Best Dishes Eater Editors Ate This Week: June 3 - Eater LA

"Dada in Echo Park takes a low-key approach with a minimally appointed dining room. Their Kurobuta pork chop, accented with grilled cabbage and pickled mustard seeds, is a standout dish." - Eater Staff

Dada Echo Park - Review - Echo Park - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Dada Echo Park is a semi-hidden restaurant/bar that looks like you might need a password to get in (you don’t). The doorway is in a service alley behind Dada Market and Little Fish, and inside you’ll find a dark lounge leading to a fenced patio with a massive tree rising through the middle. Mysterious entrance aside, Dada Bar stays on the cool side of the speakeasy trend, mostly because it embraces the breezy bistro rubric. A host will give you the option of sipping kumquat margaritas with shaggy art couples at the candlelit bar, or having a sit-down dinner involving a juicy pork chop and brothy bean stew in the skylit dining room. On weekends, disco DJs take over the hi-fi stereo system, turning every room into a dancefloor. But even on a random weeknight, Dada Bar is a perfect under-the-radar hang (at least for now)." - Nikko Duren

The 10 Hottest Cocktail Spots in Los Angeles

"Head to the alley behind Dada Market in Echo Park to find this mysterious restaurant and bar. Try the Orange Velvet, a take on a gimlet with orange and carrot, or the Manifest Yes, a kumquat and fennel margarita. Espresso martini fans should try the Carpool, which is made with vodka, creme de cassis, cocoa, cold brew, and coffee liqueur." - Mona Holmes, Rebecca Roland, Eater Staff

Google
I’m more for the prepared menu but if you’re looking for some specialty grocery items from various corners of the globe they got you. But cmon, pull up for the fish sando. Don’t let the price intimidate you. Treat yourself. Bring a friend and have them order the tuna sando!

Beautiful market with all you need for a lovely afternoon by Silver Lake. Well curated international food and drinks. Love the vibe.

Google
The options of bread and selection on staff food are really good! I want to believe everything is 100% organic cuz some prices are kinda "exaggerated" also the breakfast options are really good! But this is yes totally overpriced ! Not even Beverly hills or West Hollywood has those high prices for breakfast

Google

I really dig this all-day concept. Sick selection of wines and dry goods. Bar is gorgeous! Feels like Milan or Barcelona in the middle of Echo Park.

Love this spot! So many special items that are less than what I expected to pay. Great place to grab some good olive oil or fancy snacks.

Google
Lukewarm, over priced coffee and barista who told me not to sit at the bar, where there were seats, because it had to be kept clear.

Yelp
Walking back to our car when leaving Bar Flores and my friend said "is the market still open?!" And to our surprise, Nicole from Dada Market was outside and offered us excellent service. 10/10. Give her a promotion and a raise. Her enthusiasm and positive energy lit up our entire night. We are going to regularly shop at Dada Market now for our grocery just because of this experience. We will be back this week to spend more time browsing the options. Thank you, Nicole!

Yelp
This is such a great little market! Located by little Fish, this was the ideal shopping spot while we were waiting for our food. Very friendly and helpful, they have so many delicious local goods available. Everything is fresh and unique, items you don't find it regular grocery stores. Highly recommended!

Yelp
This is the epitome of a win-win. This beautifully curated market is a laptop-free zone with a counter where you can enjoy a drink or dine from one of Echo Park's newest gems, Little Fish. You could spend a lot of time in here. Wine, Asian ingredients and condiments, tinned fish, fresh baked baguettes and so much more. Probably my favorite find in the last month or so.

Yelp
This is a mini market that shared a location with little fish echo park; though in the same place they have different cashiers so whatever you get at the market you have to pay at the left hand side by the open fridge, and if you want to order food and drinks you have to do so at the bar. Though the place is small they have cases of cheeses, breads, drinks, ingredients, dry pastas, and even small selection of wines. They are new in the neighborhood but it's been very busy due to having little fish there. Street parking or a paid lot on the back.

Yelp
I'm sorry. This place makes good coffee. But 5.75 for a cortado is absolutely criminal. This place is by far the most expensive in Los Angeles. Maru Coffee $4.50 Kumquat $4.75 Erewhon $5.00 Alchemist $4.50 Intellegentsia 4.75 La colombe 4.00 Come on guys.

Yelp
Love this place. Such a great addition to the neighborhood. Owned and operated by a local woman from Echo Park the food and drinks are exceptional. Everyone is super friendly and ambience is so nice. The congee for breakfast and fish sandwiches for lunch are so good!

Yelp
Beautiful space. Attached to DADA COFFEE and next to LITTLE FISH ECHO PARK. Went to farmers market on Friday evening and then stopped in here for everything else I needed.

Yelp
Decent selection of good quality food produce & booze in a nicely laid out market. Just wish they'd opened two blocks down the street from me b/c it would have been my daily go to for fresh baguettes & lots of other everyday grocery items.
