Saw this place advertised on Instagram and it was delicious!! There are some kinks which I’ll elaborate on, but overall we enjoyed the food and its flavors. The Tikka Masala is delicious, and we did get it with chicken, but between both me and my husband’s dish, there was a lot of fat on the chicken. We don’t mind a little here and there, but almost every piece was fatty, so it was a little off putting. Also, when it was placed on our table, some of it spilt from the bowls onto the table and splattered, but it was never cleaned up, nor did anyone bring a napkin for us to clean it up so it felt a bit messy. The flavors though in the tikka masala were delicious, as well as the naan!! It all tasted so fresh, and the mango lassi is top tier! We tried the Dahi Puri and that was amazing!! We would go back just for those as a snack! Everything was balanced perfectly. The inside of the restaurant is very open and the host was welcoming upon entering, and we were seated quickly. There was a live DJ for the night that played Indian music; however, there was one lady that was singing for the majority of the time we were there, and it was very…. pitchy you could say. We really enjoyed the Indian music to start and it felt very authentic, but the other songs that were sung, did not fit, needless to say. Unfortunately it was very loud, too. My husband and I couldn’t have much conversation because the singing drowned out so much~ a bit of a bummer since this was our Valentine’s night. Outside of these little elements, it truly does seem like a solid restaurant in the making and they’ve already got a great start underway! We’d love to go back again sometime.
