Everyone ends up at Cvi.che 105 eventually, and that’s OK - Review - Miami - The Infatuation

"Cvi.che 105 is a magnet for cruise tourists and a perpetual backup plan for last-minute group dinners. The ceviche samplers, lomo saltado, and giant Pucará bulls are there for City National Bank’s accounting staff on any given Tuesday at 6:45pm. With four locations across Miami, you can think of it as a Peruvian Hillstone—only the restaurant is decorated more like a stockbroker’s Brickell bachelor pad. Their first (and most popular) location in Downtown is 70% black marble. It isn’t among the best Peruvian restaurants in Miami, but the service is quick, the pisco sours are strong, and ceviche samplers and chaufas do the job. Food Rundown Trílogia De Ceviches You can choose between swai and corvina (go with corvina). Our favorite from this trio is the rocoto because the leche de tigre has a bit more heat. An honorable mention to the Hershey’s Kiss dollops of sweet potato puree as well. PlayMute video credit: Ryan Pfeffer Tacu Tacu Con Lomo Saltado This dish can be a bit inconsistent. We’ve had it before when the lomo is tender and the tacu tacu has a crunchy crust and fluffy center. And we’ve had it when the lomo is overcooked and the sauce tastes like a month’s worth of sodium. photo credit: Mariana Trabanino Suspiro Limeño It’s a straightforward suspiro limeño with a lot of rich dulce de leche. The menu describes it as “seductive and leading us to the happiness we deserve.” We don’t completely disagree with that sentiment. PlayMute video credit: Mariana Trabanino" - Mariana Trabanino

"Juan Chipoclo’s award-winning Peruvian restaurant is known for its vibrant atmosphere and its playful ceviche list. Highlights include the la caleta de pusucana made with white fish, shrimp, scallops, and leche de tigre, or the orgia marina mixta, which blends an assortment of seafood with leche de tigre and a dose of smokey yellow pepper. Cocktails like the pisco sour are another draw." - Juliana Accioly

"If you’re in the mood for bold flavors, order Peruvian eats from CVI.CHE 105. Located downtown, the restaurant serves some of the South American nation’s most iconic dishes, including ceviche and lomo saltado, the Peruvian answer to steak frites. If you’re in the mood for something else, feast your grumbling belly on pescado a lo macho: fish smothered with creamy seafood sauce." - Vox Creative
