"When Curbside closed in 2018 it seemed that Nickerson Street, a section of Queen Anne steps away from the canal but surprisingly isolated from most restaurants, had lost a vital piece of the neighborhood. However, apparently good things come to those who wait and Curbside Deli reopened last November with a permanent building replacing the food truck. Once again, it’s serving a faithful clientele of university students, locals, and nearby workers. With perfectly quick-pickled daikon/carrots and tender marinated meats, Curbside’s pork banh mi is likely Seattle’s best north of the ID. To top it off, the grilled chicken rice plate served with broken rice and fish sauce offers an ideal mini-picnic by the canal. –Charlie Lahud-Zahner" - Eater Staff
