Miami’s New Restaurant Openings - Miami - The Infatuation

"We’re big fans of the original Daniel’s in Fort Lauderdale. While the menu at their new Coral Gables location is a little different from the original, the steakhouse still aims to be an ode to Florida through local ingredients sourced from our state. We’re excited to try all of it and report back soon." - mariana trabanino

The Miami Restaurants That Show Salad The Utmost Respect - Miami - The Infatuation

"Daniel’s turns its caesar into spiffy little towers of lettuce topped with crunchy breadcrumbs and surrounds them with refreshing puddles of basil dressing. You’ll see it on just about every table in this steakhouse for a reason. It tastes like they’re using a pound of basil per ounce of dressing. Full disclosure, that’s the only salad we’ve had a chance to try at this new spot, but it has already proven to us that this team respects salad. We’ve got a good feeling about the gioia salad (baby gem, endives, radicchio, red bell peppers, tomatoes, and white balsamic vinaigrette) and an even better feeling about the iceberg wedge, which comes with crispy onions, bacon, tomatoes, and blue cheese dressing." - virginia otazo, ryan pfeffer

16 New Miami Restaurants To Try Right Now - Miami - The Infatuation

"Daniel’s is a steakhouse that knows exactly what its Coral Gables crowd wants: to feel like the most important people in the room, but not at the cost of an overpriced and underwhelming NY strip. It’s the kind of spot where servers in suits drape your napkin over your lap, quippy sommeliers double as mind-readers, and you realize there’s a very famous Univision personality next to you halfway through dinner. But more than anything, Daniel’s is about the food. Go for an herbaceous basil caesar salad, ribeyes that slice easier than cake, and a lobster mac and cheese everyone wants on their side of the table. Daniel’s was already our favorite steakhouse in Fort Lauderdale, and it’s already one of the very top ones in Miami, too." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo, mariana trabanino, virginia otazo, mariana trabanino, ryan pfeffer, ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino, ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino, virginia otazo, virginia otazo, virginia otazo, virginia otazo, mariana trabanino

Miami Restaurant Openings to Know for August 2025 | Eater Miami

"Taking over the former Fiola space in Coral Gables, this classic steakhouse leans into Floridian roots with local ingredients like Swank Farms tomatoes, Florida-raised prime rib, and Sunshine Provisions sausage. As the second Daniel’s location, it follows a Fort Lauderdale flagship that earned a place in the 2025 Florida Michelin Guide." - Laine Doss

I'm very skeptical of most expensive restaurants in Miami as I've been let down plenty. Daniel's passes this skepticism test with flying colors! I mean this place is insanely good and, hate to say it, worth every penny. Let me start by saying the staff is top tier attentive and incredible; everyone from our server Diagna to the GM, John, who is probably best in class and responsible for keeping such a prestigious place impeccable on all levels. So to the food; the steak specifically. I ordered an Australian wagyu ribeye and the hanger steak for the table and my god...ELITE quality and execution. The execution is the real kicker, because I like my steaks black and blue -basically charred outside and rare inside-- and Daniel's cooks delivered a flawless steak on what is a difficult cooking style. The hanger was buttery and the ribeye (cooked med rare) was insanely good. Even ordered a decadent Dover sole filet that was delicious. Dropped a few photos here of some standouts, including the Summer in Madrid drink (refreshing), the enormous tiger shrimp, the absurdly soft and delicate Florida blue crab cake and the chocolate cake that is perfect for people with a superhuman sweet tooth. All incredible. To sum things up; as much as I'm a guy who hates paying a lot of money for restaurant experiences, since I myself cook very well at home, Daniel's is worth treating yourself to if you can afford it. And trust me when I say...that statement coming from me talking about a $150+/person restaurant is a crazy compliment that I've never given to any restaurant in Miami. Best steakhouse in Miami by a mile.

From start to finish our dinner at Daniel’s Miami Steakhouse in Coral Gables was exceptional. The experience began with their bread service which featured the best sourdough I have ever had, perfectly paired with ricotta honey butter that was absolutely addictive. We started with the crab cake made of pure lump crab meat and the tuna tartar which was pristine, fresh, and full of flavor. For the main course, the flat iron steak was cooked to perfection and accompanied by a twice baked potato that is truly to die for. Dessert was a fun and delicious finish with soft serve ice cream topped with brownies, M&Ms, sprinkles, and cookie crumbles. The vodka martini was easily the best in town, and the service was outstanding. A special thank you to Christian, one of the managers, for checking in and making sure everything was perfect. I would absolutely return and highly recommend Daniel’s Miami Steakhouse to anyone looking for an incredible dining experience.

We had an incredible experience at Daniel’s Restaurant for our anniversary. The food was absolutely phenomenal, including the bread service, ceviche, filet with exotic peppercorn sauce and the service truly elevated the meal. Augustine was our server and went above and beyond! He was attentive, professional, and welcoming. Highly recommend and will definitely be back soon! 10/10!

We had a great dinner at Daniel’s and really enjoyed the entire experience. The vodka pasta was creamy and flavorful, and the lobster mac and cheese had generous pieces of lobster and the perfect cheesy texture. The cowboy ribeye was cooked exactly how we asked and paired well with the double-baked potato, which was rich and comforting. Dessert was just as good — the ice cream sundaes and other sweets were the perfect way to end the meal. A big thank-you to Francisco, who truly elevated our evening. He was warm, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. He checked on us at the right moments and made sure everything felt seamless. His service alone would make us want to come back.Overall, Daniel’s is a great spot for a nice meal with excellent food and outstanding service. We’ll definitely be returning.

We had a lovely dinner for twelve to celebrate the holidays at Daniel’s in South Miami. The location of the restaurant is easy to access and they have valet which is very convenient. The restaurant has a very elegant atmosphere. We sat in a room where they had floor to ceiling wine on display. The restaurant was completely sold out so I highly recommend reservations. Due to the restaurant being so full, the only complaint I really have is that at times it was very loud and hard to hear my guests. We ordered cocktails and wine with our appetizers. The wine selections is quite vast with so much to choose from. One of my guests had a martini where they serve the olive juice in a vile on the side and they really enjoyed it. The food is absolutely amazing. Our waiter was very attentive and provided a lot of guidance as to what we should order. A few of my guests ordered the Australian Wagyu New York strip and said it was perfect. I do not eat red meat and there were plenty of options for me as well. I had the crab cake topped with caviar and it was absolutely delicious. We also ordered sides to share for the table which included lobster mac & cheese, twice baked potato and corn pudding. For dessert, we had a build your own sundae, the cookie skillet and banana bread. We really enjoyed our time at Daniel‘s. Would highly recommend it!

I recently dined at Daniel’s in Miami and had a fantastic experience. We were a party of two and chose to sit in the bar area, which was lively and quite loud, adding a buzz of energy to the evening. The food definitely lived up to the hype. We started with the seafood chowder, which was on the smaller side but absolutely delicious. The crab cake was one of the best I’ve ever had—just perfect in flavor and texture. For the main course, I had a New York strip cooked to perfection, accompanied by cream spinach and a double-stuffed potato—both sides were fantastic. Yes, it was a pricey evening, around $350 with two drinks included, but for a special night out, I’d definitely recommend it. Just be ready for a bustling atmosphere and a vibrant crowd!

Ambiance: 9/10 Daniel’s is stunning — the ambiance alone is worth the visit. The space feels elegant and thoughtfully designed, perfect for a night out or a special occasion. Food: 8.5/10 The food was very good — well-prepared and flavorful — but it wasn’t the best meal I’ve ever had. That said, it was still enjoyable and nicely presented. Just be aware that the portions are on the smaller side, so you might want to have a snack beforehand or be prepared to order extra if you're really hungry. Service: 7/10 Service was decent, though it started off a bit slow — likely because they had just begun their dinner service for the evening. Once things got moving, the staff was attentive and professional. Overall Impression: A solid Miami Spice experience with a beautiful setting and good food. I’d definitely return — maybe sit at the bar for a more casual night or save it for a special occasion when the ambiance can really shine.

This past Saturday was our first experience at Daniel’s, and I have to say it was excellent. Our server, Paige, was knowledgeable and very helpful. She had great recommendations and added a sense of calm to our night with her cool demeanor. Cristian, the floor manager, also made his way over and introduced himself. He passed up the lame “how’s everything” question that most managers spit out carelessly and actually conversed with us. He was genuine and helpful and also contributed to the excellence delivered that night. Finally, the food was superb, truly magnificent. I personally have a dairy allergy, so, at times, my food options are not as fun. That was not the case at Daniel’s. We can’t wait to go back with friends and family!
