I wanted to see what all the hype was about and waited a few months after to visit. Got the beef Mac patty and not going to lie it lives up to the hype and expectations. I was impressed that after all the hype and excitement it still held up well. I recommend it if you’ve never tried it worth it. They also have exotic snacks, drinks, and much more.

Atmosphere very shady. The street this is on has some shady characters passing through. I stopped here because of the LIRR and the name sounded familiar. I walked in and I saw the menu and I thought beef patty with rice and peas sounded good. Thought of picking for me and my friend. Then the nice counter guy said they're out of rice and peas then I was like wait a second aren't you those Instagram famous guys he's like yeah I said what is the famous dish he said beef patty coco bread and with oxtail I said bet gimme that. So they didn't take long at all. I took it outside to munch on and charge my phone. I ate half of it and saved the rest for later.. But this was 10/10. I am definitely coming back.

WOW, JUST WOW. Datz Deli is doing something I've never seen in a bodega. They have this Dat Mac Patty which is a Jamaican beef patty with Mac n cheese (or rice and peas) on Coco bread and this gravy that is just to die for! They also do natural juices like ginger, sorrel and other West Indian favorites. you can also do plates of brown stew chicken, rice and peas, cabbage, etc. it's family owned and everyone is so friendly. I wanted to eat two of those patties!

The food and customer service were both absolutely amazing! I had the oxtail mac & cheese beef patty on the coco bread and a side of plantains it was served fresh with a smile. I will definitely add on every trip that I visit to New York.

I have wanted to try this place, I might've come too late in the day. The bread was stale and crusty, the guy that served me was less than willing to help me because he didn't want to get off his phone. I chose the jerk chicken and mac & cheese, there's not a lot of mac & cheese in the sandwich, honestly the bread is really ruining it for me, and the dry chicken. I paid $19 for the sandwich and I did expect more.

The Food deserves the hype it receives. The oxtail beef patty with mac&cheese on cocoa bread 🤤 so good! I also has the saltfish and bake, again another 🤤 The owners sister was running the show and she was extremely helpful and cool , overall 10/10!

I came here with my family who is visiting from another country. The woman behind the counter was so kind and hospitable and attentive to us made us feel right at home. She made this experience absolutely magical. This is another level, nothing I expected, but everything I needed. P.S some of their drinks are homemade, including the peanut drink and the hibiscus drink which we had. Those were exceptional. We are fans of hibiscus drinks, and these were the best we ever had.

I love food and of course , me being absolutely in love with oxtail , had to try this oxtail beef patty with Mac & Cheese . From the moment I took my first bite, I knew I was in for a treat ! The oxtail was cooked to perfectly with the meat so tender it practically melted in my mouth. The flavors were rich and savory, with a depth that can only come from slow-cooking but the beef patty is the heart of what holds this beautiful concoction together. The curry goat MORE equally impressive( Called the Drake) The meat was incredibly tender, and the curry sauce had just the right amount of heat and spice was so savory ( best I will get the dish with rice and peas) !!!The flavors were well-balanced, also combined with Max & Cheese and sauce that had a perfect blend of aromatic spices that created a joy for my mouth! I’m short I loved both patty sandwiches but the curry goat was my favorite and next time I can do it with just cheese and no Mac and cheese ! I love the touch of the sweet plantain on the top and that the store is full of different/imported chips , snacks and drinks ; making even more unique of a deli !

Videos of this place kept popping up on my Tik Tok feed , I was passing by and decided to see what the hype was about. There was a short line about 8 people ahead when we arrived and it's a small space. We were warmly greeted and told the lady we were not ready to order yet. She let us know she's available to answer any questions if needed. A few signs on the walls explained how to order the stuffed patties . I'm honestly not a fan of carb on carb stuffing in my beef patties and was relieved to see that they also offered plate style ( without the patty) . My kids however were there for that stuffed patty and were not changing their minds. Once we ordered we waited close to 30 minutes for our food. I noticed only 1 guy and the cashier were on staff and were working as fast as they could. The lady was so calm and her demeanor seemed to spread to the waiting customers, no one seemed bothered by the wait. It was nice to see people being normal and patient, it also seemed like they all knew this was the pace and the wait was worth it. I looked around the deli , they have a selection of packaged Asian snacks , unique flavors of Lay's, Oreos, skittles and other candies ,chips,soups etc. Aside from the patties and plates I don't know if they also serve any other regular deli options. Everyone was there for the patties. Finally Sharon ( I think that's her name ) said our order was ready, she apologized for the wait but by that time my kids were so busy picking out snacks I didn't even notice it was half an hour . The mellow atmosphere had grown on us lol. She double checked our orders, offered us cups of ice for our drinks and told us that there are a few tables outside if we chose to sit. She was so nice ,like mama making sure her kids didn't forget their lunch. I got the rice and peas , mac and cheese and jerk chicken plate. Wow, flavor bombs set off. The rice is heavily seasoned , so good you can literally have it alone and have a satisfying feeling of a meal. Deep browning flavors, cinnamon sticks and definitely meat stock flavors and some hot spices too. The Mac and Cheese was good, it wouldn't be something I'd order on it's own but tje creaminess definitely helped with the spiciness of the overall plate. The jerk chicken is boneless thigh. It was a bit salty but lots of good jerk flavor, I could tell it was made in the oven and not on a grill because it lacked that notable smoky component associated with jerk. I wasn't upset , it's a deli not a jerk barbecue spot. My kids devoured the patties , as I said before I'm not into the stuffed arrangement but the components of the plate are exactly what they use to stuff the patty and those each tasted delicious . They got the oxtail and mac and cheese stuffing. My kids liked that the patty was so neatly put together that it was easy to eat without stuff falling out all over. If you love big flavors and Caribbean food then give Datz a try. Don't expect frills and fancy decor and if you're impatient don't go over there yelling at the nice people. It's not the vibe. The LIRR to Heamstead ( Hollis Ave stop ) is across the street. I saw a bus stop sign next to the deli but it didn't show was bus line it was.

I found this place on TikTok and thank God I did because this place SLAPS. It seems unassuming as a corner shop but inside is all good vibes. It was already a bit busy despite it being a late and rainy weekday night, but the guys reassured us they would get to us soon. We got the Jerk DatMacPatty and the chicken curry patty with rice. (I think there's some more options with the patties in person than online!) It was my first time getting a patty inside bread, but my friends always tell me this is theee way to eat a patty. Both were sooo delicious and very filling. It comes all the best Caribbean flavors into one jam-packed patty sandwich. We also got an extra side of mac which is honestly to die for. This place definitely lives up to the hype! Please check it out for yourselves!

Location: Finding this restaurant wasn't hard. This place is located in a residential neighborhood which makes parking a little more difficult. If you're lucky you will snag a parking spot near by. Luckily I was with my family so we were able to hop in line while my cousin was looking for parking. The Wait: We waited in line for a little over an hour before we were able to step inside and place our orders. Only 5 people at a time were able to enter the restaurant . There was about 10 people ahead of us. The sun was blazing that particular day which made waiting in line miserable. Periodically the clouds would block the sun but not enough to make it comfortable. I think they should come up with a better system for waiting. Customer Service: The owner and her son were on the front line packing orders and ringing out customers. They were really welcoming. They were bustling trying to get the food out but also helpful with answering our questions. The Food: I ordered one beef patty with mac & cheese and curry goat (which was my favorite) and one beef patty with mac & cheese and jerk chicken which was okay I'd give it a 7/10. I requested a patty with oxtail and was told that they don't serve that although it was written on the menu. The food was very rich and filling. It was pricey as I ended up spending $50. All in all it was a bonding experience with my family. I am glad that I got to try it once but I'm not sure if I'd return.

I've been here about 3 times and the food never disappoints. My go to is either the Mac patty with oxtail or Mac patty with shrimp curry . Josh and Chris are always super friendly and provide good service. Please bring back the homemade pine tart and cheese roll!! They were flaky & delicious :) ambiance- it's a deli- there are a few chairs outside to sit. Tip: waiting time is a bit steep if it's busy, we waited around 15-20 minutes last time for four Mac patties.

Took a trip to Datz Deli & had to share my experience....I give them a strong 5 review the infusion of curry goat (goat curry for the ) mixed with the fire Mac and cheese, beef patty and cheese combo on butter flap taste like everything! I took a bite heading back home and y'all I couldn't finish a whole one had the rest the next day, super fulfilling and so yummy! Shared the double oxtail Mac patty with my sister because I believe in spreading the love For the foodies craving Caribbean infusions you gotta check em out, def try the oxtail Mac patty too it's giving pepper pot vibes. The Drake was my favorite hands down, I'm the type to order curry goat with Mac alone and extra curry sauce...the marriage of the ingredients

Words cannot describe how delicious these sandwiches are. I would argue that I should've came to this place much sooner while taking the first bite of the oxtail. I couldn't understand how something so delicious could exist. And the sweet plantain on it was a cherry on top. I also tried the chicken and it was really delicious however very spicy so please be careful if I had to pick between two of them. I would say that the oxtail was by far the most delicious but both were equally up there when I got there because I got there around 9 o'clock so perhaps go late at night, but truly, I've been trying to go to this place for over a year and I'm very upset. I haven't checked it out any sooner glad I've discovered it.

Who hasn't seen the viral video from Datz Deli, that's why I had to go. The space is small and is takeout only, but parking in the area was easy. Walking in we were greeted warmly and of course had to order the viral Beef patty stuffed with mac & cheese and oxtail sandwich. We also opt'd for a smaller cod sandwich and some maduros. The woman behind the counter was just lovely and helped us with our menu selections. The cod sandwich was a bit salty, but what's to be expected with salt cod. However pairing it with the maduros balanced with all out and it was so good. On to the reason why we were there, the stuffed beef patty sandwich. It is definitely a filling sandwich and I was glad we decided to share it. It was a good sandwich, I'm not sure it was as crave-able as I was thinking it would be, but I definitely enjoyed it and happy I got to experience it.

Idea & look of the sandwich's were great but the taste was honestly disappointing. The oxtail & Mac had no flavor just seem like a tough dry sandwich. May have to catch them on a better day. Service was cool as for ambiance it was a togo setup.

Caught wind of the viral dat Mac patty. Had it every way, oxtail, curry chicken, jerk chicken. Have to say the oxtail and Mac and cheese are on point! Dealing with the large crowds they handled themselves very well. You might have to wait depending on how busy but, if you're into gimmicky viral foods I'd def try. This one lives up to the hype.

Thankfully it wasnt a wait. We thoroughly enjoyed our Datasmack with oxtail. When you eat it hot and fresh you get a better experience. Aka don't wait till you get home. I suggest whoever you buying it for come along and y'all eat it in the car with a quick drink and laugh and you'll have a great day!

The food lives up to the hype. The Dat Mac patty, the jerk chicken patty and all of the other food is so good. Real authentic Guyanese tasting food. Service is friendly, ambiance is that of a true NY deli. Def recommend.

10/10 experience overall. The woman that served me was so kind and patient. I didn't expect anything less. Only heard great things about this place. The oxtail mac patty is RIDICULOUSLY GOOD. The combination of everything is mindblowing. Best oxtail I've ever tasted. The buttahflap that encloses the patty, macaroni & cheese, and oxtail is the best finishing touch. All these flavors. Crazy! The place itself is cozy and unique. I love the colorful artwork on the side of the building. Will be back again and again!

I called and asked specifically what time they would start serving oxtail beef patties and was told 9am. That didn't sound right. So we got here at 11:50 am on Wednesday and was told to wait outside half an hour for us to order. This was since the beef patties were cooking. We were the second people on the line. When the food was ready, they started letting people in a couple at a time to order. We ordered the beef patty on coco bread with rice and peas and oxtail. The other with the beef patty on coco bread with mac and cheese and jerk chicken. These were around 10$ each. It was nice to see a whole family working together. You see the sister at the register taking orders, the brother putting together the sandwiches and the dad in the background cooking. We also got some Caribbean natural juices that were about 5.50$ each. When they were ready, when we got back outside, there was a line forming. We went to the nearby Gladys Warren triangle and sat in the grass and ate. This was near the Q2 bus to take us back to the F train. The sandwich with beef patty mac and cheese and jerk chicken was great. We loved that one. The oxtail one was good but putting it with peas and rice and coco bread dampened the flavor. I think next time mac and cheese would be the way to go for the oxtail one. They didn't have plantains today and I was told they have it available some days. All in all, it is a great and flavorful family business. One suggestion is to hire a friend or cousin to help with the sandwich making during the busy hours so people do not have a long wait. Also, have all ingredients available, such as the plantains. Support local!

I'd been hearing good things about this spot and wanted to check it out and glad we tried their beef patty sandwiches. I was disappointed they were out of their oxtail, but the people working there were super friendly and set us up with different flavors to try. I love a local Queens spot and this is very much a deli where you can get these sandwiches to-go.

Came here for lunch because I saw a YouTube short about this place. On the outside it looks like your normal deli, on the inside, the deli options are limited. However, I came in around 12pm for lunch and customers were coming in for the Patties. I decided to get rice and pease with jerk chicken. It was okay but nothing close to authentic Jamaican for the price of $15. I order the large rice and pease with jerk chicken. The rice was good, and it's what made me give this 4 stars. The chicken was okay, it's meant for the Pattie's because they threw it on the grill for 2 minutes to heat up. There weee no sides with the dish and the container was a small compared to other restaurants. There is table outside for sitting, and the service was fast, I'll try the Patties next time and update my review

I don't have pictures and didn't plan to try the food at DATZ Deli, but the BF has been fiendin' to try the gargantuan oxtail patty. The Hollis, Queens location is very much out of the way, but on our way from Brooklyn to the Bronx last weekend, we passed a new DATZ outpost in LES. OMG! He made the ultimate detour and the next thing I know, we were ordering LMAO! There was a jerk chicken option, amongst others but we opted for the classic oxtail. It appears to be little layers of oxtail meat, mac and cheese, inside of a classic beef Jamaican beef patty with coco bread. Nevertheless, what appears to a small loaded sandwich is actually gargantuan meal. Initially, I could only eat half of a half. With the first bite, I could taste the cocoa bread. I could taste the beef patty, as well as the oxtail and mac & cheese as individual bites. With the next few bites, the mashup of ingredients as a whole, if that makes sense. Everything, even individually, was quite flavorful, well, seasoned and delicious. It was nice as an experience to have tried this oxtail/beef patty mashup, but but for me personally the price tag is a deterrent.

Amazing corner spot on Hollis Avenue in Queens. The place went super viral and is getting bigger. I had the jerk chicken sandwich and it was an absolute banger. It's family-run and I can tell that everyone working here, from the owner to the people behind the counter, have all bought in and believe in the vision and dream of this business. I'd come back for another visit easily!

I went around 2:30pm on a Friday. There was no line at all. The cashier greeted me when I walked through the door. She showed me the menu and asked if I had any questions. I opted for the chicken curry patty with coco bread. It was very filling as they put a lot of meat. My friend had the jerk chicken with Mac patty, and enjoyed it. I would go back to try a different one.

Small little mom and pop bodega with BIG flavors! The food and the snacks are a MUST! Update 11/21/2023 - Went back and had the oxtail mac & cheese masterpiece. It went from $12 to $13.50, but that was expected. No rap snacks this time but the sandwich is still amazing.

Verbally confirmed that their meat is halal. Got the beef patty with Mac and cheese + oxtail, it was very good. My experience was a 4/5 solely bc the last few bites of the sandwich were dry since the meat and mac tend to congregate at the front. I'm sure if you get a side of gravy your experience will be 5/5.

I was a bit worried coming here based on some of these reviews. I was truly prepared for the worst and kept my hopes low for any decent service or welcome. We dropped in around 8:30pm on a Saturday. They were understandably sold out by that time. I told the owner we drove from Long Island to try and I know it's late but was there anything she could let us try. As a matter of fact, she was very pleasant and quite engaging. She was very accommodating and engaged us in discussing their videos and plans for expansion and even the exotic snacks they carry. I was a bit disappointed initially as there was no oxtail available. She told us we should try the curry chicken Mac & cheese beef patty instead and called her son in to make 2 for us despite the grill already having been turned off. We waited about 8 minutes or so for our food and then were on our way. We didn't taste until we got home after about a 20 minute drive. Let me tell you... it did not disappoint. The curry was flavorful and the chicken was seasoned well. Even the Mac & cheese showed a lot of love put into it. I don't even care to try the oxtail one- the curry chicken was A1

Must have came here at a bad time. I came here in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday. The menu tvs weren't showing anything and the fridge was half empty. The lady at the cashier was the mom of the owner. I didn't know what to order and she offered the oxtail sandwich. When I saw the cook offering the premade sandwich in the heater, I was a bit turned off because I wanted something freshly made. The cashier said it was recently made and sternly said that it was this way because they were viral and have 16 million views! Despite the comment, the sandwich was fresh. Not the best deli sandwich I've had in NY but definitely good for $12. I tasted the oxtail and Mac and cheese. The coco bread offered a nice biscuit like texture. Would I come here again? Probably not since it's so deep into Queens and the service was subpar. I'm not the biggest expert on Caribbean food but worth a try if you love oxtail and sandwiches!

I came here on a random Saturday Am. Luckily there was no long line. The deli itself is inside a corner store. They sell a bunch of international snacks, drinks and random thing processed food items. I ordered the mac patty and a regular Jamaican patty. Both were delicious, but ok. Nothing that will blow you away. Best patty I've ever had and I didn't see diners ordering anything else, but the patties. I wouldn't go out of my way for dine here. The hype has definitely died down.

I've been hearing so much about this place that I had to take the trip and try it out. I ordered 3 kinds of Pattie's. The service is awesome, from the receptionist to the guys preparing the food. Just seem like a cool group of people. The deli had the sea moss that I love and a lot of the snacks I grew up on. We bought the curry goat (Drake), the oxtail (Kendra) and the jerk chicken just to try a variety. Everything was so delicious but my favorite was by far the jerk chicken. The spice was just right and it was loaded. The oxtail and curry goat were good too. They do not skimp on the meat and macaroni pie in these beef patties. Overall an awesome experience

My best friend from DC came to visit for the weekend and said he saw this place on a TikTok video and wanted to try their oxtail mac and cheese patty. We went in today (Sunday) around 3pm and as soon as we walked in, one of the brothers made an announcement that the oxtail and mac patties won't be ready for another hour but jerk chicken and mac ones were, so we got them. About $10 a piece. I initially thought it was overpriced but once I got it home and saw how substantial it was, I quickly changed my mind. It was very tasty and I was filled after eating just the first half. Saved the second half for the next day and it was just as good and worth the price. Definitely has a kick to it if you like spicy. I'd go back for sure to try the oxtail one. Side note: I would've given them 4 stars had it not been for the owner's mom being at the register and servicing people while she was sick. Ugh, not a good look at all. She kept blowing her nose, coughing and even digging up her nose while handling the register and bagging people's food. My friend and I were seriously grossed out to the point where we had decided if she touched our food, we were going to ask the son to remake our patties. I was grateful that the son handled my food and bagged it.

My coworker recommended this place to me so I had to go give it a try. I got the macpatty oxtail, stew chicken, and shrimp for my daughters and I. All three were so absolutely delicious!!! Flavors were definitely on point. The combination of the patty and the Mac and the oxtail or the shrimp or the chicken did not overpower each other at all. The flavors were well balanced and complimented each other. We will definitely be back!!! I only have one picture to show you because we just ate everything so quick.

Came on sat at about 2:30ish and didn't get inside until 4pm. When I arrived I was told by the woman ahead of me there would be a 20-30 min wait because they ran out of Patties. Mind you it wasn't 20 min. By the time I was first on line, they had run out of Patties again. For a business that has been open for a few months now and knows the demands, this is unacceptable. They can only bake 4 dozen Patties at a time because that's all their oven can take. Get ANOTHER OVEN. Also there is no limit on how many Patties a person can get hence why they run out so quickly. I think it's kind of them to not limit it because they understand people are bringing home for families and coming from far away (that was the explanation they gave another frustrated customer) but it would seriously limit the wait time and ensure everyone gets to try the Patties instead of making them wait even longer than necessary. Considering all the hype right now why not just do this to start out and then lift the limit at a later point? Frustrated customers and people leaving the line can be avoided if they'd simply get another damn oven to bake more patties and put a reasonable limit like two or three per person. I also think the issue is the lack of clear communication because though they said 20 min we all know it wasn't 20 min. If you know how long it takes to bake you can give a certain time frame so people can manage expectations. It almost felt like random numbers were being tossed out. Now once I got in there it took like a min to pay and get my food, probably because I literally bought only one patty with the Mac. Honestly I should've just made my own at home by getting the ingredients from another place because while it was good, I didn't need to wait over an hour in almost 90 degree weather for all this. The staff were really very nice and I wish them all the success. I know how beautiful the mission behind the deli is but I think they're shooting themselves in the foot right now. You can't survive on hype forever and while you have it you gotta manage crowds better. Lafayette for instance has a limit on their croissants after they went viral which is fair and keeps things moving. If you want more than one croissant per flavor get back in line. I say it should be the same here. It's not fair that someone who wants just one patty has to wait at least an hour because three people collectively bought all the stock. Also all they had when I got in there was oxtail. No jerk chicken or anything else. There is a vegetarian option though. A veggie patty which is awesome. From what I saw on Instagram the beef patty is halal from the owner and someone on google said that the beef and chicken Patties were halal after visiting and so I went off of that when ordering but I do wanna verbally confirm one day so as not to mislead anyone. I did really enjoy it regardless. It was smaller than I expected lol and it didn't fill me up so I could've gone for maybe half of another or maybe a second one. Maybe the addition of oxtail would've made it more filling. Also the website says it's 7.50. It's 8.50 now and there's a credit card fee. So it'll be maybe around 9 bucks.

Food: For the price point was not impressed. The individual ingredients did not taste well seasoned and the balance of the mac patties were unfortunate. For context I ordered the ox tail mac patty and the jerk chicken mac patty. The jerk chicken was loaded with protein and mad it difficult to enjoy the layers of each ingredient. The texture of the protein itself was soggy and unflavoured. Meanwhile, the oxtail lacked oxtail tremendously! To the point I forgot i was eating oxtail. The patty was assembled sloppily with concentrated areas of mac and cheese, sauces, beef patty meat, etc. Each bite was as though you were eating one ingredient a time. Not a full robust of flavour and profiles working together to make a memorable bite. Considering the price point, unacceptable! A huge contention for me was NOTHING was freshly made. Everything was pulled from a subway style line and assembled on a rather messy and unkept line. HIGHLY unacceptable as I could only imagine how ling those ingredients been there. For the price point, nothing is made to order and prices should reflect this. The ingredients did not taste fresh and the beef patty tasted freezer bought, the meat was also unflavoured and was extremely concentrated in on area of the patty which made it extremely mush. Service: When walking into this establishment you're greeted with a sign that highlights the viral-ness of the business. For the amount of traffic it's extremely unacceptable the lack of staffing there. It was one woman behind the counter taking orders and assembling sandwiches which made the wait time longer than necessary if appropriate staffing was employed for their "viral" location. Atmosphere: Adding to the wait time guest are crammed into this tight area with no seating provided nor central air. There is a sliding door style entrance which remained closed on a rather hot day. 90 F to be exact. As customers wait in this sauna for the cashier/line cook in dead silence, you can notice the steam building on the surfaces from the cramped humid space. Each minute felt like you were standing on the MTA during rush hour minus the central air. Again unacceptable considering the price point!! Overall this restaurant exudes how sensationalism and media presence takes the place of quality food and service. I would not recommend and more than ever will be wary of viral food.

I have tried to come here 2 other times and very long wait times I guess 3rd time is the charm. Not a lot of people waiting, good thing I got there when I did while I was waiting a crowd came in , I got the chicken patty with oxtail and mac&cheese they had just run out of the beef patty's and the wait for them was going to be 20mins didn't want to wait! The chicken patty was so good also got Rice&peas curry shrimp and mac&cheese platter it was so good!!!! I will be back to try the beef patty, everyone is so nice who works there the mom is on the register she is a sweetheart

I had the opportunity to check this spot out the other day and it was cool. The first day I came the line was crazy. I didnt have the desire to wait so I left but happened to be near it the next day. The goal here is the MacDaddy. It's a great sandwich so definitely try get on an off time or early. Remind's me of the Cuts & Slices line situation in Brooklyn for the Oxtail slices. The staff was hella cool.

The mom at the register is slow and has no customer service skills tbh. The food is mediocre and it's barely any meat they put on the patty. They also do not give accurate wait times. Waited 30mins on line outside and then waited inside and then waited for the order to be prepared. When I finally got a call from the mom saying it was ready, there were 2 Patties missing (I ordered 3 Patties and a food platter).... Like?? Had to go back and when I did, the mom was all nonchalant and didn't say sorry or anything just oh wait 10 more mins. They also don't know how to make fried Oreos. Perhaps focus on the food and improving customer service and experience instead of constantly posting about how viral you went.

Finally, I got to try the viral Oxtail DatMacPatty and was not disappointed. The oxtail and patty go very well with the coco bread, which is super soft. They have some unique snacks as well. The staff is very friendly as well. I'm definitely going back to try the rest of the menu.

Waaay too much hype. Food isn't good at all. Food has no flavor, tastes old and is overly hyped for no reason.

I was really looking forward to trying their food. I came across them from the buzz they gained on instagram for their innovative take on a patty. Unfortunately, I was beyond disappointed. First impression the place and the food storage did not look the best. The patty's were stuffed in the warmer and did not look (or taste) fresh. I ordered 3 types to try anyway; oxtail, curry shrimp, and jerk chicken. Of all those, the curry shrimp tasted the best, but overall very stale and not good enough to make me go back. I truly hope that it gets better, but at the moment I think that it is more about the hype than actual quality. Because what I saw on social media and what I was anticipating was nothing compared to what I got. They need to focus on maintaining the taste and quality of the food.

The food was good. It wasn't someplace I'd rush back to go to but it was worth trying. The food was fresh and the ladies working there were very sweet.

Came here during the week.. surprisingly there wasn't a long line. Tried the oxtail with mac and cheese patty on coco bread. Honestly, it was just ok. I felt like the mac and cheese was unnecessary I took 2 bites and passed. I tried their jerk chicken it was sooooo good but very spicy. I also had their curry shrimp over rice and peas it was just ok.

Great service, wonderful food and the place is in a car friendly area in queens. You will fall In love with the tenderness of the Oxtail and rich taste of the coco bread and the amazing cheese of the mac and cheese.

Saw them on the Kelly Clarkson show and had never tried beef patty with cheese etc. Got the oxtail w.rice and cheese beef patty. Was delicious. Would recommend to all

Food was goodt as was the service Think that was de Mum who took my order and Sis who made it! Family friendly enough, no rudeness!!! Also bought the jerk chicken will send that pic too! Will bring my bestie back she makes the best oxtail - we'll see what she has to say about it!!!

I attempted to try this place & at first the line was crazy and they was running out of food early & although they was cooking more I didn't have the time to wait. However behold I had a day off work and headed here with the mission of trying their now famous Oxtail Mac Patty. The line was still long yet manageable, I ordered the Oxtail Mac Patty with CoCo bread and another beef patty with Cheese in the invent I didn't like it... Behold my mother received the beef with cheese and I firmly enjoyed the stocked Oxtail Mac & Cheese w/ CoCo bread. This was a different yet enjoyable flavor then I was used to from the oxtail with a wonderful spice, the creamy Mac & cheese, the beef patty with a slight spice kick and the soft sweet coco bread .. a full meal that took me into my night! I plan of sneaking back in to try their entree & if it's have as good as this snack .. they will be receiving there next Star!!!!

I ordered the oxtail beef patty. On the website and the pictures the reviews showed that the oxtail beef patty was $5. To my surprise it was $12. The patty was overall good.

Amazing amazing no complaints hands down they are very clean quick efficient and the oxtail mac cheese on a patty was everything.

Saw a lot of chatter about this place on IG and it did not disappoint. Can't wait to go back!
