super fresh and balanced! I will be coming back, and there’s new items on the menu to try! Only ask is that they post a menu or at least a QR code to browse ahead of ordering.

Google
I am so happy that this corner restaurant exists. I grew up eating banh mi and haven’t been able to find a tasty/reasonably priced option in North Seattle until I found this place. I’m so happy that I don’t have to drive all the way to Chinatown/ID anymore. The pork banh mi is full of flavor and I love that they lather on the pate. It tastes very authentic. The French bread is fresh, crispy yet fluffy. The pickled vegetables are perfectly sweet and sour. $8.50 for 1 banh mi is on the pricy side, but it’s worth not having to drive all the way south. Can’t wait to try their other items!

Google
Amazing food. I wished I had gone months ago. Recommend any dish with the chicken! Called my 7 piece order in and it was ready in 10mins! (Banh Mi sandwiches not photographed... but they were AMAZING!)

Google
This price is unbeatable… no one is around these days trying to provide an affordable yet good sandwich. Family owned and great for anyone!

Google
This place has excellent pho (nicely packed ingredients for take away) as well as good sized spring rolls and really delicious banh mi.

Yelp
At curbside you can get a bahn mi and some fresh spring rolls for under $20. The bread is chewy and the fresh rolls are large. The friendly folks at the walk up counter are fun. Some of the finer touches of Vietnamese cuisine are missing such as the overwhelming freshness of the veggies (a touch over cooked and limp in the spring rolls) and also missing is the certain crustiness of the bread roll. Being as this spot is right next to the college I think it will be a welcome addition to the neighborhood lunch options because at the price point it's a decent amount of food.

Yelp
Yum yum. The veggie bahn mi was awesome. At first I thought it was a little light on the tofu but after a few bites it was bursting with delicious tofu. The bread is the perfect texture of crispy and chewy. Overall the sandwich is huge and a great value.

Yelp
I ate their today during their grand reopening as a building now at 3 NW Nickerson and same great chef, service, and low prices as the food truck. But the lines wow they moved them through quickly and the Metro route drivers of 3/4, 13, and 31/32 were incredible happy it is open again. I had the chicken Pho with double noodle and extra meat and the best thing possible for a head cold. The Chef and Crew start the Pho Broth at 5-6AM and prepping the day before they even open at 10AM so make sure you dip them well.... The head Chef lost his father so that set back opening until today.....

Yelp
Pretty good little lunch cart here! I got the shrimp spring rolls and pork bahn mi, and was pretty satisfied. The spring rolls are LARGE, so thumbs up on that. The fillings were all fresh, and they included a crunchy egg roll wrapper flute, which I thought provided a great bit of texture. The bahn mi was pretty good too...the bread was fresh and had a nice crust, the pickled veggies were really good, and the jalapeños were nice and spicy :) I wasn't terribly impressed with the pork though...it was a bit dry and not all that flavorful, so I'll probably try a different protein next time.

Yelp
I've seen Curbside a bunch as their home base spot is across the street at that gas station from Seattle Pacific University in Queen Anne area. Most of the time the same food trucks show up weekly in downtown, well I was able to check Curbside out when they drove on over to Westlake Park in downtown. Thought I'd give them a try and what a great lunch choice! Their menu is pretty big with different selections of spring rolls, bahn mi sandwiches, grilled meat rice plates and combos, vermicelli bowls and even pho. So far I've tried: -Shrimp & Pork Spring Rolls: pretty fresh ingredients, nicely made, good thickness and big. Peanut sauce is darn good and you will want more. -BBQ Pork Bahn Mi: BBQ pork was good, plenty of meat in the sandwich, pickled veg is good, bread is soft on inside and crisp on the outside, pretty fat sandwich, good enough to eat half now and the rest later, but in my case, eat it all now! -Grilled Pork Vermicelli Bowl: they fill the to-go box pretty full, a lot of grilled meat, fresh veggies, fish sauce mix is good, basic but pretty darn good. From my visits, this is a good food truck! The guy at the window is real nice, be sure to be clear & precise on what you want if you substitute anything or have any special requests. Prices are good for a filling lunch option. Doesn't take long to whip up your order. I think their permanent trailer location over by SPU is orange colored, but be sure to look for this non fancy green food truck.

Yelp
I got Curbside when it was in Bellevue for lunch. I had the fried rice with BBQ Pork. The pork was super flavorful, and had that smokey/char/sweet/salty-ness that you expect from BBQ. It also came with peas & carrots, some pickled carrots/radish, a couple slices of jalapeno, and a couple slices of tomato. The rice was definitely the star. It wasn't greasy, and it was crazy-flavorful and unctuous. They have a really large variety on their menu fried rice, pho, spring rolls, banh mi, egg rolls, and potstickers. So, I will probably come back and try some more of their stuff!

Yelp
Don't be fooled by the gutter glam location of this food truck. Food is exceptional without the unnecessary frills.
google avatar

Arthur A.

Yelp
Curbing my food enthusiasm and filling hunger quotas. A slightly surprising set of entrees offered as the color pigmentation choice of the rice did not meet my subjective expectation. Never the less, it was a well worth gamble as it's buttery flavor continued to compliment the tried true grilled pork. Featuring a large scoop of complex carbohydrates, the spooning of these bites resulted in familiar endorphine kicks and a the silencing of the tremor aches reduced down, unrecognizable to the Richter Growl Scale. With an added bonus of vitamin D coating to go box, additional warmth put the final condiments to complete the meal. The quest for a viet cuisine raid is now complete, and the wallets are liberated, in a non financial disaster kind of way.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is definitely American Vietnamese food. The Vietnamese grilled pork came with the Vermicelli or with the fried rice tasted kinda blahh, not much good grilled lemongrass flavor and tough. The peanut sauce came with the spring rolls was yuck, worst peanut sauce I've ever had. Couldn't eat it after first tried. The best thing happened was the fried rice, because it's freshly made, but it's still not very good, I could make much better than that at home.

Yelp
Curbside is a great place to come for lunch! I *love* the Banh Mi they serve. Only downside is around lunchtime this place is absolutely hammered with orders from SPU students and Canal Place employees. Don't stop by expecting a quick bite, unless you call in your order first.
google avatar

Yikhwan D.

Yelp
I love Curbside. I probably come here once a week. I don't think i've had a bad thing from here. Their rice combos are great, and everything is set at a good price
google avatar

Kristene S.

Yelp
YUM! Gem of this area! There's not a lot of good quick Vietnamese places around this area so I'm glad that I found this one. Warning- they can get busy during peak meal hours so I would recommending calling in your order ahead of time if you're in a rush. There were about 3 people ahead of me when I got there with call-in orders between customers so it took about 10 minutes for my bhan mi. BUT oh man their food is worth it! The baguette is what made the sandwich for me. It's toasted perfectly and super fresh, it didn't scrape up the top of my mouth which normally happens with bhan mi sandwiches. You can tell that the meat is marinated for a long time and the flavor is spot on. Combine that with the pickled daikon and carrots and add the cilantro and other good things and you have a perfect bite, all for about $5! Definitely recommend this place, delish!

Yelp
3.5 Yelpie Stars here... The newest addition to the food truck nation in this area, Curbside is Vietnamese cuisine with a good opening salvo of classic Vietnamese foods. This place is nestled next to the Shell station, on Nickerson right next to Seattle Public University. This truck is stationary, and open weekdays from 10AM - 4PM. On their menu, are openers such as Goi cuon (Spring Rolls) variants like the summer roll and fried spring rolls; classics such as the Bánh mì, and a rice plate. They have a couple drinks also. Like many food trucks, they have a concise menu; on a side note... I personally they should put some mention that their sandwiches are actually Bánh mì. I think being as descriptive as possible helps with the choosing process, plus should be a point of pride. =) I'll start with an opener, the Spring roll. My order included the fresh version made with bánh tráng (rice paper) and served with a peanut sauce. The standard affair is here, rice noodles, shrimp, a cold cut meat/pate and something special inside... I'm not Vietnamese, but inside this roll, was a crunch, I thought at first it was something tempura like, but looking at it, it was something of a spring roll wrapper, rolled tightly and either fried or baked. It added a welcome texture to the roll. The peanut sauce was good, right flavor, a stick to the dipped object that worked. Overall, good execution. Now, the Bánh mì; my order was for BBQ Pork. I have had sandwiches from maybe two dozen places in Seattle and Vancouver; and I have two real ratings when it comes to this sandwich (and generally all sandwiches.) The first is the bread, and here it's very crusty and chewy in the right way. I would love to have a little more of softer side of the bread. Second are the fillings. As any good sandwich, there is cilantro with stem and everything, chili peppers with seeds, and pickled carrots and daikon. The meat was BBQ Pork, and it was flavored right; but I needed just a little bit more of it, and a little bit more moist. I love it when the bread is soaking up the juices of the meat and fillings, and this doesn't quite do that. It shouldn't be saucy, just moist. So for the review. The newest kid on the block... I'm thinking it's just almost about on par with many of the food trucks here, and I think with a little tweaking, this might be the start of something good. Recommendation, try it out, since they are new, I think they will appreciate any feedback you might have, because the customer service was excellent.

Yelp
I ordered the BBQ pork Vermicelli and the vegetarian spring rolls and a Thai tea for lunch. I wasn't expecting that much food. Oh I was wrong. The pork vermicelli had tender flavorful cuts of pork, tasty noodles and the carrots mixed in nicely. The spring rolls were huge, and I'm generally not a fan of tofu but it was a nice accompaniment inside the roll as well and had a nice crunch. Can't go wrong with Thai tea. The prices are cheap and the portions big with quick service. During lunch there is a line but I missed the rush thankfully. You won't be disappointed and your tummy will thank you.

Yelp
Everything I've ever eaten at this truck is BOMB !! They just reopened after being closed during COVID closing, but they are back to making the great food like before!

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food. Affordable prices. Friendly service. Convenient for lunch break. I love this place! It's my new go to for days that I don't pack a lunch for work. I've had the phò and banh mi. Both are fantastic.
google avatar

Yelp
Roving foodies keep an eye out for some creative fare! Lemongrass steak banh mi is packed with flavor and the potstickers were crazy generous (portion). Awesome menu and friendly service!
google avatar

Raeya D.

Yelp
$4 for two giant chicken spring rolls, HELL YEAH. Their spring rolls are phenomenal and so is everything else here. It's also pretty damn cheap too. Warning the line is crazy long during breaks from classes at SPU. Call ahead and that will help cut down your wait! It's enough to be more than one meal and absolutely delicious! Great options, and nice too cause their rice noodles are gluten free!
google avatar

Payton B.

Yelp
favorite banh mi ever!! I'm vegan so I always go for a tofu banh mi with no mayo when I get Vietnamese food and most places that means it's dry or bland. Curbside's sandwiches are always fresh with the right textures, and still coming in under $5 before tip.
google avatar

Yelp
Sometimes second time is a charm, my first visit to this food truck in T-Mobile commons (Eastgate) didn't go well, on which the owner refunded my money and gave me a new lunch box, guess what, it was short ribs and the best one I had in a while. Juicy and tasteful, also the food portion is quite big, so it will hit the spot. For small portion eaters, save some for dinner. I am going to have my buddy's try the short ribs next they come to commons.

Nathan L.

Yelp
The chicken sandwich is cheap and tasty. During school I usually go there once a week and they always make it very good

Yelp
Visit type: Weekday lunch hour stop. This place is decently busy during the lunch hour. Three people ahead of me with a small gathering that followed behind me. They have a decently large menu in my opinion for a food truck, granted they are all just variations for bahn mi and spring rolls and pho, but even still, great variety. Order: lemongrass steak bahn mi. $6. Not to sound like an old lady but back in my day a bahn would run me about $4! So considering the price inflation over the last 10+ years, this may be considered a steal. Freshly toasted bread, decent meat to bread ratio...its the perfect to go lunch. I wish this place was as common as subway because I would eat fresh every day. - I'm not expert, but I thought it was great. The steak was flavorful and had a little kick to it. Service: polite with no frills. What can I help with. This is how much it is. Here you go in 2-10 minutes, depending on what you get.
google avatar

Carrie R.

Yelp
Tasty food, SUPER slow service. I waited 20 minutes plus for a fresh roll. Don't go unless you have time to wait.
google avatar

Susan Z.

Yelp
Curbside is definitely the go to place for lunch when I studied at SPU. Great values for great food!!!!
google avatar

Doug M.

Yelp
Curbside was at Ridgecrest Public House tonight so I decided to try the pork Banh. At $7 it was more expensive than Rise and Shine Bakery and it was not as good as there but it was OK. Might try another dish.

Blake O.

Yelp
This is my go to for quick food. Don't eat garbage fast-food when you can get large portions here for probably cheaper than any fast food place.
google avatar

Bo P.

Yelp
Great bahn mi sandwiches. The only thing I order is the grilled chicken bahn mi. It's flavorful and there's really nothing to complain about. The ingredients always taste fresh. The chicken itself has a good flavor to it and I've frequented this truck many, many times. They're consistent and the guy who manages it is always fantastically friendly.

Gustavo A.

Yelp
Very good sandwiches but terrible work ethic always open late sometimes don't even open

Katelyn K.

Yelp
Amazing. Probably one of the best spring rolls I have had ever. Brisket pho was also very tasty. Super nice people. Fast and reasonably priced.
google avatar

Yelp
I have lived in Seattle all my life and me and my family and all of her friends always know to go to curbside because the freshest best food around!!!!! Check out Lalascuts.com and mention Curbside and get 10% off!!
google avatar

Davinah S.

Yelp
It looks sketchy, but fear not, this place is legit. Super great staff who might be family, and they're friendly. They love their regulars! Anyway, the food is great and the price is even better. I love their grilled pork spring rolls and their Vietnamese iced coffee is sooo yummy. You can't go wrong here!
google avatar

Andrea E.

Yelp
This food was horrible. The fried rice was under cook soaked in oil with peas and carrots that could have come out of the freezer or a can. The egg rolls had vinegar in them so gross.
google avatar

Jean F.

Yelp
Dayum this is good banh mi. I've been trying different banh mi stores in Seattle for awhile now. This is the first one that I really liked and would go back to. The price is a bit high for banh mi but it's still pretty cheap. The bread is perfectly crunchy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside. There's a lot of filling, both the meat and veggies. As an extra plus, the pickled veggies are not too sweet. They also have some orange colored sauce -- some mix of mayo and sriracha? Anyhow, it was good and, more importantly, not overbearing. I got the lemongrass steak, but I hear the other banh mi options are good too? Yum yum yum yum yum.
google avatar

Whitney J.

Yelp
One of the best food trucks around. Love the shrimp spring rolls, and they are $4.00. Lunch for under $5.00...unheard of in Seattle!!! Everything I have tried has been fresh and authentic tasting. I do like this location on Nickerson better than the one off the Burke Gilman (between Fremont and Wallingford) though, quality wise. The beverages are not to my taste because I find them overly sweet, but that is a personal preference. Staff is friendly and efficient in cranking out orders.
google avatar

Jens B.

Yelp
Portion sizes are huge. My first bite of the bahn mi alluded to this being similar to other places that skimp on the meat, and with most of the sandwich being bread. Every bite after that cleared that misconception right up. The sandwich was packed to the brim with veggies and plenty of meat, I was pretty full after the sandwich. I also got an order of the fresh pork spring rolls per other reviews and had to take a bite to try them, but those as well are enormously generous portions and I had to put them away for later. The strips of pork are the first layer inside of the rice paper so the portion size is pretty clear -- I hope they are still just as good in a few hours. The peanut dipping sauce was great as well. Overall reason for 5 stars is related to the combination of price, quality, and expedient service. My total came to $7.75+tax and tip and I could have easily split this with someone else or just gone with the sandwich or spring rolls by themselves. I saw a few people order bubble tea so I think I'll need to try that sometime as well.

Yelp
When it comes to Vietnamese cuisine across the U.S., I've found that it's fairly easy to find the essentials like rice dishes, bún, or ph . Bánh mì is another story, as most sit-down restaurants don't feature it, or the rendition is poorly done. Vegetarian sandwiches are usually the afterthought since the basic version of the Vietnamese classic features liver pâté. I'm very happy to report that Curbside provides ample vegetarian options that stand well next to their meat selections. Curbside is now a two year old operation, located at the intersection of Nickerson St and Queen Anne Ave in the Shell Gas Station parking lot. It's an easy area to overlook, on the northern fringe of the Queen Anne area next to the canal and not quite close enough to Freemont. Also, it is not so much a traditional mobile food truck, rather a stationary trailer with outside patio furniture for seating. Curbside focuses on appetizers like spring rolls (fried and fresh), ph (beef and vegetable stocks), bánh mì, bún, and drink options like bubble tea and Vietnamese iced coffee. My partner and I stuck with the sandwich option for our lunch order. We ordered the tofu bánh mì, two vegetarian spring rolls, mango bubble tea, and water. The total bill came to about $15, a real steal especially considering the quality of the food. We waited a total of 10 minutes for the food to arrive from the truck, with 4 orders ahead of us when we ordered. I found this to be acceptable given similar wait times at other food trucks. The fresh spring rolls are filled with the same vegetable ingredients found in the bánh mì, with the exception of jalapenos. They come with a peanut dipping sauce and are quite flavorful, though they were missing several ingredients like various herbs (mint, basil) that I expect in a fresh spring roll. The bubble tea is well done and is comparable to what you would expect from the drink. What stood out the most for both of us however, was the tofu bánh mì. Let's start with the french bread. It's bigger than you would think, and is perfectly baked. Browned and crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. The last bánh mì I tasted in my culinary journeys was stingy on both the protein filling and the vegetables. Curbside goes out of their way to ensure this won't be the case. Each bánh mì we ordered was stuffed with vegetables (herbs, cucumber, carrots, jalapenos, et al.), slathered in their special mayo, and filled with golden fried triangles of tofu. Each bite was better than the last, but thanks to their portion sizes I was left very satisfied at the end of the meal. Overall I have to say that Curbside offers the best vegetarian bánh mì I've experienced to date. Vegetarians should take note, as these dishes are not a culinary also ran, but strong enough to hold their own up against the rest of the menu.

Yelp
Good food, nice people :) just a reminder they charge 50 cents if you pay using your card, but no big deal!

Yelp
Wow, what a pleasant surprise. I just ordered their beef pho (p1) and it is on point!! I've been craving pho and this place is down the street from me. So glad I gave it a try. I will defiantly be back to try their ban mi. The only thing I wasn't thrilled with was the pork spring rolls. The pork was too dry. However The peanut dipping sauce was awesome. I'll give the veggie spring rolls a try next time I'm there.

Kallie H.

Yelp
Best Bahn Mi my boyfriend and I have ever had. We've eaten plenty of delicious Vietnamese food in Portland, OR and with his families homemade cooking - but their BBQ Pork was so tender and delicious. Hoping to get there again before we leave Seattle.
google avatar

Haylee N.

Yelp
This place is a gem. I live close by, so it's kind of amazing. The Pho and Banh Mi sandwiches are delicious! I've also tried the fresh rolls and they are good as well. I do wish they had some sort of sauce or aioli in the Banh Mi sandwiches to moisten them a bit, but other than that they are very fresh and tasty. Great food and I plan on coming back.
google avatar

Matt R.

Yelp
I simply love the Banh Mi sandwich. I've eaten thousands of them and enjoy at least a couple a week. They're the perfect balance of flavor and texture, and the perfect mixture of French and Vietnamese cuisine. The pate, the cilantro, the daicon, the jalapenos- I love them all. I hope to visit Vietnam one day just for the sandwiches. Banh Mi's are my favorite food by far. With that said- Curbside do a pretty damn good Banh Mi. The flavors are terrific, the ingredients fresh, the price point is affordable at $3.50-$4 per sandwich. They offer Vietnamese cold cuts, tofu, chicken, and pork. They take a few minutes to make - a good sign that they are fresh & not pre-made. My only problem with their Banh Mi is the bread- which is a very important part of sandwich. Unfortunately their bread is a mouth killer. Too crunchy and the roof of my mouth was destroyed after lunch. It's a shame really because besides the bread- I really enjoyed the sandwich. I'll give them another shot because I know the bread can be hit and miss at many places. If you like Banh Mi's like I do- I highly suggest you give Curbside a try.

Yelp
When I saw this truck sitting in the Shell parking lot, I was super excited, because I work nearby, and there is a serious lack of good lunch places in the area! But it tormented me for weeks (months?) as it sat, not yet open. But no longer! It's finally open! I should say, so far I've only had the pork bahn mi, but I've had it twice, so they're definitely doing something right. This is a classic bahn mi, with the correct proportions of veggies, meat and sauce. And it's only $3.50, which is the right price for bahn mi. The guy running the truck is friendly and recognized me the second time I came, which is always nice. I'll definitely be back! NOTE: Right now they only accept cash, but expect to be able to take cards soon.

Yelp
This place recently opened near my house and I just had my first chance to try it out. I would have gone earlier, but they were initially only open 10-2 M-F. They have recently changed their hours and now they close at 6pm, for which I am pleased. They were very nice people and since it was raining, they told me I could wait in my car and they would bring my order to me when it was ready. Pretty cool, no? As a caveat, I spent a month in Vietnam a couple years ago and ate my way from the Mekong Delta to Hanoi, so I'd like to think my opinion is not entirely vacuous, but whatever. I ordered spring rolls, vermicelli noodle bowl with pork, and the Vietnamese beef stew. Pho restaurants aside, I've never been to a Vietnamese restaurant without ordering spring rolls. I love them. If I could eat them by shoving them into my eyes, believe me, I'd do it. These spring rolls were everything I wanted them to be. Taste, texture, freshness.... all there. I particularly liked the relatively large shrimp, that crunchy fried thing in the middle, and the dipping sauce was a nice balance of hoisin and peanut sauce. Awesome. The other two dishes I was less familiar with, so I had no expectations going in. The stew consisted of large chunks of tender beef that were somewhat fatty(fattiness is to be expected in such dishes) and large pieces of carrot in a beef broth that is the consistency of pho. Pretty simple. The broth has some complexities going on with a pretty strong anise flavor that may be a turn off for some. I usually only like the anise flavor when I'm getting sideways from drinking Jaegermeister, but I was pretty pleased with this broth. The stew comes with a banh mi baguette that is fantastic by itself or for dipping. Light and soft on the inside, crispy but not too hard on the outside. The vermicelli noodle bowl is a generous serving of noodles with bean sprouts, carrot, green onion, daikon. I ordered mine with grilled pork. Again, all fresh ingredients. It comes with a thin sauce that is likely a mixture of fish sauce, lemon juice and garlic that you pour over everything before proceeding to shovel it into your dome. All in all, a really good experience and I look forward to trying some of their other menu items. Also, they take debit/credit for a $.50 charge.

Yelp
Always a line because the food is cheap and tasty. The fresh spring rolls are to die for.

Yelp
Whoohoo! Thank you Curbside for breathing new life into the North Queen Anne area. Very lively flavors from this Vietnamese menu. The spring rolls are very fresh, the Vietnamese sandwiches are so damn good and the bread is that perfect crusty on the outside and soft on the inside that you'd expect from a quality baguette. The fried rice with chicken features an entire leg quarter of crispy skin chicken and not some chopped up mystery meat. Treat yourself to a Vietnamese Iced coffee and prepare to have your senses blown away. All this at very reasonable prices. Damn good stuff!

Yelp
Pork noodle bowl with spring roll $9. Totally delicious! Excellent portion. I love the flavors on the pork. It was a little different than I'm used to in a good way. Just a full spice profile. The guy was super chipper. Hard to get suggestions from him but ultimately recommended pork. Glad I went with it.

Yelp
I would have to agree with most of the other reviews, this place is pretty good. I work nearby and its easy to get to for lunch. The BBQ pork sandwich and egg rolls is my go to meal. The pork is really flavorful, and the bread is really fresh. For such a big sandwich you don't get a lot of meat, but at $3.75 you can't really complain either. You may need a side to complete the meal but those are good too. They also just started taking cards so I will probably be eating here more often.

Yelp
Best bahn mi in Seattle! I've been looking everywhere for a place like this! I LOVE the lemongrass steak bahn mi. It's packed with flavor and the price is right. I've had the other bahn mi as well, and they are all really good. I can't speak for the pho because this place doesn't have the chile oil that is required for my proper pho eating. I'll go here again and again for the bahn mi though!

Yelp
So, I typically weigh things out over an amount of time to make sure that I can give honest and genuine feedback. After several visits to Curbside in the course of the time they first opened to time, here's my verdict: Pros: THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! Prices are ridiculously fair for the quality and quantity that you get. I've tried everything from their rice dishes, bahn mi sandwiches, beverages, spring rolls, to their noodle bowls (pho) and I cannot get enough! ALL their food is bursting with flavors and never fails to satisfy my hunger and cravings. I work in an office in walking distance and they always have only good things to say. "There's so much food that I can split it into two meals." "I can finally have some gluten free options in the area." "Our clients are always impressed and get to experience of a variety of foods in the area, and they always want to go back." Their Pho ga (Pho noodles with chicken) literally is the best Pho I've had and I have had a LOT of pho. Everyone whom I've introduced it to has all reacted the same and agreed with me that it's changed their lives! Haha, yes, that's how enthusiastic we are about the Chicken Pho. Of course, everything else is good so don't limit yourself. What makes this food truck even better is how friendly everyone that works is with every customer. They remember you, they're eager to give quality service, and if there's anything they missed, they're quick to fix it! There's outside seating! Cons: It's in a busy area so parking is not ideal and if you're limited on time for lunch, it would be best to plan ahead and expect wait time during the rush hour. Also, it's located in a gas station parking lot, so there's always cars coming and going. Although there's outside seating, it's right by a busy street so it's not going to be a very quiet meal. So far every time I've called to try to place an order in advance or to call if some things are still in stock at the end of the day (there are times they run out of things. Who can blame 'em? They're popular!) so that my trip is not in vain, but no one has ever picked up.
