Been here twice now & this has to be our favorite Italian restaurant outside of Italy. The food is top notch. Francesca is a fantastic server who made the experience elite.

I went to Da Bianca Trattoria for a family celebration and was so happy to enjoy my dinner at this East Orange Italian restaurant. I made a last minute reservation the night before and so glad they accommodated my request. The dining room's interior has a cool Mediterranean coastal vibe and when it comes to the service they are very knowledgeable with the menu and adult beverage pairings. The menu is straightforward with protein options available for entrees. I will definitely be back soon to try other dishes. 😍

I ordered the codfish special. It was exceptionally delicious. Very fresh large piece of fish smothered in tangy tomato caper sauce. Service was both knowledgeable and engaging. I highly recommend this restaurant.

First time coming here. Came right before close not even realizing it. Super nice staff. We ordered to go. It was packaged nicely. Kids meal — buttered pasta with parmesan cheese, marinara with meat balls, cheese ravioli with marinara sauce and caprese salad. We are new to the area but this place definitely didn’t disappoint.

This is such a hidden gem! Came here to celebrate a birthday. The place has a chic vibe and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Their complimentary garlic bread is delicious! We started with calamari and got chicken piccata and farfalle venizia for our entrees. Ended the meal on a sweet note with spumoni. Calamari- Fried to perfection with a crispy crust and chewy interior. The seafood is fresh and tasty. Served with marinara sauce. Chicken Piccata- Chicken is tender and juicy. Sauce is flavorful with a zesty finish. Served with a vegetable medley and a side of pasta. Nice and filling! Farfalle Venizia- This entree's portions are huge! You get a generous amount of pasta with delicious red sauce. It's accented with italian sausage, mushrooms, and peas. I was only able to eat half and the leftovers are even better the next day. Spumoni- A refreshing blend of pistachio, cherry, and chocolate ice cream. They shaped it into a ball dusted with cocoa powder. Props for the creativity! Wonderful experience overall!

Had my birthday dinner here last Sunday and was blown away by the service and food! We had a party of 6 adults, a newborn and a toddler. When we walked in, the table and high chair were all set up for us already. The waiter came out with a chalkboard of specials (nice to have a visual instead of them just rattling off specials and us not remembering). We ordered: -Calamari Fritti ($18) - we ordered 2 platters. My dad likes it so much he basically ate it as his entree haha. Very lightly fried, not a very thick batter or deep fry so I could see some people saying it's a little too light for them -Rigatoni al Gorgonzola e Salsiccia ($25.50) - creamy gorgonzola sauce, really good and flavorful. My BIL ordered it but I want to try it next time -Farfalle Genovese ($23.95) - bowtie with pesto. I really enjoyed the dish, chicken was smooth and not that noticeable because they were cut into small pieces. -Farfalle Veneziana ($25.50) - sausage, mushrooms, peas in a creamy tomato sauce - almost like vodka sauce. Really delicious! -Pollo Parmigiana ($29.95) - OK 6/10, we prefer Barolo's as we like a deeper, heartier, thicker breading. My husband is a pretty harsh critic of chicken parmesan being from the East Coast so if it's not like Carmine's, he doesn't like it. Other stuff on the menu I'd like to try on my next visit is gnocchi, their lasagna verde, ravioli with cream sauce and linguini alle vongole. Service was very on point and very fast (for those with young children, this is so important!) So much to try - I'll definitely be coming back!

Another fantastic dinner to start the Holiday season. Nothing better than Irvine Park to see the lights and fresh homemade Italian specialties to top it off. Merry Christmas

I really like this place for a nice dinner. It's not a huge place, so it helps to make a reservation, but if you're going during the week, the wait isn't crazy long. My family likes to go here when we're dressed well and want something nice. It's dimly lit and mellow. They usually have an appetizer, entree, and dessert special. The food is really great too. Fresh ingredients and generous portions. I love the farfalle Genovese.

We have lived in the neighborhood longer than Da Bianca has existed here. Bianca herself used to helm this cozy community spot. The prices gave gone up understandably but sadly the service hasn't caught up. I feel ignored every time we come here, maybe 2-4 times a year. Where is Bianca's hospitality? Usually the fabulous food reduces frustration but even that was lacking last night. Two items were cold upon being served and had to be sent back. No longer satisfied in Orange.

Excellent calamari and pasta ala checca. Service is very good even as they are very busy. Love the ambiance as owner is always very graceful and courteous .

Hidden gem for sure...food is fantastic and service is always very good. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is because they charge a $35 corkage fee for bringing your own wine it...which is pretty steep all things considered and their own wine list is really not all that impressive, if I'm being honest. Otherwise, definitely one to come back to and enjoy.

First let me say the food was so delicious!! Absolutely amazing!! Cute quaint little place, the ambiance is a vibe. The wait staff was so polite always checking in on us and making sure we're good! I ate the eggplant dish, gnocchi and Ceaser salad. Their eggplant was so delicious, it was grilled instead of fried which I appreciated the freshness that it brought. The gnocchi was soft and pillow like. So good!! The ceaser salad hit the spot! I wanted to ask for that recipe!! I would for sure drive out of my way to go there again! Everything was just so amazing!!

Like a visit to Italy, minus the exorbitant airfare, the missed flights and the obligatory Pat down before you get on the plane. This wonderful restaurant every night has what seems like seven or eight specials that are all delectable. I have been here many times and never been disappointed. Had dinner with an old friend last Saturday evening and I just finished the leftovers and they were even better than when they were served up Saturday evening. Whether it's something as simple as spaghetti, Bolognese or you want something exotic, they have it on the menu or will surprise you with the request. A fun place to go to celebrate or just to relax.

Da Bianca Trattoria has now been our favorite restaurant since the first time we came here in 2017. The staff is like family to us and the owner Marjan a wonderful friend. This place has authentic Italian food and specials each week. Seafood, lamb and pasta. Seasonal delights too. Fun place for all our family celebrations and we love bringing friends. Best kept secrets in the hills of Orange.

Amazing lasagna! The exterior may be unassuming, but inside it's upscale and inviting. The food is absolutely delicious, with the lasagna being a clear standout. Will definitely be back!

Make a reservation. It gets busy, even on a random Tuesday. Friendly from. The moment we stepped in. Pasta portions are huge. Food is really good, nice variety of Options. Seafood, chicken dishes, pastas and appetizers offer so many selections.

Meals to savor We like to dine here for special occasions, and last time we chose a Tuesday night when they weren't too busy. The conversation of the four in our family became focused on the quality and flavor of the appetizer (ravioli in mushroom sauce). "I could eat this sauce on everything!" We each enjoyed our entrees so much, we shared bites with each other and discussed which was best. Perhaps we didn't display the best dining room etiquette, but we certainly enjoyed our meals. It was a treat to savor every bite in pleasant surroundings. Meals are our family's time to converse and catch up on our thoughts and experiences. This meal turned our thoughts to the enjoyment of our food, and it made for a pleasant experience. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. An espresso and dessert capped off a memorable evening. We look forward to going back and trying new dishes.

A warm and inviting dining experience. Lots of delicious options and many staff members have worked there for years and years. Nestled in a small mall just across from Santiago College in Orange. Make sure that you try it. You'll have a delicious meal and be treated as family.

Amazing!! Tonight was one of best dining experiences that I have had in a very long time. A very long time! The ambience is great and the staff is amazing- very friendly and welcoming. We started with the calamari which was delicious. I enjoyed the penne alla vodka and my wife enjoyed the chicken Alfredo. We both kept eating off of each other's plate because both dishes were so good! Finished it off with a cannoli and an espresso. Franco was our waiter and did an amazing job! All around amazing.

Dining in is always fabulous, this Christmas I decided to order the Christmas lasagna, advertised for 10-12. Expecting a large pan, the pan size was just over 1/2 the size I expected. Following the directions to a tee, the lasagna was just a pile of mush, I had 11 people total, very small portions is all that was allotted. For the approx $117.00 it was a waste of money and an embarrassing meal to serve.

Every dish I've had here has been exceptional. Everybody have taken here agrees. As I told the owner, if your food sucked, I would come back just for the service alone. It is phenomenal. However the food is just as great as the service so there's no reason for you not to try this place. My new favorite restaurant!

We came here for dinner this past weekend, which was our first time here, and we were extremely impressed! It's a very intimate restaurant with a calm and inviting feel. We had made reservations, and when we walked in we were nicely greeted and seated immediately. That was a nice start. We ordered the dinner salad, minestrone soup, chicken marsala, and chicken piccata. All the dishes were delicious! The service was on point. It felt like all the staff there was attentive and always coming around checking on us. Our server was very friendly, but other staff came by and asked if we needed drink refills, needed more bread, cleared dishes from the table, etc. It was a nice touch. You could see that they treated all patrons there with care and attention. We really look forward to coming back for dinner soon. I will order the chicken marsala again, as it was so incredible!

This is an update to my review based on the immoral behavior of the business owner. The owner admitted in a private message to me that the price discrepancy of the salmon fillet was not listed on the menu next to the pasta, but yet she proceeded to write rude and malicious comments to my honest, constructive feedback. How very fitting it is that the owner references Women's History Month, when she herself would rather trash talk instead of working hard to improve the food quality and updating the menus. I guess she has nothing better to do. If you read the owner's aggressive comments to other Yelpers, you can see the pattern that she is trying to intimidate reviewers to prevent any negative reviews. Just because you're a small business doesn't give you the right to bully honest Yelpers. A restaurant that has this poor of management is not deserving of the initial 3 star rating I wrote. No one should support a business that doesn't want to grow and improve and instead prefers to promote hostility. To quote Taylor Swift, "All you're ever gonna be is mean."

The more I visit Da Bianca, the more I realize you just can't find better Italian food. From Newport Beach to Naples, nothing compares. You are doing yourself a massive disservice and don't have a credible culinary opinion if you haven't tried this place. Every dish is a masterclass in comfort and flavor. The chicken piccata is one of my personal favorites, thin, tender cutlets bathed in a buttery lemon-caper sauce that hits the perfect balance of tangy and rich. It comes with fresh vegetables and pasta on the side, rounding out a meal that feels both indulgent and homemade. Other standouts for me are the chicken parm and the lasagna, both packed with flavor, generously portioned, and consistently top-tier It's no surprise that the few negative reviews on this page don't even mention the food, anything negative would be an outright lie. It's the kind of place you'll find yourself coming back to again and again, whether for a special night out or just a comforting dinner. Highly recommend.

We live close by and try to support local businesses. We went there for a Mother's Day celebration on Saturday night and when the bill came there was a corkage fee of $35. (In the past it was $20 or $25)Now this place is decent but it's not Ruth Chris. I asked the waiter if this was right and he said yes. I asked if there was a manager I could speak with and he said no. It's not a huge deal more a matter of principle. The event just kind of sucked the life out of the party. There's plenty of other places to go we likely won't be going back!

Great spot! Da Bianca is a cozy restaurant, so I'd definitely recommend a reservation - they were packed even on a weeknight! The food was delicious, and I love that you can add spice to any pasta (plus, they offer a gluten-free pasta option!). I had the Spicy Rigatoni Carmella & the extra kick added so much flavor. Service was super friendly and perfectly attentive. I'll definitely be back!

Amazing food and service. Franco was amazing he was speaking to us in Italian and let us feel like we were in Italy. Food was delicious and traditional. Can't wait to go back and try new items. Thanks Franco again for your customer service.

Have staff able to make separate checks for larger groups. It took longer to divide the check and ring each card separately . Not charge $4.00 for a CAN of cola delivered to the table. You charge $11 for a Caesar salad and $9 to add shrimp. $11 Romaine lettuce, really? The ambiance was noisy and the decor nothing special. The food was average at best. Don't think the 8 of us be back. Sorry...

Ate here 8/3/25. Service is 5 star+, professional, courteous, attentive but not too attentive. Restaurant is small, with large windows. Decor is contemporary, boring, grey, white and silver. Lacks pops of color. Food is 3 stars. Bolognese was bland, with more mushrooms than meat in the sauce, lacked flavor and color. Gnocchi was perfectly cooked, sauce was flavorful. Both dishes were cold when they arrived at the table. Plating lacked finesse; it was just an uninteresting plate of food. Portions were on the small side. I've had better. Won't be back.

Bottom line food is really good! We went midweek on Wed eve at 6 pm. The restaurant itself is not big and the tables are crowded. Service is great, a bit relaxed & on slow side but fine for a leisurely dinner. Started with the Appetizer special which one is buratta. 5 stars delicious. The complementary garlic bread is 5 stars yummy! Mains included ravioli 4 stars. Orecchiette capricciose pasta, 3 stars because it was a bit drier than anticipated. Gluten free Rigatoni Al Gorgonzola pasta 5 stars super creamy and yummy. The cannoli was delicious 5 stars. We ordered a glass of wine. We didn't think the selection on wine list was very good. Seemed like a some people were regulars & we saw them bring in their own wine. $25 corkage fee. The restaurant is set back from the street in a strip mall lot.

10/10 when it comes to food & service! We recently did my grandpas celebration of life at this restaurant and I was very pleased. It's a very small intimate space but it gives off very authentic Italian spot. The one thing I HAVE to rave about is their ravioli! Since it was a preset menu, I am unsure the name of it, but attached the picture. This was the BEST ravioli/pasta I have ever had. Flavor was absolutely perfect. That was just the appetizer but that is ALL I wanted. The rest was buffet style and everything I ate was delicious. The serves were attentive and friendly and I honestly will be coming back just based on the food. Thank you for hosting us for such an event. My grandpa would've loved it!

The food here is wonderful, it's hard to pick just one entree! The service feels very family owned and the restaurant itself is quaint.

Food was good. My waiter was unfriendly- I'm not sure what his name is. When we got there we were sat at a table that had a dirty cup waiting to be drank from and my plate was also dirty. There were 3 gnats flying over the food and table.

Love love love this restaurant! I've been coming here for about a year and found it on Yelp while looking for good Italian food near me. It's a cute little place and the service has always been top notch. The food is incredible, very authentic and fresh. Great for a date night, a celebration, or just a craving for some delicious food.

Bianca, you a cuss me of throwing a tantrum which is not true. I started that your waiter Franco was rude and when I asked to speak to a manager he responded there's no manager available. You don't care about customers at all. Maybe in the wine list it may show the corsage fee but not on the food menu so quit your tantrum and respect your customers and quit lying .

Tonight Susie and I tried an Italian restaurant called Da Bianca Trattoria. The food and service was great. Our server Nuri was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and wine selections. Being Italian the restaurant definitely had a warm and inviting feel. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend.

If you are seeking delicious Italian food, a friendly atmosphere among friends, and good wine, LOOK NO FURTHER! You will not be dissapointed with Da Bianca Trattoria. It is by far one of the best kept secrets in Orange. You will be anticipating your next visit once you have become a 'regular'. I don't live in Cali, my son and family do, this is Da Bianca is one of his family's favorites (and mine). Da Bianca has spoiled me for Italian food. They have had the same chef for over 20 years (a remarkable fact in itself), the food is amazing, service is wonderful, there is not a huge wait, ambience is comforting, and dessert is devine.

Horrible customer service....would not accommodate for a larger party claiming all tables were reserved; however, a table next to us was left unoccupied the entire night. Food was sub par. The veal was chewy and tough and I could've made a better side of pasta with Ragu sauce.

We were sitting in the "wine garden" tonight for the first time, The food was very good, Bianca style like in the restaurant. The ambiance is a little sparse, not too much garden but some nice little flower arrangements on the table. The special menu for outside though is to be reconsidered. We had 2 appetizers, 3 glasses of wine and some garlic bread and we paid $97 total. Outrageous. We won't ever go back to that "wine garden".

Love, love,love! My husband and I have been coming for years and they never disappoint! We have also ordered catering from them and always just as good!

Always a pleasure to dine in this small but very welcoming restaurant. Marjan, the hostess and owner, always greets guests with a warm smile and seems genuinely happy to see them. The food and service is reasonably priced and excellent. I wish her and her staff the best going forward.

Somehow, although I have lived in Irvine since 1973 , I have missed this gem of an Italian restaurant on Chapman and Newport. I had good friends that took me there for dinner recently. It was so clean, friendly and with delicious food. The service was above and beyond. So many entree choices it is hard to decide. I certainly will be returning.
