Seating includes bar counter seats, small tables, and a second level overlooking the action. Drinks: 9/10 Recommendation: Torito De Pucara The menu is travel-themed, inspired by Nico de Soto’s global experiences. Cocktails are creative, cohesive, and well-executed. Glassware and presentation are above average, garnishes align with the concept, and overall visual detail is thoughtful. Service: 8.5/10 Water served on arrival. Team is friendly, professional, and attentive. Reservations not required - but expect some wait time during rush hours. Prices are above average for Paris.

Hand down the best bar experience we had in Paris (and they were all great experiences), but the team at Danico is top tier. Every cocktail was perfect; balanced yet intense in flavor, and all delicious enough to drink over and over. Easily some of best cocktails we have had anywhere in the World. Each drink is intentional and very well executed. And they hit every opportunity for hospitality from start to finish. Small food menu with pizza from the attached restaurant. The GiGi was the perfect snack while we drank.

We found Danico cocktail bar on our first night in Paris. It gave us an unforgettable experience with an unforgettable cocktail to match. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and explained how the menu is curated through lots of travel and research. All cocktails offered on the menu are diverse and like nothing you'll have seen or tasted before! The "Paris Brest" cocktail is the one we both chose, and it was amazing. It was a creamy cocktail, that tasted like a mixture of Baileys, Biscoff, and Praline. Beautiful! The price point is high-end, but for the cocktail itself as well as the service I'd say it's worth it for a one-off or a treat. We didn't have chance to try the food, however it smelled lovely as we passed through the restaurant. Thank you Danico!

A fantastic cocktail bar tucked inside what also seems to be a beautiful restaurant. The cocktail menu is themed around a country that the head bartender has visited and been inspired by—in our case, it was Peru. Most of the drinks we tried were excellent, with creative and thoughtful flavor profiles. The staff were incredibly warm and even shared past editions of the menu, which made it clear that each visit offers a completely different experience. Definitely a place I’m looking forward to returning to.

Good things: The drinks are quite good. Have a tiny twist. My personal favorite was the Roquefort-Martini (the video I posted). Even though I don’t think it’s revolutionary the implementation was quite ok! So I can’t say much negative things about the drinks, they were good but I wish they would have even been a bit more interesting. Might also just have been their current rotation, the other menus beforehand could’ve been better. Now to the things I didn’t like: the bar is overly crowded, one has to wait super long to get in and you HAVE TO wait outside. It’s December, maybe they could’ve worked on that, it was freezing cold. In summer it might be fun but in winter it was already a bad start. The staff were a bit rude, it felt commercial. They were telling you about a drink like they learned it by heart, no matter if in French or in English. Even before 2 am (their closing time) the waiter slammed the bill on the table and expected me to pay literally 1 min later. Lights were turned on and by max. 2:05 am we standing outside waiting for our taxi bc they literally kicked us out. I understand that they want to close and don’t want to work overtime but at the end we’re paying customers and letting us wait inside would have been the minimum. Therefore the atmosphere was not that great. Honestly with this kind of service the wait is a waste of time. Quite disappointed since the bar has such good reviews and I heard a lot of good stuff.

My personal favourite cocktail bar in Paris! They do different themes, and this time it was Peru. I had three cocktails, all of them were amazing - which was a pleasant surprise, as it's quite rare to like different styles of cocktails in one place. Most bars tend to be hit and miss, but not here. Leche di tigre is a must try! Can't wait to come back when they launch new themes. One note: I was a bit confused when I first arrived because it's also a pizza restaurant, and I sat in the restaurant area initially. Be sure to mention that you are there for cocktails to avoid any confusion.

Yep, we all know that this place is a top 50 bar so the drinks are undoubtedly great. But question… HOW is this place not also getting world’s top 50s pizza?! 🤤 The crust, the toppings, the chew was flawless!! The only thing (if I tried hard enough to be a super nit picker) is that I wish that there was more guanciale & the cubed type but couldn’t even come up with anything to improve on for the mortadella one. But honestly 💯!! Even all the staff members were extremely friendly and helpful! PS. The exclusive KOTA Pandan liquor was 🔥

This is one of the 3 bars in Paris currently on the Worlds Top 50 bars list - and would say this is probably the best of the 3. The cocktail menu is highly creative - apparently they switch up the menu every 3 months focusing on a different country; as of this review, the current theme is India (think lassi, chai, spices, etc...). The 3 drinks I had were all outstanding. Service is top rate - and has swanky posh decor. You can sit at the bar and interact with the staff, or sit at the small tables and just get lost in the great vibe here. Not to be missed if in Paris. (Tip - you have to enter thru the neighboring restaurant to access the bar)

Very intimate speakeasy. Just being walked back there you feel like a VIP. Huuuuuuuuuge diverse and creative rotating menu based on a region of the world. This one was India and there was butter chicken (a real drink) jasmine, cardamom, saffron. The menu is a book and each page a different drink with and illustration of India. Very experienced and friendly bartenders!

Quiet, pretty ambiance. Service was good...made good recs based on what we were looking for. Drinks were complex but some seemed premixed.

Want to give more than 5 stars. Found this from the Top best bars list. Come when you are in Paris, you won't regret it! Located behind pizza palace Daroco Bourse, Danico is housed in the former Jean Paul Gaultier flagship store. Its barmen's nautical striped shirts are a fitting homage to the fashion designer's signature design. Vibrant vibes abound in the high-ceilinged space with a mid-century throw back: the wallpaper, velvet furnishings and a herringbone marble bar, while the soundtrack comprises upbeat EDM tracks. The 12-cocktail menu is not for the faint-hearted: ' The "Cafe Moutarde Banana" is a twist to a standard expresso martini with banana infused water to give a refreshing sweetness yet not overpowering. 'La Myrtille', a turbo-charged kir royale, contains Pierre Ferrand cognac fat-washed with hazelnut butter and infused with tonka beans.

Danico is an enchanting oasis of mixology mastery. From the moment I stepped inside, the warm and intimate ambiance embraced me. The talented bartenders effortlessly crafted innovative cocktails that tantalized my taste buds. Each sip was a symphony of flavors, beautifully balanced and presented with artistic flair. The attention to detail in both the drinks and the service was impeccable and the cozy yet stylish decor added to the overall charm of the place!

Nice bar, good cocktails, service below average. Not greeted, had to wait for a menu, they took the menu away after we ordered claiming they were limited. After 6 cocktails sitting at the bar, not one of the bartenders even talked to us. If you are with a group and don't mind being ignored but like good cocktails, then I would go. Little Red Door was hands down the best bar we visited in Paris this time.

It s obvious why this is one of the top bars in the World. Superb service in a warm and cozy ambiance. A very limited food menu available only after 7pm. Who cares..? The drinks are more than enough.

This place is like a speakeasy, you have to weave your way through a restaurant to get to the bar, but it's totally worth it. Don't try to look for the bar, just follow your map, get to the restaurant, enter and let the host or hostess know that you came for the bar. Once there, find a table and sit down. It may take more than several minutes but someone will bring you a drink menu and take your order. It is a weird concept for us Americans because we like things to happen quickly but just remind ourselves that we're on vacation and we need to just sit down! I was about to take pictures of their cocktail menu but since they change their menu frequently, there is no need to do so. Drinks are deliciously and dangerously good. It is difficult to narrow down what to order but each drink comes with its own descriptions and they are fairly accurate. Cool and chill vibes. Bartender is super nice. Ignore my pics, I was trying to make a point of places that I came, I saw, I loved.

A must try after you've eaten at the restarant in front Ofcourse. This spot is located all the way in the back of Daroco restarant. It kind of gives me speakeasy vibes and you will love it as much as I did. Small and cozy and the drinks are perfect. I loved the names of the drinks and the drink menu art was very creative.

What a great find! We wanted to grab cocktails before dinner and were in the mood to go somewhere that would feel like home cause we had been away for so long. This place hit the spot! Casual yet trendy with delicious, well-made fun cocktails. My drink had sprinkles in it! The decor is so pretty, and the bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly. Get there early cause this place got packed! Plus you can totally make a whole night of this since it is in the back of a pizza place that looked delicious (but was also packed).

VERY IMPORTANT LOCATION NOTE: Danico is located INSIDE of the highly rated pizza joint, DAROCO. You will find the cocktail bar by entering the restaurant and then going all the way to othe back. I wish the reviews had included this note earlier since we did end up wandering around the vicinity for 20 minutes trying to find signage with "Danico" ha! Worth the extra walking to work off the soon to be consumed carbs and cocktails that night.... You MUST bring your tushy to this cocktail bar. Holy bajeezes. The bar and restaurant were both poppin' on a Friday night. My friend found Danico through Yelp of course and decided to come here for drinks before dinner. Unfortunately, but not really, we ended up staying here for dinner and never made it to our next destination spot ha! The ambiance is just too gorgoues and is perfectly lit and the bartenders here are PHENOMENAL and are super innovative with making new drinks year long round. The menu changes time to time and all the drinks are equally fabulous and made with the finesse of a professional that goes beyond just years of practicing. I swear the drinks were one of the BEST I've ever had. There must be some magic spell and unicorns in the back kitchen making a special potion to add to each drink. I ordered the #2 "I Quit" which was a mezcal, sherry, agave & habanero drink. This would probably blow a man's mind out of the world, but unfortunately, the drink was way too manly and strong for me (tasted more like bourbon/cognac) so I had to quit on this drink half way. BUT it was good for what it's worth. I just don't know how to order drinks keke So onto drink dos! I got the #1 "Hao Neeo Mamuang" after much consultation with the server (Gailee- who was the nicest French person we've ever met!), who claimed that this was a refreshing "girly" drink. OMG. This was so so so so bomb. Think of a refreshing, blooming flower, with a serene breeze and aqua blue water in the background when youd rink this. It was so dang good. And there were chia seeds in it I LOVE CHIA SEEDS! Healthy in oatmeal and in a cocktail! My friend got the Pacman too which was soooo sooo gooddddd. I was so jealous of her drink while I was sipping on my "I Quit" thinking why I didn't pick the cute names/pictured drinks instead. We also ordered the Focaccia bread which was so utterly satisfying. We devoured the fluffy cheesy warm bread and unfortuntaely lost our appetite for dinner during normal dining hours (don't worry we made it up with ubereats at the hotel). Such a special place for cocktails. I would recommend eating pizza at Daroco since it smelled amazing and then heading over to the back for some good night drinks. What a great find! OUI OUI!

Wow!! I constantly do research and go to cocktail bars all over paris, and in Europe and NYC and Canada. This cocktail bar is insane. It is SO good. I ordered the chicarron c'est point carré(tequila and mezcal) it was probably one of the best drinks over ever had. My boyfriend ordered the peanut butter jelly with a baseball bat, I don't even like cognac and his drink was incredible. We came on Sunday night after having dinner at Daroco up front, and hesitated going home after dinner. I'm glad we decided to come to the bar. This is now one of my favorite bars in Paris. Can't wait to come back and try their other drinks. You cannot miss this place!!

A cocktail of the most elegant and professional kind. The staff mixes magical cocktails that speak for themselves and have the understated attitude that makes you the star of the night. While the rooms exhibit superbly contemporary elegance, the cocktails still stole the show, just the way it was supposed to be.
