Reasonably priced comedy. Love all the random paintings and the general vibe of the building. 30 years and still going strong! If you want to support the local scene, this is the place for you. They are non profit and take volunteers to help out with the shows. They have a concession area complete with alcohol and non alcoholic options. Overall, I definitely recommend going here if you are in the area or not! My date and I drive an hour and 20 minutes to come out and enjoyed every minute of the laughs!

We always have the best time when we see a show at dad's garage. The Christmas Carol invasion is one of our favorites. My friends have been seeing it for years, and now I have made it a part of my annual Christmas tradition. The cast is super fun and I love that as they're performing they chuckle and laugh at the comedy that is taking place. The Christmas invader is usually very much in character and adds a something extra to the performance. Definitely a spot you want to check out on a regular basis. When I have visitors in town, I check their schedule for events b/c they always put on something great! I strongly recommend making this a part of your holiday tradition.

Google
Dad’s Garage is so much fun! Love the vibe and they have events that can appeal to anyone. I want to give a shoutout to the parking security guy working on 6/29. He was so friendly and helpful! Only downside is that some of their women’s toilets were out of order the last time I went, which caused a big wait time for the ladies.

It was my first time attending a live Improv Show and it was so much fun. It was a Dungeons and Dragons theme and very entertaining. They also have a concessions stand for drinks and snacks. I wish they had more food options.

Google
Went to go see Wicket tonight and it was amazing! The vocals are insane, I am completely convinced one of the ladies is Opera trained. It was quirky, hilarious and so much fun! I love how they interact with the audience!!!

Dad's Garage was great! I've watched a lot of Improv, and they are very talented. Their collaboration was stunning. Very funny!

Google
Had a great time here! Both the front staff as well as the performers were awesome, friendly people. The show itself was hilarious and well worth checking out. You can tell everybody really cares about putting on the best show possible!

My wife and I were visiting ATL from another state. We just happen to see this spot when looking around the area on google maps. I love comedy shows but have never been to one in person. We came here and are obsessed with it! Loved it so much we attended multiple shows on different nights during our stay. They have a big parking lot so that’s a plus. I have never laughed so hard in my life. The audience was full of people of all ages, gender, and race. This is an art form that translates to a wide range of people. Get ready to be caught off guard and expect the unexpected. Really cool that they give a special shoutout to all the volunteers during the show too. We will 100% be back. And it would be cool to see other locations pop up in the future 👀 We spoke with TIM after seeing our last show and he was great. Took time to talk about the history of their program and gave us recommendations on what else to visit on our trip

Yelp
Second time coming here, first time was years ago for an Improv Class. Going downtown SUUUUCKS but here's one of the best parts ... FREE PARKING! And it's so close to the fun Church Bar. You will not find food here. Do not come hungry! The protein bars, chips and candy won't fill you up. Don't be like Kevin. The stage is upstairs and you enter in the bar area downstairs. They have a nice waiting room with plenty of beer, wine and drinks. They have a strict attendance policy, so make sure you arrive at least 30 min early. It's Improv so it can be hit or miss. We saw the Christmas Carol Invasion, where a random character invades scenes and the characters have to play along. It got hilariously awkward when the characters broke character bc of the invasion and didn't know what to say . I loved it when they stared at each other, laughing, unsure what to say. This is a great venue. Grab a middle row seat, as they are cushier. Seats are assigned, fyi. They do an intermission as well. Enjoy the show, Improv rocks!

Yelp
I saw a show here and it was an excellent small venue. Plenty of drink options and snacks. A great crew. Will be back soon.

Yelp
With friends in town, I needed to find some fun, cheap entertainment and luckily I found a great improv show here at Dad's Garage. I'm new to the city so I wasn't sure what to expect. I'll tell you what I wasn't expecting though, a beautifully renovated church building that now serves as a comedy/theatre venue. This spot is tucked away so there isn't a lot of foot traffic. Oh! And they have their own free parking lot! Apparently free parking is a huge debate in ATL rn so this is a huge plus. We came to see Ed, Tom, and Ruben's Hell Show. The tickets were inexpensive, as were the drinks and snacks. Prolly one of the cheaper outing I've had here so far. They have a full bar, beers on tap, and I think I saw canned wines. Also, they have a tasty mead on tap! The show was hilarious! It was an improv format that I have not seen. I definitely recommend you check it out. I think they do it monthly. Also, I saw on the calendar that they have a puppy improv night where they use puppies from a local shelter and after the show you can adopt the puppies! How cute!

Yelp
Dad's Garage Theatre is a great local spot to support the community. It has been there for years and still lasting. The snack bar and drinks were not outrageously priced. The theater was intimate. And I loved how the actors interacted with you. Like come up to you and call you out (or the hubs in our case). Lol. The hubs and I went for a pre-opening event where tickets were discounted. And the engagement from the cast was fun and entertaining. They strolled the aisles and made it seem like you're a part of the story. The acting and singing was so passionate as well. There is dedicated parking. If you're going during prime time opening night, the hubs suggests getting there early. If not, there's always street parking.

Yelp
Dad's Garage is an improv cultural icon in the city of Atlanta. It's amazing to see the kind of creativity that comes out of the venue in terms of both new shows like the TGIF content, Ed, Tom, and Rueben, and longstanding shows like Scandal, TheatreSports, and Invasion: Christmas Carol. The improv classes offered by Dad's are also top notch. Highly recommend this place for a date night, or just a place to chill and have a night of great laughs. A+
google avatar

Yelp
Support your local improv theater. I remember the old Dad's Garage. I went often more than a decade ago for the student discounts. The prices were good. The prices are still good compared to other live venues. The drinks and snack bar was decently priced. I came here for a date night to see Wicket, a star wars parody musical. The plot was predictable but the characters were fun. Would I come here again? Yes. I don't love improv but I'll be back for the scripted performances.

Yelp
Saw To Peach Their Own on Saturday and the show was hilarious! The sketches are set in Atlanta with many scenes about events and landmarks. I splurged for one of the premium seats and could see the crew's facial expressions but also the whole stage so would recommend if the extra $10 is in your budget.

Yelp
Went to see a one man comedy show and had never been to this establishment. Very casual, community theater vibe with a snack bar and merch stand downstairs and theater upstairs. Not really a bad seat in the house. Sound was great quality with good acoustics. Interesting to see other performances to see how it presents as opposed to a comedy show.
google avatar

Krys B.

Yelp
Very fun and friendly improv theatre. The outside space is great for chilling before the show starts.

Ivan L.

Yelp
Staff and show were both amazing! Great group of people and awesome atmosphere. If you enjoy theater, comedies, and are looking for a fun date night I can't recommend these guys enough.

Reece P.

Yelp
So much fun. Great little place to watch a hysterical comedy troupe performing so original and very funny skits. The bar offered snacks and drinks at a reasonable price and the seating was perfect. Perfect for date night.
google avatar

Joel C.

Yelp
Best improv classes in the city! Their shows are always hilarious and so fun. They have a full bar, also. Everyone I interacted with there was super helpful, kind, and engaging. Would highly recommend for classes and comedy shows.

Yelp
Genuine people and their love for the arts in comedy. What more can you ask for? A lovely community that not only provides comedians a stage/platform, but also classes to anyone at any level to learn the art of improv and comedy. The interaction with the audience is always a plus. The venue definitely screams basement/garage vibes with an open concept and small stage with lots of empty space for logistics and the comedians to set up their scene. There is a small bar in the back that serves cooler drinks (aka: beer and the low alcoholic content stuff) and small snacks/candy. Lots of parking space right next to the place and plus side.... FREE PARKING!!! Tickets run from 12$-40$ depending on multiple factors, but the good average would be 16-20$. Will definitely come back!!!

Yelp
We came here with a group for a birthday. We had originally bought tickets with assigned seating for a particular person, but they had to cancel last minute due to weather related issues. The theatre immediately notified us and refunded our money. They replaced the show with an improv show with their local cast. This show was General Admission so we bought tickets to that since we already had the date blocked and sitters lined up. Upon arrival, there is a small lobby where you can pick up your tickets or purchase if you haven't already. There is also a concession stand with food and beverages. Everything was decently priced. From there we hung out and chatted and then took our seats when it became available. There is not a bad seat in the house. The cast was really diverse and funny and really took our suggestions to heart, interacting well with the crowd. There was an intermission and the whole thing lasted about 2 hours. Parking was easy on the street close by on a Saturday night!

Yelp
Amazing place to watch local comedians, do improv and comedy. Everyone was hysterical to watch, and the place was small and intimate parking was easy. It was right across the street and the drinks here we're strong make sure to buy your tickets online before the event I would recommend people to go here.
google avatar

Yelp
Always at least somewhat funny, if not very funny!! Worth the price of the ticket, always under $20/each - get some laughs in at a chill comedy scene. A large free parking lot is available, a rarity in Atlanta. The check-in/lobby area is large, you can buy tickets on-site or online. There's a small bar/snack area plus seating area next to the restrooms down the hall. Head upstairs for the comedy stage, which opens up to several rows and sections of seating. Great for a night-out, no pressures and a handful of restaurants/pubs/brewery are available within walking distance. Recommended for a date-nite, out with friends or by yourself!

Yelp
For the price of $18 for 2 tickets on a Friday night, this was an excellent improv show. Very interactive with the audience! I wish we would've found out about this place earlier. Parking was great and free; they have a whole parking lot directly next door. Will definitely be back!

Scott H.

Yelp
Great bar. We loved it. The bathroom waiting area has an open stairwell that someone will die or be seriously injured on if they have a few drinks and then go to lean back against the wall, only to find that there's no wall and then falling and busting their head on the stairs. If they fix the dangerous stairwell with a chain (that won't also trip people) or some similar measure on the future, I'll raise this to 5 stars because that's seriously the only problem.
google avatar

Dani S.

Yelp
Went here to see my first comedy show and I had a blast! The entire cast was hilarious and the energy was great. I definitely recommend.

Yelp
Holy crap, I loved Dad's Garage so much. I went for a special fundraiser for the Decatur Makers' Space which made for a fun event where the makers shared stories and three actors from Dad's Garage created and incorporated skits based on the tales. I have not laughed so hard in a WHILE. The bar was fun and all unassuming and unpretentious. I won tickets to come back in a silent auction but am sure this will become a regular thing for us!!
google avatar

Kiwini S.

Yelp
9 times out of 10, you'll see a funny live show at an affordable price, especially Theatre Sports. It does seem . that they've had a lot of cast turnover post-Covid so.i no longer recognize all the talent. They seem to have removed cast bios from their site. Small bar. Improv classes offered. Free patking

Yelp
Dad's Garage is now located in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood by Thumbs Up Diner. My friend and I came here for their Friday night Cage Matches where improv groups compete to keep their titles. The tickets were $14 each. This was my second ever improv show and I thoroughly enjoyed it! They facility is clean & has a very casual/welcoming vibe. It was pretty awesome that they had pokemon themed drinks when I went.

Yelp
Up top, it has to be said. Dad's Garage makes for the BEST date, and I will tell you why: You can figure out precisely how funny your date actually is. Does he refrain from laughing the whole time? He thinks he's too cool. Does he laugh at stuff you think is dumb? He's trying too hard. Does he laugh at the right moments? Perfect. The performers are ALWAYS so clever. I am blown away by their creativity and ability to think on their feet. Dad's Garage is such a fun, cheap form of entertainment and it's always a good time. The seats are comfy, you can dress casual OR dress up if you're on your way to another stop. It is fun with friends (or dates) or even if your parents are in town. Located close to some of the O4W stops, you can definitely find some street parking and make a full night of it. I know they have taken to Twitch for COVID, but I pray they come back soon and strong as ever!

Yelp
We went to see their Saturday show on the occasion of their 27th "Birthday". The venue is very pleasant the show can bee seen pretty much from any seat and they have decent size stage. A bit of a problem was that most actors did not have microphones on, and sometimes it was difficult to hear what they were saying. The main problem was that when I could hear what they were saying it was just not funny. May be less improvisation and more jokes or scenes worked out beforehand would have been better. It seemed that a smaller part of the audience enjoyed the show very loudly and a larger part was not really laughing. We left during the intermission.
google avatar

Leslie S.

Yelp
Holy hilariousness, Batman! We saw Ben Franklin, American Gigolo here and laughed so hard we cried. The 3-person cast worked beautifully together with impeccable timing, chemistry and authenticity. The writing was quick-witted and engaging. We stayed for improv and that was great too. The space, and the people and the hospitality were as solid and refreshing as the comedy. Dad's Garage is a must-do stop during any trip to Atlanta. Bravo.

Yelp
What a fun show! We came to their Valentine's Day special and got their fancy pants seats (no really, they call them fancy pants seats...and they're $35 per reserved seat). Ironically you can get their regular seats for $10 cheaper, and the regular seats aren't bad. So the premise of this show was the audience members all wrote love gone right or wrong on note cards before the show began, and the actors picked the cards at random then acted out the story, and added a bit more weight their improv skills. This show lasted about 1 hour and 40 minutes, including a 10 minute intermission. A word to the wise....if you think you'll be safe by writing a silly story, thinking they'll never select this, think again! I did just that and my story was selected FIRST!! The actors were all really good, and I loved how they on the fly brought these stories to life. They tag each other in and out to introduce characters and on several occasions will run through the audience for effect. You can order snacks before the show, which we did in the form of popcorn and water, although if drinking is your thing, they sell alcohol as well as other snacks too. Located in what looks to be an old church, it's a venue that isn't monstrous in size, but holds a fair amount of people in a somewhat intimate setting. The stage is close enough to all where sometimes the actors could be heard without the mic, and again, there wasn't any true "bad" seating in the house. Lest I forget, there's a piano playing fellow who is on stage playing through the entire acts Parking is in a private lot across the street from Dad's Garage. They ask that you get there 15 minutes before the show to get some form of parking. We got there about 25 minutes beforehand and parking was no problem at all. Surprisingly getting out was also no problem, though the lot does fill up fast. End of the day, I thoroughly enjoyed myself at this event watching the pros do their improv thing. They do offer several audience driven events where you can try your own hand on stage, but I have not seen one of these shows yet. I can tell you one thing, i'll be back to see more though (go ahead and complete their email survey to get a pair of free tickets!), and I hope i'll see you there!

Yelp
I have not seen the adult shows but I have taken my children to see their children's show. We used to go to their old location and we have now gone to their new one. It's great to see how this place has grown and expanded in 4 years, yet they are still nice, down-to-earth people who make you feel welcome and invited. The lobby I will say it's a bit dark inside but they have a nice refreshment bar with popcorn, chips, soda, water, and other stuff. Their prices are also super reasonable. No real need to bring anything from outside. They have great parking right across the building where they are housed. The comedians put on a great show for the kids. They really seem to go the extra mile for everyone to enjoy, both children and adults. They slip in some double entendre stuff that kids have no clue what they are talking about but adults get a kick out of. At the end of the show they come out and meet and greet the kids. Really amazing group of people who have not let their success go to their head.

Yelp
Love it for an hour of laughter without hurting anybody's feeling, except POTUS maybe but he deserves it. I recommend the New Year's Eve but other evening are fun too. Cheap, fun time to spend, I'll be there much more often if we were not that far away. Please continue to bring humour in this sad and trying times.
google avatar

Rami T.

Yelp
We got to see a Saturday show and were surprised that Colin Mochrie from Who's Line is it Anyway was a guest performer. We also got hear Kevin Kinney who is a musician play. The improv team was beyond hilarious! They went off the musicians songs and came up with original material. You can definitely tell they have been doing this for a long time

Yelp
I attended the opening night for "Black Nerd" last night (07/13/18) and I must say it is one of the best scripted performances I have seen! Standing ovation to both the writer and actors- -every one performed their role perfectly- -it was an OUTSTANDING experience to watch!!! (would give it 10 stars if I could) :-) Racial issues are such a sensitive topic wherever you go. However, Black Nerd craftily pulls together the most difficult and important racial topics into this little over an hour show and highlights relatable thoughts/issues for both blacks and whites to marinate on. Hopefully this production although entertaining and hilarious as it is will accomplish its theme of making everyone think/act (no matter what color you are) on unification vs division. Honestly at the end of the day we are all differently made and have our own individual thoughts/beliefs (no matter our color)- that's the greatness of being human!!!! Encore...

Yelp
Went to Christmas Carol: Invasion. Where Scrooge is visited by someone completely random. This time it was Michonne from The Walking Dead. The Christmas Carol turned into battling zombies, throughout Scrooge's life ultimately leading up to the final scene where Michonne stabbed Tiny Tim and Cratchet to death. The show as great fun, and kept me guessing. I've seen many Improv shows here as well and they never fail to entertain. I would highly recommend Dad's Garage for a fun date-night, night-out with friends, or if you just need a laugh.
google avatar

C H.

Yelp
Pure fun! You laugh from the moment you sit down with your beer until you laugh so hard and spill your beer. I have been so many times, I cannot count, and I always have a great time at Dad's Garage Theatre. I highly recommend it! A fun night out for all!
google avatar

Katie S.

Yelp
Dad's Garage is one of the best comedy theaters that I have been to! It was extremely surprising how put together and professional everyone who worked there was. And it is definitely not your average improv comedy theater for sure! We were able to go to one of their improv soap operas "Scandal O4W Ski Resort". It was a blast! They have some really talented people performing and I would definitely love to attend one of their other themed shows in the future. It's really great how they invite you to stay for the late second show for free if you attend the first one of the night. Such a great place! Parking is extremely easy too, with their private lot across the street.
google avatar

Lia N.

Yelp
Great place! My first and only time (for now) going there was great. I had the pleasure of seeing the cast perform their annual Christmas Carol Invasion, but guest starring Colin Mochrie. All I can say is...wow! It was SO fun and I'm so happy I was able to see these brilliant, talented people perform together to create something so special and hilarious! I wish I had a taped version of it so I could watch it again in the future because it was so good! Colin "invaded" as Cyborg Ebenezer Scrooge from the future and it was absolutely hilarious. The cast is WONDERFUL and so, so talented! The person who played Scrooge blew me away. She was absolutely incredible--though, I really shouldn't single anyone out because, again, every single cast member was friggin fantastic! Parking was a breeze - I got there a little early and there were spaces in the lot across the street (though I suspect these tend to fill up so I'd recommend getting there early for sure). Ticketing was also super simple - I bought my ticket online ahead of time and picked it up at Will Call very easily. Everything was stream-lined and organized. The staff was well-prepared because they were expecting a full house that night. It all ran very smoothly. The space itself is also super cool. Great hangout area downstairs. My ONLY complaint is about seating. I bought a seat in row 2 (when I purchased my ticket online you could pick SPECIFIC seats, but I don't know if this is necessarily how it is for every show). When I arrived, there was a row of fold-out chairs set up as the "first row." The rest of the seats are on risers, so potentially sitting behind a tall person may not matter for any other row, but because the very first row consisted of fold-out chairs it was the same height as the second row. This bummed me out a little because I wasn't always able to see the full stage/scene/props, no matter how much I moved around to look past the people in front of me (who were actually very conscientious and apologetic of this!). Had I known this would be the case, I would've bought tickets in the 3rd row or further back - so I'd advise anyone purchasing tickets to be aware of this. Maybe there could be some sort of way to convey this to people purchasing on the website when choosing seats? It would've been nice to know before I bought my ticket. I'd rather sit an extra row back if it means I can see the whole show! The cast/crew DEFINITELY utilized the entire space, and a lot of the jokes are visual so unfortunately I missed out on a few jokes here and there. Everything else was terrific. I had a great time and look forward to seeing more shows here in the future!

Yelp
This place is great! I went here with my boyfriend and a couple of friends for the show with Colin Mochrie, and it was awesome! The cast is hilarious, and this venue is just a great place to have a good time. All of the staff which I encountered were also very friendly. They have a bar inside, and I bought a couple of local hard ciders which were $7 a pop. The theatre itself is nice and intimate, and they played trivia on the TVs before the show and in between acts which was fun. I would recommend coming here with your significant other or a group of friends. I had a blast and will definitely be coming back!
google avatar

Darren H.

Yelp
So this is a much better space than Whole World Theatre, not as old and a better all presentation. I didn't see one of the scripted shows but a graduation class of improv training. I'd really like to go back and see one of the scripted shows to see the level of professionalism go up. Who doesn't enjoy that they sell alcohol and snacks and convenient parking right across the street? I'll be back here to see what the pro's have to offer.

Cat S.

Yelp
Casual theater located in what was an old church in the old fourth ward. The show, Scandals, was an improv comedy with about 8 or more actors. It was split up into different number scenes generally featuring two or four actors plus sometimes a choir. Along the theme of ridiculous personalities getting into hijinks at a local church. It was hell of a lot of fun and general sitting is very inexpensive and reserve seating is only a few dollars more. Great experience!
google avatar

Joel D.

Yelp
Dad's Garage worked with us to host a fundraiser for the Furniture Bank of Atlanta, and we had the best time. It was my first experience, and they were doing a Christmas Carol: Invasion. It was absolutely hilarious. The actors were terrific and quick on their feet, and the set was extremely well done as well. Throw on the fact they have a full-bar and great staff, and this is a great idea for a night out.

Yelp
I have only been to Dad's Garage twice but both times were so much fun. I love comedy and I LOVE improv shows so I was very happy to find this place after moving to Atlanta. This past weekend a group of friends and I went to see Theatre Sports and I will definitely be returning to see this one, specifically. I loved the rawness of the improv, the audience participation, the judges, the challenge between teams and the comedians did not hold back, which made the show that much better.

Yelp
LOVE Kirsten King and the Dad's Garage Kid's program. The program is fittingly set in an old church because Kirsten King's work and devotion has sparked a miraculous transformation in my son. My 11 year old son JD wouldn't play sports. He wouldn't do swimming. He wouldn't do clubs. In fact, He wouldnt do ANYTHING physical. He only did YouTube and computer games for many years. He started with improv camp one year ago and found a new passion. Now, he jumps at any opportunity to stand up in front of people, sing, dance, and make up random skits. IMPROV!!! The classes last 2 hours every other Saturday. For 6 months of the classes the cost is $585. The 5 day summer camp copsts $275 and has a very cute show on the last day. He had a bonus opportunity to perform with Colin Mochrie from "Who's line is it anyway?". JD was thrilled to get up on the big stage and make the audience roll with laughter. He did summer camp again this year and had another great transformative time. Kirsten King gives 100% at every class. She is hilarious herself and has a deep understanding of teaching drama skills. She takes her work seriously. I highly recommend this group for any child! I'm so glad my son has an activity now! He actually wants to do it and doesn't have to be dragged in by his ear!

Yelp
I had no idea what to expect going to Dad's Garage, but the staff was friendly and professional and the building had a unique setup for a theater. You walk in to a cafe-like atmosphere where concession is serving beer, wine, and liquor. I believe they also had popcorn. They recommend getting there 15 minutes early, but if you get there earlier, you can grab a table and chill before the performance. They'll open the doors about 30 min. before the show. We went when Aspergers R Us was performing and the place seemed to sell out. We got special Delta seats, which were front and center. They also provided name placards for us (there's no assigned seating otherwise, just first come first serve). The show was fun! They stay up late for drinks after the show, too.

Yelp
Can't speak for their improv show, but I came here with a group of friends recently to watch "U up?" Which is a scripted comedy show and had a great time. Facility is very clean and nice. Recommend this place if you're looking for something new and fun to do. Check their schedule online to see what's going on each month. There's a private parking lot or you can park on the street. Great location and plenty of good places to eat at beforehand, but you can buy food and beer within Dad's Garage.

Yelp
I had previously been to the temporary venue in Little Five and this venue is definitely a step up. I've only seen staged shows here and never been to the improv, but I've heard that's really good as well. They have a good beer selection on tap and it's not too expensive. This is a great weekend activity to do with a group of friends or on a date. A lot of times there are Loaf Deals for discounted tickets. Plenty of street parking and there is also a lot, but that can fill up.

Yelp
I took my family, who were coming in from Chicago (and who see a lot of comedy) and everyone loved it! We all were laughing from start to finish of this wonderfully funny and well put together production. The actors were so talented... jumping in and out of scripted to improv; the set was professional and impressive; the house staff were so friendly and accommodating- My sister has MS and they were able to seat us early and have an elevator for her to use. Oh, And plenty of parking...oh and a bar... and places to sit preshow! It was an exceptional evening! Great time and great fun!

Yelp
Dad's is my go-to spot for a guaranteed fun and very affordable night out in Atlanta. Ticket prices rarely top $16, and if they do it's totally worth it for the genius scripted show (Song of the Living Dead and Woman of the Year are my favorites) or celebrity guests. Whenever I have friends visiting from out of town, I make sure to bring them to Dad's and they love it. Dad's Garage is an Atlanta treasure. It was one of the first places I hit up when I moved to Atlanta 11 years ago because I had heard that some guys from FSU (my alma mater) started it. I've followed Dad's from its original home on Elizabeth Street, to their temporary space at 7 Stages, and am just blown away at the quality of their new, permanent home on Ezzard Street. They have tons of FREE parking, a full bar, and a truly awesome performance space. You can even have Amazza pizza delivered to you pre-show or during intermission! Check an improv show out--Cage Match, Theater Sports, or my personal favorite, Dim Sum's. You won't be disappointed!

Yelp
We are new to the Atlanta area, and our adult daughter visited us this past weekend. We were looking for something fun to do without spending a fortune. I purchased tickets for Invasion: Christmas Carol through ScoutMob which included admission and one free adult beverage. Finding the venue was easy and I was glad to see free parking. The building is very cool, used to be a church. Upon entering, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. We received our tickets along with a drink ticket. They have an area where you can sit, drink and enjoy light snacks before the show. We had mixed drinks and they were very good. When the theatre opens, you go upstairs and seating is half-round robin - you choose where you want to sit, unless you paid for front row) . There is not a bad seat in the house! We sat on the 2nd row and thoroughly enjoyed the show. The improviser for our show was KFC's Colonial Sander's and he carried a bucket of fried chicken around for most of the show. Of course there were all kinds of hilarious spoofs on KFC and the Christmas Carol story itself. All the actors and lines were great (well maybe you could have left out the one line about the "full bedpan" - lol). We received a good value for our money and will definitely return for future shows.

Yelp
We had so much fun. Phil Lamarr was the special guest. I miss going to improv places like this. It wasn't that expensive and the proceeds go back into the show since it is nonprofit and ran by volunteers. Definitely go see for yourself!!

Yelp
Such a great entertainment value for the dollar. You get very entertaining live theatre/comedy in an intimate setting for about the same or less as a movie ticket. Even the concessions are completely reasonably priced. The performers are friendly between shows. I have teenage kids and I don't mind them hearing adult language. You might not want to bring younger children with you if you object to strong language but it's a great way to introduce older kids to live theatre.
