Wood-fired pizzas, market-fresh seafood, and signature cocktails

"Brunch is great, but brunch with a view overlooking Beverly Hills? That’s perfection. Located on the roof of boutique hotel The Maybourne, Dante has a wide-ranging menu of typical dishes like harvest bowls, frittatas, and granola, but our recommendation is to order a wood-fired pizza for the table and get to cocktail-ing. Nothing makes that view better than a seasonal bellini coursing through your veins." - brant cox, sylvio martins, cathy park
"This glamorous NYC import atop The Maybourne in Beverly Hills is a full restaurant, but the mostly mediocre Italian food isn’t the highlight. Come for the exceptional views and even better cocktails instead. The menu has sections dedicated to martinis, negronis, spritzes, and agave spirits—all things you want to be sipping as you stare out over multimillion-dollar mansions. Most drinks cost $20+, but come with fun little flourishes that feel appropriate for the setting (prepare for bartenders to spray olive brine mist on your dirty martini or scorch green chilis for your spicy margarita.)" - brant cox, arden shore

"Set on the rooftop of The Maybourne Beverly Hills, this restaurant and bar spotlights “mini” cocktails that are as adorable as they are well curated—the kind of scene Cher and Dionne would have gleefully tried to sneak into for a taste." - Kristin Braswell
"The main purpose of this rooftop spot is to look fabulous while drinking fabulous things with fabulous people in a fabulous setting (did we say fabulous enough?). This restaurant sibling to Dante NYC takes up the top floor of The Maybourne Hotel, with a dining room that’s just as beautiful as its panoramic views and a menu of mostly unremarkable Italian dishes. At its heart, however, Dante is a cocktail bar. The bartenders are experts with classics like a 50/50 martini and whipped Garibaldis, but really, they’re capable of making anything you can think of with confidence and finesse. This is Beverly Hills, so expect to spend at least $20 per drink, a price that feels worthwhile for the memorable experience (and the setting)." - sylvio martins, brant cox, garrett snyder

"At Dante, a view of the Hollywood Hills, indigo booths and a ceiling mural in pastels strike the mood for the jet-set crowd; an LA outpost of the New York original, the vibe here turns up the glamour, while the food and drinks are impeccable and the service is warm. Light, textural signature cocktails complement its Mediterranean-Italian food menu, with entire pages devoted to martinis and Negronis. You should try: While in Rome, order the Fluffy Margarita Royale, made with tequila, dry curaçao, lime, clementine and saffron, and prosecco—it’s the kind of margarita you can’t get anywhere else." - ByEsther Tseng
