A completely different experience & very humbled with the experience.
How it felt to be blind for a couple hours, eating food and drinking while trying to figure out what I was eating with people on other tables chatting away.
Your phones & any smart devices that give light are taken away and stored in a safe locker on arrival and you’re seated to have a drink before the experience begins.
Personally I loved the experience as was worth every penny of it.
Polite staff all round.
Such a dope experience in my eyes & i would and will definitely be trying it again.
I spent around £180 something as we went for the 3 course meal chefs surprise & a few glasses of wine.
The food was I say 3/5, it wasn’t crazy delicious. Starter and desert for me was the best, main was good.
We all know wine boosts up everything.
Thank you again for this humbling experience.
What I can say is that I’ve eaten and EATENNNNN there 🤭

A very surreal and exceptionally unique food experience! My party were quickly welcomed into the waiting area where we managed to place our order for our drinks prior to entering the pitch black restaurant area. At first, it’s quite an adjustment to have one of your senses completely stripped however felt liberating once you were seated and comfortable. Our server Courtney was incredibly attentive and friendly to us and ensured we knew what was where on the table and made the experience that much more pleasant. Dietary requirements were catered for incredibly as noted in the quality of food, and my party had great fun trying to guess the flavour profiles of what we could be eating! Cutlery was available though due to the nature of the dining experience, fingers are much more preferable so prepare to get a bit messy! At the end, it was revealed what we had eaten which was very insightful. Highly recommend to try this at least once!

Having wanted to visit for years, Dans Le Noir turned out to be an incredible, new experience I enjoyed with friends as part of my 30th birthday celebrations.
Our Restaurant Guide- Aliya- was so welcoming and bubbly; it felt like she was genuinely having fun being with us.
Though I won’t talk about the food, it was all delectable. I started off using cutlery…but always relied on my fingers to ensure a clear plate at the end of each course!
Dining in pitch black was very surreal: I liked having to rely on touch, smell and sound throughout the meal.

Me and my wife attended the restaurant last night and had a wonderful experience. Upon entering the dark room with our lovely host waiter Michael, it was so unusual. I can't even begin to explain how dark it was. It genuinely looked lighter when I had my eyes closed.
Amazing skills by the visually impaired and blind staff to wait in such conditions with such skill. Really showed how much we take for granted and though the VI and blind staff probably don't want our sympathy - they were an absolute pleasure.
The food was good, not that you can see it :p I'd highly recommend to friends and family as an experience.

It was our first time at this restaurant and we weren’t disappointed! Dining in total, pitch blackness was a little jarring at first, but you adapt quickly & it makes for a fun atmosphere. Our waitress Courtney was lovely and helped us to get our bearings. I won’t spoil the 5 course surprise Chef’s menu, but the food was delicious and would suit most people’s tastes I’d say. Wine was good.
Pro tip: Eat with your hands – they have sanitiser. It’s way more fun! I was useless with the knife & fork though.

We went for the 3 course menu, the food was absolutely delicious. The entire team were amazing. The top notch service provided by Michael who was such a gentleman, was what made the experience phenomenal. He was absolutely brilliant from beginning to end and made our experience so comfortable and enjoyable. I hope I can visit again!

This place is incredible. I don’t love being in the dark with strangers but it really didn’t feel like there were many people around. Our host Micheal was amazing, guiding us every step of the way and letting us know what was going to happen before it happened. The food was lovely. It is pricey but for the experience well worth it. Would recommend to anyone.

Great atmosphere and service, food was average.
You’re welcomed to a bar area where you wait to be lead to the restaurant. Once upstairs, you’re carefully led inside a pitch black room and to your seat, by a waitress.
Interesting experience trying to guess what you’re eating - definitely very alien and unsettling for the first few moments. But once settled, your senses are definitely heightened!
Quite a short meal, as felt rushed to leave when we weren’t done yet, would have been nice to have stayed in the restaurant slightly longer.
